Bpm has never been controllable from everything I know. Not since 3.5 at least. I don't have experience prior. Many attempts are made with many different instructions and tags but nothing consistent. I always try to one shot songs for fun, but if I wanted a specific BPM I would use a DAW and start the song or download the song and set it to the BPM you want and upload the song back then extend.

I used to use Mary Had a Little Lamb poem as test lyrics when helping solve issue. But that was weeks ago. Now it is protected poetry as well, which is fine. I hadn't thought of it in that way, so I've adjusted.

The main priority is to keep ALL known wordings and phrases from being the initial content. This keeps the slate clean for a better chance that only AI-created or original user-created lyrics are being trained on. That seems simple enough.

In introspection, why would one wish to use words and phrases that aren't their own anyway?

Try to make a copy of the song with a crop and after that you might be able to use the replace again to the copy.

For me it works, if Suno recognizes the song structure so that the structure with different colors is visible in the bar in the bottom of the screen.

If the bar has only one color, the structure is unknown and for me replace always fails.

For each (cropped) copy I can use replace once, in case of several replacents to same song, I have to create another copy to be able to continue replacing

This happens because something is borked between the account connector and their account DB. In the past I have had better luck not using Remaster in chorus (musicals, rock operas) groups and ensemble musicals. Ensemble groups (and live audiences) seem to sound more authentic and "separated" voices when not remastered.

Honestly, I haven't recently tested much to know if anything has improved.

I am not sure the cause of the internal error, you may need to reach out to [e-mail] about that, with details of how that happens.

I know that "too many clips" happens when the generation counter gets stuck. Usually I see it in cases where people tried to use copyright lyrics, or when the server is being very slow.
Usually it subtracts from the counter when your gen is done but the fail-safe function does reset it after a few minutes from your average generation time. I think the longest I had seen was 10~15 min but the server was really baggy at that time

Remastering has often changed voices (usually sightly but enough to make it annoying) over the past year for me, but in your time using Suno that may not have been the case.

i've been using suno since october and i remember how version 3.5 was (i have songs in it) - and what remastering to version 4 gave.
i can 100% say that in the last few days - probably since Tuesday - something has changed dramatically for the worse. i don't have absolute hearing, but it's terrible.
i'm finishing my song now and i see what it was on Monday and what level it's doing now extend, it's like 3.5.
Of course the version is 4, as always.

Now my friends musicians for whom I wrote the demo version write to me - and tell me to return it to the way it was on Monday :(

but now it is at the level of 3.5 (I didn't catch it before)

I've often used remastering version 4 like this:
if I need a minus track, I've done Get Stems - separates suno horribly. Vocalremover with only wav input does much better. Suno has sources, but... But then, if you do remastering on the music - it turns out very very close to the source with music and voice music. Then you could overlay text and so on. I did a lot of iterations and the quality did not decrease. But when there was 3.5 version I immediately realized that the more iterations the worse. As soon as they launched version 4 - it's just wow! I didn't think it was possible to mess it up like that :(

Hello guys, How can I BLOCK someone in SUNO? One guy RE-USED my prompts and turned my Beautiful songs into "Toilet matter" songs, very offensive. He took 2 at first, then another 2, then more. Latest he took, my new song, "I forgot to turn on my GPS" its a nice song. How can I block him please? I sent email to SUPPORT, very slow. No action. This ability for other people to "RE-USE" our prompts is a DISASTER in these types of situations. I am female, he has been harrassing me by "LIKING" my "Queen is Waking Up" song. I am @helicopter-girl He did this at least 2x yesterday - to tell me, that he has been stealing another song.

He also took my friend's song and turned it into "Toilet" song. This guy is a creep. Please allow us to BLOCK anyone like that. It seems like SUNO Support is too busy. I saw some guy who couldn't get into his account (paid customer) for 3 months. I cannot wait 3 months for this to STOP.

As far as I know, you can only block comments and at the moment there is no way to completely block another Suno user on the website/app.

That's another fault I found. I made some PRIVATE songs for a friend. As soon as it started, I noticed other views, but I had just watching it. I believe when new songs are created, it automatically goes to SUNO's discovery Home page. Later I found over 80 views. When I asked my friend, he said he had NOT shared with anyone. He even checked his computers from 3 different locations/countries. It still showed no increase of views.

One song, I made for my OWN use, I quickly downloaded to my PC, then sent it to TRASH and deleted it. This is also a flaw with SUNO. No privacy.

I just noticed another issue with my suno Pro Plan subscription. When I paid, the username on my account changed to something like “technical” with some extra letters, which isn’t my actual username. Sounds as if , at some point, you may have inadvertently "Created" a new account instead of "Signing into" your actual account. Which may be why you see only 50 credits on a new Basic subscription.

I can't download sona songs, people can't open links and listen to a song but they can read the lyrics, I can't change a song, and there aren't any links that I can click on in the drop down boxes that allow me to do all of the cool things that I see people doing on YouTube.

OK. That should not hurt anything, but now it will be tough to discern what the status of your account is, i think, by just these small tests of elimination.

But yes, with that oddly seeming to log into someone else account, it could be just a weird glitch. Personally, I glitched into another account last year when Suno was beginning. Saw the song were not mine and logged out.

Would have to create on the web browser or their official apps (iOS or android) Your account could be flaggged for using a vpn. There’s a form that will help fix your flagged account pertaining to using VPNs but someone with access would need to give it to you though.

Well, to move this forward a bit: when you cancel down to Basic you keep any extra credits but lose any pro account credits ONCE your renewal date comes around.

If you are in Basic mode and cancel AGAIN, this will still keep extra credits but wipe out any other credits immediately and keep you at Basic.

If you upgrade, you will have 0 daily credits until your renewal date.

So, you have 50 credits when you logged back into your personal account. This again seems like waiting a day to see if the payment posts first. However, since you've now canceled, I'm stumped to know what this will do, mate.

At this point it's still waiting a day, perhaps to see if you go to Basic w/50 credits, Basic w/2500 credits, or Pro w/2500 credits and a cancel date of May 4th.

Then contacting [e-mail] as well as mention the weird bug to https://discord.com/channels/1069381916492562582/1258072243963957288. With details that it contained a whole Library of songs which were not your.

You can safely "cancel" an account anytime up to about a week before renewal, if that helps next time. I hope it resolves. Post back with @polar spade to me so I know what the resolve was.

Suno detected some suspicious activities on your account and flagged it. Often, VPN uses or 3rd party API that claimed to work with Suno or even too many failed Capchas ..
There's a form some where on this chat your can fill and wait for Suno to unflag your account. Search for Fake Apps on this channel to find the form.

If you need, Suno can help to merge accounts, such as one thats lost and a new one purchased, but remember, it's best that both be the same level subscription. Otherwise you'd best note which songs are Basic-made before any merging.

Of course, thats good idea to at least keep up with the date you went Pro, so anything dated before that you know are Basic files.

I believe Suno has updated their system so that you must click Generate Video first (saves some resources by not doing it all the time after generation is done and allows you to edit the title + cover picture + lyrics changes first rather than resorting to Regenerate for the initial changes)

Just use it like usual: New picture, correct text, generate video. Or if you just wanna share it simply generate the video and after that share it. Hello all. Is there any reason using a persona would cut off a song early? I have a custom lyrics song that I generated and really like. I wanted to adjust the lyrics in multiple sections and editing nor generating with new lyrics seemed to get the same tone. So I created a persona from the original and it does perfectly match the tone and style of the original but always stops the song at 03:16 so doesn't actually incorporate the full changes or even end the song (the original is 4 minutes exactly)

If i understand it correct, persona needs some context from the input and that is reduced from the overall time. that leads to shorter tracks.

i think if you keep the persona input track below a minute you should get longer songs again (but thats just a theory ... a SUNO theory :D)

The ending of the song was actually my favourite bit so extending anywhere would overwrite that section. There is essentially just over a minute starting around the 2:00 ish mark where I wanted to change the lyrics to improve the flow. But editing it totally lost the original tone

Theory's are worth testing 🙂 So given the persona was created from a 4 minute generated song and only generates 3:16 currently. To test your theory should I persona from the persona then from the persona etc until getting down to 1 minute :p?

Most any hack will involve rolling the dice on sacrificing some bit of the motif or vibe or exact melody you got before. But I try everything and are often please eith finding something better than what I had.

i usually use persona different... i cut out a part of a song where the voice is exactly like i want it... not long ... maybe 30 to 60 seconds... then i use this short thing to make my personas and build from there.

if i want a better "replica" i use cover and describe the voice of the original really well. ... but cover has the same time thing going on as persona... keep that in mind.

The initial request was to keep 100% of what you have, just with changes. Sounds like a few relationships I've had.

So Suno and any AI generatives have that need to "start over" if making any changes/adds. So making a persona on a shorter cropped version will get you closer to a 4 minute piece, but still widens the odds this will start varying from the intended results you want. At best, we find a balance.

Certainly don't give up on just extending what you've got as well, remembering to paste in the prompts from the persona and run a few outputs to see what direction it goes.

There's FOMO, fear of missing out, but also FOLO, fear of losing out. It's that feeling that once you go something nice, there can't possibly be anything better. Once you find gold though, don't stop. Look for the vein. Other things will sound great too.

My feedback after using it for a month now would be consistent sound quality. i just generated a song which is amazing! but the epic ending where the singer had some high singing parts, there was almost like a 'noise gate' setup that clipped her voice to make it almost to quiet to hear. @vestal condor Generally simplified, you'd try to metatag for drums (or other) before the point you want drums.

That nudges Suno to consider putting drums there. It could also just remind Suno to add drums somewhere, anywhere. So, on top of that, it's good to provide a gap before the drum metatag, such as [pause] and/or doing all this within/at a new extension rather than just within a full lyrics area between two verses. This give it room to consider a drum fill.

From there we should indicate to Suno to be prepped for a metatag, by prompting for styles of genres common for drum fill-ins, such as, prog pop, musicals, arena rock, and indicators like [driving, iconic, building, emphatic, propulsive]

Writing lyrics which indicate a drum fill would be helpful too. Think of Whitney Houston,

3. can you crank out one test song to see if a) you have v4.0 capabilities ,can download WAV files or make a persona/cover (?) and to monitor to see b) what time of day it refreshes back to 50 credits.

Sounds like your card did not have sufficient funds, or the payment was cancelled/blocked, when Suno tried to charge for the monthly renewal. This is what soft locks your account (if you got sub credits but payment was not received) .

As the alert should state, please contact [e-mail] and let them know your account is soft locked and you had cancelled your subscription.

Regarding cancelling the subscription:
It is advised in the TOS to try to cancel your subscription at least a week before your renewal to account for any issues, though most are fine with a day before.

To cancel, you need to select your basic plan. If you subscribed through the website, this will flag your account to return to basic when your next month renewal time comes.

If you subscribed through the app, be careful! Because of how the mobile payment needs to be set up, unsubscribing from the apps will immediately return you to the basic account, wiping any subscriptions credits you had.

I've been doing the same thing since I joined Suno. There are variations. Now it's 2:03 flat and very similar singer most of the time

Know that the AI does not remember anything it generated for your piece, so in order to help relearn what it did, a portion of the time is reserved where the AI studies the Output you generated earlier when used as an Input (specifically talking about when you use Extension, Cover, and Persona - though what it studies differs between the three).

For persona and covers, this reservation time is usually in the 40~60 sec range (varies depending on the clip length).

When you Extend, the reservation is almost exactly half of the base generation time as it needs to study more information than a persona/cover to replicate.

The time that is reserved for studying your song is applied to the time you chose to continue from. So if you Continued From 3:10 in Part 1 using v4 (4 min base gen time), that means that the basis of the Part 2 AI replication (2 min reserved) will be based on what the AI analyzed the content between 1:10–3:10 in Part 1.

This is why varying the Continue From time by a few seconds can lead to a new/different sounding output

As you can see in my picture, my extension was able to make a Part 2 that ended naturally ended (1:47) and one was terminated/cutoff when it reached the maximum extension time (2:00 in v4)

If its an anomaly and doing it now and not other times, then vary something now, and see if you still get 2:03. If yes, then it's more a system issue. And best to leave that output alone and work on something else. That's my routine. Come back later to see if something changes.

But yes, if you wish, start another extension of the same and paste in everything exact. Don't use your present one. Test that way too.

Suno can have issues pronouncing words at times, even in English. The best workaround at the moment would be to phonetically spell the word with similar sounding spelling (you can ask an AI to help with this).

E g. Fiesta = feeaystah, fee-eh-stah, etc. (Though I think the dash adds a bit of a pause so you want to avoid that. Maybe comma instead, like fee'eh'stah?)

Never tried using the IPA markdown but maybe that can help? 🤔

I'd add that even in English (just cause that's native to me) it's more clear Suno tried to squeeze words into the meter. I've seen this results in the word getting pronounced with the least syllables more often than most syllables. "ie" for example more often may be pronounce feesta,fehsta, or f-eye-sta, regardless of the intended language, universally, the "ie" as one sound is available.

Doing as @Lumine suggests, offers a three syllable word up from so that Suno know how much needs to be put in the meter of that line. It may even sing the line a bit off from before because of this, which means adjusting other parts like moving a word down a line, or bring the whole next line up to make a long line that Suno can evenly parcel syllables out better.

The only thing I can think of is if Simple Mode is trying to surpass the character limit (1250 for v2.5, 3.0 and 3000 for 3.5 and 4.0) which used to give that error (but that error is too generic as I mentioned before). But the odds are likely that is not the case

Unless the only thing deleted is just your personal-related data, which would be effectively your SSO/connected email address and payment details, and kept all other non-personal data (handle name, public songs, etc.)

That would comply with GDPR and keep the accounts around in case they are needed for legal reasons

My understanding is that you will not own the song, because you did not own the original. Try recreating the song fresh, using your own lyrics (or modify Suno's lyrics), using similar styles as before and see what you get. You will never get the exact same song, but it might produce something as good as or even better.

So, odd thing just happened. Just generated a 4:27 minute cover of a 3:00 minute song. The weird part: at 1:29 of the song, it just restarts at the intro, and covers the full 3 minute song. The interesting part: it generated more than 4:00, which it did on its own. A full 27 seconds of extra music that matches the song.

I've been carefully combing through both the Knowledge Base and the Discord server, and I’ve found that many users are reporting the exact same recurring issues with Suno’s current V4 output—though they often describe it in different ways depending on their audio experience.

Commonly Reported Issues (Summarized Across Discord):
Many users mention:

“Overblown,” “fuzzy,” “harsh,” “distorted,” or “gritty” sounds, especially on piano or low-end instruments.

A high-frequency shimmer that builds unnaturally, often described as “laser beams,” “8-bit noise,” or “cheap speaker treble.”

Decay in quality after ~1:30 into the track, especially on longer generations.

Some say it sounds like there’s a guitar amp or saturation plugin baked into the output—even for mellow genres.

In professional audio engineering terms, what many of us are experiencing includes:

Unintended saturation of transients in the mid to low frequencies (30–250 Hz)

Clipping-like distortion in early piano or bass notes

False harmonic excitation in high bands (~7–12kHz), even when not prompted

Thanks, this issue has basically replaced the "shimmer" that I was getting previously, this is so much worse to be honest. I'm writing nu/industrial metal songs and it's extremely prevalent, to the point of making all the songs unusable. Since it seems like this isn't something going to be fixed imminently I suppose I'll have to put things on hold and cancel my sub and check back in a few weeks to see if anything improved. What a shame.

I’ve spent my entire monthly credit just testing different prompts to try and eliminate the distortion and overdrive problems—only with limited success.

From my testing, there seems to be around a 50/50 chance of improvement if you include negative prompts like:
“no overdrive,” “no distortion,” “clean piano,” “no shimmer,” “no guitar amp FX.”
Sometimes these help reduce the issue, but unfortunately, it’s not consistent.

You can also try phrases like:
“Instruments without FX” or “texture with no saturation.”
But be warned—while these can reduce unwanted artifacts, they often make the music feel flat or lifeless, like the algorithm pulls back too much and removes all depth.

I hope this info helps even a little. I’m honestly hoping Suno starts taking this more seriously soon. It's not just about credits—we’re losing valuable time and whole production schedules are on hold because of this. Our team is completely stuck until there's a fix or at least some clarity.

I believe it plays following songs similar to the present song playing. Like a radio station. 📻 But you can't set a "vibe" or genre. I haven't clicked in a long time, i looked for it recently on the desktop version and couldn't find it and most times if I listen to a song, it will automatically play a random song anyway. But now I think there is a playlist that may pop up in the app with Suno Radio showing the songs in queue to play.

Not readily. No. Going from A to B, no problem, adding C, a bit harder.

Suno does understand Italian musical notation so you can metatag for things like soprano, contralto, metzo-suprano.

You can use prompts which embrace a higher pitch such as Kawaii , anime, even vocaloid can be snuck in without sounding too computery, if enough other style prompts are used.

If i put [audience] i usually get something like an arena sound. If I put [audience][applause] then it's a grand applause. [Audience][clapping] sometimes lessens it. But [audience]clapping and it often a more intimate coffee shop type clapping of a few people.

Same works for (giggling) to use as an adjective.
