Now that I paid off some bills, I've got about 10 to 12 parts to try AI animation with from suno.

Well, it's a fighting game. It also has a hidden character that's completely playable, but not selectable in 1P mode. There's hacks that add him, but they don't add text strings for him.

So, I set about fixing that. I found enough space I could save in that text region of the program ROM to cleanly insert the new strings and pointers, for all three languages the game supports (English, Spanish and Japanese). I even made it so the game's own internal text viewer debug tool can display them.

Thing is, I had some problems with Japanese. The game uses only a limited selection of kanji, and none of the special move names could be done with what existed, so I had to draw new ones in the fix graphics ROM

At least I was able to determine how the game maps its text graphics through studying 'garbage' text

I am a musician, was in bands until about 5 years ago and have a lot of own songs, mostly lyrics lying around here. suno made fantastic songs from them. I recorded the melody by singing it into my phone, worked on prompting and got great results. But of cause, there is hardly any song that is PERFECT. Each song has one or two parts that I would not record that way and hence would edit.

Looking back at the "plagiarism" section, I interpret it as showing only first bars, and in that case your guitar is slightly similar in tone and rhythm to their 0:30. But just guessing. If the indication is that your first 4 bars is like three random bars in the other song I don't think it's too strong. Would be another thing if they were next to each other probabliy.

You only need to credit Suno if the song was generated on a free plan. Even then, you can't monetize the song on spotify as you won't have commercial rights to it. If it was made on a paid plan then you own the song and can do whatever with it, without credit.

Want my genuine opinion of it? I think the movement is far too AI. Add something like The necks and heads of the hydra writhe around like a bundle of snakes. It does not look mechanical in it's movement at all, despite probably being the intentions, to me it's more like cutting out pieces and manually moving them for pseudo-animation. I don't know if it's IMG2Video, otherwise, slap a screenshot into the free-use grok imagine with something like that. Some of the better representations of hydra movements I think are in games like Dark Souls.

I used to love tracker music back in the day, so yes. I think I still would if I had a way to filter for what's good and what's not. I grabbed the mod archive for preservation purposes but haven't had the time to sit down and try to start playing through them all.

and then there's VGMTrans, which will simply dump a MIDI of pieces from CPS2 games, and then write a soundfont with the samples
