I have been playing around with it on and off; I think it's still a little clunky. Meaning it kinda works and then it seems to do something odd. I think this function is going to be something just like Suno in general as it evolves ie. V1 to V4 (seems to get better). I think it's just one of those things we have to play with and figure out what works and what doesn't then report our findings. I know this doesn't specificly help, but I don't think you are alone. I think it's just one of those "play around and find out" kind of things.

yeah, remaster is the same for most (me), it's kinda hit or miss. I think the new feature of almost (splicing) a track/song and getting it to do a regen is the work in progress but yeah, you aren't wrong. I think it's a "issue" for sure but it's about perspective also... it's kinda fun and funny to see what Suno is capable of rn and where it goes in the future... but yes it chews up our credits for sure... this is why I recommend (bug reporting inside of Suno); IDK how/if we actually get our credits back but... it's kinda fun/funny and sometimes frustrating but we are also "choosing to use" the product ya know.

I only get super agitated when there is like 1 or 2 words messed up in a completely amazing song... it seems for me in initial gens Im using V3.5 then remaster in 4 just for fun; see what it does. The new feature of being able to snip/clip portions is almost a tease to a sort of online DAW which is amazing if it happens but yeah...I think it's just one of those things we get to play with and report on and figure out what works and what doesn't share with Suno and this Community.

IF i can get good use on the backend with a completed project, then I'm good with a beta version just giving me 10% on the front end at times. My savings are still about 400% better cost averaged than if I did this manually.

Yeah agree, I think it all comes down to - what do you want to do with your music. There are several ways to intigrate Suno into our work, but if you are just doing it for entertainment purposes or enjoyability of publishing on Suno then... time is just part of the process and it's kinda fun when it's wonky and weird. Now, if you are doing music for other reasons.. semi-pro or pro (monetized) then you have to get really crafty and savvy on how to use Suno as a tool and not a one stop shop. There are many ways to skin a cat....as the saying goes...

Yes, but that's not the problem. I used to write a full song and by providing the lyrics, I would get a full song of about 3-4 minutes. Nowadays I get 2-3 minutes and the song just stops halfway through or later. I also tried to cover and remaster a full song (from old ones) but I still get pieces, from 20 seconds to 30 minutes, but not complete songs....

Now I tried version 3.5 and the same thing, look at the screenshot: the first song is 3.10 minutes and the second is 1.56 minutes. Neither of them is complete, both break off at some point. The sound quality is terrible in both version 3.5 and version 4. It feels like something is broken. I can’t make complete songs even with mastering and covers, I only get pieces and the credits are wasted...

some things can help, for example when i wanted p*rngrind, i simply typed [goregrind grunts] into the lyrics, for black metal i typed [black metal screeches] and put text like "sataaaaaan aaaaaa sataaaan" since the texts are most of the time not distinguishable and satan is an often screeched word haha
so using tropes or really famous songs can help;
I wanted a very high soprano voice, like elin manahan thomas-high and eventually started dumping lyrics from really famous classical soprano songs, so a lot of things can help to get there

Does anyone know how to solve my problem? I've created some really good tracks, got the music ,vocals I wanted and then it changes my lyrics or adds a word in or doesn't fade the song . Seem to happen mostly after the 2 minute mark or at the end. I spend all my credits trying to recreate the same song correctly but with no luck.

You can try using crop to take the part off where it changes then extend to make it a little longer and remaster the song. Hope that helps some.

It's likely not a Suno issue to fix. You can have errors with your SSO insufficently recognizing the Suno server. The simplest fix can be to clear your cache. Also turning off your browser extensions. Then try another browser. I'm not experienced, quite stupid, In fact. But just spouting research. If it happens again try the simplest first.

Have you recently had your lyrics denied by the auto-moderator? As the moderator has been a bit strict as of late, denials of lyrics have grown, and coincidentally so has this "simultaneously queueing" error.

The error has been popping up a bit as of recently and may be just glitchy, , but still an outside chance that if your lyrics get denied, that occurrence may still be floating in the buffer, and sunos thinking you're generating more outputs than you have capacity to.... until you log out and back in, refresh or otherwise clear out the cache.

I understand, if one clicks Custom in OFF mode, this error stops occurring. Of course, few would want just for Suno to make a song, but for test purposes, you can see if this is true for you as well.

Okay, yeah figured it out. Split the STEMS use the instrumental then remaster it using V4 sounds great!! NO lyric bleed, no distortion, no shimmer.

Then you could always play around with covering just the instrumental after you get a version you like... (I had one part on one that didn't remove all the vocals).

I split stems, and cover the instrumental so that the vocal bleeds turn into instrumental melodies. Fun to put a melody into an instrumental. Cover twice if needed then remaster. Done.

So, in a sense, you can get some interesting results if the vocals bleed a bit into the instrumental stem.

yeah, doing that now... it is going kinda wonky on me... I swear you use to be able to just instrument cover... maybe I forgot... The V4 remaster is working great; the v4 Instrument STEM (remaster) (cover) is going bad kind of; doing weird but cool stuff - but yeah, this is working for sure. @frail widget this is definitely working.

I think just remastering the original STEM is the straight forward approach here... took me 1 spin and the second came out perfect!

I cover the vocal occassionally , about 5 or 6 times until it gives up and finally spits out a solid instrumental (of the vocal stem) and usually barely recognizable or totally different . Just another way to get a new vibe going and waste some credits.

Does anyone have similar problems? I've spent about 700 credits in recent days, but the problem is still the same: I can't get complete songs in version 4. When creating new songs, I only have pieces. I started making songs in version 3.5 but when I try to make a remaster I still get pieces. The screenshot shows that the song lasts 3.01, but when I remaster it I only get pieces. The most interesting thing: all the pieces that received a remaster begin exactly from the middle of the 3rd verse (the text is highlighted on the right). Those. I'm getting a remaster of the song from about the middle of the 3rd verse, why? The main song was created anew and I didn't upload anything for it...

Have you ever tried to EXCHANGE the ENTIRE LYRICS of a song? I have tried with the “replacing section” function. This creates a copy of the song from the beginning, if you like, into which you can then put the new lyrics. But if the existing song is too long, you can't extend it long enough beyond the maximum song length specified by Suno. Is there a solution for this?

Though you've posted your issue a few times over a couple of days, there just doesn't seem to be a good resolve.

You may want to consider there may be an authentication issue with your account. The result being that it will let you create, but the ouputs will be truncated as you describe. Though, usually this is limited to the original creation of outputs, I assume it could mean at any stage.

It's possible you are logging in.... but because of, well, anything, rather than getting a system error, you get the truncated outputs. It is something designated by Suno to do as a somewhat courteous means of flagging.

As always, this may not be the case, or if thats what happening, it could be a false positive. In any case, try filling out this form to help verify the issue and see if there is something further Suno can do . https://sunomusic.typeform.com/to/zGsJSzsf

As I've tried to replicate your issue yesterday and failed with no "short outputs", and no one else seems to have issue with it as a system problem, it seems specific to your app or account.

If no one has mentioned yet, make sure you are not using a VPN while logging in. If on desktop, consider turning off any plug-in / extensions which might affect your browser function.

Try that route while working out the problem. In the meantime, maybe something will click and it start working.

Any chance you have more than one Suno window open , or more than one browser ooen using Suno, to affect it. I usually end up with like 5 or 6 open at any one time by the end of the day. Though they should function simultaneously, I know running two browsers at the same time can make one go into captcha mode.

I am new to Suno. For the past two months, I have been using the free version. All the songs and lyrics I created seemed fine. A few days ago, I finally signed up for the Pro plan, but now I’m facing an issue. Whenever I create custom music with lyrics and play the music, the lyrics don't display. They never appear.

Cut off as much as you can afford, try to replace the lyrics of that first part with the ones you want; if that doesn't work, create a persona from the part you want to keep, use the persona and place the lyrics you have kept and the new lyrics afterwards, cut off the old first part or try to replace the beginning now if you kept it

If you keep the first part with persona it will generate a 1:1 version and just extend the rest into the new lyrics and often with way more consistency than the extend feature

Otherwise you have to fiddle around with the replacement feature forever and imho that's just not worth it when persona gets it done faster

And for the next time, get your lyrics perfect right away I regret all the test songs I have made that could have been great but I used pseudo lyrics

The solution with “Replacing Section” as I described it actually works without any problems if the songs for this function could be twice as long in a working version, for example.
If you replace from the beginning, but the song is e.g. 3 minutes long, not enough can be appended to create a “lyricless version” of the song, which I could then easily add new lyrics to, as has already been done successfully with shorter songs.

Persona is great for replacing things, I started to only look for good song beginnings by now and when I like something I cut off everything except the first 2 verses and generate again to get a good chorus (and sometimes good rest of the song)
I have to give the disclaimer though that I use v3.5 So I hope v4 does the same

I found that using cover songs to change the language really depends on luck. I just changed it to Nepali and Punjabi. Both are very different from the original song in syllables, but I was able to complete the former after only a few attempts. The latter still couldn't be changed after using 200 credits.

It could have been covered well, and it even rhymes. But I feel like it was deliberately trying to keep me from covering it.

Just curious if anyone knows the root cause of the gibberish and if there's a recommended work-around. I'm mostly experiencing it when I use the new "beta" persona feature. I'm super happy with the vast majority of the songs, and when I do the extend most are intact, but when I use that song to create a persona and add something new, like a bridge, I am getting some gibberish.

I mean the short answer here is... Suno has a stroke mid song... lol but the longer answer is; there are dozens if not a hundred of factors that can cause this. Best advise is use your thumb up, thumb down feature as you are telling it what you like and dislike. The hard part on that is... you might chew up 1000 credits looking for that 1 song. But yeah, the long answer is - there are many factors I think that cause it to "get weird - spit gibberish out". Can be phrasing, language, prompts/tags, etc... When this happens to me I evaluate the lyrics, sylibal count, phrasing and then my genre/style that I am working on or trying to acheive. Sadly there are just times where it really dislikes certian word combo's and phrasing. What I see by a lot of users is the over use of words - trying ot fit in 150 words into 1 verse 1 chorus. I also recommend looking into song structure as I think Suno does a great job at recognizing. Meaning in the genre I am making how does song structure flow; example Verse 1, Verse 2, Bridge, Chorus, V3, Chorus, V4, Chorus, and Outro... something to that affect. I know this is not answering direct but maybe helpful. I am sure there are many of us that can all input on this. If it's really bad and like an always thing I would contact Support and ask them the question so they can examine on the backend and maybe offer up some specific advise.

Genres, there's about 40 to 140, depending on how you define them. As for all sub-genres? Suno is generative, so listing more than one genre in a prompt will create new sub-genre , making the "list" infinite.

Better to peruse the home page songs and find a sound you like, then see what they prompted.

I assume the 4 second frame is a line on its own? If fitting it inside the 10 second frame, AI can have a hard time blending in the middle of words on the end, then also blending the new word within the same time frame as the old word. So the longer phrase given to replace the more forgiveness there is to fit it all in.

It's carpentry. Shave a bit off of everything and it will fit without being noticed.

Might never get you precision if that's what's needed, but gets acceptable results to move forward.

For several weeks, maybe more than a month now, I get more songs stopping short than I get complete songs. Often stopping between 3 and 3.5 minutes. Rarely do I get songs that reach the 4 minute limit.

Yeah it kind of behaves as if there are too many lyrics even if there aren't... If you use less lyrics you can extend the song and put the rest of the lyrics in (or can do this anyway if you set the extend time to a relevant point, e.g. between lines or between verse/chorus)

• Put duet in the style
• in lyric, use [Verse 1 - Male] ... [Verse 2 - Female]

although... it's not 100% going to follow that.. some gens will either all males, all females, or switch the gender on them verses...
just keep trying and hopefully the one you like would have a good melody, beat and gender matched.

My guess is there is an issue with song structure/lyric to the tags you are putting in for genre/style. It's really hard to tell without seeing everything. There are times I have found that it's trying to hit that 2:30 minute to 4 minutes bench mark and if I don't put in enough to work with, it will go off on it's own and start repeating or even creating it's own lyrics.

I wrote and made an awesome song tonight, called You're Bringing Me Down. On the website the lyrics look fine but no matter what I do I cannot get the lyrics to format properly on my phone. At first lines were strung together with no spaces between one line and the next, at least I was finally able to figure a way to put spaces between the last word of one line and the first word of the next line, other than that it's still kind of a mess. On other songs I have been able to format them, some easily, some with unusual tricks, but this song refuses to format properly. I haven't made a song since the recent Suno updates, is this something others are experiencing as well? Or is it just something I am experiencing with just this one song. Bummer man. I made 5 tries tonight to get 10 options for my song and finally went with one of the options from attempt 4. Most of the others were pretty decent as well, but all of them were about 3:10 or less. I don't know why Suno doesn't just max out the 4 minutes with each creation for songs that will be longer than 4 minutes in the end. Other than that it worked good for me tonight. After choosing my song option I extended it and the first try gave me two awesome endings, really, it was difficult choosing 1 of the 2 to use! I'll probably make them both public in time. In the meantime though, they both have the same lyric formatting issue on my mobile phone.

Suno even gave me a great voice match for the extension, very happy with it. I've not been so lucky on some of my other songs.

Given that training data is not "retained" in storage somewhere, it's assumed your content when submitted also may be used as additional data at that point -- shortIy after submitting, not after saving. It wouldn't be necessary to have files archived in a hole somewhere to maintain a training surplus of content. If every member deleted every output in their accounts that amounts to NO content available, that wouldn't affect that Suno has already scanned them and FAIAP doesnt need them again.

As far as I know if you delete something, it's just gone.

It's always possible that one song output may be similar to another (the ToS even mentions this) but that's not because it's "recycled" your songs - just that everyone's making stuff from the same models and there's a chance things might sound similar. I remember there used to be a particular prompt that would always generate the same song - that kind of thing. It's very rare though.

They wouldn't just give your song to someone else or publish it themselves. The most I expect they'd do might be to use it for internal testing/verification or something but even then I've only known songs to be inspected by the team in response to specific bug reports.

So the short answer is: once you delete a song, it won't be given to anyone else, but the models always have the possibility to generate something similar for someone else due to how they work.

So of course it is self understood that there will be similar generations when similar prompts are used even by other users, that can't be helped and that is ok. Not worried about that since that only creates a smiliar output, never the same one. My main concern was with work I create and remove once I have all the files backed up. Let's put an example: I am a Pro user and create a song, and because of being a Pro user I do own all copyrights, etc. Once I am all happy about what I have created, I save all of the files generated to my own hard drive (including extensions, stems, etc) so that I can use them to release them as is or even work with them further. Now after all of that, imagine I would delete all those permanently. Will my files be lost only to me or will they be lost for Suno as well? And if they were to pool elsewhere internally for Suno, would they be re-fed into the system? My worry is not about getting those files back since I will back them up, in this case I just want to know how much of my work can be fed back into the system or if as I would assume (or like) it doesn't. Thank you again, I know it is a very "beyond" question but I am really interested on knowing this. I asked this question to a different platform and they could answer me specifically so it would be amazing to have the same clarity here!!!!

Yes, your songs help the model learn. It doesn't need to memorize them anywhere. It has already learned when you created the song. From what I understand, that's how all of them work. That's why you see that some generators are free at first, so users create songs to teach the model.

The images that get generated with each song: do we own them as well as unique same as the song itself? Or are these reused hence not part of copyright ownership? Because I would love to know if I can in fact use those images for album covers etc!

I'm noticing a little weirdness this morning with the 'replace section' interface:

1. About 2/3 of my generations are not sticking to the duration of the selection and are re-writing a couple minutes of the song. These generations also show screwed up / repeated lyrics from the selection, repeated many times, but not actually in the generation.

2. The replaced section is not properly mixed, volume-wise, with the rest of the song. I finally got a replacement I liked, but when I applied it, that section was disturbingly louder than the surroundings - to the point that it was not usable. This has happened a times before today, too, but it seems to have ramped up today.

2a. And it wasn't a gradual increase either - it was abrupt and jarring to listen to

With the current state of Replace Tool, as you can see a lot of people are having lots of issue with it... I'd try to avoid changing using this tool... until they fix it. It totally random at this point, you might get lucky one time in several tries.. or not at all.. my rule of thumbs is if after 4 tries... and it's not giving me what I want.. I'd stop spending credits on it... find a different approach or put that song aside for now

it happened sometimes to me too... it ignored the entire section.. and other times... it sings the one I didn't specifiy... such as the chorus.. or verses that I didn't have in the extend... I usually combat that by changing the extend points... starts with a second or two.. if it's not improving... I move it a little bit into the previous lines.. and extend from there... bottom line.. maybe by adjusting the extending points.. it might give you desired result.

Another long processing of an edit, thanks to the downgraded upgrade having to download the song, put it into another program in order to hear the sound you would like to fade out. It worked before on my IPad now is a completely useless tool. imagine having options like chopping, fade out, replacing a section and not having a clock displayed on where the sound waves even go, not having the ability to even play the sound you’re trying to edit in the editing interface. You should have some concern in the overall scheme of things. At least to know that there has never been any protection police. So the more you put your music out there, any music, forget AI music for a moment.... any music....Its just so easy now to go to an app and lift new fresh songs that is can be tempting for bad people to do just that.

So , though anything created by you is copyrighted, generally speaking, it's good to understand the reasoning behind having copyrights and FILING for copyrights.

It often about reading the room and knowing that already, there are incidents of people songs being found on other sites.

Why does Suno always stop at around 3:10 to 3:15 in song creation? It never used to do that in my experience. It used to always go until the song was completed or it hit the 4:00 mark. Now it costs so many more credits to make songs because who wants a song less than 3 minutes? Especially if you write your own lyrics. Also, the lyrics are all messed up on the phone app. What's up with that? It used to be so much better.

In addition, if you have to add a new ending it doesn't always match. So that is problematic as well.

Have you tried using your own lyrics? Does it give that same message? My guess is that you are using the same exact lyrics as someone else used (even though you changed the genre). Paying members' songs are copyrighted. Just to test, put some random lyrics that are unique and give it a go.

There are major issues with the replace and edit feature. It doesn't work if you want to change a lyric and keep the song exactly the same. No matter what I do it changes the way the song is sung in the section that's edited and this makes ZERO sense. Also, I see no way to remove artifacts with the editor. And V4 changes the song completely instead of just making it sound clearer and removing artifacts.
Am I missing something?

What also can help, if it's in the middle of a word, to rephrase the word into creative messes

If extending would do what you want maybe you can use a workaround with persona, take the part you want to extend and save it as persona and generate the complete song again, that works like an extension with more coherence to the rest of the song

That is exactly what I eventually did to save myself the frustration of the Edit function not working, but getting to that point with lots of trial and error came at a cost of my credits. I'm not sure what you meant by retrieve the Genre without the upload samples... so you uploaded some compositions with some style to Suno, now you want to create songs with that specific style from those without using the upload samples? I think after you uploaded, then either Cover or Extend from that upload so that Suno can create the songs base on the uploaded clip. Is that what you tried to achieve?

Just to add, I tested a remaster of a 7 minute song, since his was 6 minutes, to test if it times out. It remaster two outputs in about 4 seconds.

Maybe just a bad moment unless it's constant with every song or continual randomly among outputs over a long period of time: 1 day minimum.

Hard to tell by just one song. The large use of capital letters may even have an effect when master the fidelity up from 3.0, who knows.

As a pro writer for 17 years and writing songs since I was 6, it's nearly impossible to -- presently -- train AI to write 1) in my style or anyone elses, 2) contain nuances that make a song give you goosebumps, and 3) understand humor and drama in the same song.

One issue is as AI is generative i think it's harder to maintain a "motif" of a story or theme with the lyrics than it is with music.

While there are some interesting AI written songs, I've never found any commercial viable, just ones with a clever line or turn of phrase and some good words that can make a nice hook or title.

I would recommend looking over Terms of Service with Suno; and I would not recommend DM'ing Team Suno members; I would recommend emailing support as this is the best way to get help; I hear in the discord most user feedback is they are pretty quick to respond to emails. It can be frustrating at times; but getting the right info and help you need sometimes just takes a little bit.

It's good information to know: When you write a song, you own all rights, for most instances. In that, you wear two hats , you're 100% the writer, and you're 100% the publisher. As publisher you control what happens to the song. As writer you control the concept and rewrites, permissions for making derivatives and so on.

If you wish, you can sign/sell your publishing rights to a publishing company, library, record company, producer and so on.

So , technically you ARE always initially control the publishing of any song you produce/create - making you the publisher.

i have a question that may have an easy answer. How do you perm delete personas? As cool as the music you like is, and I guess some loyalty and sentiment to keep it going, there is the alternative of feeding their songs through a genre analysis, write down all the sub-genres noted and then have fun creating a song as close possible to the same sound. At least it's something to try while you wait.

Many new members have that initial urge to test out songs that have influenced them or they just like. So we all get it.

AI generative song apps are a different beast and so comes with a lot of liability they will gladly pass on to us if we don't follow the agreement.

The lyrics you just posted in your second song are also someone elses (same band found in a YouTube Video); and would be considered copyright material and plagiarism. I looked up the material and it is copywritten and is under a publishers license. So this is most likely why you got the moderators warning/couldn't generate the song warning.
