I have an unconventional background in that, in that I got into it in the first place by accidentally reverse engineering backprop using a weird data structure where pairs of information are used as keys in a hashtable

Basically, I've been really into set theory for a while, and wanted to play with some concepts I was messing with in terms of problems that are outside P time complexity

so the simplest to work with is basic boolean statements. There's a name for the problem I'm forgetting atm

but basically the algorithm I made turns it into a log time sort function followed by a lookup. It seems stupid, but there were some weird apsdcts where you could do operations after sorting, which was a sort of transformation of rhe problem, that were non-lossy ie you could then pull "out" of this transformation for the solution. But basically it allowed you to save a lot of time by avoiding redoing lower level work. Later down the line I learned about Fourier transform
EDIT to be clear, this did NOT resolve P != NP, and I am not claiming as much lol

and ya, anyway, that was ages ago, but basically I love ML lol, so if I can get more involved, I will

I don't mean that AI entirely removes any human-commitment to a project, and "lazy people who use tools lazily will get poor results", but the fact that anyone can share a complex documentation page, and ask as many clarifying questions as they want until they understand the process seems like it's lowered the educational-bar-of-entry into that programming task, while not "solving the issue" or "doing all the work", but if used collaboratively, you don't need to invest as much time or effort to get introduced to a ridiculous amount of fields now.

I mean, if you're using GPT4o "out of the box" you're not going to get the same kind of results as a custom GPT with a dedicated knowledgebase and instructions to pull only from those resources, or something like Googles NotebookLM to ensure that it only uses content you want.

And 100% agree, it's a productive game-changer being able to ask the same question 100 times until you understand it, without fear of "pissing off" the collaborator, or being afraid that they'll misinterpret your request and color your future interactions based on that misunderstanding

If you listen to the songs they have the same degredation, the same sligh metallic ring, the same use of arpeggiators, the same length of 4 minutes, the same lyrical flow... I am 100 percent sure that loudme is just leeching off of suno.

the thing with Suno music is that you can't mix it, so mastering only can do so much

on my website we sell royalty free music and songs. royalty free music is mixed and mastered on hardware equipment in a studio. the Songs section is a mix of Suno and In House tracks which we use plugins for

if the suno AI would first make tracks out of the prompt, and then they could be again mastered with some subscription extra into the whole song. so the user just press again button where are some mastering presets for different genres or styles. also, as you as human maybe feel your business is getting competence so why not instead of competition, consider some co-operative work, for example: how about Suno would offer also, in addition with AI created songs, custom service where a human is working with AI, to deliver the user a unique songs?

the real solution is for Suno to provide real stems that can be mixed. At the moment what Suno calls stems is just an AI split vocal/instrumental tracks that is very low quality

i think for that, they should make a new level of sub, as for the extra service. suno is very pro AI audio generator as for generic model, but new services are of course needed, if they want to stay at the top of this AI music business. for example, user could upload single samples where to generate song and maybe even choose, what chords are used, or other settings.

My wife wanted to start a small patreon to advertise her storywriting, and because I was excited to find any way to help, I offered to train a LoRA using open-source models for subscribers and make nice quality ai portraits (since there was a huge wave of low-quality chatGPT-ized versions that didn't capture their real likeness, but they didn't know how to properly approach the tech-side of it perhaps). She had been including images of herself in the posts for quite a while, and there were only positive comments and a supportive community.

She spent 7 years building her brand around mental health advocacy, wellness, snail mail, positive affirmations, etc -- and as soon as that we mentioned, there were some really hurtful comments that came out from users who previously had never commented on her posts before, just absolutely badfaith strawman arguments, gish-galloping until they moved onto someone else to hate and forgot about us just as quickly. Saw some pretty ugly sides of public figures, but it seemed like AI art acted as a scapegoat to strengthen a community of luddites, and while we're still seeing splashes of that in response to RunwayML content and occasionally a badfaith commenter in the suno server who wants to stir up the notion that a degree of authorship can't be expressed through music generation through collaborative, human-driven use of AI, it genuinely seems like there's less vitriol in these secondary and tertiary outcries, because a lot of the people who had joined the initial outcry because they were on the fence how realize how much they love generative AI stickers in instagram, and that song their friend made is really cool, etc etc

For creative tasks like lyrics, the new GPT-4o on the free plan is close enough to GPT-4 that it doesn't seem worth it. But the old GPT-4 is remains better for programming or more technical tasks. You also get DALL-E images and they are pretty good, but not uniquely better than Midjourney or Flux. But I do like the ability to 'iterate' on an image easily, ask for tweaks and so on, and I do that a lot for album art.

I don't know what the timer is on free accounts, but if that is the problem, it would fix that yeah. If you do subscribe I would also try running the same queries on GPT-4 and GPT-4o. Since there no limit, I run every single query on both, because, why not. And even on creative tasks I more often prefer the old GPT-4. It's just that GPT-4o is at least reasonably close on creative tasks. On programming it still absolutely terrible.

How do music creators collaborate on songs in Suno? Can you give access to a song or extensions to another user?

Yes, as long as someone has the link, they can extend. For copyright purposes, each must keep track of one another's lyrics as well as Suno's lyrics, which cannot be included in the copyright application. I worked with someone the other day to help create a style -- he provided lyrics, prompt and style. I worked up an intro, first two verses, and a chorus and sent it back. Took 10 minutes. Unsure if he used it or liked it, but I think everything went well.

For the collaboration to work well. style, goals (distributed, monetization, copyright, etc should align well with goals.) Also, because there is no central system for collaboration, the end result will be two songs, one by each.

I used the following prompt on both Flux and Copilot -- the difference being that I have a commercial license over the first ones, while the second ones are generated by copilot.

I'm not saying that copilot isn't worth using, if you read back to what I said earlier, I mentioned how it's an amazing tool for quick experimentation, but it REALLY struggles with text, and there's a number of flaws that we've just learned to live with that Flux seems capable of handling "out of the box".

To answer your question, no, I don't really want to continue discussion on the matter after having said this, but please understand that I'm not "squeezing money" from someone -- I TOLD YOU HOW TO GET FREE PICTURES. If you're determined to never spend money, there's lots of ways to use Flux, such as running it locally.
