These are dragoon abilities
and there's 6 role abilities I have
I'd say it's a decent number of abilities
I don't think WoW has much more than this
But yeah looking at the early game, I only have 3 useful abilities till level 18
I still don't know the use of piercing talon other than a button to press from range
But then look at 50+ it really picks up
a new ability ever 2-5 levels

I'd also dare to say wow has better music on the early zones

and job quests are great, gives you some class fantasy and shit if you're into that stuff
Eh, I don't really favor the music one way or another in terms of early game
I'll tell you when you get to Coerthas and all that jazz, the music is infinitely better in FF IMO

Even professions like herbing are a whole class with their own guild and you level it and get lots of new abilities

Stormwind's music for a newcomer is hard to beat imho

The whole Disciple of the Hand (crafters) and land (gatherers) is probably the best thing that makes FF14 have better class and professions compared to WoW

Like all of this is a whole system with it's own quests and even later on down the line you have stuff like restoration of ishgard or some stuff (the max level bois can tell you about that but I think it's something to do with the crafters and gatherers I'm pretty sure)

@neon hinge He's a wacko, I loved the Lancer quests up to 30 and the Heavensward expansion was amazing as a dragoon because it's the home of dragoons so you know a lot of the characters and feel something personal towards it, can't speak about the other classes yet

I'm not sure, I don't question the math and all that yet, that's for me to do at 80
When I get to max level I'll deffo get a different perspective on the game because at heart I'm a "hardcore" player
I do my high m+, some mythic raiding if my guild is down, etc
I clear heroic week 1
But so far as a new player, it's more than I could ask for from this game
It's amazing, legit 10/10
So maybe what you hate is monk and uldah, so maybe archer, lancer etc from gridania can change that for you 😛
although you're 24 now so you're done with the intro of the game
Now it's introducing important characters and getting the story going
