Maybe you already made 1 or 2 changes on the song. Or 1 or 2 edits or you know did a crop. There's only so many changes.You can make once you make 1 or 2 changes on the song.It doesn't allow you to make the third change something like that. And it's either getting worse or it's just bad when you use a persona.I don't know, but it feels like it's getting worse.Like you can only make one or two edits on the song now and then the song breaks to where it becomes like you cannot fix the third error that kind of thing you cannot do the second replace action after you did a single replace action already

And I don't know if it's a recent issue.But this song becomes tour.You can't do a fade on it. You cant do a crop. You can't do anything. Definitely not a replace section. When you try it'll just attempt to generate something and then it'll eventually refund you the credits, and it won't generate anything.It's gotten the worse

So basically if your song needs more than one or two edits max you're just gonna be up crap creek without a paddle and that's that song I'll just have errors on it or just don't release it. I guess. It keeps happening to me

Suno can generate syllables instead of words. You can also use other words to make it sound like the word you would like.

Per example: if it doesn't generate sure correctly then you can use shure or shore. Alterternatively to refine even more you can write shah-ur or shuh-er.

Trying to crop a song & it simply will not work, just hangs on the preparing editor logo on screen after doing the cropping & you refresh & it just repeats. The editor is unstable now, it started for some people on Saturday. Better wait until the devs could look at it on Monday. Replace Section went blue side down first, now it seems cropping and fading are affected too. It's certainly the backend problem. I just tried the Replace again, nope, it times-out.

I think Suno should really add a feature where if you want it to end within the allotted time it will do it & conversely if you don't & want it longer - especially if you have longer lyrics then it will do that for you. Rather than it being pot luck. But of course you can choose where to start off an extension if it decided to end the song shorter & missed whole verses, choruses etc out.

Nope, you seem to be jumping to conclusions too quickly. The failures are random. I should better say, the successes are random and rare. You probably made that single edit by sheer luck. To wait until Monday is the only suggestion I can give.

Neither they need your piss. If you find a bug and want it be fixed, carefully reproduce it, and write down all the steps. Like this. 1. Create a new song, putting this and that into the Style box. 2. Do this. 3. Do that. 4. Observe that X happens every time, while I expect that Y happens. Best of all, reproduce it two or three times. Then post your repro here, and you'll do your part of the work. Someone at Suno will follow your steps, find that the problem happens, and will work on fixing it. This way, you'll eventually see the problem fixed. It's important to split your reproduction into small steps, so that the person working on that can understand it and perform exactly same steps that lead to the buggy behaviour.

Another option is to write five times more how bad and dysfunctional Suno is. Since you don't provide any actionable info, nobody will be able to help you. This will not help anyone to repro your bug and fix it.

The choice is yours. I would certainly do the former if I had discovered a problem.

I am creating tracks with vocals. However, I wish to rebuild them or repair some things, or even sing myself over an instrumental version in my DAW. ive tried extensions with [chords only] type structure sections and the negative prompt feature. Once in a great while, ill get lucky with an extension. instrumental breaks always seem to include a solo melody. Since all stem extractors, even RX and UVR, are crap, I'm trying to trick Suno into creating some sections without melody . Anyone have any luck with this?

I have been unable to play or download songs on Suno AI on both iOS and Windows for the past two days. I have tried different browsers and also logged out and logged back in multiple times, but the issue persists.

#📚┃suno-school message. @hardy thunder posted the only solution. Fill out the form and wait for response. "FAKE APP" warnings can be true or false positives based on a few factors. No quick fixes with one solution for all, I'm afraid.

An update? 😲 when, where, what? @boreal harness wow, your PC screen still has that "black" contrast and not yet the misty pink version? Just to say, It will still look like that on an Android mobile until you switch to Desktop mode. Is your PC some sort of Mini PC box?

The error message (on our SSO login panel)"...unable to complete action at this time. if the problem persists please contact support....." typically this is an SSO error, not a Suno message.

Theres been no "discord chat" resolves so far and quite a few are starting to get this so....

1. technically, its an SSO error, so an SSO problem, but it may be...
2. Suno has made some stronger security changes, or
3. there is a glitch while making some updates which are affecting log ins.
4. 🕴️conspiracy theory while you wait🕴️: any IP services that may monitor internet transmissions may affect logins and consequently, SSOs that detect interception may take steps to block or encrypt, and affect Sunos verification of your ID.

Solution: none presently known or proported by members within Discord.

Suggestions while you wait: 1) wait a few minutes. 1.a.) turn off all VPNs. Try again. 2) cold boot ,"turn off/on" , phone or desktop as a quick reset to see what happens. 2.a) clear cache and cookies from any corrupt data 3) use 4/5G instead of wifi to check login. 3.a) if only wifi, dont use other's wifi, and restart your modem and router 4) if Apple SSO, make sure your Apple ID has not been locked for too many login attempts.

P.S. Gmail status on Google Workstation is "green" so no issues with Google regarding their SSO itself, it reports.

To know more about this error.... search the error phrase to get info on usual causes.

At times, there are increases in failed attempts, server errors, odd anomalies and others often each one happening in groups of a few or many users having the same issues for a few days.

My experience is that these happen when there is a bigger leap in some updates in Suno. The results are often an update, better improvements, or change in the UI , which is helpful for most with the caveat of severely affecting a small monority negatively. [See MikeBs update for further #🚀┃updates message]

I feel personally this is one of those times... I have noticed these occurrences which started around March 20th and I anticipate could start clearing by April 3rd as seems the history of how these things go.

So I've been purposely suggesting some to just waiting it out or getting in the support email queue. The hope being, things will clear up before it's necessary to talk to support.

In the meantime, anyone who's has had an issue AND it's been resolved, it seems to help all of us volunteer members and MODs to 1) know that it's been resolved and 2) to know what the resolution was, including having needed Support Teams to fix it. Even brand new members are picking up when there is a solution and reflecting it back into the channel 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 💚

So, if you have time, please post up anytime something "magically cleared up" or purposefully has been resolved and how you think that was resolved.

For FOLK, I think you may have to just play around more with the prompts, rearranging them, and adding a unique persona vocal too, when you can. I'm a bit old school, but you can tweak with prompts to give a current sound. Here's a playlist of the same lyrics with some suggested prompts ....I put together in the past 10 minutes. Hmm, the only time I had that happen is when somehow Suno thought I was in Simple Mode (with its default suggested topic) while I was in Custom Mode, though that is a rare occurrence.

When that happens, I:

• copy my lyrics, style prompts, title
• reload the page (just in case)
• Toggle into Simple Mode
• Toggle back into Custom Mode
• Paste everything back in then regenerate

I've been using Suno for about four months now, and this issue with overly distorted mixes has always happened occasionally – but recently it's getting worse.
More and more tracks are being ruined, and I'm wasting credits on exports that are simply unusable.
Interestingly, version 3.5 doesn't seem to suffer from this nearly as much – the distortion and bad balance mostly appear in V4.

This really needs attention. The compositions are great, but the mix makes them unreleasable.

So I took a 2-month break from Suno because the v4 generations I was getting were really bad, I was just wasting my time as well as all the wasted credits on song after song and nothing seemed to be being done about it, the generations were full of this shimmer ringing bell effect and a wishy washy fffssssshhh artificial sound.
I have come back, and I have to say the generations are much better than what I was getting before I took a break, apart from now the exports sound really bad which is something I didn't get before which is a shame as I have had some pretty good generations.
Playing the sound in the browser sounds fine, it's just the export that is now the problem... darn it!!!

I just want to clarify that the audio I posted earlier was recorded directly from the browser – not from the exported file.
So it seems like the issue is not just in the export, but already present during the generation process.
The mix sounds distorted even before download, which makes me think the problem is in the rendering/mastering stage of generation.

And another issue: when generating longer tracks (like 4 minutes), it often doesn’t even finish the song properly – it just cuts off suddenly at the end. Feels like the generation is being stopped before it’s actually done.

That's how it was for me, most of the time the beginning was fine but as soon as you got to the chorus or a build-up that's when it all fell apart, it is so frustrating especially when you get good music and vocals together to have to throw it away.

I also get the finishing issue..... the song just cuts off or starts playing odd short sequences.

I have seen people mention it but I think most are fed up of saying the same thing over and over for nothing to be done. I did read somewhere that they cant fix v4 but hopefully v5 will get rid of these issue and probably add news one 🙂

Regarding the audio being cut off: This is normal.

There is a limit to how much audio can be generated in one go, and the models are unable to determine how much audio a song will produce until it's actually generating it. This limit is 4 minutes for v4 and v3.5, and shorter for older models. Sometimes the song will naturally end before this, sometimes it won't.

Certain factors can further influence the maximum length of an audio clip and cause it to be cut off before 4 minutes.

The "extend" functionality can continue a song from any point you choose, and will generate up to 2 more minutes (it may end before this though.)

My real concern is the sound quality of recent generations – the distorted mixes make many tracks unusable. That's the part I hope gets fixed.

Hot fixes for the basic features to make them work a little better are very hard to come by. There's never been such a hotfix for the basic features. The editor has always been very slow and full of glitches i do hope they prioritize a hotfix because it's gotten so bad now most of the features don't even work at all anymore. But this is the type of issue that Suno just doesn't tend to focus on. They just tend to focus on other priorities.

Any delays in any app can sometimes be helped by logging out and back in. Be sure you know whether you can log in or not before doing this. Apparently many don't log out for weeks or months and forget how to log back in. So it's up to you at your discretion.

First, I have a version of the song that I really like how it came out, but I wanna make a few changes to the lyrics. Can't seem to get it to just make small changes to an existing song. It keeps regenerating a new version in that genre. Is there a way that you're supposed to do it to just make small changes. I'm probably just going to the wrong option.

Second, are you able to put more specific directions into what you're looking at to create. For example, could you put somewhere that you wanted to be a female singer versus a male singer. Or Any other sort of directions on how you want the song to come out. The pro/Premium have additional tools which make for easier choices and options when trying to manipulate outputs into songs.

As for most of your questions, if you maintain awareness that AI generative music is random, and a wide spectrum of possibilities, including occassional misfires, hallucinations and other issues, and the ability to work well in some genre direction and more of a difficult time in others.... then you're on your way to having s fun time using Suno, or any other AI generative music software for that matter.

Quick ways to get a vibe is to just search that vibe on the home page, listen through the list of songs referenced and try some of the prompts you see others using. Since you have prompts, lyrics, metatags and shear randomness, it may take a lot of rearranging , adding or subtracting prompts. Until something sounds about right.

The other quick way it to drop a similar song/artist in a genre analyzing app. Write down all the genres it spots out and then try those in Suno.

I planed on making more songs with the same sound, so I went to "make persona" and it was grayed out. does Suno not allow you to make a persona from a recording-aided song, or am I doing something else? You can generate or find any song in your library with the right type of voice, crop that song to a section that has clear vocals, and make a Persona from that. If the Persona is short you should be able to not be too stuck to the music style in the original. Can also Extend the voice to make a longer sample first.

There's probably also style tags that would help, but I think Persona may be faster. If you any tags that work a little already though, try repeating them a bunch of times in the style prmopt.

Both Arc browser and Safari on my mac generates low quality songs like that. And I suspect that suno just soft blocked my account (or my IP address).

Why it would have similar user name (?) exactly, I have no concept and have never tested to see if thats possible, but we can certainly manually change out our user handle, so it may be what you did in that moment of confusion seeing what you thought was your original account.

In fact this situation has being there for more than a month. Every generation from my laptop are garbage, and remaster is broken. The issue is mainly on the vocal part, where it sounds blurry. I even tried with prompts that worked before (it easily gave good results months ago), and it still generated blurry songs.

It is surprising that it allowed you to use a profile/username that already exists (even if it's your own). Probably just a bug. My advice is just to reach out since you can't log into your original account anyway. No choice, really...if you want to get your songs back into your new account.

And someone told me that my account was flagged and need to fill a form to unflag it. That worked before. But this time I only get low quality songs without watermark. In part, it can help to make each verse a separate extension, changing the style prompts and the [gender] metatags before the verse in the extension to try to get suno to change both instruments and gender at the same time.

Nothing will achieve it to 100% but if you get even one line for male and one for female you can easily switch them in edit afterwards

I think we're saying it usually takes a few "steps" such as using [male vocal] as a metatag, placing styles that encourage male vocals in thr prompts, working with extensions to individually encourage suno to go in a certain direction, writing song lyrics which imply a duet, or romantic moment, or a conversation , while arranging lyrics so give space to allow one vocal to "end" and another begin.

There's no one setting that will accomplish this.

An hour ago, I used a test output and with extensions added a female in a hallucination song with a male lead and a boys choir in the intro, using these techniques. Likely I might not be able to replicate it.

Just now Suno makes a lot of pronunciation mistakes. I had the word chaste in one song and three different ways to say it. I'd recommend to write it somewhat phonetically. I put chayst in the lyrics and it worked. Just to be sure or you'll end up replacing countless parts of a song. 😄

Not having a good answer for you, there have been a number of different issues with users logging in.

Yours, as I understand means your email or other information are not verifiable with what the app is saying it should be. That could mean simply that there may be missing data somewhere causing it to error.

Having said that, I truly wouldn't know and will just assume you just got this error within the hour?

Check the bug channel as you should post this there https://discord.com/channels/1069381916492562582/1258072243963957288 and then try normal troubleshooting measures for apps that are glitching.

Certainly attempt to log into Safari or Chrome after clearing history and cache/cookies.

After your initial responses and Google coming back somewhat vague, I actually had some measured success asking ChatGPT how to phonetically spell different words so a different AI could interpret them as the correct sound.

Here’s how you can fight that:

1. Force Phonetics with Alternate Spellings
In a script or prompt, spell it out how it sounds:

Ale → "ayl" or "ay-ul"

Bow (as in take a bow) → "bau" or "baow"

But yeah... it never works first few tries... but if you're patient enough, after severals.. you might get what you're after.

Some general solutions:

• Are you on VPN? (e.g. opera's built-in VPN). If so, try changing your region then reload

For example, if it was an error on the user end, such as not verifying the lyrics before submitting, it is unlikely to get a refund.

The response time from what I see here seems to be at least a week long (likely due to too many emails and not enough support staff)

Adjusting the edges often helps, it's a bit trial and error but moving it around a bit helps with the accuracy if one position fails, also try manual

Female, gentle but strong vocals
The problem: SUNO doesn’t recognize the switch between voices properly. I’ve already tried several ways to indicate the change, such as:
Brackets [Male Voice] / [Female Voice]
Colons Male Voice: / Female Voice:
Other formatting methods, but nothing seems to work reliably.
Does anyone know a syntax or method that SUNO understands to correctly handle voice switching? Any help would be greatly appreciated! 🙏

Unfortunately, the AI was not really trained for timing, bpm, and even gendered voices (which is why it is a coin flip even if you had male repeated 3x). Those all were learned implicitly which is why 3.0 does follow [End] but 3.5 and 4.0 lost it (excluding BPM which, AFAIK, never worked so likely it never learned the exact BPM but using slow/mid/fast tempo does have an influence)

The two reasons I can think of why they did not reach back:

1. They have not checked your ticket yet due to backlog
2. They found evidence that you did violate the TOS (e.g. used one of those API pipelines) and they dropped your ticket

Sometimes what happens is that the song ends (almost) naturally in the middle then the AI restarts/continues. If that is the case and you have a subscription, you can crop before that natural pause (or use an audio editor like Audacity)

Alternatively, if it is a continuous song with no natural pause/end present, you can try to Extend near the point you want and [End] it with the model set to 3.0 (I like using the style prompt "End, Short" for those stops).
Not sure how the quality will sound like when you Get Whole Song though..
