This is a real deal breaker issue and I am really mad right now becaues I invested hours in this song. Please can someone explain this? I generated a part 1 which is 3:30 long all perfect. Then I generated an extend with 2:19 and put them both together and all of the sudden the sound has small but noticable cracks like mini stutters right at the start and in the voice of the singer already within under the first minute. I re-checked the Orginal created 3:30 track and there is nothing like it. I even re-done the process "Get full song" over and over again and in the end result final song those small cracks are always at the same spots but before there was nothing. How can it create new issues in a part which was already done and also each time at the same spots. This makes no sense at all. I really lost my believe in this system now because I wonder how many times this might already happened without me noticing it. This is a total deal breaker.

And this issue even gets more and more absurd. I created two different extends one 2:19 and the other 3:39 long and in both cases the cracks around the first Minute of the song are on the same spots. Each time over and over again regardless how many times generate it new with "Get Full Song" This is really the worst this Ai has done so far. Hours and houndreds of houndreds of credits ruined and who knows if I take a closer hearing how many songs are ruined that way I created investing days and weeks. This is ridiculous.

And this issue is on Web and Mobile. Makes no difference.

I see the same issue as well. It's not a fix, but the persona icon comes back after I hit create. It will also update when swapping personas. And it does use my persona with that create.

Mate I had so many issues lately and some of them are real deal breaker. First it happens already a couple of times that Songs I created (the final product) I can't rename or change the cover icon each time I get an "Unknown error occurred" red banner and this doesn't change with those songs even days or a week later it is permanent.

And now the deal breaker issue. I invest hours sometimes 4-6 hours into one song and yesterday I had a perfect part one 3:30 long and then I made countless extends to get the right ones. One with 2:19 and another one with 3:39 and after merging those together all of the sudden the perfect 3:30 first part had cracks and weird small short stutter in it. Which simply ruined the song. I'm not sure I've had the issue with changing the name of the song, only when it is still generating it. I did have an issue with adding a 10 second video. I finally realized I was going too fast and it didn't finish uploading and approving the video. I thought it was just too big.

Also, not sure if I've had the issue with audio like that. I had one similar where it had artifacts I didn't catch with my headset but I did when in my car. I don't remeber if that was apart of the first generation or an extend. I ended up replacing it by extending and the issue was gone.

And I checked with headphones and without and the issue wasn't there if I listen to part one alone. Chrome and Firefox do the same thing with personas.

It is odd that it does that with the original audio. The only other thing I know that degrades the audio is the video.

And I don't know how to go about fixing the artifacts. I stay away from the editor because it usually ruins the song. I noticed someone mentioned the "heal edits" option. No idea what it is. It seemed like it was more of an "undo" button.

I do not get the "heal" thing too. I know you can select a part of a song and create alternatives and in most cases they are terrible because the volume is completely not matching both ends and if it is a voice it sounds completely out of place. It only worked once in a pure rhythm instrumental part.

So if this is an issue on all browsers have as it seems shouldn't this be a bigger addressed issue by now I mean the Persona one because as I see it this should be an issue all have or?

Not a clue. Some people may just be selecting their persona and quickly generating and not noticing it. I think I saw someone else mention this issue a little earlier elsewhere. I noticed this issue with the Inspo option. Didn't realize it was an actual bug until this.

Yeah, the inspo kicks out the persona and cover and vice versa. But if you create, the persona comes back. I think Inspo does get rid of the cover completely though. I'd have to listen to it to see if it's similar or not.

So, I was able to download the video after updating the background and it was different from the first one. Not sure if that is what you meant. But I do see the issue where the song title won't update. I deleted some of the title and that worked but now I can't add what I deleted back.

Nevermind. The bug with changing the song title is fixed now.

On the new editor, had quite a few changes, but now only a handful of edits even show in my libary, yet if i go through my network logs and go to them by their id, opens it, i can download etc, but attempting to open any of these in the editor just has random parts of the song, can't reset, can't edit, can't play, everything crashes to the error, legacy editor just hangs on the image above, looking in logs bunch of access denied errors, not sure if that is normal

Yes both. I only do 4.5+ because it sounds the best. The only thing to get rid of those artifacts is to click the 4.5+ Remastered but with that the Vocalist never sounds the same anymore so it is not the same but right now the only solution as it seems.

Ok, got it. Just wasn't sure if it was a bug I've gotten. When I would extend using 4.5+, it would only give 3.5. I tried it now and got full song and the original audio was different.

It would still show 4.5+ as my chosen version but would generate 3.5. Getting the full song would also give 3.5.

Well, the version above the lyrics would show 4.5+ but the songs would show 3.5. Refreshing would usually fix it temporarily.

Wan 2.2 is free though. You will have to deal with the watermark until you subscribe. It is also SUPER censored lol.

There are ways around their censors though. Just word things the right way and keep generating. You get a check in bonus of 10 credits, good for one 5 second video or 20 images. Not sure if it is time based, but I now get 50 check in credits.

Best way is to just do it on your computer if you have some ok hardware.

But the price range is really high for those video ai stuff. I mean 35€ (roughly 40$) Considering a 5 minute long song. You could create with 10 sec videos around 10 videos and this if every created video is a hit which surely never is. So in the end you might only get 5 videos. Kinda rough

Any way of getting around the delays when creating songs. For example, I put a prompt in, or upload audio and after about the 5th creation SUNO hangs. The Generate Video button has been sunset and now all that's required is to select Video from the download options. This should create a video that is updated to reflect the modified lyrics displayed in your Song Details. If for some reason this isn't functioning that way for you, please clear your cache and reattempt.

I disagree, so let me explain my point of view. I'm not sure if I speak only for myself, but I used this feature not to download videos, but to generate or regenerate videos that are then visible in embeds, e.g., on Discord. Here is a picture of an example of a song after video generation and before at the bottom.
By removing the button, I will have to download the video unnecessarily, which will not only increase traffic on your servers (if I'm not the only one doing this) but also add an unnecessary step to my process.

Bug: No Feedback When Activating Persona

There seems to be a bug whenever I do the following:

1. Go to Library
2. Choose any song and right-click ‘Cover’
3. Click ‘+ Persona’
4. Select any persona

Normally, the chosen persona’s name appears at the top of the UI to confirm which persona is active. This worked until yesterday, but now the selected persona doesn’t appear anywhere in the UI, so it’s unclear whether it’s activated. There’s no visible feedback.

I’ve already tried a different browser, incognito mode, and cleared cache and cookies multiple times. The issue persists.

It is a bug. But you are still able to use the persona, thankfully. Just select your persona and tap create/remix and it should reappear. It will also update when swapping personas. Just like with the Inspo removing the persona, it will return when you create/remix. Tested on edge, chrome and firefox.

Did the while UI Interface changed for anyone else too? I was creating songs, just loaded another tab and then the whole UI of Suno changed and this might not be terrible but because of that the "Get Full Song" button is gone.

Even the Icon in the task bar changed logo-wise. From the Orange one into a White S kinda icon. Like a new design. But changed back to Orange shortly after. Wth is going on?

i think it would best when roll out is done , as some things could be hidden , and might now show until say the full ui is launched not beta ,, even in f12 dev tools etc xample local and published are different intil full publish some errors might get fixed as they are now but might fail due to full launch

Prompting for a harp to play a melodic 'lead' part, even for short sections, consistently results in a violin instead (even with violin excluded). Suno seems to strongly object to harps doing anything interesting and will consistently use different instruments instead (piano, guitar and violin all get used, even when all of them are excluded and harp is clearly directed as the only instrument)
Not sure if that's actually a bug as such, or if the AI is just putting too much weight on conventional composition and genre norms when it should be following user instructions instead

Okay enough is enough! Now you can't even paste a lyrics or style prompts into the fields anymore. We pay for this. I do. I got the premier plan and it gets worse each second. Now it is unuseable. There is no "Get full song" button anymore and now you can paste Lyrics or Style prompts into their designated sections anymore. Is this a joke? No one asked for a new UI. Give us the other one back. At this point I can't do anything anymore. At this rate normally people get compensations. This is really the worst. I mean I could handle bad outcomes or weird "I can't rename my songs anymore"-stuff but this is really game breaking.

Edit: It seems to work, if you add exact 5000 or less. But if you have more it doesn't even let you paste it. But the "Get full song" button is still missing in the new UI on Web.

🚨 Feature Request: Duet / Multi-Voice Option

I’ve done a lot of testing with prompts (soloist #1, soloist #2, alternating verses, alternating genders, prompts etc.). Sometimes it feels like it almost works, but it’s inconsistent and usually reverts to one primary voice. Right now, we can pick male or female solo voices — but not two distinct soloists in the same song who sing the verses as directed.

A true duet / multi-voice option would open up so much: call-and-response songs, narrative duets, gospel/choir styles, and more. Other creators I’ve spoken with would love this too.

Sharing here so it’s on the radar — and I’d be glad to help with further testing if useful. 🙌

Spent the last few hours working on a song which is just harp, bass and drums. It's fine with that bit, it worked alright through the intro and through the lyrical bit
And then I tried to extend to add a solo after the vocal ends. Out of about 30 attempts so far, over 20 introduced a violin (which was nowhere in the song or instructions), a few more used an electric guitar, and the two that did manage to use the right instrument, had it alternating with unasked-for violin segments 😂

Okay this new UI is really the worst crap ever. Sorry. But now you can't even mark all songs in a bundle anymore in your list and move them somewhere else (other folders etc). Now you have to mark them each one after another.

Shouldn't something new not be better instead of worse? Really each day another bad experience lately.

It is still more or less like flipping a coin. Especially with more instruments. The fuller the sound the worse the audio could turn out. The best quality I got so far was with less instruments. Especially rock oriented music can sound muffled and dull many times. Was the same and still hasn't changed much except you are lucky in Suno Gacha here and there. But so far Quality really hasn't changed and I really create a lot. It really depends what you create.

Another "new UI is Crap" Update (It freakin never end):

To make the list even longer. Before if your Lyric section, style section windows and advanced options were calibrated or unfold open at the size you wanted them to be they stayed that way - always. Now if you reload the page or get back to it later all is minimized again and you can unfold or change those windows sizes each time from scratch. This is no QoL changes at all. LITERALLY ALL GOT WORSE!

ANOTHER DISCOVERY: AHHH 😑 you have to be kidding me. I spent more time reporting this dumb new changes than creating music. Honestly this is just embarrassing anymore what's going on here. NOW if you Remastered a song it is not shown like normally when you create or remastered a song. Now you have to reload the whole page then the songs are there and visible. I wasted 20 Credits because I thought the UI didn't respond because nothing showed up. Until I noticed that you have to refresh the whole page. Give me back my old UI. I hate this!

Yeah this is what I thought too. I mean people pay for this. They just did something while I was creating music. No words before - nothing. I just created songs and reloaded the page and bam then new UI was there. Normally if something is that unstable you give the customers not only a heads up but also the chance to still use the old UI until the new one works for real. And people who wanna try can try out the new UI but not being forced.

BTW do you work on PC too? Are you missing the "Get full song" button too after extend on Web browser.

The spanish language in suno is totally broken in 4.5+, It's not possible to make songs that sound like european spanish anymore, all songs have a "deffect" in pronunciation that makes the "z" sound like "s". That thing is named "seseo" and is a the default in most latin american countries, but is considered an error in spain; and now is not possible to make songs without "seseo" so we can't make songs that sound like european spanish anymore.

I got stems for a song, which worked, but trying to use the "Add Instrumental" to the vocal stems prompts me to upgrade to Pro, which... I already am, and clearly worked fine for the Get Stems? edit: everything else tagged as Pro is working except for "Add Vocals" which also gives the same prompt

Not sure if this has been said, when going to edit a song, the lyrics are not listed correctly and the sections are not right, I am not sure if this is related to the length of the prompt or the song, for example I had an outro at the end of a song, the section of the previous chorus had absorbed the entire section and when trying to edit a couple of calls in the outro that came out garbled in the output the lyrics did not even show the outro section at all. And it kept trying to replace the sounds in the outro with similar sounds from the chorus, which ran me through an outrageous amount of credits before I got a replacement that sounded anything like what I was wanting. Not sure if legacy editor has any of the same problems. But I had also noted that a few times I have gone into editor it was not playing back the edited section which I ended up having to go and open a seperate window into my workspace and uncheck the hide edits in order to listen to the edits seperately before choosing the one that I wanted. I love how the editor looks and functions, so I am really pulling for you to get this fully functioning correctly and efficiently. *Cheers

Some stuff is "kinda" fixed. But the whole UI is just terrible. It is far from QoL changes or userfriendly. Buttons are not easy accessible, you have to search for stuff, it is full of bugs and you have to calibrate and resize you windows each time because to UI remembers nothing. It is so much unnecessary extra work. There is literally no improvement only down sides so far.

And it is time for another round of "WHICH BUG DO WE HAVE NOW?" Now if you click (...) this is all on options you get. You have to completely reload the whole site again then it is back to normal for some time until you are limited to this 3 options again and it is time the reload the whole page and refresh it (Wich also means everything in your Lyric prompts and style etc is gone and you have to fill it in again.

There is nothing left in my Prompts except FADE OUT, END stuff like that. And they start singing again and full on 3+ min extends and the OG song is already 6 min long. And this goes on and on. I even put stuff like "Singing, voice, vocals, long outro, etc. into Exclude. Doing literally nothin.

But now when you press that button, you have second layer of music creation menu that takes up whole tab right when you close the hovering music creation menu... giving you twice the music creation menu, and no workspace access...

Or I am for example in a Workplace folder called Jrock and I create songs there and all of a sudden one sung creation does not show up. I wonder and think "Maybe it didn't reacted me clicking on "Create" until I found out that this song was created somewhere else in another folder I wasn't even in.

Covers/remixes/anything using Inspiration or a persona, will very rarely run more than 5 minutes long at most. It's a side effect of the way Suno handles the reference data from the original song and/or persona, that data takes up some of the space that it would otherwise use to generate new output.
You can still extend the song past that point, you just won't get the whole thing in one generation if it's based on another song

Have that issue all the time myself. Suno will create a new folder "Untitled" and shove the currently generating tracks into that instead. It has made 5 "Untitled" folders for me so far, and the thing is they can't be deleted.. I've tried so many times. It still even has the old issue of not finding the workspace list and the more i use the website the more angry and frustrated i become.. This change was totally unnecessary. It should've been tested far more vigorously internally first, on multiple browsers.

I even erased all text, all prompts and only put [Fade out] [END] (which nearly always worked) into the lyric prompt and it still creates 3-4 (and those are cut off again) minute songs with singing considering there is no text at all and the frist track is already 6 min and long enough. It just makes no sense at this point anymore. It seems the AI became totally learn resistent. If it is fixated on something you can tell her at all possible means not to do it and it still does what it wants.

I tried everything but the new AI model they are testing on us since yesterday it seems is absolutely learning resistent. I wasted easily 500 credits for nothing only the get an easy short fade out of the last instrumental part. Because as you can see the song it is extended from is A Fleeting Dream 1.2 which is already over 6 min long. And it still beyond all logic is creating 4 min tracks and even those are freakin cut off again at the end. I am sick of this. I even let a night pass sat down this morning and still the same.

I am so aggressively already forcing the AI not to use voices again because as you can see there is no FREAKIN LYRIC part in it anymore and it still starts to sing at the same spot over and over and over again regardless when I chose the extended cut it produces the same structure regardless what you add into the fields. And do we get compensated? No...of course not.

Personas are really not doing what they should. Lately (Like so many other things) they tend to sound more or less all the same. Or they start with the right tone and then their voice shifts more and more to something else more typical Suno sound.

The same what I told them many times in DM and here. If they wanna try out a new UI they should do it within their company or some testers who wants to do so but not forcing use to be their guinea pigs testing a crappy unstable UI and some weird AI changes. As you said we pay for this. This is just unacceptable.

I'm exclusively using persona and it works well for me. Have you expanded the advanced panel and increased the persona influence. It's around 20-30% as default

I think around 50-70% works best for me. I'll also bump weirdness up to 60-70%. It often takes around two three rerolls to get what I want

I put the Persona aka Audio influence in my case always around 85-100% makes no difference in many cases. And like I said it sometimes starts strong and then looses ist path and turns into a totally different was. Very inconsistent. And it also can not sing in a British accent.

That was quite long ago, I mostly write the style like this now with the better handling in 4.5:

Hi everybody, today I tried to use the Persona Option and a windoe opened to choose a song. I have currently 12 songs in my library but when scrolling down the Choose Song Menu closes everytime. I cannnot name the Persona because there's no chance to add something. Uploading a picture is possible . Anyone else having this problem?

Getting errors trying to create a persona. First error-when clicking create persona with public toggled on a pop up encouraging me to make my persona public would come up and I was unable to do anything but exit. Tried again with public toggled off. Same thing a couple more times. THEN 🤣 I got an error message not a pop up that said I couldn’t use an artists name in description. I Didn’t. Same I wrote to him and no response. The lack of communication and heads up what they plan to do is really a huge minus considering this platform. It is beyond my understanding why such things are not tested in-house long enough before they release it. Instead they sneaky silently shove it into your face literally in the middle of creating a song (it was in my case) and now pure chaos. Testing is not for paying customers - except you are invited to it having the option if you wanna tested it or not.

I have tried 2 diferent browsers. It doesnt play. Every other song in my library plays just fine. it is only this one that doesnt play.

So the problem downloading stems is back. After downloading stems for 3 songs yesterday without issue, the fourth song refuses to download the stems. If I switch the stem download to MP3 it works, but the WAV stem download will not start no matter what I do. I've tried everything from the browser side (close, logout, login, clear cache, etc...) and I just cannot get a WAV stem to download now. The song isn't long, less than 4 mins, but I can't get past "Preparing (may take a while)" if WAV is the selected stem type

I've been creating covers of the same uploaded audio clip on a Windows PC. After several versions, Suno starts creating versions where the audio gets muddy/muffled after exactly 30 seconds. This has happened before and once it starts, every version has this issue, it's driving me nuts (and taking up lots of credits). Tried logging out, no better, tried swapping browsers, same issue. I expect if I wait till later or tomorrow it might be working again, but I was wanting to work on the song now.

Hi everyone. I would like to point out that since the new Suno web GUI was introduced, it is becoming very difficult to generate instrumental music. Especially, when I use "simple" mode and select "instrumental", it always (always!) adds lyrics. I downloaded the app to try working from there, but the experience is very different than the web and full of bugs. At a programmatic level they don't seem like bugs that are that difficult to resolve, so I expect some communication to appear as soon as possible, even just to show presence and seriousness towards customers. I wasted several credits this month, I don't intend to waste any more next month.

Sliders were introduced with v4.5 so they're likely not supported at all for older models (probably had no effect even if you could change them with e.g. v4).
When you say the style box is greyed out, which part do you mean? (I see you're editing the styles in the screenshot.)

I was doing a quick improv-ed prompting to show the use of single prompting over using the magic wand for a users question in tech channel. So my focus was to include sliders if they were available. So I used 4.5+ and sliders as well.

Magic wand was also introduced with v4.5 since it's designed to handle more elaborate style prompts, so it's meant to take the old style "ingredient list" prompts and attempt to enhance them into something v4.5 is designed to handle. I think they used to be hidden if not supported by a particular model but I may be wrong.

Ugh. Sorry to hear that, @ancient crystal I am new to Sumo, created an amazing pair of songs on first try when 'free,' but played just a minute, of course. Paid to unlock the two 4.5 versions (3.5 were fine but not as good!) - and it played once or twice, but not since, cleared cache etc. etc. - even tried in Firefox, same thing, plays only the first minute. BUT. I downloaded the Android app, and THERE it plays the WHOLE song (it's only 2 minutes anyway!) Have you seen any answers? I submitted a tech note to support, no reply. But I asked Perplexity about it - it said my problem is frequent and persistent. I was doing nothing fancy, and don't want to download it, I just want to share the full thing! Okay I have a wierd one, I got a generation that I love, but the problem I am having is that it completely skipped a verse and did the verse after twice in a row, I want to edit it and fix the verse to make it correct, when I go into the editor it doesn't show the original lyrics it shows what it thinks the lyrics were (example my 5th verse is actually written as verse 6 and verse 6 was written as verse six but the timing between the lyrics and what is shown on the timeline don't exactly match either.) where the actual verse ends and the hook kicks in is before the lyrics of the verse end in the lyrics list making it hard to select the exact section I am trying to replace. gonna try to muddle through it as I am close to being finished with this song, but I hope that maybe I can help any of the devs who might be working on the functionality of this editor with my example, if you wish to reach out to me I will share the song privately and you can see what I mean for yourself if it will help.

I know that there are not so many users like me who like creating VERY large pieces of music, so I don't expect it to be resolved, but anyway, I'd like to draw your attention to it. When you use extensions and create your piece fragment by fragment, it's very hard to get a full song when the duration passes 5 hours. The most I could stitch together up to now is 5 hours 27 minutes (after a few tries).

I can’t suggest what to do, but just wasted 200 credits because it’s skipping a chorus entirely after a verse and skipping to the final chorus. Most times it skips the instrumental drop and bridge as well going straight to the final chorus. Will post if I figure a workaround.

I went through every line within the lyric section, made sure that each line had no hidden formatting from the copy paste. So deleted space until line below moved to line above and hit enter… that fixed it.

I agree it feels like it’s become a social media platform like IG except it’s not reels and stories, it’s songs. I don’t have data to support my theory but I would guess the vast majority of users are not interested in creating high quality music. So, I adjusted my expectations. The Suno platform is never going to be a viable option to promote my music or reliably reach an audience that would enjoy what I have created. There are some users who would appreciate what I put out there, but reaching them through Suno isn’t going to be possible unless I bring in big money from the music industry and buy my way in like I see a couple examples of. It’s not a bug, it’s just a cultural phenomenon coupled with commercialism and a normal desire for Suno to be profitable. Wish you all the best…

The Issue is it is not consistent. It starts strong and loses its magic on the way. Either the Audio quality starts muffled and gets better later on or the opposite around. Or the Persona starts as you want it to be but totally changes its tone and voice over the course of the song. Yeah and Artifacts. Ruined a lot of songs for me. Especially I created a Song part 1 which was perfect and then extended. After I merged them together all of the sudden the first part which was clear and perfect before had artifacts.

On the Create page, now that the "Bookmarked" filter is gone, the only place to see bookmarked tracks is in the horizontally scrolling bar at the top of the page. But the UX of that bar is pretty bad, primarily because the text gets cut off.

I have one bookmarked track right now where I can only see the first 3 letters of the title, and the rest of the title space is taken up by "v4.5" and "Full Song" badges. Only the first 2.5 words of genre tags are visible also.

Restoring the Bookmarked filter would be best IMO, but if we have to use the top bar, please fix the text limits.

1. Searching for songs in the library isn't working properly (or possibly at all). I'm having to scroll page after page to find old songs that I want to remaster. Search WAS working yesterday without issues
2. Can't create a cover this morning at all. Every attempt ends with two windows saying it stuck while generating and no credits were used
3. Can't use the "Remaster" feature. It flashes like it's going to do it for a split second, then no song appears in the Create or Library section. Eventually, the "Stuck While Generating" banners appear.

For PC web browser (firefox/brave anyway), I've found that the longer a Suno tab is open, the worse performance gets. A fix I've found is just opening Suno in a new tab, seems to help a lot. When you start to notice slowdown, try that and see if it helps. For me, in firefox, clicking anything, editing song data, play/pause, scrolling the page, etc. - everything will get increasing delays to the point where it can literally take 10 seconds for anything to happen (now I do run a LOT of windows/tabs, and use many extensions, so that could be part of the problem for me). But reopening in a new tab helps me a lot.

Yeah, when you're done Suno-ing for a while, close the tab, then open a new one next time you need it. Helps a lot (I'm using Chrome on an Android tablet and have the exact same experience, it's not specific to any particular browser or OS)

Problem with the new editor: I'm starting from a generation of a song I really like the style of and using it as my base. I want to add more lyrics and sections to this song in order to keep the singer/music/instruments. One main problem is that the lyrics in the new editor DO NOT match the lyrics. I am not able to edit them so I reverted to the Legacy Editor where I was able to enter all of the lyrics in the current version of the song and align it. However in the Legacy Editor I cannot seem to add a section with new lyrics so I switch back to the new Editor. The lyric fixes I made in the Legacy Editor do not transfer over to the New Editor. It is really getting annoying that songs starts at a way lower volume and through the course of the songs it gets louder and louder instead of having a consistent volume. Consistency is a general issue with Suno especially since the new UI. Also vocals do not stay the same and change their tone throughout the song.

Browser performance is based mainly on how much you have in your cache. Try clearing the cache, not the cookies, and you'll notice better performance.

betcha it's the same broken routine which loads only the beginning of any track lists, user lists, playlists, etc., and won't show you the rest until you start scrolling down (i.e., if you're lucky).
Mine's been like that for weeks; sometimes it loads if you keep scrolling back and forth, sometimes it loads if you close the tab and reopen in a new one, and sometimes it doesn't load at all. It really is a nightmare. I get that loading only n items in long lists saves on traffic if the user doesn't scroll to the end, but n=20 is just way too low. At least make it a 100!

P.S. Ahahaha, I just tried it in the new UI, and I see what's going on--only 5 personas are visible, even though 15 are loaded. It's the scrollbar that's broken🤦‍♂️
You can go to your Library > Personas, and Favorite the one you need; that way it'll at least show up on the Favorites tab of the persona selection dialog.

Please test this stuff before pushing it out to people who are dependent on it in various ways.
As excited as you are to get stuff out.... please stop breaking what we pay for with our hard-earned money, time, and effort. And don't treat people like guinea pigs who didn't sign up for that. You have a beta and an alpha program - there, people sign up for that. And I hope you listen to their feedback.

But pushing stuff with so many bugs in production, to so many people, as pretty much a business practice - it shows disrespect to your biggest fans.

It will most likely be fixed by tomorrow, since it's not a very complex issue. Rest assured there's presumably nothing wrong with your account and there's been no indication that the feature is being paywalled or anything like that

I do feel your pain though, I'm in the same boat. You might try the mobile app but I can't say for sure if that would help. Couldn't hurt though

Whenever that happens, just separate the word in two. Suno will still understand it in context. E.G.: Let's imagine there's a band called "The Elephants", and you are saying something like "drums sound like a march of a thousand elephants". If Suno blocks your prompt because of that, change it to "drums sound like a march of a thousand elep hants" and it won't censor it. Let me know how it goes!

Bottom line: spaces don't mean much for the model to understand what you're saying, so play around with that!

Don't use title case ("Title Case") as it can interpret it as a name. try "vietnamese" (all lower case), and if that doesn't work, just write "vietn amese". Trust me! It will understand you anyway!!

OK, I get it now. The prompt you wrote is in Vietnamese language, right?
I SUno is flagging your prompt, and you don't know what word is the problem, copy your prompt to a text file, And paste just half of it to see if it passes or not. You don't need to spend credits for that. You can use the "Style Prompt Re-writer" to check if your prompt will be censored or not.

The button doesn't work when you are using censored words. You can narrow down which is the problematic word by trial and error without spending credits. You need to have your prompt written somewhere else for backup, and do copy paste many times, but you will find the problematic word eventually, and then you can try the "split word" trick I told you before

I have plenty of credits. If you share your prompt here I can do that for you, even without understanding a single word of what it says!

I paid again this month but this time I've discarded lots of songs 🙁
Many songs end before the end and doesn't follow lyrics properly.
I need the brazilian portuguese accent and I use that in prompt, cause I don't like portuguese accent, but many times it gets confused and instead of the style I wrote, it gives me "brazilian sertanejo style" which I never want, I really don't like this style.

I think that songs with no ends shouldn't charge again to redo it with end... It was not a prompt problem, but a bug.

I've been a Premier user for months and have created a lot of songs already. I make music in the genres of HandsUp, EDM, Eurodance, Hard Dance, and Hardstyle. The songs were always good, with beautiful melodies, and everything was always correctly recognized. But since today, the songs sound like Schlager or ballads, slow and without the typical genre bass, etc. The melodies are terrible compared to before (I was just making music yesterday!). The length has also changed from almost 4 minutes to 2:30 minutes, etc. I hope you can fix this quickly, as it would otherwise be a disaster for me.

I'm having a problem with the extend feature.
I had a song that sounded quite nice but had problems with pronouncing certain words.
Then I used the Extend feature and wrote down down the timestamp manually, included the line just before the extend timestamp in the new lyrics, but all the generated extensions skipped an entire section of the lyrics (ie. skipping the entire pre-chorus and instead starting in the middle of the chorus) for some reason. This problem kept on popping up throughout around 10 generations so I'd say it's fairly persistent.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or I made a mistake somewhere, but this is the first time in months that I'm having this sort of problem so persistently.

Seems like suno.com website has gotten a new look, however this doesn't work well with my screenreader. Now most buttons which were labeled with text are not, or at least my screenreader can't read them. I am paying for the pro version (Pro Plan) monthly and tried to add vocals to an instrumental track and it keeps popping up with the you have to be on a pro plan to use this feature. But I am on a pro plan. I see other people are having issues with other stuff also. Since yesterday's update, I can't extend my tracks.

while I did the same thing with the same prompt and same text the day before yesterday and it worked

You've changed (and broken) covers
Up until yesterday, it was possible to cover a song, set Weirdness and Style influence to 0, Audio influence to 100, use a blank style instruction, and the output would be a near-exact copy of the original song. Often the only significant change from the original would be that the voice/vocal style would be influenced by that of the persona used for the cover (if any)
This was an incredibly useful tool because it allowed us to keep essentially the same instrumental while changing only the voice (helpful when Suno decides not to follow prompts about vocals or to just ignore the persona used, which by the way happens a lot, because no level of Style influence will reliably make the AI follow instructions)
Doesn't work any more. Cover version with sliders at 0/0/100, either with a blank style instruction OR an identical instruction to the original song, now consistently have major differences in their mixing and mastering, as well as shifts in structure or melody that reliably did not happen with this method up until yesterday.
The result being, we've now effectively lost the ability to switch to a different voice while keeping the same instrumental, unless we use an external DAW to do it. This is a huge problem for many users who aim for all their songs to sound like they're performed by the same artist, and who are now essentially forced to use external tools to achieve this where previously it could be done entirely within Suno itself

Currently having issues with the extend feature on web.

I have tried in every browser I use (chrome, brave, arc, zen, dia, edge) all to get the same error.

When clicking create on an extended audio I uploaded (which is just a chord progression I made so no chance of copyright issues) I just get an error at the bottom of the screen. (see attached screenshot)

@sand depot Hey everyone! About the Add Vocals / Add Instrumental issue via Browser, It's not happening on my iPhone. I can use both features with iOS Safari and iOS Chrome. It's probably also working via any browser on Android Smartphones as well (Looks like only the Desktop website for suno.com has this bug)
Oh, and all the Advanced Options are now available on mobile browser (Create / Custom Window).
Not sure if this is old news, but just in case...

Hey folks, I’ve been running into some issues with the persona selection on the web app lately (started a few weeks ago).

When I click +persona, the list cuts off — scrollbar won’t let me see all my personas.

Search is broken:

Typing “T” → nothing.

Typing “To” → wrong or no results.

Typing “Tom” → still nothing.

Only when I type the full “Tomm” does the persona show up.

This makes it pretty hard to manage personas if you’ve got many of them.

Actually it seems the extend feature is completely broken for me and just ignores my audio (key and bpm) on the rare occasion that it actually generates. not sure who else is having this issue. This completely destroys my workflow.

The desktop UI is completely broken after the update. What used to work perfectly was “improved” — but it only made things worse. It often feels like changes are made not for real improvements, but just to maintain budget and create an illusion of hard work.

There’s an old but very true saying:
“If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.”
This should be printed and hung up in the UI department as a reminder.

This isn’t the first time that in a major production branch the UI has been messed up so badly that it’s physically impossible to create anything — 90% of the options are gone, and making a single song is now a struggle. It’s really disappointing that these “improvements” get in the way of creativity and productivity. Extremely disappointing.

I'm a blind screen reader user and a paying Suno subscriber. Since the recent UI update, I can no longer access key features like the weirdness, style influence, and audio influence sliders. These controls are now unusable with screen readers, and some buttons are unlabeled.
The platform was accessible before — now it's not. This is a serious accessibility issue and a barrier to blind users like me. I’m asking Suno to fix this and make the interface screen reader accessible again. I’m happy to help test changes if needed. If this isn’t addressed soon, I’d like a refund, as I’m currently paying for a service I can’t use.

I've been wanting to do a Public Domain Poetry album, taking poetry that is out of copyright, and putting them to song.
I'm trying to do Poe's The Raven, which is in Public Domain. It is rather long, at 9600ish characters. Suno accepts 5000 in the lyrics box. So I ran it, it produced about half of that 5000; so I Extended it, with the remaining lyrics, and it gave me another small portion, leading out to 2:11, and repeatedly did 2:11 for multiple tries of Extensions because it slightly changed the voice of the first part. I finally got an extension acceptable, and combined that, then ran another Extension to try to get more of the lyrics that I put in. Again, a bunch of 2:11 partials. So I combined on an acceptable one, and Extended again....now it's suddenly giving me copyright claims, on something that is PUBLIC DOMAIN.

Bugs I'm complaining about:
Extensions being short
Needing to do several extensions to get a song that is under double the character limit listed
All characters usable in the text box are not being generated in the song
Not maintaining voice exactly across Extensions
and that Personas are still recreating the same tune! ugh!

When trying to cover one of my own songs and adding one of my playlists via +inspo, only 4 random songs from the playlist are shown. After clicking Create, nothing happens.

Expected:

All they do is ruining other parts which worked instead of fixing anything or god forbid finally improving something.

Honestly people are paying for this and you do your experiments in the back and we got ruined songs, lost credits, lost time, new bugs over new bugs again and again. And literally nothing improved so far within the course of a week now only got worse with each day. Instead of testing everything out within a small group of people within the company on a separate server before you change something, we instead became the test subjects unwillingly.

And to be honest, I really felt in Love with Suno and it brought back joy and also light into my life but lately I am just deeply disappointed how everything is handled or not handled. Not communicated and done overall.

Do you have anyone testing for screen reader accessibility. Me and several other blind users are finding it very difficult to use create now. Eerything has turned to unlabeled buttons and the sliders to control wierdness and similarity are not usable with out messing with it or sighted assistence. Is there any plans for that? If suno's hole thing is everyone can create music, don't break it for those who can't see. We know we already won't be able to use studio so at least don't make it so we can't create either?

This isn't the exact thing you're pointing to, but instead a useful approach to help. When you click on Creative Boost (looks like a magic wand) feature, you'll see an option to select between Edit Lyrics and Write Full Song. When you select Write Full Song a pop up will occur. At the bottom toward the left you'll find the option to select between the different models. Going to add some images to help explain. Let me know if I misunderstood or explained it poorly.

Hey is there a current known issue with personas? I'm trying to generate a persona from a 4.5 song and when I fill out everything and hit "Save" it spins for a couple seconds but then nothing happens, and no persona generates - it just stays on that set-up screen. EDIT: turns out there was an error with an artist name in the description, but this was hidden under the persona set-up UI so it took me a while to see it
EDIT 2: I can't put in any description without triggering this error: "Description cannot contain artist names." I've tried half a dozen, without any artist names. Think this is a bit too sensitive.

Well, good UX practice says that if it can't be used, it shouldn't be there! 😛 Yes, I've already learned that I can open it outside of Create. I wanted to open the queue to access the 'Play next song' button. Sometimes I create more than two songs, start playing them, and then do something else while wearing headphones because I just need to judge whether they're OK or not. Ideally, I want to play four songs in a sequence. I couldn't achieve this, but if I enable it on another page, it works as I want it to. It's just a matter of accessibility of this button on this page. Either provide a way to open the queue, or remove the button. 🙂

The Remix/Edit > Cover, Extend, etc. options on a song details page appear to be non-functional. Clicking them does nothing at all. I have to find the same song in my Library and use the menu option from there to cover the song

I understand what you are referring to. Why was the auto generated AI feature removed? Before you didn't have to do any of that. You just had to click either "Instrumental" which made sure there were 0 lyrics or you could click a wand that auto generated lyrics without having to type a prompt or anything. Why? That was the absolute best feature.

It's been a few days with this UI update and I dont like most of it.

1. Basic problems exist for just navigating - bars are too close. Generally all the UI elements are janky Chrome or Firefox.
2. Bookmarks (useful) no Pins > dont even work
3. More bad UI choices in Create > I cannot even view most of the Styles properly anymore that box is too small and yes my styles are complex.

Everything looks unpolished, unprofessional.

NONE of these buttons work when remixing another person's track, they can't be cropped or sped up. this means they have to constantly keep the track open for remix to work on it. this isn't a viable and helpful change. this virtually kills most of the collabs i can do..

Remixing is not working properly with the new ui interface. i can only remix my own songs. i have used 3 different browsers all with the same result. i have confirmed with the original artist that remixing is turned on for the track. the only way im able to remix the song is if i go to their profile directly and find the song and select remix from there

Yeah dude was talking about my own issue not related to yours, but agreed these errors are super annoying and off putting as a customer

To reiterate if any dev can afford to actually take the time and figure out why this is happening:

1. I upload an audio of a chord progression I made

2. I select the extend feature

3. Add my styles and adjust parameters (weirdness etc.)

4. I click create and within about 5 seconds the clips try to generate and then I am hit with an error to generate for both clips.

This has been happening since the new update was pushed. As a full time producer and composer this feature was really useful to me and I have spent a lot on credits just using this specific feature alone.

The Personas in the list may not show the one you want. If you type in the search box I find it will show you what you're looking for. However, if it's the first time of using that search tool, it may take a while for it to be found, especially if you have lots of Personas.

The size of the first one is 1241px x 1087px - an odd size to upload, Try square, 1087 x 1087. Other than that I don't understand what is the fault. If you are expecting the image in video to be same shape as you uploaded, then you need to suggest that the videos are compiled a different way, otherwise the video is by design.

I just figured out why this happens. It seems that whether you can select certain speeds, like 1.08x, depends on the size of the box on the website. Making the box larger or smaller can affect which speed values are available.

@sand depot Each day is getting worse and worse. Now you can't create anything anymore because it sounds so terrible. Nearly each extended songs is a mess (yesterday this part at least worked 85% better). It starts good and then sound drops like if someone is messing with the cables at a concert like have a connection issues: sounds gone, back, gone, back... and this in less then a couple of seconds back and forth. Suddenly the vocals get dull and mono only on one speaker or you hear knocking, stomping, like someone is Hammering at something totally out of context, clicking, ZZzzzz or what ever weirdness comes up and it has no connection to music or the song at all. Artifacts etc. the list goes on. It is like going back in time instead of having any improvements.

If you are lucky really lucky you get 1 extend out of 100 credits which has no issues. And I do not even say they are great but at least do not have any bugs, artifacts or weird sound issues in it.

BUG: Shift Selection Broken In New Song Interface.
The new song layout is nice, but it broke the ability to select multiple songs for deletion. You used to be able to hold space and select a range of songs, now doing that does not work. This is helpful if you've just listened to a group of candidates and they didn't work out and you want to delete them all. Now you have to hold cntl and select 1 at a time. Please restore the shift functionality -- it saves time.

@sand depot has the dev team communicated what the ETA for either reverting back or fixing the newly introduced bugs. A few days ago, my personas worked and were quite amazing, but now they don't work at all. Is there a timeline or official response from the team on when this will be fixed?

Not a bug specifically, just a poorly coded DIV. The "Expand" button is blocking the text across the entire bottom half of the lyrics box (highlighted in red). It should just be a square and not a full width rectangle. Reason this is bad: you can't click text covered by it, on the full web app or in mobile. Looks like the reason for this issue is buttons that were removed in the new create layout, but somebody just deleted the button itself and not the containers.

As of today 9/18/2025 I'm not able to update Profile Name, Bio, or handle in the Edit profile section of both Chrome/Firefox in either normal or private browsing. When you type a new name or handle and press save, it just reverts back to what it was previously. I was thinking maybe it was a server side lag, but others with other issues are saying other 'buttons' and preferences are broken or reverting. Seems like some broken features with the latest update, but I'm unsure. I'd post a picture but it's of my real name and I'm not about that.

Oh I see what's happening. The "Instrumental" button is fading away the moment you start typing lyrics, but it's just a visual effect and thus leads to the problem I posted about above. Not a fan of that. It's okay to leave UI options on screen. The problem this behavior creates is that now if I decided to do instrumental instead I have to manually delete the lyrics from the box? But what if I don't know that? The "instrumental" option is just gone if there is even one letter in the lyrics box.

It's not against the rules to leave a checkbox on screen. If we want to make it vanish because it's covering other important UI elements, then a far better option is to not cover up any important UI elements in the first place. I can drag the lyrics box to make it bigger if I want now, and the "Expand" option is there. So why does the "Instrumental" selector need to rest on top of the input box anyway?

Just zoom all the way out to 50% in your mobile browser. Don't expect to be able to do much though, the way it's coded means touch doesn't work for most of the tasks you'd want to do in Editor. Even if you have a mouse hooked up to your phone it still doesn't work. Like you can't use the + or - to zoom in on the track. You can't reliably select lyrics or a section of the song other than tapping the section header to select the entire section.

Using a Persona is broken now. After todays update, now if your lyrics go longer than the original song from the person, it still shuts off there. And there were artifacts that caused weird noises in the music. I wasted 120 credits just making 1 song. Song titles are getting truncated with more than 40 characters when posting a hook video

When posting a Hook video and selecting an existing song, the title of the song will be truncated in the user's library above 40 characters.

So if the song title has more than 40 characters the rest of title will be removed. You have than to manual edit your song in your library to fix it again.

One thing I noticed with covering a song. Before you could use an Audio and write a detailed Lyric and Style prompt and it was for sure it will use the main melody of the Audio and include it into your song. Now that is not the case. The only way to use the audio file is to absolutely erase all prompts and ony include lyrics. Plain Lyrics without any description of the music at all. Sad but true. This limits our creativity a lot.

@sand depot I said it ones and say it again one of the biggest loss after we got this new UI is the absolut or nearly absolut destruction of the use of Covers. Before it adapted the melody of the used audio regardless how the sliders were placed or how detailed your prompts were and now it nearly always ignores the Audio especially if your Lyric and Style prompts are detailed. It is like if they completely devour the Audio and ignore it. It makes using Audio nearly worthless anymore.

You have to remove the Persona and reduce all your prompts to the absolute bare minimum like only Lyrics without any directions and commands for the AI and then only then you might get to hear the melody of your uploaded Audio you wanna use. Really heartbreaking whats been going on. Sad times.

You cant censore the word "bratty" from a style!
the line in the style:

Bratty is a term, its a type of attitude, "he was so bratty," etc.

Use spaces inbetween the word, so that the resulting two words don't mean anything. The model will understand what you want.

• "bra tty" won't wok ("bra" has its own meaning)
• "brat ty" won't work either (for the same reason: "brat")
• "br atty" should work.

Try this:

I ran into that same issue with that same word. Also "skank" is a common style of playing guitar in reggae music, but it was tagged as an artist's name.

You cannot click on this last line to position the cursor for editing text. You have to scroll 1.5 lines to do so.

Unfortunately it seems to be a deliberate bug. Anything that's an artist name, or an existing song title, or a lyric, has a fair chance of being blocked because of the risk of someone possibly using those to create something that would infringe someone's copyright
Which is a valid concern because people love to sue at the drop of a hat nowadays, and copyright law in relation to AI-generated content is still a bit unclear
BUT, the current level of restrictive does seem excessive. Given that one of the main selling points of generative AI is that it understands natural language, it's certainly possible to create a filter that can spot 'risky' words and then correctly assess whether they're being used in a way that might cause trouble.
If it could stop wrongly blocking public-domain lyrics that would be lovely too

So bizarre how ID3 tags work.. I can rename a song in Suno but there is still a mismatch between …

@rocky ledge I rename a file visibly, but the embedded metadata inside the mp3 — specifically the ID3 Title tag — still has the original name, so when I downloaded all 30,000 songs and play them, MacOS (and apps like Music and Quicktime and Finder Spotlight) prioritize the internal title over actual file name! This is why I keep seeing songs everywhere with names like “(Verse)” instead of the real names I give it!!

Not pertaining to Web specifically, but there does not seem to be a channel for general bugs. Over the past several days, about 85 to 90 percent of my results have had degrading audio quality after one or two minutes into the song. Instruments lose their texture, sounding hollow with odd echo effects and other issues. These are the same problems that existed in earlier versions but were mostly fixed with the upgrade to 4.5+. Now they are back and worse than ever.

I make music with mostly analog instrumentation such as guitars, snare drum, and upright bass in a blues style. I wonder if the model has been trained so heavily on generic studio-produced pop and rap that it no longer handles realistic percussion well. That seems to be where the problem lies. The percussion and drums start out fine but then sound progressively worse as the song continues. This problem began after your recent UI update. If it continues, I will cancel my subscription, because I have no interest in making the kind of music SUNO seems to be targeting. And it is simply too expensive to spend two-thirds of my credits on buggy, unusable results.

v4 and lower only support 200 character style prompts.
v4.5 and v4.5+ support 1000 character style prompts.

The “pin” button on individual song generations isn’t working. I click it and it populate the top pen area for a split second and then disappears.

I had the same issue too. It ruined a song entirely. This first part was already flawless and after merging it together with the extended part it got more than one mini stutter as you said already after seconds and continued on in my case. I tried to use other extended version and even days later but turned out the same each time. It do not know what is causing it but the only way I got rid of it was to make a "Remastered" and this was sadly not the same but there was no other way getting rid of it.
