Your account has likely been incorrectly flagged as using a fake app, even though you are not. This can happen if your VPN provider is also being used by one of those fake services.

I mostly create orchestral sounds and V4 has been sounding like V3 or even V2 lately. Very compressed sound. All songs, from start to finish. Hope we'll get that clarity back. Does seem to matter which genre you're playing with. Orchestral stuff is much worse than for example pop.

Hi, currently when I create a song and then want to improve/reiterate the text, I would love to be able to keep the beat (the non vocal part) and just have the text updated. But currently I don't see a chance of doing that. It seems the vocals are all merged into the instrumental part and replacing or editing it will mess it up. Even when using a persona, it will create the same kind of instrumental which is great but it will mess up the text, likely because it plays the old text and the new one and warps the words like that. in these cases, stems and some manual work are best way to go forward. An example is: I manually change a lot of pronunciations, here is the step I follow:

1. Generate the song.
2. Get the stems.
3. From the original, crop only the section that I want the vocal needs to be fixed. Usually just get the verse, or the chorus all together.
4. Do the replace changes until I get the sound I want. It needs to be more or less closer to the original sound as we will use it to replace.
5. Create stem out of it. I only use the audio one.
6. I don't know how to use DAW yet, I use DaVince Resolve to create videos, so I just remove the wrong pronunciation from original fine, and just add the new one from cropped audio stem.

I do this for all wrong pronunciations, until I am satisfied with the song.

Without manual work, it is a lot of hit and tries. I have wasted a lot of credit in the past because usually during replace section, it would fix one word, then break another word.

Hello! what happened to the "extend" feature in the V4? it used to be easy to extend the song i needed in the v3.5 ... but now in the v4 it became confusing and not intuitive at all, i simply want to make the SAME song a bit longer keeping the same lyrics.. that used to work just fine with one click in th v3.5. how i should do that now?

Not sure what makes it confusing, the process itself is very straightforward... and remains the same process ever since.
What kind of issue are you having when extending? why is it not intuitive?
Extending only needs where to extend from, and the lyric for the new extension... everything else should remain the same from the original part.

How did you extend without giving a new lyric? what would be the lyric for the new part of the song?
Also, it doesn't create a new song... it create an extension part... then you choose which extension to merge into the song by Create > Get Whole Song... only then you will get a new song but longer

well, idk i have let sit the production for several months, and then this v4 came out, and i took the pro subsribtion to run a batch of new songs for further treatment , production & release.. the work flow is not the same any more. , going back to v3.5 is not a solution, because it requires stems separation and a deeper and longer treatment of the vocals especially because in some song, the voice sounds synthetic

Compare the amount of time you genned during the day vs night. Chances are you spent more time on night and you had more failures (e.g. due to tiredness and first time experimentation) which skewed your perception on the results

hey, i wanted to report a visual issue with album artwork.
when uploading square images (within a 9x16 frame) for tracks, the art looks squished on the preview thumbnails. but when i open the track, the image appears fine. i’m using a template that fits square art inside the required 9x16 portrait ratio, so technically it meets the requirements but the visual glitch in previews makes it look stretched. just flagging this in case it can be fixed.

Try adding 'short' to reduce the time the instrumental takes, that may help. E.g. [short instrumental intro], [intro][shirt instrumental], etc.

It could have been a bad RNG roll giving you a pure instrumental. It is rare but it does happen, some genres cause it to happen more frequently (e.g. Jazz), in which case, specifying a subgenre helps a lot to avoid that

I think the only difference you will face is that you will need to sub/refill credits via app if you have a current subscription started from it.

Editing a song - Please fix the issue with "Loading Song Structure" after editing, it doesn't display separate structures of the song (i.e. Intro, Verse, etc) it converts the full song into one structure based on the end of the structure (i.e. Fade End). This issue persist when you try to edit a song for the second time.

From my experience: Extends go a MAXIMUM of 2 minutes. As your whole song approaches 4 minutes, extend, same as covers and personas reach back through the output as a seed for match the vibe , instruments, and so on. Often this may result as being shorter extends as you go further in the song.

Lyrics may influence how the overall song is arranged and shorten or lengthen an extension.

Usually when I use a persona, it is on a different song/style, which works wonderfully.

If you are wondering what may be causing the scenario you experienced, my hypothesis is the following:

The AI studies the music initially, which can reserve typically up to a minute of the max output time, before looking at your input.
Since your new lyrics is very similar to what the persona was already based off of, the AI pattern was influenced by the initial analysis and determined they had a (very similar) pattern and selected the one it had already analyzed.

Mind you, that is conjecture as to why it was singing your old lyrics. You can test this hypothesis out by using a persona from a different song and see how that influences the output.

When the AI does not sing your input correctly (e.g. repeated verse, skipped lines), it is typically an issue of the song structure. If you sing to yourself what you had written to the rhythm, does it sound awkward?

I just took the song to edit and replaced that parts. It was giving me different part of the song, but once I chose shorter section of that chorus, not whole chorus, it finally worked right!

A major influence for the vocals would be the (sub)genre and the style prompts used. If you have trouble bringing a keyword present, I suggest repeating it so it has more weight #💬┃general-chat message

So if you had "female, female, female" or "female, woman, girl", that will increase the odds of getting a feminine vocals due to the skewed weights.

If you have a subscription, you can use exclude and do something similar with men 3x or it's variations. I would avoid adding the word "vocal" in the exclusion so it makes it broader

I'm guessing why it hasn't happened and one point is APP monthly renewals happen universally at the same time each day. So for anyone dated April 16th, that would be 8pm DST on the east coast time of the USA or oo:oo Zulu time which is in 8 hours. That's a possibility, unless you recall every month it's at 8pm your time. Then I don't know.

Okay, what I recommend doing is DMing @steady kelp . He is the community manager but he should be able to redirect your ticket to the appropriate personnel and this matter should be a quick and simple one to investigate on Suno's side.

Be sure, in a single DM, to provide:

1. A quick summary to the issue
2. Your Suno handle
3. Your email address which you sent the email from to billing
4. Any additional proof/evidence (e.g. bank statement showing deduction of the payment, transaction ID of the latest payment, etc.)

It may take a few days for him to reply back, since he is busy and his DM has a queue, but he will reach out back to you

I would also recommend copying the message link from a bit earlier and providing that to him as well so he can see what questions we have covered but you do not need to do this

But yesterday, with no warning, or explanation, I discovered I am no longer a paid pro member. They are asking me to sign up, as though I never did. I wrote to tech support but haven't received any assistance. A few days ago, Dani from Suno wrote to my phone app, telling me I should sign up. I wrote to her and told her I AM SIGNED UP, but I have been unsuccessful in creating on my phone app but that the computer Suno is working okay. I am guessing the problem might be the login info is different. I'm not great at remembering that stuff. However, I did pay for a year and now I have nothing and no songs to show for my hard work. Hi there, sorry to hear that issue.

1. Have you verified if the account you logged on the phone is the same as the one you purchased from? View your profile and see if the handles are the same.
2. Does your account via web still work fine and only the phone app is the issue?

If #1 shows a different profile: A common issue I had seen here is that many people clicked sign up instead of sign in which caused some issue in the phone app and potential relinking to a new account.
I believe one method to fix that would be to log out then back in, keeping in mind the option selected.

In the case of #2, I do not know if signing back in will help solve it but it doesn't hurt to try. I would let Dani know that exqct scenario (specifically staying it appears correctly on the website but not in the app and you verified that the profile was identical) and they may be able to help.

If #1 showed you are logged in the same account but both web & app shows zero credits:

• Ensure your bank did not block or reclaimed the payment. Very unlikely but you want to rule out as many possibilities as possible
• Provide Dani with the specific transaction ID and other IDs to your initial payment. Since you are annual, you should have only been charged one per year and they should be able to track down your payment with this information

This is all I can think of from the top of my head. If you will be emailing a new message, which starts a new thread, be sure to direct that to [e-mail]

As far as I am aware, Suno was not trained to use gendered metatags explicitly.
It is implicitly learned so it's success rate is low (I usually had a 60% success and, half that time, the genders gets swapped).

It is often much cheaper to do the gendered parts in each Part (via Extensions) and change the style prompt as it appears to have more weight in changing the vocal gender.

Alternatively, using external tools to change the pitch/vocals (e.g. vocal swap, RVC models) of the song and use an audio editor like Audacity to select which gender plays is another option (much easier to get your desired results as you can control the type of voice you want sung).

Not that Reddit is bad by itself, but I noticed that the referenced posts very often do not have links to prove the reliability of the output, showing only one link if even that. Many of those are more like a "trust me bro" post

I personally would have avoided the (parenthesis) as that is typically used for background vocals like when echoing certain words.

In my experience, the AI likes simple and direct commands, ideally with 3 sets of command and 3 metatags per paragraph. Mind you, that may not be the actual case, but it is something I have observed so treat that statement as an anecdote.

Yep, metatags are usually used with square brackets. The issue with sound effects is that Suno was not really made for that in mind so a few of them are implicitly learned.

Ah, I see. Unfortunately that creates a very difficult situation because Suno cannot verify your information. For example, what is to stop someone from claiming something similar but providing another user's handle?

I suppose you can ask them if they can give you a few characters of the first and/or last portion of the email address so it reminds you which one it is. Several companies often allows this, such as ap****23@***.***
After all, the best way to prove that it was actually you that paid for it, would be providing the correct transaction ID (or logging into the correct account)

Though it is odd that you do not keep track of that information, I know I am paranoid about forgetting my logins, especially the ones I pay for.
If that is something happens to you occasionally, I recommend using a Password Manager. I know of two popular ones are 1Password and BitWarden. I use BitWarden personally and had no issue with them

Okay, among the MANY variations I did, this one worked but I suspect it was just by random chance rather than what I did, because I was not able to reproduce the feat when replicated.

What I had done was predominantly naming the lines and having "duet orchestra" at the front (I suspected that some of the other keywords may have single-gendered vocals so I decided to use a known duet genre to influence both genders to come out)

Honestly, it would have been much easier making the second half Extended, with each part having their own gender vocals in the style prompt

this might sound crazy and is a super late reply. But next time you try to make a cover with new lyrics try it like this:
Make sure the first line is different
Put your new lyrics
At the end put a single line from the old lyrics

You'd probably want to do an extend, and enter your new lyrics there.

I'd probably start my extend just after the last verse in the already-rendered part of your song - or if that's too short (or the lyrics are already cut off), then start it at the beginning of that verse and include that verse's lyrics in your extend.

I found that trying to extend right from the end of the song causes it to do weird stuff.

I made a song where there are mentions of soda cans (literally ‘soda can’, without any branding) and the image generator made two images that show registered trademarks.

Usually I see that issue with a Chromium browser (e.g. Chrome). Using another browser like Firefox will make the download the output
(I suspect there is some sort of safety limitation present such as how the data being collected for downloading [I am assuming Suno does a blob download] may be above the internal size limit allowed)

I'm catching up on everything, so you might have already addressed this. But I think Athena's question was if it's possible to remove the beginning of the song and keep only the extension. You can use "Remove Section" for that. Crop only lets you trim off the end of the song, at least last time I used it - it wouldn't let me adjust the start range.

In the past year, I've talked to several members who, because of their country and the issues of international banking systems (especially Malaysia, Vietnam, China and Russia) have had delays waiting for payment to make it past the security measures and finally posted into accounts. It seems, my guess, to be about 3 days from those member who say they got their credits in an update.

Member will get emails directly from Suno that a payment was received. At that time, normally the credits are shortly thereafter. From my living on the east coast of USA, my receipt emails from sfripe/Suno have been from 2 am to 6pm on my renewal day.

Even if Suno received payment at 3pm on one day, it still won't process until midnight and post the next day.

So thats something to consider, based on where you live.

So, get the full song, then use Remove Section on it.

I paid for a Pro Plan subscription on April 9, 2024, which expires on April 9, 2025.
I paid for the next year's subscription when it was about to expire on March 31, 2025, but the next year is the Premier Plan
After successful payment on March 31st, it was used normally until April 9th.
After last year's subscription expired on April 9th, the new subscription also expired.

I think this is a bug in the technical department.

Again, I agree, 10 days is too long, yet keep in mind there will always be a slight delay in first time purchases from an somewhat unknown source and as most government and banking policies go, new sources are always reviewed for issues of fraud and ID theft.
