And then it just went "more goodness awaits" and i had to do another one, 4.4 gig this time... how much more "goodness" do i have to update after this one? Dug out my xbox one. Hadnt played in like 4 years.
turned it on, needed to do some 7gig or something update to go online. So let it download and install.
Its done.
"There is more goodness" message appears. 4.4 gig update i need to do in order to be able to go online. weary fine. Just fo it.
4.4 gig update downloaded, its installing, restarts, aaand.... black screen. 15 min later, still black screen.
Turns out microsoft sent out an update that causes this "black screen of death". The solution? Factory reset. But guess what. Its not doing a factory reset by holding the buttons for an X amount of time, and simply going into the settings to do it is also not an option becaus yep. No menu. No nothing. Just a black screen tired_face
Tried contacting xbox support. First the bot asks me some standart questions. Then when i explained the black screen it said that this was something that was best solved by a live employe so i would be put in contact with the next available one. That was 8 ish hours ago
