1. Can you provide a link for the robotic voice? Usually the issue with this is due to the genre being used or a problem with the style prompt when defining the vocal (if it was done)

Can't share work in progress. It is literally ALL songs are robotic. The key point is not that I'm a noob, and know what I'm doing. Like redirectling and blame customers instead of deva fault and mess (and not for the first time). Before I have 9/10 gereration great, in the beginning of May, god bless that used all credits in advance, 10,000..... now from last 50 songs I have 0 (ZERO) at useful quality, everything is bad. Other people noticed too....

So, 90% from 2000 previous generations were great, and now 0% from 50 is kind of showing itself.

People typically attribute bad RNG to stealth updates, which as you pointed out, does not happen to fully released models as they are kept frozen (confirmed to me by a dev)

The beta model (I.e. 4.5 currently) does have stealth updates applied time to time

Usually, as I mentioned, typically the issue lays in the prompts. As in one of the points I linked to earlier, defining a specific subgenre and describing the vocals to what you want leads to better outputs as you narrow down the pattern pool

Because the thing with AI is that they have large RNG (due to various learned patterns) which we cannot control in Suno due to a lack of seed controls

With these 50 generations, did you try making small adjustments after each iteration, or did you literally just use the same prompt/lyrics for all 50 of them?

Have you completely changed up and tested a totally generic prompt(s) and a few lyrics to see if the same sound. My sounds change up every few or couple of outputs. It can't be system related if a majority of our gens are sounding fine and all of yours are "robotic "

Some genres combinations DO conflict and just never work.

That's the point. Make bata1, beta2, beta3 and then merge final model. It's like in Jan a whole website, thousands of people, were affected by "shimmer" from the first generation, in every single song. While in Dec 24 everything was great. At 1st April they broke personas. Etc. This is not right.

Regarding new generations, it's so obvious. As I said I opened previous and current and it's HUGE difference.** While I'm using the same exact style and same lyrics (regarding style).** If before almost all were really great, now all from 50 is garbage. Kind of interesting coinsidence 0/50....

And regarding that devs not reading people feedback, or someone from the company - rediculous. Kind of modern practice. I can in this case open my own "Suno community" channel and it will be the same. Most frustrating, that WE ARE CUSTOMERS, I'm bought full year max subscription as no-brainer, paid for one, and now someone change on the fly, no warning, no notices. Just silent drop. And to figures out we all need waste our time, burning paid credits, to understand is it broken, is it fixes.... Sick. That supposed to be not like that.

If the generation is consistently unsatisfactory, you should try changing the style/lyrics slightly in accordance with the specific issue. Robotic voice, change how you're describing the vocals and try again. Otherwise you are going to get similarly-unsatisfactory generations

I hear sometimes weird things can happen if you accidentally used sign up rather than sign in.

If you confirmed that your account is indeed being linked to a brand new profile, verify with your browser (using incognito) and see if that also logs into the wrong account.

If it is the same account, contact billing (type /billing for details)

If system is broken, but working well before it is nothing to help with. System (model) should be fixed. It's like you have some electronic burned, and "support" asking you, "did you plug it to the outlet?" and "did you try to turn on power button", or "try to reboot" on obvously fried system.

I mean in general the v4 feedback section was just where any rants and complaints about anything to do with Suno got posted. From what I remember, there were often threads complaining about v3.5, billing issues, other account-related issues, suggestions for new features, and the occasional thread where someone was just trying to promote their music. The complaint threads were mostly users agreeing with each other about how bad something was, the occasional disagreement or lengthy discussion which didn't really lead anywhere... It just seemed a mess to me whenever I looked in there.

They clearly do want feedback hence why the form exists. Probably best to fill it in when you feel something is noticeably worse or noticeably better so that they know when it's bad and when it's good.

Audio uploads containing vocals are allowed, however you cannot publish those clips or anything based on them on the Suno website (and you cannot make personas from them.) You can still use them to extend or cover though, and put those songs in playlists, share the links directly with other people, etc.

Personas cannot be made from uploads (there's a bug where it displays the wrong message about subscribing instead of saying that it isn't supported.) They're for reusing the voice from a previously-generated song.

Hi! I'm a paying user and I noticed that V4.5 beta was working really well in the early days, but now it's generating very poor songs - very distorted melody lines, the sound is cheesy, and the mix is completely off sometimes.

I can't believe how well it generated in the beginning and now it's the complete opposite. There's hardly any difference between 4.0 and 4.5.

I wasted several credits on completely unusable songs. What's going on?

Its kind of a bottom line to say Suno will always be random if its to maintain a generative quality. So its understood to get a few campy tunes along with some great ones. That said, if even when you change up to test a few off-the-path prompts and ALL results still seem to have quickly turned from the initial impression, then its hard to say what's going on.

So far, 4.5 is rolling along for me in my specific genres of both my folks, rock, pop, house, storyteller, styles. But I also test for metal and whatever avante guard style a user might throw at me. The only difference is that I have lots of 4.0 personas , so last month I was making songs with some authentic sound vocals.

Without some personas under my belt for 4.5, I'll naturally assume I'm at lease getting that cheesy vocal. As for the mix and instrumentation, the distorted melody lines and such, I've only gotten that when trying to remaster an older 3.5 or 4.0 song, which isn't always compatible and gives results similar to what you mentioned. That would apply to trying to remix anyone else's songs that aren't initially original 4.5 s.

I need also be reminded sometimes that some people love the cheesy songs and can't get enough of them. 😄

@still sand That's probably a common error we make on all apps that have monthly or yearly plans. Its everywhere like that these days. So speaking with billing is the only means of getting that properly adjusted. The monthly plan is $10 by the way. The $8 a month, as you would see, notes that that is billed out for an annual subscription.

There is an auto-response just to say you're in queue, and then we wait for a real person to contact us. Having initially given as much details in the first email hopefully will help.

I dont think Suno tracks are capable of that at this point. The model is designed to start and end whole songs... you may be able to create something loopable with an extend from a track, but I dont think you can just create a loop in Sunos current setup.

Suno doesnt have any vocal preset functionality. You can upload a sample of your voice singing something, and you can extend off of it, which "may" replicate your voice into the rest of the track, but you will NOT be able to make the track public.

I'm seeing fade now as just a line with no indication of the graduation. And as you say, sometimes I don't hear a fade, as in maybe fading over 30 seconds or so. I liked the visual slider box before, but the single line is fine -- does the same thing -- but doesn't show the graduation, so its listen, move, listen, move ,listen ,move, until it sounds right. The shaded graduation is preferable.

Regarding "broken vocals" from the 4.5 remix "update", yesterday evening I got.... GOOD success rate from 4.5, I assume might they again changed (FIXED) something under the hood silently. What I don't like is that everything going on without communication, hiddenly. After the remix update it was 0/30 good songs, yesterday it was 8/10 good. (so I do not think that it coincidence, or extreme bad luck with 0/30 bad in a row)

And for some who tell that v4 is bad, I disagree, at least in whole March it was ideal (in April they broke it again, by overwriting, but duct-taped later). A assume very depends on genre.

Stuff in [square brackets] tends to be ignored but no guarantee of anything. I'd just use "Edit Lyrics" afterward to add comments/notes since that doesn't affect the song (but be cautious of that when using remaster afterward because it might matter then)

I've always done the same for duets, ensembles and casts, whenever I get a good output but a gender is changed, that which is, replace verses or lines until I get the gender wanted.

Suno tends to use anything in the Lyrics section as an operator, [Squared] brackets are the main ones, so anything in them will be attempted to be used to guide how the music or vocals render. However, if theres too much in a bracket, or if Suno doesnt know what to do with what it sees, it may either ignore it, or try to halucinate what it thinks the genre/style calls for. Best to just add your notes afterward when editing the song details and keep any notes out of rendering operations.

If you've completed the song and just want to put in a prologue or just personal notes, then of course, it won't change anything. And I've been surprised when I might , after that, run a remaster (such as if theres an update) and it ignored the extra notes. But not a guarantee on that.

I think your expectation is high.
So you uploaded your song, I assume with vocals as you specified... then you probably did a Cover on it? or Extend?
Cover would retain the melody better than Extend, but as far as vocal, specifically duet style like you wanted would be a challenge to generate.
It's possible but it'd take a lot of credits and patience to achieve what you wanted; sometimes one might have to use Replace tool to replace the unwanted voice.
It's not going to be a easy one click solution and making duet requires a special process and prepare to spend many credits 🙂

Public domain songs fall into this policy.

And yes, I've tried changing the persona name, image, description and the song I want to create the persona from doesn't have a persona and yes, it has vocals.

And I really like some of them, regardless of the quality of version 3.5. Hello, I am new at Suno, and I have a problem with using Replace Section tool. I have been trying to fix a tiny section of a song that sounds a bit glitchy. And I chose that section of the song and attempted to generate a smoother version of that section, but it ends up creating like 2 minutes and 4 seconds of some hallucinated snippet instead of another smoother tiny section of the song. It happened more than 20 times in a row and I don't know how to fix it. Is there something I am doing wrong? Thank you!

There are a few things to check:

• are the lyrics in sync with the audio and properly marked in the audio waveform in the editor?
• are you changing the lyric or just want to regen the section - if former, make sure "Manual Lyrics replacement" is selected, if the latter, leave it off.
• Is keep duration ON ??

The lyrics are in sync with the audio and is 'properly marked' mean each each stanza (verses, chorus, etc.) is all properly set in the waveform, then yes. I just want to regen the section. And what is the duration ON?

The separation will likely have some overbleeds, vocals into instruments, instrumental into vocal.

I guess one issue is the instrumental is as far as you get for tracking out separate instruments, that's not available. So, the Get Stems, is better for just adding new lyrics or a persona to only the instrumental track

The library of sounds that SUNO has is amazing. And the quality and quickness of the conversions are incredible. I would like to have more control of the chamges, but not sure yet on how to accomplish that. One thing I thought of is downloading the simplest version of of the song and then adding the instrumentation that I want, and then re-uploading it again. Seems like there should be a better way.

To the team, I have four requests, ranging from minor to major as a user who's spent over $100 on Suno in the last year...

1. A way to reverse sorting order so songs generate from old to new, top to bottom, that way new songs generate at the bottom instead of at the top.
2. When a song does not have a title, IF you have auto-generated lyrics it will also generate a title. I would like that functionality to work for instrumentals too. It should always pick a random title for each pair of songs if no title is listed.
3. Please allow us to write more words in the Auto lyrics to prompt with. Why only 200 characters? It's so limiting. I'd like to be able to actually write a good-sized descriptive prompt for the lyric engine, not a tiny little blurb.
4. Not so minor: Please update the phone app! It's way out of date. Have you guys used it recently? It's missing a bunch of key desktop features, the prompts erase themselves after each gen, and it's very very clunky to use overall.

In some ways we have to change our way of thinking. Suno does things as a whole, so its not yet any easy task to overlay one sound over another. Any change must re analyze everything, and produce a new generative (best probable and random result) output, integrating whatever was added into it.

Right. I have one demo I added where SUNO changed the chord pattern under the break. It kept my lead guitar and other instruments, but went into a subtle chord pattern on piano that sounds wonderful. Market wise, the slower one takes to create a song, the "longer" likely the subscription will be continued. So keeping a moderate return of a song to the investment of the users time and money means a better margin for Suno while still capturing the user to want to continue.

I dont remember seeing any space limitations in Suno's terms of service.. I dont know if they currently have a storage limit, many people have dozens or hundreds of pages of tracks they have generated. I would suggest though, for your own mental health, try and organize your songs and dont keep anything you dont really want,. and every week clean out your trashcan folder. I recently deleted 12 pages of gens I had trashed over the last couple weeks.

4.5 requires more effort for extends.. you have to give it something to work with. If yo ujust hit the end of teh track and tell it to extend, you will get 2-6 seconds fails.

Doesn't always work as the AI does typically try to end when it thinks it reached a good end point, but you can always extend your project.

Pretty sure they each use their own model or a corresponding one for cover (v3.5, v4, v4.5) rather than all the same one, which is why you can select from the drop-down on the Create panel when making a cover. Don't know if v4 and v4.5 have a variant of the base model like v3.5 seemed to (given that v3.5 didn't launch with Cover as a feature that's likely why that one's special.)

It's tricky with the newer models as it seems like there's another step involved when generating. I encountered a bug a while back where I managed to do something in the middle of a generation that hadn't finished, which gave me a half-baked clip which sounded closer to v3.5 in overall quality. So if we're not hearing the "raw" output from the newer models but we are hearing that for v3.5 it becomes a lot more complicated to figure out.

Its mainly due to the RNG aspect of the model. I will have days where I get exactly what I want in one or a few gens, then there will be days where I fight the model doing 50 or 60 gens and then giving up frustrated. Its really hit or miss with AI Generative outputs. I've also seen a pattern now of having more trouble with this when the system is under heavier load, like on the weekends or holidays where a lot more people are all using Suno. There may be other factors at play, but that has been my observation. 4.5 is still a beta model, I'm sure they will address many of the problems we have had, we just dont know when.

Possibly something else changed around the same time as v4.5 release... But it would be something triggered by the browser that the server isn't liking. There may have been rate-limiting that got added to something that wasn't there before. It makes no sense for this to be triggered simply by clicking one thing, and there'd be a lot more complaints about this if it were more widespread - hence why I think it's something your browser is doing (rather than something you're manually doing or something going wrong on Suno's side.)

If the server gets overloaded then stuff just takes longer to generate and eventually it ends up with a banner at the bottom of the page saying that generations are disabled for free users, stuff like that.

The only other thing would be if something else is using your Suno account, though I'm just guessing at this point. As you have a paid account you could try making a free account and see if that also has the same problem, to see if it's an account-specific thing.

. . . and the "too many requests" was also a thing before 4.5 I think not so much for model versions but from the increase in security measures which are onging. One assumption was there were still buffer requests or information saved of outputs from when the ato-moderator had been analyzing previous content. Common when an output is blocked or just never shows up. So, as if its thinks its still analyzing more that one thing and cant process. The normal close browers, clear caches, and even log out and log back in has been helpful.

The idea is to try dissociating the vocals from the instrumental/genre so it can apply just the vocals to any other generation without getting confused by the instruments, and then it should (hopefully) add in the instruments normally and accordingly

And prevent it from just matching one thing and not the other

With Persona, keep in mind that they are "not" vocal presets, Suno currently does not have that functionality.. Persona are mainly used as influencers that are meant to give a user the same style outputs that tend to sound like a consistent band. Sometimes you will get the same vocalist but its a 50/50.

Persona creators have found that just using a vocal stem from a song is a more consistent way to get the vocalist from that persona, but its still not 100%.

There have been SSO login issues over the last couple months, Discord has been a more egregious offender. You can try 2 different methods to fix this with Discord login.

1. Update your Discord password, log out and back into discord, then try logging into Suno again through Discord.

Just for compare, I've used the same persona for two artists on two 12 song albums. One country pop, one femme folk. Femme folk in finished under 4.O, Country pop under 4.5 . No bug issues.

4.5 has alter my voice for one of the duos I had before in the Femme Folk album, but the 4.5 is consistent in its being a "new" voicing.

I'd say we have to assume there's are other factors , even such as the lyrics which may alter a personas sound. So it could be 4.5 means of prioritizing lyrics more into the inflections, quality and sound of the personas.

Is it only me or has the 4.5 version does it even worse too work on a song in a DAW. Tried it several times, but the stems and songs just feel off. In the version 4 I at least could layer kicks and snares etc without feeling it out of sync. Frustrating. Getting the cpm from fadr, since suno do not provide any such information. Also the stems seems out of sync from the full song. I also noticed that the stem separation did get a lot worse in version 4.5. Just have too give up too be creative and just take the suno songs as it is. Maybe that is what they want.

Stem separation has always been not good in Suno. They are working on a new/better stem separator but we dont know when that will be. I use Stemroller on my PC for my stems, outside Suno.

1. Update your Discord password, log out and back into discord, then try logging into Suno again through Discord.

About separating vocal stems I have given that up long time ago. The worlds best vocal remover cant do it usable in a mix. In the current state I have accepted having to improve the already finished song in one way or another is the way too go.

Which remix function were you trying to use? I cannot tell if it is Cover or Extend based on the comment.

There is no direct attempt or means to emulate an artist, no. It is even more likely to program in filter to avoid any similarities, as you mentioned in regards to not stepping on copyrights.

Yes. You're right. But no matter at this point, Suno can not distinguish ones character voice from another. If it should happen to emulate your voice on its own whim, that's good for you. You can certain use it if you own the song, but we can NOT make a persona of an uploaded voice, so that makes it difficult to easily keep cloning that same voice onto other songs. Better at this time to just do that off-site with third party software/apps.

Hi I have a question. Generated a song, tried to edit it, but it has an ''intro'' labeled green which does not show up in the lyrics, thus making me seemingly unable to edit it. How does this work?

Preludes/intros that Suno creates typically are green i think, yes.

In Replace mode, you could try to click near left of the first letter of the lyrics and drag backwards to see if any of the spaces highlight. That space would be the the few seconds reserved for the intro.

But its hard to really prompt well in Replace mode, though you do have a styles box and can attempt prompts in the "lyrics replace" section.

Are you not able to drag a box over the waveform at the bottom over that section? It may be less that 3 seconds long and thus prevent you from dragging over.

Even just click the first word in the lyrics might the create a white box in the waveform which you can then click "Select" to attempt to make changes.

So when I click on the very beginning of the lyrics, it starts where it highlights on the picture in the intro section in the middle of a sentence, this sentence is not in the lyrics tab. The actual lyrics starts in the middle of the highlighted box

The white line on the left of the box is where the unwritten lyrics starts, and the blue line is where the written lyrics starts

Yes. That's a misalignment. Have you checked the alignment. And with respect, that may be so buggy it won't align anyway. But have you, at minimum listened to the song once through and watch where it highlights the lyrics as it plays, karaoke style highlights, to see if its just not showing text for some of your lines or seems off?

And it it all looks good, or you can't tell, at least click to generate the alignment and try again with Replace.

I did listen through it, everything else is as intended. The karaoke style works too, its just that small section. And the intro also happens to be the only thing that needs editing 🤣

I have also tried to remaster the song in another version to see if that would change anything or add the lyrics, but it just produces the exact mistake

Is this the first edit you ever tried? have you done one edit before on this particular clip?
I noticed in my experience, after first edit, sometimes... the tool was unable to align again.
A few times, making a new copy by full crop... would reset the tool and it was aligned again... but not guaranteed either.

Go back and run a cover of your song, blank styles, but add a "Mmmm" or "yea" or. "Oooo" before the lyrics as an intro insert. Bring that back under edit UI and see where it lands as far as an intro?

No it was actually a fresh one, I didn't edit anything about it before. It made it very close to what I had in mind, except the one thing I can't seem to change. I tried to use the same lyrics and styles to just rewrite it and hope to get it as close as possible but it just makes something completely different, unfortunately

The intro part did not appear in the lyrics section (or any part that can be edited) but did contain lyrics, unfortunately the only lyrics in the song that I wanted to change.
No matter what I tried, I couldn't get the lyrics to show up.
So what I did, was cover the song and add [intro] above [verse] (so a new start of the song) and just wrote the sentence I wanted to change under the start of [verse], it ended up removing the bad line from the intro and aligned the start of the song again

Si el chorus creado es melodia mas voz, el segundo chorus es melodia sin voz y el tercer chorus antes de la explosion instrumental es voz sin melodía. ¿Existe alguna forma que la melodía y la voz queden unidas? ¿O es que para suno la melodía es la voz y no puede hacer ambas al mismo tiempo?
