Clicking Edit and then it opens the edition screen. In this screen, I choose Extend.

You need to set a point in the song to extend from, and in the left side put lyrics or tags there in the Lyric window, for how you want it extended. Just leaving it blank Suno doesnt know what you want.

However, thats how it usually works.. I am testing it right now and the editor extend function is not actually extending.

If the super short extends work for their tiny duration it may be that the change in where the song was to where you want to get it to is tricky for the model and generating successive tiny portions can resolve and provide much longer extends after

Thanks. Just tested and got 5 or 6 second extensions, with one 58 second long one. All get cut off early so something weird with that. Have forwarded this example on to see if the devs can figure out what might be causing that.

STEMS are always a bit messy, with every STEM splitter. I have the best experience using Stemroller outside of Suno. Other folks use otyher splitters, but almost all agree Suno's is not good at all.

Such technology already exists, you will want to look into "Vocal Cloning" or "Vocal Swapping" services, where you can replace the singer Suno has made with your own voice. Well, any voice profile you have, but impersonation or use of other voices without the originator's permission can get you into big legal trouble.
Search Google for "RVC Models" to generate your own vocal profile to use as the singer, like #💡┃suggestions-web message
(You should search for some YouTube reviews about that, several more services and information out there)

you can upload your voice, crop, and make persona

and that could give you the best of what's available

I figured when I upload a custom voice it doesn't allow me to create a persona I don't know why. I am a bit puzzled with how the custom voices work. At least if there was a way that I created two songs with one male and female voices. I liked those voices. So I want to only use those voices in my songs. I thought I could create two personas one for male and another for female. So to test it, I put in a different lyrics and generate, it keeps the voices as it is but strange enough, it doesn't take the new lyrics. I am super puzzled, any ideas?

AIs gonna AI. Some of my English gens had mispronoused words too (and sometimes gets fixed it in a followup generation, only to mess up later).
Of course, if it keeps failing tompronounce certain things, you will want to phonetically spell it out, though even that can be a challenge too...

The personas build a sonic character similar to their source reference. By the way, how I told you to crop, that's how you turn an upload into a persona. give it one stage of edits. This can guide the voice but also increases the probability of reuse of original song elements.

Uploaded audios with detected vocals are not only barred from becoming public but also have personas blocked from being used on them. Most of it stems to the fact that many people will abuse the function to impersonate others or use someone's vocals without permission

Yes and No, I wasn't able to consistently make Suno detect my custom voice that's the primary solution I am looking for to have a consistent way so Suno can consistently detect my uploaded voice. For Personas, yes you can never create a persona from a song with custom voice

Let me guess, it happens at like 1:30 or so later? That's degradation for you and a reason for the hard length limit. Going past the max length apparently had a much higher degradation rate according to the devs.

One thing I found that helped me severely reduce degradation is specifying the specific subgenre I wanted. Likely because the learning pool is much smaller so the AI is not making a larger variation as it would when using a broad genre.

When extending, to maintain high quality, you will want to extend a bit before where you can hear the degradation step in.
(You can even try using terms like High Quality in your style prompt so it narrows the pool much further to sources that had that term defined)

If it is within the memory retention, you may be able to invoke with with the same song structure tag, provided that it is unique (orthwewisw ir may grab a random entry).

For example, extending in v3+ has two minutes reserved to study the Part 1 song from the end up to the reserved time. If the line you want is in the last two minutes from the Continue From time, it can potentially be recalled. If it was outside that zone, it is lost.

B. There is a serious issue with adding a persona — it simply freezes halfway through, and no, it’s not an internet problem.
C. To achieve the desired voice style, you have to go through dozens of attempts, and even then, it barely succeeds.
D. Even after managing to save a voice style, it doesn't actually maintain the style properly.
E. It's unbearable to pay for something that doesn't work, especially when there is no technical support from your side.

I’ve already spoken with my bank, and they confirmed there are no issues on their end — I have plenty of funds available and my card works for other online purchases without any problems.

Hi, I have been away from Suno for about 2 months so I apologize if this has already been discussed but is something going on with the extend feature? I am trying to extend some version 3.5 songs, which I have done plenty of times in the past with no problems, but now it seems like the vocal quality has gone completely down hill, it is almost like early v3 quality now. I am yet to try extending in v4 to see if it is a problem there too EDIT: V4 extend is working fine, so seems to be a V3.5 extend issue

Yes. That's helpful to at least see this is a very strange situation.

Basic accounts only get 50 credits a day. To have 300 showing as normal credits would only be possible for Pro or Premium accounts.

If by odd chance, someone logged into your account and mischievously canceled your account, to spend 7700 credits and leave you with 300 would likely show some extra songs in your Library or Trash or at the least , your History. NOT likely.

I dont know still if Basic or Premium is showing ACTIVE, but you say that somewhere it says you have a Basic account.

So the details are contradictory and left to assume its a glitch. You're right.

Billing has, as I understand responded much faster that the previous "10-days" respond time or so in March, but to respond over the weekend days is unlikely. And being a Monday, may take a little bit to catch up.

Yeah that’s smooth, good transitions. I have many songs I’m very happy with but I think we’re doing different things. My genre is mostly “EDM” which is a very broad category anyways I upload 30-60 second clips of synthesizers and drums and then extend from that. Suno will keep all of the main hook/chorus or part that I want to branch the song off of . It’s amazing it’s like cheating . All I have to do is produce 30-60 seconds of a song and suno finishes it and adds what I don’t have, good vocals. To polish the song I’ll download the wav and crop it, add an intro myself in DAW, sometimes get the stems to polish it. Anyways…it’s possible the issues Suno was having was strictly extended uploads because that’s all I do

You can also check the Filter tick boxes, make sure it's reset to show ALL songs in thr workspace. Example if you tick extensions, you only see extensions.

Since i started using Suno, i purchased a PREM ACCOUNT, only to find that after creating over 100 songsin my library, accound has been in good standing since i've had this account to log in and find that i only get 50 creadits like i'm a newbie not the total 10,000 and my entire library is gone. i've sent "SUNO", mad emails pretaining to this problem, its been 2 weeks, no response for them, just an automated text back like i'm a DROID, am i the only one who has hab this problem and if not how was it resolved?

Just throwing this out there.

We do often, including myself, mistakenly create a second account while logging in and out. We inadvertently create an account instead of signing into our account.

As you've just started, if within an hour of setting the account up, you've set up your user name, and at some point, logged out, then back into the other second "false" account, see your name wrong and re-setup your user name again, not realizing the switch and think you're good to go. Likely, then upgrading that one account to Premium before makings lots of songs and evetually logging out.

So now , no matter which account you log into , you see the same name.

Having logged out a while, and upon logging in again, inadvertently logged into the Basic "false" account, see 50 credits, etc. ?

Version 4 and personas are not available to Basic users. If only seeing v2, v3, v3.5 on the Create menu then that is odd. Unknown how that would occur, other than a glitch scenario.

If trying to make a persona and it's greyed out, that can happen in certain circumstances, but you'd still have the ability to create in v4.0.

Yeah wow, Suno really does work poorly on Safari. Maybe it's Next.js (which I think they're using) being really slow or poorly optimized. It works fine-ish on Firefox and Brave. It also eats up battery life like crazy.

I'm not necessarily suggesting they do a front-end UI rewrite but the direction of Next.js seems too hyperactive for me and it's hard to optimize React to work really well anyway.

thanks i mean i know what happened.. they somehow took the 9 days i had left of pro and applied that to my premier which in turn made it so my premier stopped when it should have been pro.. if i had known they didnt reset the billing cycle i would have just waited with the pro but i needed more credits, its the only reason i decided eh i'll just get a month now. and yeah didnt happen like that. Nothing official as far as I am aware, it is something Inadked a dev when I saw them live a few months back when the program was first stopped.
I believe there was a huge issue involving botting and hijacked accounts which caused it to be suspended, but that convo was a while back

Yes, that is what it appeared to happen. What should have happened, as you mentioned, is that the date ahoukd have been revised and I have not heard of this type of issue before except for one or two, so I wonder if something got changed in the back...

You could also talk to @steady kelp , the Community Manager. He may not be able to help you with it directly, as that is not in his department, but he may be able to get your email directed to the correct personnel.

Do be aware that he will be unable to help you jump the line but do ask him if you can get credited the missing amount due to that reset.

Billing should be able to check how many credits you had before the forced short renewal but do let Mike know the approx amount so he may be able to append a note (in case you forgot to ask for that - usually they do gift you the missing credits in this case but people may forget unless written)

When talking to Mike, treat it like an email. Send just one DM with all pertinent info. He will get to it when he has the chance, which may take a few days, and he has a queue system in place for it as well (I believe he will be quite busy this week too)

I would not trust AI that much to be honest, it can lie tonyou with confidence, so be critical with the output you get and make sure it makes sense.

I remember once asking what was a Sunoian and it said it was a region in Genshin Impact, which it wasn't but Sumeru is, and said it was a new region released during a specific version - which it was not because that was when Fountaine was introduced.

But, yeah, that AI results seems very accurate to the issue. Unfortunately, it will take a few days fornbilling to get back to you with the volume of email they get... and I have a feeling they are getting several emails about this particularl issue

I am having trouble extending my v3.5 songs (extending in v3.5). Every generation has terrible vocals now. I see a few details were missing in last nights convo, having not mentioned the jump from Basic to Pro first, then to Premium., and new details shedding light today.

So it appears
• They paid $10 for Pro account on March 26th [new information] and 2500 credits.
• THEN paid $30 on April 17th and immediately jumped to Premium (I don't believe prorated, as far as the SUBSCRIPTION period as they lost whatever credits at Pro level ) were charged the full $30, and stated they got 10,000 credits.
• However, on April 26th, after having used only about 2000 credits, their account "renewed" as if prorated on the ACCOUNT level, yet [according to user] dropped to "Basic" level with no access to tools for Pro or Premium and only showing about 300 credits.

I hypothesized that the account never went to and presently may not be Basic level, but on April 26th, it DID however, literally renewed the Subscription back to Pro as if it were the previous Pro subscription and never changed, and tallied his credits as if the 2000 they used while on Premium were deducted from the 2500 on the preceeding Pro account leaving them 300 credits. As they had paid, there were no further charges on April 26th, but may auto-charge May 17

So, the time stamps on Account are acting as if May 17th it will renew a charge at $30 and 10,000 again - but only for a period of 9 days-- as the Subscription dates is acting as it it will renew as a Pro account every 26th of the month and deduct whatever credits used from a starting point of 2500 (not 10,000) to continue as back to Pro.

Based on user, they DO say that they are restricted on tools and feels they has a Basic level, perhaps even saying so on their account. Making it even weirder to have a Basic account and yet 300 regular credits.

A long way to say definitely buggy, no matter how it's deduced.

When extending, it depends where you extend from, varying by a few seconds can make a difference.
For example, if you are extending at the end or very near it, the AI may be in the terminal mode because of how it studies the pattern and decided it is a good time to end the song.

The much more annoying mode is if you go even a minute back and it is in terminal mode. It is very rare but I had experienced that.
In that case, I cannot recall how I fixed that issue without making a new gen. I think I used[Break] [Instant switch to <genre>][<mood> <instrument name or 'instrumental'> interlude]or something along that line to force switch its pattern so it gets out of that mode

You can use upload audio to try to attempt getting Suno to use your voice. In the new UI, I believe it is under More Options > Add Audio in the create screen.

Unfortunately, Suno may not be as successful as you would like because the AI studies your vocal pattern but will very likely not replicate it.

If you want a very good replication, you will want to look onto "RVC Models" to make your own vocal profile. Then look into "Vocal swapping" or "Vocal cloning" services which can use the RVC models you generated to replace the vocals in the song.

There should be several web pages and YouTube videos about this. You can search my previous mentions about this as well for an example I linked before

Hmm, very strange. Does it sound like it is giving you default prompts that you would see in Simple mode?

If so, I had it before in the past where something glitches with the webpags, likely due to a cache issue. How I solved that was refresh the page then Toggle the mode back to Simple then back to Custom, and changed the model to an early model then back to the latest from the list, essentially renewing the variables.
If that fails, try deleting your cache - assuming if it is what I had talked about earlier and not misunderstanding the issue

Mind you, as far as I know, the vocals are more implicitly learned about gendered vocals rather than explicit supervised training which wouod explain the past ~60% successful rate for duets I had (well, successful in getting both genders, though half the time it swapped the vocal lines...).

You can do something like this:[Verse 2][Boy] I saw my gal in the kitchen ([Girl] mmhmm) So I told her to make me a sandwich ([Girl] Na haa)Text in parenthesis are used for backup vocals and usually applying the metatag within it worked for me in the past, so long as it was Simple.

You can hear this happen in my song at about 18 seconds and 35 sec for the background vocals. The first parenthesis was skipped but it was due to the flow of the song. I had other version where those lines were present.

Today I think I got my most powerful and emotional song since my start of using Suno. (14000+ songs passed my 'create button') only to have a bad audio quality. Mainly around the 3:20 mark. I tried all the solutions and approaches known to me. But no success.

I tried a couple of 'remasters'. It improved a little, little bit. (In the attachment the most improved remaster so far) but no where good enough to really consider this usable/releasable/sharable.
I have tried to extend from the moments before the bad sound. But i think even the start has some issues. And at the end of the song is the part that you feel the most and I do not want to lose that. Which happens with a 'extend'.
I tried to use the cover feature. And then use the same (and altered) prompts. But this didn't fully solved the sound quality issue. Also this turned down the songs performance a bit, loosing that kick the song has.

What are options to still try? Or ways you would solve this

Or fingers crossed there comes a "concert to v4.5" feature with the release of v4.5 very soon, which would fix this. 🤞🤞

Many "Student" users have noted a change in their status or use. Check your terms or agreement for details. It may be the offer or use was for a limited time or with conditions.

Or, of course, a glitch. We can't rule in or out either one at this point until someone notes they have a resolve.

But it does seem to be a bit of an increase in "Student tier" accounts user anecdotes of having what now seems a limited use account.

If wished then, you can only get that answer from Suno support or billing themselves.

That's a tough call. Certainly the dates and time of the exact renewal moment may vary within 12 hours, but is supposed to be the very same as when one signs up.

You have to decide to wait it out or NOT and see what happens in a couple of days. But check your accounts first for already pending charges. Banks have often noted pending charges up to a week before they post..... and Suno TOS does advise account changes be done at least 7 days in advance of a renewal date.

At a use of lots of credits, you could start with opera and see what sounds it gives, then add one prompt at a time. It's helped me at times.

And for what its worth, it seems the buzz that 4.5 is releasing soon (see Mike's update notice) but it should have a better means of NOT morphing one prompt by using another but rather intertwine the prompts to have an ensemble feel of separate genres? That's kind of my guess. So you may wish to go to another song and wait for an update.

Granted, the content auto-moderator may review audios at different stages and more than one time, if any issues with what it perceives as "not permitted."

@supple geyser It's good to keep as much "control" or simplified steps as possible, if there are errors to work out where the error is coming from.

Since "Linkin Park" is a bands name, Suno tend to look unfavorable to "in the style of....." type prompts, which helps it preserve and use a variety of genres without sounding like any artist in particular. It may simply shut down from that.

A line like, "I love it when i make you cry" can be seen as emotional abuse. Try without that as well.

While these may seem ludicrously moderate in impact, it may be enough to just have Suno squat and go no further.

You don't seem to be doing anything otherwise uncommon as to the process and steps. It should normally work the way you showed.

Always run an alignment of lyrics at the start at least or if you've made any changes.

Anyways, some potential solutions:

1. If you moved your song workshop, did you check the new workshop page of that entry if it was there?
2. Did you check your library? Workshops, which groups your songs, can be accessed through the create page but library should show all your songs.

• (Create page, by default, also hides disliked tracks by default- you can change through the filter icon)

3. Did you accidentally delete? You can see your (non-perm.) Deleted songs in the Trash Can by accessing it through the library in the top right corner (see red circle in the picture).

• You can restore songs from the trash can using the ... menu. BE CAREFUL NOT TO PERMANENT DELETE YOUR SONG FROM HERE

AIs have been about "prediction" since the surge of GPT 3.5 and that has barely changed in multiple years

but, we have found interesting ways to orientate that prediction using some human-introduced steps

first : we have found the "chain of thoughts" (COT) AIs

this led to the "extended thinking" we all know today in some basic LLM models

and nowadays, we have agentic AIs which not only have COT, but also are capable of tool usage

depending on how you would apply this to the Suno AI, dividing it's process (if that's even possible ,i'm not sure how the suno AI works) into multiple steps and using tools to help itself could be a huge boost

2/ The breakthrough of adding context to art

as proven by OpenAI's recent release of "4o Image Generation"

No. Not openly in writing are you permitted to take a Suno owned song and edit, cover, massage, remix, change into a Pro or Premium accounts song which you would own to monetize.

The suno song created in Free level are just that , Suno songs. As we being a Free member, Suno allows us to only create songs for Suno. We can use them on non-commercial sites or endeavors to promote for Suno by agreeing to say these songs are made by Suno.

That Suno right and Suno ownership of their product doesn't change if you use more tools in another tier subscription to alter the same Suno song created in Free. It's still Suno's song.

Having said that, you might talk to Suno specifically on those songs you'd like to transfer ownership over to you. SUNO certainly has a right to transfer, permit or license their product, if they choose.
Write Support if you have songs to discuss and negotiate.

Equally, it may be later that these terms themselves be changed to benefit Free members who upgrade, so keep an eye out. My Spidey sense is tingling. Who knows. 🤔

If you cannot get in contact with customer support (CS) for such scenarios in the sufficient manner of time, you should contact your financial institution (e.g. bank) that is being billed to and get them to cancel future transactions from that Service.

They may ask you why and if you do mention that you did try to get in touch with CS for X days, they usually go ahead with it (well, they rarely refuse it when you are insistent about it since they know they would lose you if they do not do so).

I know that Suno does put a pause in the subscription if the payment gets denied but I do not know if Stripe tries to resubmit when it gets bounced. Most online processors retries at least once in case there was a connection issue

Suno then grants Free users the opportunity to use the outputs in any non-commercial/non-monetizing manner and on non- commercial or non-monetizing platforms [not just "promise they wont monetize it" but moreso, NOT publish/post on monetizing sites entirely], provided they attribute the outputs as made by Suno.
