Created secondary win10 admin useraccount and tried with this, with no luck. Installer stops at 45%.

i can connect to friends ingame via mobile app, so the router is probably okay.

it had to begin with, but i reinstalled the anticheat, and not the battlenet installer does not complain. Thats just luck.

I've made a search on battle.net depencies, and find, that Github will tell, that the installer is for disk format fat32. (They mention linux a lot there though). Any with win10 or win11, will most likely have NTFS disks.

Blizzard has never said any about this.

because to me rpg is about creating your own self and world with choices

thats honestly really odd, about half of rpgs have you locked into a specific character

so that means youre writing off a large swath of games

lots of games are about RPing a specific character

rpg =/= created character

your attachment to that is your choice, but theres a large swath of games that dont allow character creation which then allows for more in depth story because it builds off of the characters background that the game is built around

that's ture, that's why many of those i consider action adventure games rather than full blown rpgs, because they're sort of preestablished and narrative driven

they sort of guide you with holding your hand instead of complete freedom

like dragon age originss, planescape torment, fallout new vegas

they give you complete freedom

you could say that you roleplay as geralt but everything is pretty much linear with maybe few minor choices you have

like when you choose yennefer or triss

game pushes you into choosing yennefer which is considered "canon" and fits the lore of the books
