14 does a lot of things right that wow does wrong, but the same is absolutely true in reverse
alt leveling in 14, even though they are the same character, is arguably MUCH worse, especially with the introduction of chromie time and threads of fate
i would generally say that wow's zones and music are more engaging visually
wow uses elevation a lot more effectively
music in this case i say because FFXIV tends to have 1-2 themes per zone
while wow will have 10-20 that vary based on a mix of rng, the time, and the subzone
