the radio is really nice to vibe too. i really enjoy that is also based on chat.

While listening I was kinda disappointed that the styles dont mix and we get something like this: "With Synthwave winning the votes, this instrumental track will incorporate elements of Retrowave, Electro, and Futuristic sounds."

But what if you would get to vote on the genre and the prompt itself during a song, so chat can be active on deciding on how the radio will evolve.

lets say if we get 4 options: Synthwave, Meditation, Blues and Classical.
20 votes for synthwave, 4 for meditation, 6 for blues and 10 for classical.

Then the weight in the prompt should be like 50% Synthwacve, 25% classical, 15% blues and 10% meditation or something like that.
This way the activ crowd decides where its going.

don't remember if this suggestion have been made, but if the devs can help us train the AI to recognize and follow Music Theory - Keys, Voice Type, Chords, Chords Progression, Tempo, Phrasing terms - like Glissando, Legato, Rubato etc. - and world instruments - especially unique ones like ĐƠn Bįŗ§u - It'd be deeply appreciated. Make life so much easier for those of us who actually writes our own music and know exactly what we want. There was a Suno ad that claims you can make your songs sounds just as you hear it in your head - would be nice if that was actually true.

Would be great to be able to see guitars seperated in stems instead of them almost always being combined in to a single stem track. If there are two or more guitars in the song, I would love to be able to split them easily.

Also. The option to see the exact bpm of a track with an option to create a seperate click track with the stems. More of this sort of thing would attract more of an audience from the millions of people who do home and studio recording and make Suno more of a practical music tool in a studio setting.

It would be really nice if the block user function extended to the radio chat as well. To the extent that if I block someone for being a nuisance, I don't see them in the chat.

I would love to see an instrument function in the Prompt section.
Currently you have Styles and in Advanced options you have Excluded Styles, right?

But I would love a section for instruments, like when you add let's say Guitar, Piano (or keyboard), Drums the AI will only use those instrumetns for the song. As currently you can try to add it in but even putting the "Style Influence" slider to max doesn't guarantee that the AI will not shovel in more instruments into the song.

A way to get back to the mixing page that comes up after you generate stems. I can see the individual stems in the library but I can't see how to get back to the screen where you can mute or solo each track

When using browser on mobile (needed since most features aren't in the android app), the playlist button isn't visible on the currently playing song bar at the bottom, meaning you can't change whether it automatically progresses to the next song or not. You used to be able to get round this by rotating the phone screen, but this recently stopped working

"the possibility to choose the bpm and to put male and female together" you can already do both of these things, all of my songs have the tempo specifiied and it sticks to that tempo (if it's not registering the type of beat. just exclude whatever you're hearing in exclude styles. for the male/female part you can prompt duets, or you could use prompts like [Tenor Male and Alto Female Duet Syncopated Singing/Humming/Whispering/Screaming etc] šŸ‘ also instead of relying on ai for lyrics, write your own entirely, the human brain will always have more heart than machine, and the rest of things you stated are likely things that will arrive in good time

Feature Request: Being able to a make persona for a song that a persona was used on.

There have been several instance where I use a persona to refine the sound of a song and it feels different enough from the original persona that I want to use the new song as a new persona but the system doesn't let you. I think it would be extremely useful to be able to make a persona for a song that used a persona to make it.

Suggestion: Shorter Extend

Reduce the minimum extend time.... if you have a song that was seconds from the end before the cutoff, it doesnt need an extra 1-2minutes tacked on it.

The search feature in library needs a desperate update, i have no idea what the search is based on even with the filters, is it searching based on lyrics, title, both, neither, styles, prompts? and most of the time it is unable to find songs i know i have in the depths of my workspace

I would suggest not being sad if number goes down 1, but being able to see the exact person that unfollowed isn't needed. Maybe they did not like the music, maybe their account was deleted. if i was to unfollow someone on social media, I would be hella annoyed or weirded out if I got a message from them asking why.
Anytime you have fans, there will always be some that stop following over time, often for reasons outside of your control. The reason might not even be anything to do with you. Rather than focusing on that 1 person you lost, take pride in what you have and how you earned it.

I'd love it if the browser didn't keep forgetting I'm signed in or that I'm a Pro-Member.

I'd also love it if the Work Spaces didn't lag out horrendously and cause me to close the entire browser down.

It'd also be lovely if I didn't have to waste 100 credits and report every single result (Without a refund) for poor structure before I finally get a result that isn't cut off midway through the song Or turning the origjnal audio to 0% and Still getting constant clones of the song I made the Persona from.

What a bad implementation and what waste of time !

19 seconds it take to download a single song here ! I just counted the seconds.

I do this ~100 times a day-> 1900 seconds a day - > 31 minutes wasted a day!

210 minutes a week, 3,25 hours a week !

14 hours a month waiting for that stupid download window !

Suggestion for v5. Said it before, but saying it again. Make it INSANELY GOOD at Broadway-style ensemble pieces. "Skidrow/Down Town" from Little Shop of Horrors comes to mind.

Load Multiple persona for a duet (or more) and use prompting to tell SUNO which one to use.

Guys - can we pretty please have a button to sort our playlist tracks by 'Most Recent', sothat we do not have to scroll all the way to the bottom to find the tracks we are working on. I have so many tracks in my Playlists, which are essentially project folders - and the site is very buggy when scrolling all the way to the bottom. Being able to sort it by Most Recent would be incredible.

Hi Suno team ā€” loving the tool so far, but I want to request a major usability feature:

šŸ”§ Let us control the length of sections (like intros) and when each part starts.
Right now we can't shorten an 8-bar intro to 4, or make sure the verse/chorus hits by a certain bar or time. This limits creative control and makes commercial pacing (like hitting the chorus by 55s) nearly impossible without endless regenerations.

šŸŽÆ What would help:

Ability to define intro/verse/chorus bar counts

Option to cut or trim a section and have the AI reflow transitions naturally

Long-term: timeline editing with phrase markers and AI-assisted edits (maybe through Soundation?)

This would turn Suno from a black box into a real songwriting tool.

Right now, songs made on the free plan are restricted to non-commercial useā€”which makes sense. But what if someone creates a great track while on the free tier, and later upgrades to Pro or Premier and wants to use that earlier song commercially?

Hereā€™s the idea:
Add an option to unlock commercial rights for those older "free plan" songs by paying a small one-time fee. This gives users flexibility, and gives Suno another way to earn revenue without compromising your licensing structure.

In short:
If a song was made off-plan, let users pay a small fee to unlock full rights.

General Feature Idea: Upload Your Own Vocals to Replace the AI Voice (with Smart Matching & Subtle Fixes)

Hey Suno team! First of all ā€“ amazing work on 4.5+. The creative power is mind-blowing!

Hereā€™s an idea to take things further (maybe for v5?): let users upload their own vocals to replace the AI-generated voice in a track, while keeping the style and composition intact.

How it could work:

  • You generate a song as usual.
  • You upload your vocal performance (following the melody).
  • Suno checks the vocal matches the melody (to avoid unrelated acapellas), then:
    • Slightly corrects pitch/rhythm if needed
    • Keeps the natural tone and emotion
    • Mixes it professionally into the song

Bonus idea: let users "train" a personal voice profile over time ā€” not for cloning, but to improve mixing and understanding their tone, pronunciation and vocal color. Future generations could even be done directly in their voice if they choose to.

Important note: Some singers (like me) don't want an AI to replace their voice. We just want help making our real voice sound its best. It's about collaboration, not imitation.

This could turn Suno into the first true vocal co-producer for indie artists and passionate creators. Would love to know what you think!

Using a persona in song creation is currently frustrating as it seems to be limited to 4.42 minutes for me at least.
I am using 4.5+ which I am enjoying and creating longer tracks- yet when I try a generation with a persona for a particular sound I get this short time which cuts off the last verse + outro etc so forcing an extend which can come with it's own issues either far too long or way to short.

It seems the trending chart is provided by country,
but shouldnā€™t there at least be a minimum number of likes from IPs in that country to be eligible?
I'm currently active in South Korea,
and I constantly see tracks labeled as "K-pop" that have nonsensical lyrics and are completely disconnected from Korean culture staying on the charts.
This really needs to be addressed.

Also, Iā€™m not sure how the exact ranking logic works right now,
but the chart is divided into All-Time / Monthly / Weekly / Now, right?
At the very least, I believe All-Time to Weekly should be calculated using a mix of like count + play count + click count,
and Now should reflect real-time activity ā€” plays, clicks, likes in that moment.

I see songs with only 4 likes appearing in the Now chart, and honestly, I donā€™t understand how.
Iā€™d really like to suggest improvements here as well.

The playlist could use an overhaul. A "download all" with the choice of wav, stems, or mp3 would be very helpful. If not, an Api. A larger number per page would be great. And the ability to sort (alphabetically. new old, etc) would be loved here.

I want a way to show where I want men and women to sing. For I am trying to make a song with both of them singing in different areas. One way would be to let the user highlight the areas where males sing and then highlight in a different color where females sing. The colors for example are blus for males and red for females, then when they are to be singing at the same time the mixed color would be purple to show that both males and females are to be singing at that time.

The ability to regenerate specific parts of a song's "video" for better accuracy in the purple current highlight for what words are being currently sung. (seen in the editor) If we have the ability to regenerate the song's "video" for that reason then what if it fixes one part then messes another part? youll regenerate it then that fixed part is unfixed again. I have a feature request regarding playlists/albums organization:

Currently, when I manually sort the track order in a playlist, the order only stays temporary. After refreshing the page or sharing the link, the custom order resets, and others cannot always see the sequence as I curated it. For music releases and storytelling albums, it would be super helpful if we could permanently save and share a custom tracklist order that stays consistent for anyone opening the playlist link.

Get all the best sounding songs on Suno, of all types. Then get Suno version 3 to cover them about 20 times, then 3.5 to cover them about 20 times, then 4 to cover them 20 times. Then take those 60 songs and train a model to with those 60 songs as "before" and the awesome quality song as "after". After a while it will know EXACTLY how to remaster a low quality version into something amazing sounding. You can also get some really rough bands to do some live cover demos of the best songs on Suno (They don't even have to try hard). Like 20 takes for each song. And use them to train a "demo to distribution" model which can take anyone's rough demo and remaster it as if it was performed by the best band on the planet.

It's not rocket science. It's just simple model training which is done all the time. And if you can get a model to remaster like that? OMG!!!! HEAVEN!!! I can rough together a full song, and then get Suno to remaster it and make my song come to life as I envision it. It's then not really a "generator" It's more like an "Autotune" We generate the song and Suno "Autotunes" it.

Listen to these 7 x 10 seconds song intros I placed one after the other in an mp3.
They sound pretty much the same.
Making a new song (no cover, persona, insp) from scratch, with a new prompt I copied from somewhere, Suno made 7 or 8 tracks pretty much the same, as it would use the same seed.
Weird.
I noticed that also before in another prompt, but I thought I made a mistake.
It happens that Suno makes this.

Here is the prompt I used:
melodic chillout Lounge, Meditation, Calm & Soothing music for Relax, [reduction sound gain -2dB], Crystal-clear, high-fidelity production, Modern studio-quality mix, Expressive sensual female voice.

I used auto lyrics about a random theme.
I guess if you try this, you will get similar starting songs also šŸ™‚

Nothing is wrong, it is...adhering to a prompt even with a random seed, stochasitc diffusion, a dog is a dog, and a cat is a cat, one may have a bit longer hair, one may be shorter hair, but they'll be the same color, in the same scene, if you define it, especially if you use tightly bound words.
Consider training, and data limitations on training sets,, for certain prompts.

I guarantee. replace it with somethign that may, like "properly mastered" or "well mastered" or just "mastered" or actually "remastered" would be best since they have two sets of music, to compare, though maybe just using "normalized" would work, here:

I just spent like 100 credits making damn empty songs cos the window was scrolled down, the lyrics were there when I went down to the switches, but then , poof, gone cos it loaded (slowly) the song i was extending. cool. your ridiculous UI/UX, do you have QA?

Suggestion to add a Notes section to a track, where you could write down additional information for yourself for better organisation. I tend to do Covers of Covers of Covers. and so often I totally get lost in what came from what. With additional information that I could put behind the track, I could comprehend what I did when xD.
Could also be useful for more information about what was the Idea behind a track. what worked in the prompt and so on. I think so many people would benefit from additional possibilities to add Information.

For more control of lyrics rendering: suggest modifiers after each word or line, like this: "my text/+" means "forte" or "loud" , /++ (louder), /+++(loudest). Same for /- (piano/quiet), /--(quieter), /---(quietest). Also special modifiers /whisper, /shout, /scream, /spoken. For Accenting or stress, allow underline of the __syll__able. Of course, all of these would be stripped by the lyrics display. See next suggestion on lyrics displays.

If you download the stems you may find a track for the lead vocal and another for the "backing vocal" and I've had some success getting Suno to generate backing singers voices by putting their lyrics in (parentheses) but it's not foolproof, and creating duets is challenging: the wrong voice singing the wrong words ruins the piece. You can't do this at the prompt level, it has to be in-line with the lyrics.

Not sure if it's a feature already but it'd be pretty useful if we could generate a song, then upload samples afterwards to apply to the song in the new editor (instead of uploading first then generating), i think it allows for people's music to be even more unique sounding.

Like next to the "Upload Audio" button, a button that says "Upload Sample to Editor"

with some kind of folder in the editor to archive your samples.

As a sound engineer, this would bring opportunities for me to actually use the new editor instead of avoiding it

Suno Studio sounds interesting and looking forward to using it, but please please please think about a VST format, where Suno can be loaded on the Stereo Bus (or a group/individual channel), listen to whatever music you have composed up to that point (audio/MIDI virtual instrument), and be able to add additional layers to compliment it, like maybe adding a guitar based on the user prompt, maybe vocals. If it's a musical instrument, the MIDI for it would be amazing too!
This is the best way (and more respected by professionals I would think) to utilise Suno then to produce whole tracks!

Given that the editor is mainly used for fixing problems SUNO created, it really shouldn't cost any credits to use it. Especially because SUNO keeps creating problems during editing, so you end up spending 1000+ credits just to fix the mispronunciation of one word, because the editor apparently doesn't understand even such a simple task!

Please consider improving both workspace and song management in Suno. First, add a direct "Open Workspace" button so we can access them without going through the side panel with creation. Second, allow filtering and status tagging for both workspaces and individual songs. For example, a typical workflow might start with "New" ā†’ "Draft" ā†’ "In Progress" ā†’ "Review" ā†’ "Published". Finished items could be hidden unless explicitly shown. Ideally, users could also create their own custom statuses. It would also be very useful if filters were personalized ā€” meaning, if I set one, the system remembers and keeps it active instead of always reverting to the default. SUNO should move to generative composition. Allow us to generate individual tracks (guitar, drum, bass, synth, etc.) based on chord progression, keynote and time signature input. Then mix and compile all the tracks into a song, then master it for the final product. This may consume a lot of credits, but the result will be better compared to today's generative song. I have mounting suspicion that the GUI loop on the various new fancy features is not automatically dropping elements that aren't active from the loop to ensure crispness of response, it also may be the case that there isn't a dedicated asynchronous separation between input and action. either that or perhaps there's blocking loads going on? There is potential for the interface to be more elegant than it is and it does make certain things, like the editor, very difficult. I don't want to presume but maybe look into isolating input from action

Make the Styles description that shows under the song title a user-deletable or modifiable field.
It completely misses the mark so many times it becomes silly. Especially after exporting to a DAW and re-importing as a finished piece. One example below. This was originally a rock song, stems stripped out in the DAW, reworked as piano + vocal only, and re-imported into Suno. Look at that description (if you can read it). Not even close!! None of that (except piano) is in the finished song. Oh, and it thinks it's a country song. LOL. So not.

is the browser version of Suno Studio going to have the ability to properly break music into stems? It's really good so far, but it is inconsistent with pulling guitar and synth.
I'd also REALLY LOVE a UIUX update that

  • Nested remasters under the original track
  • allowed me to pick or make a guitar sound, and that sound could be used for all renders.
  • Personas to be fixed properly and be what they should be, the singing style, voice, and inflection of the vocalist, so it's consistent across the board. Now it's taking the style of the song you made, and sometimes it blends that original song into the new song. That's not a persona, that's a cover.
  • Change "Use Style and Lyrics" to REMIX, as that's what it is
  • Remove (Remix) from COVER titles and call it what it is, a cover.
  • Nest workplaces. Having a "band" like some have and then inside that subfolder workspaces for "albums" or "singles" helps with organization.

I would Like the ability to "Right Click" (with the right mouse button) on the Song Name of a generated song from the list of generated songs To Open in a "New Tab". Right now I have to Play the song so it shows down at the bottom (player) to "Right Click" the Song Name and Open into a "New Tab". Yes it gets the Job done that I want, but what a Inconvenience. On slightly Different Note: In the Create space It would be nice if the "Slider Bars" were just a bit more Wider than they are currently Or (even better) Use the Drop down Arrow Method that we can Expand/ Collapse to Focus on the desired Section. It really is a lot of unnecessary work to Use those Sliders, but admittedly they are better than nothing. One last thing: As far as saving Prompts go. It would be nice If the "Saved" Prompt would actually Save the Persona being used to create my next song. And... Save the "Song Title" of the Song Last used. When uploading something a song that is older, like Mozart, it falls under the public domain. So, when I first make for a example Toccata and Fugue in D Minor and uploads that to make a heavy-metal mix (or whatever mix I want) Suno says no.

Feature Request ā€“ Global + Section Styles

Right now, Sunoā€™s Style window applies one block of instructions to the whole song, which makes it hard to give precise production direction. In real studio sessions, producers set the overall song feel first (tempo, groove, instrumentation, mix character, and what to avoid), then give specific cues for each section ā€” verse, pre-chorus, chorus, bridge ā€” so the band knows exactly how to change dynamics and arrangement as the song progresses.

The solution is simple: allow the Style window to start with global song info at the top (no brackets) that covers the genre, BPM, core instruments, vocal approach, and an exclusions list. After that, use square-bracketed section headers (matching the lyric structure) for detailed arrangement notes ā€” for example: [verse1] Finger-picked Tele intro, sparse kick and snare, intimate vocal and [chorus1] Full band lift, open guitar strums, wide drums, gang vocals on final hook.

This format keeps the Lyrics window clean, prevents style notes from being sung, and lets users control energy, instrumentation, and dynamics per section ā€” just like a real Nashville number chart or live show setlist. It would make Suno far better at following complex arrangements, modulations, and builds, while giving pros the exact control they need for radio-quality results. šŸ‘

I think Suno could offer a graphical interface showing exactly where you are in the ā€œsound spaceā€ when you type a simple tag-based prompt (jazz, techno, brutal, acid, romantic, etc.) instead of a long descriptive text. The further apart the points (coordinates) are on Sunoā€™s display, the less faithful the result will be to your request. It would be amazing if these points were draggable by the user ā€” so you could move them closer for more precise results, or push them further apart if you want full creative chaos.

Could you please check how everything goes during the playing? I've noticed high CPU Load in the Google Chrome while I'm listening to the music in Suno - exactly in the playing process, not navigation.

I have MacBook Pro 16' M1 Pro (10C/10G) with 16 GB SoC RAM; Windows 10 Laptop with Intel Ultra 9 275HX, 32 GB 6800 MHz. No AdBlockers or another stuff which can change the service working process.

On both of these laptops while playing the music I've noticed high load on the CPU. MacBook is reaching 68 C and that's a very high temperatures for M1 Pro. The same situation I see on my Windows laptop - CPU 24 Cores are permanently busy around 7% that is very high consumption for the latest Intel CPU.

SUGGESTION: For pro subscribers you should consider a higher subscription level to provide unencumbered digital rights to that subscriber's generated content, for a slightly higher subscription fee.

WHY? Agencies and Labels will not accept submissions of music that are encumbered by third parties. So, Suno's license structure stating you can use generated content for advertising, etc. creates a situation where your subscribers can't submit works. Agencies and labels don't want to buy a song for their artist, have it hit the billboard charts, and then have a service advertised it was created by other people or technology.

I write my own lyrics, and have started using my own personal audio tracks to help set the basis for the Suno generated content, but with the current licensing model I can only self-publish. I can't submit for sync, or other uses. This is limiting my (and other subscriber's potential commercial growth), as well as self-limiting Suno's own exposure and growth in the industry.

If like ratio is at all involved in discoverability it shouldn't be. Just realized a bunch of my preference data is borked bc it appears this must have been the case (either that or someone had an exploit at some point). It creates easily abusable methods to destroy visibility for a creator ie view spamming, as well as ignoring that you're culling your best of the best songs (which will inevitably have super listeners listening to them over and over)

Hey Suno team! Would love to see workspaces/projects automatically influence the style of newly generated songs.

The Idea:
Allow users to set default style parameters for each workspace (genre, mood, instrumentation, etc.) that automatically apply to new generations within that project, while still allowing manual overrides when needed.

Why This Would Be Helpful:

Maintain consistent style across album/EP projects without repetitive prompting
Streamline workflow for genre-specific work
Make it easier to stay within defined creative boundaries
Reduce the need to type the same style descriptors repeatedly

My suggestion revolutionizes Suno! Tag admins to read this it's super important. My idea: A tool that lets you post a melody and lyrics and then the singer sings the lyrics using the melody you posted but the melody is only applied on singer's vocals. It is like Runway's Act II tool but for audio instead of video. This revolutionizes music making. I know theres some similar feature right now that lets you post some melody using your mouth or an audio file and then it makes the song based on that melody. My suggestion is different. It lets you choose the way the lyrics are going to be sung by posting a audio file of a melody.

Iā€™d like to see 48kHz sound quality introduced in Suno Studio (though itā€™s not a big deal if it isnā€™t). I also hope for reasonable pricing, the ability to save presets of generated sounds, and not being charged for every small edit I make. A bridge network between DAWs and the Suno web interface would also be a great addition.

The 4.5+ update introduced the feature to add vocals to instrumentals and vice versa. It would be awesome if our own vocals could be made to sound professional and then combined with our chosen instruments or instrumentals. A dice feature that isnā€™t charged for each roll would also be great. In my opinion, the real game-changer for the next update would be the ability to save generated sounds as presets or reusable choices.

Iā€™d also love to see Suno acquire AIVA like they did WavTool, and actually act as a kind of Robin Hood for musicians who donā€™t have access to big studios.

When you have a rapid streamlined use of your web UX, sometimes clicking will inadvertently click on edit because buttons move depending on the state of rendering of a creation (which will then clear the UX lyrics, style, ... inputs). Maybe having a static layout for buttons (no new button or change of the UX for each line would make more sense and avoid this).

@void prairie can the staff help as 1.7k now and its STILL having a stroke. 4.5+ got worse cry. Onto a bop but these vocals are unuseable. Clipping, changing tempo, screaming, distorting...mess. Every vocal stem i have tried (7 pages to be percise) have just gone from starting good to generally getting worse as the song goes on. What if like, the AI can generate a portion of a prompt, then can provide us with options on the sound going forward? Like, Say I'm prompting the AI to generate a deep house track. After 20 or more seconds, we can stop the AI, listen to it's current generation, then ask it to give us a few options of what to generate next, listen to each of them, pick one, and let it generate from that.

I have several suggestions: in the "Lyrics" section, you used to have 7000 characters, and now you have reduced it to 5000 characters, which is not okay; on the contrary, it should be increased to 10000 characters or be unrestricted. For example, I have a project in the future where I will have 98 verses, so the space needs to be broad or unlimited, or maybe it's about a story narrated to music that has many pages, or a mix of 5 songs into one with the lyrics of each song (I have already made 3 such mixes), and in the "Style" section, it is limited to 1000 characters; that space should also be increased to 5000 or unlimited. What is happening with the video file that cannot be downloaded, which is one hour long? I have made two songs, each over an hour long, and I cannot download the file; it gives me an error. I vote to allow overriding styles at any time, especially if a song has traveled very-far through many edits/remixes/covers to arrive at it's publishing point - that way someone expecting hip-hop doesn't get metal. If user's dont know better then they can just leave it as is (auto-detected or historic/original style)

Also, I really want some way to prepend (not just extend) sometimes we dont want a fade, we don't want to replace start section, just need a tiny bit of intro. I have used [intro] lyrics on a cover but it is requires many, many rerolls and even if 100% audio/style strength, still regens a lot of it as it sees fit.

This is particularly useful for crops, as we can't mix and match between tracks within the suno editor yet (needing external download, DAW edits and re-uploads to achieve the same).

Suno has incredible generative power, but right now, it's missing critical tools that make it viable for professional songwriting workflows:

1. Lock Functionality

Let us lock a strong chorus and regenerate new verses, pre-choruses, bridges, and solos without affecting the chorus. Songwriters build songs in modular partsā€”this is essential.

2. Custom & Stock Voices (Eleven Labs-Style)

The current Persona system is too limited. We need a voice engine on par with Eleven Labs:

ā€”Ability to create and train custom voices (e.g., ā€œDusty Baritone,ā€ ā€œYoung Alt Tenorā€)
ā€”Access to a curated library of pro-quality stock voices trained by Suno
ā€”Control over range, tone, accent, emotion, vibrato, phrasing
ā€”These voices should be purchasable and licensed for commercial use

If Suno wants to serve the songwriter and demo market, this is non-negotiable.

3. Lyric & Structure Control

We need the ability to lock lyrics, control syllables per line, set rhyme/meter, and guide phrasing. Right now, itā€™s guesswork. That doesnā€™t work when writing for artists.

4. Chord, Key, Tempo, and Time Signature Settings

No control over chord progressions, key, tempo, or meter means we can't shape the emotional arc or make songs artist-ready. Let us define these musical foundations.

  1. Sectional Regeneration & Assembly

Treat songs like modular builds. Give us the ability to replace and preview individual sections, choose between takes, and assemble our preferred song version.

6. Stems and Multi-Track Output

To integrate Suno into a DAW session, we need vocal and instrumental stems. A stereo file isnā€™t enough for professional production or pitching.

This is what songwriters and publishers need to actually use Suno in commercial workflows.

I suggest allowing users to create their own folders to organize playlists, with example names like completed songs, songs with errors, songs from other users, and so on. Within these folders, they could then store the respective playlists. This would give users more flexibility in managing their content.

Please for the love of God allow users to disable the auto-play-other-people's-music feature when your current playlist ends, or, at a minimum randomize the songs selected for that feature. Since that feature was created, every single time my current playlist ends or my workspace reaches the end of the songs within it, Suno always plays the same 1 song from public playlist. I've heard it a zillion times already and its become like nails on a chalkboard to hear it start up again. I think this also artifically inflates play counts too, I never wanted to hear that song, and I don't like it and yet it probably looks like I've listened to it 1000 times.

I had the same.. to the point of slamming my monitor (that was innocent ofc). I bet we had the same &&^$$ song (had 10M views or so) ..after countless of thumbs down (sorry author of that song. You did not deserve that) ... It STOPPED, vanished, gone (hurray)!...well to some point. Suno still does play other peoples songs unasked for, but at least now they have some similarity (but I still don't want it!). At least give us a toggle to switch it on/off in our profile

Yes, i have an irrationally angry reaction to hearing that song now from being spammed by it so many times lol and I too mash the thumbs down button every time it plays. It probably is the same dang song because it has no relation to or even near relationship to any of the music I make so it has to be a glitch/bug or something and its happening to way more people than just us. It also cheapens the "Trending" list given this song is being artifically inflated. If its not the "trouble" garbage song its this specific all russian lyrics acoustic song that i get spammed by.

Personally I would be happy to pay an additional fee for this service and I am sure others would too.
Free, Pro, Premier as they are with Pro Artist and Premier Artist with distribution for an additional $10 or something.
Too many distributors have anti AI policies and some even have conflicting info meaning they can seem inclusive and then suddenly remove your work a year later.

Wow, didnā€™t knew. I was looking at DistroKid for same reason. Definitely would pay extra it Suno handles the distribution too. But m kinda on the side of having any little kinks of the model and the system worked out. Have better support for multiple singers and refined controlled over voices. Like having the ability to pick and choose pre-set voices, mixing to make own versions of voices etc.

Same here. I've been producing music in DAW for over ten years and I got excited when Suno released it's Upload feature, because it enabled me to upload my own original work into it and then play around with it to see how I could extend my idea etc. But Moises AI Studio contextual AI, which listens to your track and suggest edits etc based what's already there, this is big big stuff! At this point, I'm thinking about switching over from Suno to Moises.

Suno Studio should allow, at one point, users to use their own sample libraries, which most musicians/producers have, in the creation proccess. And next step further from there would be to allow users to use their VSTs in the creation process

I would like to submit a suggestion regarding the Suno website. The current dark theme makes it difficult to navigate the site during sunny days, even with the blinds down, as sunlight still affects visibility.

Sometimes when I have finished a song after I have got the whole song with extensions complete I have to remaster it as the sound quality is often lacking,
and I notice when I publish it there is no box to add a style summary so I have a messy looking bunch of style tags and my other songs have a nice style summary (e.g. Darkwave, Industrial, edm) so it looks weird when you look at our profiles. Some songs have a list of genres (which is helpful as it lets people know what kind of track/genre/style your song is) and others have these instructions.
Can a style summary be added to a remastered song please?

Just an idea for Duets/Group singing. Be able to load more than one Persona, assign it (under the hood) an ID#, and when the user wants to call them have them do it with an @ tag.

I love the Listen for Credits thing. But i really REALLY miss the chance to go to the original song. Or get even a clue, who made it. Really. I heared sooooooo much amazing snipped already. And have no clue where to find them. Thats so sad. I want a "Jump to user" or "Jump to song" ... 70% of the time, the songs are just not my topic, but i know, it helps train the next generation. Of course i do it. BUT ... sometimes i get driven into a song and damn, i'm vibing ... and then i barely cry, because its just 30 seconds i can hear of this snipped ... i liked the previous feature, where you had a whole song with lyrics and theme textes, where you were able to even listen and read the songtext. When in a playlist, I want to repeat the playlist, not play random other songs when it's done. Turning on Repeat is just repeat-one, not quite what I want.

yes, currently I have to use suno then Moises for certain edits and tweaks. there should probably be maybe 2 modes 1 for basic functionality ppl who are fine with enter prompt try several generations, find a good one, minor edits extend / replace and done. and then an advanced / professional mode with these edits. honestly if they did my suggestions and yours plus a couple other have mentioned, and charged more or made the pro edits only available to the current higher tier I would be willing to justify extra cost.

Honestly, no maybe I need to check out those three programs that you mentioned I'm just speaking from a semi-skilled (average to moderately poor) musician that has grown up with and understands the basics of music theory. While the current music editing studio or whatever Suno is calling it is powerful, there are still annoyances. For example, when trying to copy/paste certain parts of the text and it seems to bleed into the previous bit or what I call the meta tag. In general, the fundamentals and basics of pretty much any song include:

  • The key that it is played or sung in
  • The time signature
  • The beats per minute while you can put it into the prompt, and you can try, I have found that unless you or someone else is aware of a specific way, it does not always ensure that the song is sung in the particular style, key, or even time signature that was requested. Ideally, this would be a comprehensive, one-place to do the file creation and editing. But as you mentioned, I'll have to check out those three suggestions to see if there's a way that once you download the MP3 or WAV file and import it into any of those, if there are other specific things that can be done or edited. The simple but powerful Audacity open source file I have also used for a long time just for the basics of trimming and edits on various music files.

The bleeding is honestly the worst issue. I generated nearly 1000 tracks once just to remove bleeding in a stem and I'm still facing such issues with some lead and background vocals. The key, the timing and the tempo is already part of Suno's learning curve so I'm pretty sure it'll get fixed soon.

As for the tools I mentioned, SynthV+Vocoflex are great for having complete control over vocal generations, but are quite expensive. Synfire (a music theory tool) is another tool I'd like to use but is nearly a grand to purchase. This is why I'm counting on Suno to be our Robinhood and bring us poor folks the goodies šŸ˜…

To your point, honestly, even if they don't fix anything else, coming up with some kind of "blend" option or button that allows the merging of two sections or more in a file so that it can adjust accordingly so that the sections can line up, particularly when you're trying to do edits. Even if the word and phonetic syllable count (like I was mentioning) or bar counts is unrealistic at this stage, coming up with some blend option and including some smoothness and fade in/fade out would be really powerful and useful

Fine, and just one more thing: allowing some kind of almost DJ mixing or blending of songs or sections would be pretty amazing. But again, I think I could live without that, unlike the blend button you mentioned, and not having this bleed over into the separate tracks would be so powerful. Even if nothing else changes, I think that would set it apart and establish it as Suno for years to come, but maybe just months in the AI space.

Ah, you mean in-painting to make changes? Sometimes it takes trial and error.

My main concern is the saving sound presets, or choices to be exactly used with another melody in another track. This would apply to drum sounds and 1-shots as well.

I forgot to mention that I never was able to generate a dry DI guitar signal which I could use with processing in my Ableton projects. I was stuck with the tone Suno generates. Having the options to blend in effects would be the pinnacle of any AI music software.

Basically, I wish Suno would also purchase AIVA which is kinda like Suno but more midi-oriented. Combining AIVA, Moises, Wavtool, Synth V, Synfire Pro and DAW-link's capabilities is precisely what we need.

I hope suno management hear us, and realize in almost every area of AI, creation, editing even code-writing the fields are crowded and thre are at least 3-4 "similar" competing AIs or apps. Everyone can make the case why, as of today, OpenAI with ChatGPT-5 is the best, and a few weeks ago, it was actually Google Pro, and it was actually then Claude Sonnet, and so on and so forth. It seems that each AI but can quickly get caught up to or another one can leapfrog it within a few weeks or months.

However, since I've been following Suno and introduced to it in the beginning of last year, I still have tried several others, and nothing has even come close to it, and even then, it's been making major improvements. My concern is that if they continue to make it too consumer-friendly for people that just want to throw in some stuff and just make some music, anyone can do that. But the actual true editing and getting that pro-sumer professional sound for like the local indie gig is really powerful. If they can continue to develop and innovate and incorporate some of these terms, they can have essentially a one-place go-to shop that is going to be difficult for anyone to compete with or be able to copy in any way, shape, or form soon.

i do also wonder about the sliding scale percentages of creativity & style adherence/randomness and if that can actually work within a few percentage points and it is the AI LLM equivalent of "temperature"? or if in reality, it's how close it is to the different stepped stages of adherence to the style/creativeness. it does seem odd in its current implementation, someone would carefully craft the styling custom prompt and possibly even add meta tags in the custom lyrics field, only to then choose < 50% adherence to said prompt? am i missing something with that?

So I used Moises. It isn't that good but there are pros and cons I noticed.

Pros: generated samples don't sound that baked in to me at least (feels less reverb-y or roomy). This is every professionals main concern. But it does have an AI mixer in which you can add reverb, panning and presence. And it does try to use reference during stem generation which Suno Studio won't probably have in the immediate future or this year.

Cons: sounds are stupid. I should've listened to weaver beats youtuber and not given it a shot. It definitely killed the mood for me. Suno covers listens then tries its best and almost succeeds, which can then be separated into stems. But Moises doesn't even come close and whatever I generated in Moises felt more like it could be used as supporting instruments rather than upfront. I just don't get how Moises could get it all wrong even though it's displaying chord changes in real-time.

I think, in the future AI music should be able to discriminate between dry audio and processed audio. Last year, it was presumed impossible to generate stems without sufficient training data but this year, it's becoming a reality. Therefore, I'm optimistic even in the face of despair. I think you guys can do it. @daring tusk Dry audio, DI guitars, and AI generated FX chains would cause a havoc in the music world and needs to be.

Sorry if this is the wrong place, I've been using for like 2 weeks. Speaking as a person with little knowledge of music or ai, I feel like cowbell is mandatory. I'd like to see greater recognition of songs that are beyond copywrite. I know I was raised on old cartoons, but of course I want to put words to Mozart or something. I'm mot sure how difficult that would be. I'd like to see better handling of duets, especially male/female duets, it's more hit-or-miss than other things and it seems like if I get a man and a woman they're swapped. Lastly is definitely personal opinion, I'd be significantly more likely to pay for a higher level of service if the options were for more generations per day rather than a lump. Like to me, $30 for 100-150 a day would be much more enticing than 2000 at once. Again, sorry if wrong place or I'm ignorant of concepts.

Now that we can import 8 minutes of external audio, Suno needs better handling of re-uploads; i.e. a Suno song you've downloaded, maybe fixed with external tools, and then bring back.

Idea 1: Auto-Genned 'Prompt'. This absolutely bugs the hell out of me. We NEED to be able to change this after upload, or somehow set it upon upload.

Idea 2: Linking an upload back to its origin.
I'd love to be able to flag the origin song when doing a re-import, like other Remixes already do.

Hey, it's me again. my time away has been spent thoroughly using the features and functions you've added. Love the "create variations" function sandwiched between the remaster options, right where it should be, it's a great concept. Even if it was slipped in without a word of it. And a great use for the remaster tool to hope for tailored results. So, I use the edit function all the time, and I'm constantly lowering the volume of my jennies. Idk why I'm asking because you've already done so much for me, for us. Would we be able to have a whole number increment in db? nobody is that concerned with a .02 db level adjustment. Those people are in DAW's lol. But maybe it could be as easy as just removing the decimal point increments and instead allow us to raise or lower db by 1. I prefer lowering everything down to -3 db and saving a new song. Thanks for reading. Finally, there should be a location i can browse to in the browser that shows me contest winners, and their songs. Not just one contest, all of them. I would like something else other then "like" to rate songs (especially ones that I make). I have playlists (sorted), workspaces with bookmarks (unsorted), and still find it extremely difficult to organize everything and organize versions of songs that I'm working on. Likes have become a kind of tag for my work vs what I actually just "like" and want to play on the daily. If we could have like a 1-5 or 1-10 star rating for our own songs that was private etc it would make likes far more useful. Even a setting that would enforce unique names or something. Really all we have right now is like, unliked, trashed. If you are generating 100's of versions that really doesn't give you much fidelity for keeping track of best versions etc..

I moved a ton of songs out from my default workspace and it always sorts them by the order i moved them over to a new workspace, so the new workspace has all the songs jumbled up from when i created them. Workspaces and Playlists need a sort function.

The "hide disliked" filter presents a logical problem. I can never show only disliked tracks to eliminate them all. It should be "show disliked" and hide them by default.

Having said that, to keep the boolean logic going with the filters of any kind, it should probably always be "show = true" or checked "hide = false" across the board. The front end should probably flow with typical QoL and user friendly practices.

There are many Korean creators, but it is difficult to produce the desired sound because traditional Korean instruments are not implemented. I am not sure how difficult this would be to implement, but teaching suno the International Phonetic Alphabet would be pretty useful if people were told to use it. They could just go to ChatGPT and ask it to rewrite their lyrics in the IPA, in any language, and then there would no be issues with suno misunderstanding how to pronounce spelled words. This would also be useful for getting suno to sing with specific accents

Suggestion: Winner Playlist & Celebration for Suno Contests. Hello, Iā€™m an official Suno contest enthusiast, and I wanted to share some feedback.
I find it a bit confusing after the results: I have to visit each awarded creatorā€™s profile and sometimes I canā€™t even find their winning track (this time I couldnā€™t find some of the big winnersā€™ songs at all).

Wouldnā€™t it be a good idea to have a playlist of the winners directly on the homepage? It feels obvious, but if it already exists, itā€™s not visible enough. A playlist would give the contests a stronger ā€œclosing moment,ā€ like a real celebration of the winners, instead of jumping straight to the next contest without marking the occasion.

It would also serve as a permanent showroom for Suno, keeping track of all contests and partnerships in one place.

Another idea: maybe the partner artist could repost the winning track (at least the #1 winner) on one of their socials. That would be a great way to showcase whatā€™s possible with Suno, and it would also give more exposure to the winning Suno creator.

I agree, but I'm pretty sure that's not possible with the way Personas work. I'm like... 70% certain that Personas just condition ("prompt" / "prefix") the generation with the original audio you based the Persona on (or at least a part of it). So it's effectively just doing a continuation of that audio, but guided by your new lyric and style prompts. In other words, I don't think the model even knows the difference between "use this Persona" and "continue this audio", and wasn't trained to understand vocals and instrumentals separately. It'd have to be re-trained to handle that... which I'm all in favor of, but that's a big change šŸ™‚

(Note: I don't work for Suno and don't know how the internals work for sure; it's just speculation based on the behavior of Personas, in particular the way using them decreases your max context window.)

Adding a whitelist to personas would be great too, so you can choose who to give access to the persona. (for crossovers and Duets)

Allow us to add Verse, Chorus etc at any section in the song. I tried to add a Chorus to a section and you can only Extend, Crop or Replace. Since two songs are always generated per prompt, it would be great to introduce a direct song comparison feature. Users could listen to both songs (minimum 10 seconds each) and then vote for their favorite. The results could show the percentage of votes each song received.

To encourage community engagement, users who vote could earn Sympathy Points, visible on their profiles, showing they actively participate in the community. Optionally, a separate comment section could be added specifically for discussion about the comparison.

Somewhat related, if 4.5+ vocals could follow the prompt, instead of wailing and warbling and showing off when directly instructed "soft, calm vocals with simple, matter-of-fact delivery", it would really help a lot.
And, surely the AI can be taught to understand the meaning of the word "only"? An instruction for "only voice and piano" shouldn't be an invitation to insert random other instruments, especially those that have also been specifically excluded.
4.5+ has a lot of good points, and I love the increased creativity over earlier models but, it needs to be creative within the user's instructions instead of directly contradicting them. Currently, even with Style influence turned right up to the maximum it still consistently ignores significant parts of the prompt, and isn't restrained by the not-really-functional Exclusions either

hello, love suno first off. I write my own lyrics and record my voice. I know that its a touchy subject with personal persona's and real voice. That being said I wish it would learn how I sing all the different songs over time and then get better and better at sounding like me.. I will also say that some songs do come out sounding exactly like me, it just isn't all the time.

Suno Web Store Feature I know the Suno Devs have a ton on their plate with the intricacies of the engine and platform. However, I know this would be a massive feature. But has Suno considered of implementing a Suno Web Store? Essentially, the store would be where Suno users could post an Album and other Suno or other non Suno members can purchase the MP3 files of the song. You can purchase it via money and of course Suno takes a % cut. However, monthly subs of Suno could purchase with their own credits, and the credits that the person purchases with goes to the person who posted the album. But It may cost like maybe 25-50 credits per song or maybe an album cost like 500-750 credits Thoughts?

4.5+ has been pretty bad about making my voice sound less like me than 4.5 - 4.5 was nearly spot on with my singing voice. All the more need for a voice trainer. It would also be cool to have inspiration for separate instruments. I would really like to upload audio of a guitar riff and audio of a vocal sample to better guide to style, since it's a challenge to get close to my style of playing and the chord voicings I favor.

The only thing I ask of you are significant improvements to ReMi, along with the addition of new features. I would like to see the ability to write lyrics with greater quality, creativity and variety. One feature that I consider very valuable would be to be able to interact with ReMi as if it were an assistant or LLM, allowing for more direct collaboration and more creative control. It would also be ideal to be able to give you more contextual information, as the current limit of 200 characters is very restrictive. Another major problem is that the generated letters tend to be very repetitive. I think this aspect needs work. ReMi has a lot of potential, you can see that it is trying to move away from generic letters, but it still needs to be polished. Also, I would like to have the option to define the structure of the song and that the generated lyrics could be longer, as currently they are cut too soon. A new improved version would be a great help to me, as I don't have the ability to write full lyrics myself and a new version of ReMi could be the perfect solution for that.

"Add vocal" would mean, take this existing instrumental track and generate vocals over the top of it. NOT create a completely different instrumental track that maybe shares a few elements with this one.
Add to. Not replace. The current functionality, as far as I can see, is just another version of Cover Song. We need the ability to actually add to what's already there (as the name of the tool claims), rather than completely replacing the thing that we were told we were adding to.
Or, if the Add tools somehow can't be made to actually do what they say - give them a more honest name, instead of claiming a function that actually doesn't exist

There is a recurring issue: Suno itself adds long instrumental parts that I did not request. Because of this, songs often extend close to 4:55 and then get cut off abruptly. This is not user-driven, it happens automatically. Please fix this by either: (1) preventing Suno from adding extra sections beyond the prompt, or (2) ensuring songs always end with a proper cadence or fade-out before the maximum length. At the moment, endings feel broken and very frustrating

Hello! Iā€™ve noticed a recurring issue: even if I clearly specify that the singer should be female, Suno often adds a male voice anyway (sometimes singing a verse or a chorus).

This not only goes against the prompt instructions, but also makes me lose credits (which I paid for) and wastes my time, since I need to regenerate tracks until I (hopefully) get the correct result.

Is this a known limitation of the system, or is there a way to force Suno to generate only a female vocal performance when explicitly requested?

Also in the editor I tried today to recreate the intro of a song to remove a female voice but that was nearly impossible. It would be great to beable to recreate a section with lyrics or remove lyrics and make it instrumental. And that I could add another steam of singing with some other lyrics like background singers.

I like the hard 'male'/'female' toggles (which often go the opposite way for some reason), but it'd be nice to have a hard 'duet'/'solo' toggle as well. It's also be nice if SUNO actually obeyed duet instructions in the [square brackets] instead of deciding by itself. I have a specific vision, and I go through hundreds of credits trying to realise it.

It'd also be nice if 'cover' stuck to the same time length, or if there was at least an option to strong-arm it to staying at the original version's length.

Hi frontend team, a few months ago y'all removed the "Song details" item from the kabob menu while the song is in process of generating only at the Create screen. I have a use case and think of the solutions possible. The nĀ° 3, dare to think, would be a much more convenient to me as the user.

The use case: the issue is, Suno generates two songs with the same titles. Even with Workspaces (thank you for adding them!) this is confusing. I add a 2-digit number to the end of a working title. For example, I generate the first variant. I enter "bluewave 02" as the title (start with a even number, but it's symmetric), and rename the bottom one of the two songs to "bluewave 01" while it is still generated. Luckily, I can still access the Edit Song Details dialogue via "Add a Caption" button in the right sidebar. This saves me the tonne of time: e.g. with the high Weirdness value, I launch 3 generations at once, numbering them 02, 04, 06 (each is 2 songs), and rename 3 songs into 01, 03, 05. Waiting for the end would be inconvenient, it's good that a workaround to rename the song still exists! But. Manually renumber every other generation isn't the most convenient thing a computer should leave to the user do. The computers are skilled with the numbers. I know, crunching numbers is my job! šŸ˜€

Possible improvements:

  1. The most boring, just don't remove the good old menu item "Song details" even if the song isn't cooked yet.
  2. Let's use the magic computer powers!!! If the title of the song as entered ends in 1-3 digits N, generate titles ending in N and N+1.
  3. Smart numbering. I'd red_heart this!!! If the entered song's title ends in 1-3 '#' signs AND the last, i.e., the topmost title matches the pattern, increment it by 1 and 2. E.g.: I enter the title "bluewave ##" and the topmost title is "bluewave 08". Automatically name the 2 new generations "bluewave 09" and 10. If the name mismatches, turn the '##' into 01 and 02.

No worries. Every bit of data is stored at any moment on at least three physical disk drives in at least two datacentres geographically separated by at least 500km. What if the top 10 winners of a Remix Challenge not only win their prize, but also get the chance to nominate one of their own original songs? These 10 tracks would then form the song pool for the next Remix Challenge.

The community could then pick from this pool which track they want to remix. This way:

Winners get a special honor: their own creations become the foundation for the next round. The community has more influence and gets to shape the creative direction. Each challenge connects with the next, creating a chain of evolving music and fresh ideas.

I think this could make the contests feel even more exciting, interactive, and community-driven. What do you guys think?

Here's a idea... I have the impression that the newer models don't do older eras all that well (1950s, 1960s). How about a slider to pick a decade to infuse the "sound" of that era? 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s... etc. Should be possible perhaps to train the model based on year metadata?

That sort of only works when it wants and during edit works alot less. I believe when you edit suno listens (if that is the correct word for what it does) to the voice just before the edit and tries to match it as much as it possibly can. tags in the field do help sometimes but mostly on new generations and not within the editing or not often enough to be effective for using the editor to change a line or a short phrase inside of a song from male to female or vice versa, and it can be quite costly in credits too) I wonder if an unlimited credits subscription will pop up I would probably invest into that...

Suggestion: A system that benefits both SUNO and its users.

Problem: Many users struggle to get their songs heard. After putting in significant effort, lack of exposure can feel discouraging.

Solution: Similar to the existing ā€œearn creditsā€ tool, allow users to spend credits to promote specific songs. Other users could then earn credits by listening to and rating these promoted tracks.

Example: A user spends 1,000 credits to promote a song. SUNO guarantees it will be played in full by 50 users, each receiving 5ā€“10 credits for listening and rating (thumbs-up or thumbs-down).

Benefits:

For users: A fair way to promote songs without begging for exposure in comments.

For SUNO: An additional credit sink that could also improve the model by collecting listener feedback.

I don't know if it has already been suggested, but it would be very interesting and cool if we could split/separate vocals from a duet understood as one lead vocal track only, so we get both voices in separate tracks, or/with the same idea but separating/deconstructing the chorus/harmonies by splitting them in multi-vocal tracks. So in principle, Suno should be able to synthesize any instrument that it knows of, playing any part in any style. If it knows the sound that pan pipes make, and it knows the rhythms and common melodic elements associated with heavy metal, there's theoretically no reason why it can't play a heavy metal pan pipe solo if someone wanted it to

Please, when it's instructed to use a specific instrument to play a specific part, make it actually do that, instead of ignoring direct instructions and doing the wrong thing instead, while still consuming our credits for the privilege of having our instructions ignored.
If a user prompts for the aforementioned heavy metal pan pipe solo, it's safe to assume that they didn't want ambient chill out music or a guitar solo (which, I'd bet my left leg, is what I'd actually get if I tried this).
I realise there's a need for the capacity to improvise but it should be improvising within the user's instructions, not ignoring them completely. There's no point in having a style instruction if the AI consistently doesn't follow it

I say this having just spent five hours trying to get Suno to play a solo on a harp which is already in the song I'm extending, your AI insists that it knows better than me and the solo should actually be played either on a guitar (which has a defined different role in the song and can literally just carry on playing what it's already playing) or on a violin (which was nowhere in the song, the lyrics, the instruction, the persona or anywhere else, was in fact specifically excluded, but apparently needs to be introduced in order to facilitate not following clear and specific prompting)
I will also note, no combination of slider placement prevents Suno from just ignoring instructions. Style influence helps it to stay within the vague vicinity but even at very high values, elements of style instruction are still consistently ignored.
This thing is a fantastic tool. But a tool doesn't know better than the craftsman using it. PLEASE teach your robot to follow direct and specific instructions
(Possibly could implement some kind of 'override' mode/function where style and lyric instructions are ALWAYS followed even if they break whatever 'rules' the AI is trying to follow?)

For remix challenges, only songs or lyrics should be chosen where anyone who covers or remixes them can freely use their own version anywhere afterward, such as on YouTube, Spotify, or other platforms. This keeps the challenge fair and motivating, and allows participants to share their creations even after the challenge ends.

I have a suggestion , let's say You are working on a Song challenge Contest and it mentions that the Derivative track is the Track that You are Covering or Remixing for example :
Let's say You incorporated one of your own personal Personas in to the Mix of your own Prompts for the Challenge or Remix and your Persona makes the persons song go somewhere completely different ,
lets say you want to Edit a Chunk of the completely changed part to turn into a New Persona ,
I feel like instead of showing the Original Persons song as the "Remix Of" It should actually show All the Peoples names / Derivatives that helped create what the persona is ,
since it's something completely different than what you Remixed but it says it's a remix of the song Even though you incorporated your own Persona and Prompts in to the Mixture .

PLEASE BRING BACK THE PREVIOUS "AUTO LYRICS" OPTION.
I don't want to manually generate the two options and pick one from that - I just want to put in the short description of what to generate, like before, and let it generate the lyrics automatically, after I hit Create. The entire point of me using it, is finding the music style I like, and then being entertained by whatever the lyric slot machine spits out. Sometimes I'll take some auto lyrics and tweak or flesh it out, but I'm not a musician, I'm not a writer. Most of the time, I just want to hit the button, and vibe to whatever it generates lol.

I appreciate the response, but I just preferred the blind randomization to seeing/regenerating the two options myself before each run. Maybe I'm on the fringe, but I thought it was more fun to just get stuck with whatever it decided. I get that it's technically still possible to do it through the 'Write Full Song' option, and that existed before as well, I just don't prefer that way.

Previously you could select "auto lyrics" and either leave that field blank or provide a 200 char description of the song, then hit create, and either way, it would generate lyrics at runtime with no further input or selection. Perhaps I was an outlier and most people DIDN'T use that feature?

I am writing to report several critical issues I've experienced since the latest UI update.

Sound Quality Degradation: Prompts that previously produced high-quality songs now generate poor results. The current audio quality is comparable to the older Suno v3.0 model, even on the highest settings.

Altered Slider Behavior: The "Style Influence" and "Weirdness" sliders now function differently, making it impossible to achieve previous results.

Automatic Lyrics Feature Removed: Leaving the lyrics field empty no longer generates automatic vocals. It now defaults to an instrumental track, which makes the dedicated "Instrumental" button redundant.

UI/UX Complaints: The new UI, particularly the slider emojis, feels gimmicky and is a step down from the previous, more functional design.

The new UI has made workflow on safari browser much slower compared to the past version. The site auto refreshes much more often, trying to highlight text near the beginning or end often makes the tab minimize rather than highlight text, and copying styles for the sake of extending is inconsistent. Sometimes it will switch to the original gen rather than work off the extend. If it does switch to the proper extend it deletes the lyrics that Iā€™ve written.

I would love a feature allowing you to set a min and max duration generated songs, extensions etc. can be. It's nice that newer models allow up to 8 minutes, but having no control over the duration on each track generated is kinda... annoying at times (And no, putting a max duration into styles does not always work) šŸ˜… I don't think I'm the only one wanting this feature and I hope it gets added at some point! šŸ˜

Yes, I know have the little random button, but that only seems to do a few songs, then it starts playing other people's music. When I'm on shuffle, it's usually because I'm trying to review music I've made.

Improve Sort
Sort is abysmal. I can search by "things I've upvoted" and I can hide "things I've downvoted." Who thought of that? Just give us normal filters. Click what you want to see, upvote, downvote, unvoted, stems, songs, published, unpublished, whatever. This ain't rocket science. Any UI/UX person with 6 months experience can tell you this.

Option to Load Entire Library at once
Some sort of button or switch or setting to load our whole library at once. Currently, I have to load my profile, then spent several minute just scrolling down to get everything to load. And then, when I hit "shuffle" I only get about a dozen songs until it starts playing other people's stuff.

Show the Play Queue
Let us see this mythical "play queue." The only time I see a queue is if I go to my profile and hit Play. But I can't change it. Just add stuff. If I go to a playlist and hit shuffle, it sort of works, but again, not reliable.

Give us more control over what we do and do not hear
This is kind of the common theme for the previous suggestions.

  • Don't hide buttons, hovering over stuff to see buttons just makes interactions slower,
  • We can't click a value on the slider anymore, it defaults to drag-mode

Related to that - a lot of people use the web browser version from mobile devices, because the mobile app frankly is terrible in comparison to the web interface
Hovering over things requires a mouse. Given that a large number of users are using the website from devices that don't have a mouse or physical keyboard, there should be no feature that absolutely requires those. Support for and shortcuts using them, by all means. But hover-to-reveal or hold-key-while-clicking, are just blocking a proportion of your users from accessing those functions. Give us check boxes or long-press for multiple selections. Give us buttons that don't hide from us.

Iā€™ve been using Suno for quite some time and was really impressed with the creative possibilities. But with v4.5+, more and more features are being removed or artificially blocked.

What frustrates me the most is that the combination of Persona and Inspo worked perfectly until recently ā€“ and now itā€™s just blocked. This combination was absolutely essential for my workflow:

Persona = consistent voice/character

Inspo = variety through playlists and vocal stems

When such powerful features are taken away without reason, Suno loses a lot of its value and becomes unreliable and barely usable in the long run.

I'm a blind screen reader user and a paying Suno subscriber. Since the recent UI update, I can no longer access key features like the weirdness, style influence, and audio influence sliders. These controls are now unusable with screen readers, and some buttons are unlabeled.
The platform was accessible before ā€” now it's not. This is a serious accessibility issue and a barrier to blind users like me. Iā€™m asking Suno to fix this and make the interface screen reader accessible again. Iā€™m happy to help test changes if needed. If this isnā€™t addressed soon, Iā€™d like a refund, as Iā€™m currently paying for a service I canā€™t use.

Since the new update, I haven't been able to get as good results as I've gotten prior. My suggestion is having a legacy model for prior to this update, as the current 4.5+ is very experimental, this would make it easier for me to continue doing what I was doing while Suno continues experimenting and updating the new model(s)

I used to be able to have lyrics in place on the create side then if I needed to reference something from another song, I could visit that song and copy it the return back and the lyrics were still in place or cached or whatever you did to make that possible. Well, today I do that and not only are the lyrics wiped but the entire look is reset to minimum sizes so that tells me that nothing is cached to persist and I don't wipe history or anything like that so it seems broken. I use a 55 inch TV as a monitor so I prefer these boxes to be larger and not reverting back all the time. For now I will open the songs in a new tab, which is how I used to do it fearing this, but got used to it sticking around and that was nice. Bring that back if you don't mind. Thanks.

pls make the lyrics field bigger, if loaded. How is it even possible that style area is bigger than lyric area. Ik you can make it bigger by dragging, but you need to do it all time, when reloading. The lyric area the most used area ever. So why so small?

Persona + Inspo together is a must. Only way to keep the same vocalist and generate different sounding songs in the same genre. With just Persona every track comes out sounding like slightly different versions of the same song, if not just literally identical note for note to the original Persona song just with the new lyrics. (Or just fix Persona to keep the same vocalist and not try to just recreate the original Persona song with said vocalist.)

With the 10 free limited trials of Suno 4, I could see that Suno works very well with English, and the voice sounds very natural and human. But with Suno 3.5, you can tell that the voice is not human, especially when I ask for songs in another language, such as French. Suggestion:
On the main page of Suno, we tend to see a lot of the same artists and their songs featured under the different genres. I like to try to discover newer, low follower count profiles to listen to...to give their music a chance. But it's difficult to find those accounts when the main page tends to be flooded with the same artists and high follower accounts.

Can we make a genre called "Mix Tape" (just an example name, call it whatever), that features a wide variety of genres, and any users with less than 500-ish followers? An algorithm could be written in order to show songs that have a decent "like vs listen" ratio, so that content would still be entertaining. This "Mix Tape" genre would frequently rotate through different artists and songs.

This would give smaller accounts a way to gain followers and engagement on their tracks.

One important feature that many users would really appreciate is the ability to export the generated music as a MIDI file or full score/partitura.

This wouldnā€™t be a ā€œfree bonusā€: users are already paying with credits, so the service would be fairly compensated.

Regarding copyright: according to Sunoā€™s own terms, in case of PRO/paid usage, the rights of the generated music belong to the user, not to Suno. Therefore, the user should also have access to the written form of their own music.

Since exclude is usually a hoax, I would try a more specific prompt: "intimate raw vocal."
Instruments will usually have some type of reverb depending on the mix, so Suno will most likely ignore the absence of all reverbs. Being specific to the vocal, you'll have a better chance.

And if it is a dry mix you are aiming for, prompts like "close mic'd" for acoustic instruments or even "dry unprocessed" for electronics could help if stated in different ways for each specific instrument you want. ex: "dry close mic'd percussion."

This change seems regressive unless Im not working it correctly, but Im not finding better options and the long search bar isnā€™t needed when we could type it ā€œafroā€ā€¦and get options or ā€œchoā€¦ā€ and chords, chorus, etc pops up. I'm having an issue where I can't make a song, no matter how much I regenerate it, show the lyrics in the Lyric Video properly.

And it's come to my conclusion, that for this Song in particular, it's the Width space that's messing the layout of the Lyrics.

For whatever reason, the hard coded width is causing so many bugs.

So I propose a Feature, when editing the Song Details.

We get a little Slider for Width Adjustment that forces a new width.

And Font Selection possibly

And it would let users self troubleshoot those problems a lot easier

When you move an item to trash, automatically remove it from any playlists it was in. This is annoying seeing a playlist that says "24 songs" but there's only 8 in there because I've trashed the other 16 and can't get the damned playlist to update now.

before, I could change the song title with a single mouse click.. Now I need to go into the menu ..2 clicks and more time and eye effort. The changes in the UI always means for users most of the times not an improvement. Add a second button in the third column where the lyrics are: "Song details". So we can access it with 1-mouse click.

The purpose for this, it's to be able to tell the difference between completely generated AI lyrics. Versus people that actually write lyrics. Now I live in Canada and technically, anything that is written. Is copywritten under our law. But I'd still have to prove that I am the writer of the songs. So certificates are important. Thing number two I would like to be able to have dual personalities on a song effectively as I like to mix and match and who doesn't want to do a featured song with their own personasšŸ¤­ i'm just saying these are my suggestions. Please enable the 'karaoke' feature where the lyrics are highlighted in the regular 'browser' of the songs too, not just editor. You should already have that fucntionality and data avaialble

I think it would be amazing if Suno added a Copy-Cat Input button where users can sing, hum, rap, or even beatbox a melody/phrase, and the AI copies the vocal style, rhythm, and melody into the generated track.

How it would work: 1.Press a button and record your voice (sing, hum, rap, etc.).

2.Suno analyzes the performance (pitch, timing, phrasing).

3.The AI voice (chosen by the user) mimics that input ā€” same melody and expression, but with professional sound.

Why this helps:

No more ā€œAI guessingā€ the melody ā€” users define it directly.

Makes Suno accessible even for people who canā€™t write sheet music or MIDI.

Unlocks more creativity: you can hum an idea on the spot and turn it into a polished song.

Works for rap flows, unique vocal deliveries, or just quick melodic ideas.

Itā€™s basically like giving the AI a guide track, but still letting Suno do its magic with voice quality and production.

proper track management the current remaster is very poor and is not what it says ... full master is where panning volumes are all sorted so when music is played loud the proper notes of music come out

Suno seems to have a great imaginationā€¦ but I never asked for an audition for a duet. Lately, I keep getting a female singer added into my songs, even when I clearly specify otherwise. Iā€™d really appreciate it if Suno could follow the userā€™s instructions exactly, without surprise guests on vocals. Thanks!

I'd lke to be able to adjust the key of the song up or down without changing anything elese. Is it possible to have that as an edit option?
When editing, would like to be able to have a way to focus on the lyrics. There are a lot of times when the words are off here and there, mispronounced, or skipped entriely, If there was a way to focus on a redo of that part, it would make it easier to get songs sounding great.

Accept multichannel surround audio files, or at least multiple stem import and separate stem interpretation when covering. I noticed it processes quad surround wav files, yet interpretation is not much better.

Hi, Iā€™m experiencing a recurring issue with Suno:
even when I clearly specify ā€œmale solo vocal only, no duet, no female voice,ā€ the system still adds an unwanted female voice or turns the song into a duet.
This is very frustrating because it wastes a lot of my paid credits and forces me to regenerate versions I donā€™t want.
Could you please fix this issue, and also consider refunding credits lost due to these errors?

yes. Hold down the Ctrl key and select all that you want. This gives the same 4 options when you left click. I find it better in light mode theme as it gives you more contrast atm to see what you're doing.

Iā€™ve tried using the editor to address lyrics imperfections. Sometimes if it is a word or two it will work but my experience using replace sections with the editor leads to a noticeable change in tone or volume. Sometimes I can fix that by doing a cover after I edited a section but you can lose some of the nuances that make a song special when you do that.
But further, when you have something that is lyrically complex (like a rap song) you may get it to fix one word only to have it lose or mispronounce another. Iā€™d love to be able to devote the edit power only to the vocals on occasion. Maybe I could fix this by editing a vocal stem but it will take a lot of outside effort to get a working version in bringing the stems back together.

Is there anyway we could have a legacy style mode. Like the way the browser interface was prior to wahtever update changed things. The icons were smaller, and when you would add a song to a playlist, it would keep it highlight so you know where you left off. Didn't have to track every song you added as you go, nor look at the playlist in another window to figure it out. That would be fantastic (or fix the current interface at least for the highlighting feature.)

Something that might be useful would be maybe an audio analysis function that'll generate a style description? Like a youtube, soundcloud, spotify, some sort of link to a song that you want Suno's take and analysis on what the song is described as. I don't know how that is concerning legal territory, but it would be great to have the ability to get descriptors of songs so you can incorporate those detailed style descriptions into other genres when making covers or original songs. Fundamentally, you're not taking the melody or the likeness of the song at least, it'd be just Suno giving a description of how the song is. Would that be possible?

True. It ain't infallible, but the description I've found rather powerful in steering a genre's direction. It does rather well if you include what genres you're looking for, and then running the description after it I've found, which then steers it further to the direction I'm wanting it to go. I don't know how much depth people put into their prompt descriptions but the almost 800 characters Suno does give me with some of these samples I'm working with are great for precision and that's ultimately what I'm looking for.
