no. Just do the insert where the problem is. Replace that in the last chorus first then work your way to the front of a song. If you try in the front of the song it will roll more in line with the end of the song so you don't get what you want.

Fade out option is only for a few different genres of music , I can’t think of any rock song, heavy, metal song, reggae song that has a fade out. It’s only hip-hop when you are making a song in real life you think of it as like a concert how is it gonna sound in a concert . Real playing musicians don’t fade things out live much They write music to have endings. Suno developers you have taking that away from the creative process by removing the play button from chop.

As far as I can tell, replace is now utterly broken. I have tried it on several different songs without any successes. It either hallucinates new lyrics from other part of the songs or make up some that are complete gibberish. In some cases is also make replacements that are significantly longer than the original section, even with keep length checked.

Replace doesn't work. It messes up the whole work. It changed the tempo, in one case the voice from male to female just for one line, the tune, even the instrumentals as per it's own wish. Had to trash many a good songs along with the credits due to this. The truth hurts.

I have been working on some experimental instrumental songs and all of them are functionally un-extendable. No matter which time stamp I try from. There are goods reasons why there is a free level and paid levels, as well as good reason there are no written agreements or statements to allow free songs (belonging to Suno) to transform into commercially viable songs (belonging to you).

You can try writing Sunos support team to ask if there is any case-by-case (or song-by-song) exception.

If there is a particular song that you created using the FREE version, you can write/email to Suno and ask for the commercial license and you may obtain your license, but I would assume that ONLY if you then sign up on one of the subscription packages...

I found two major issues with the most recent version, regarding edit

• when editing a song and forcing instrumental, that instruction is completely ignored, I tried 6 gens, same thing, AI just makes up new lyrics, sometimes not in a language I know, that sounds like English.
• when replacing a section, it replaces a lot more than that section, and changes the rhythm / pacing of the melody, so kinda pointless. Say I want to replace one verse, it replaces that + half the song.
  overall, they make editing songs a lot less useful than it could have been

what you want is to create the clip of the song with you singing in it... verses and chorus... keep it about 2 min, then use Suno upload feature... once you uploaded, then use Cover feature then put the lyric in the box, then try to Cover it.. Suno will try its best to recreate that song in certain style you choose. It might take a few tries to get it the way you want. Just keep in mind, if your upload has vocal, you can't set it public afterward.. but you can still download it and showcase somewhere else.

I record a song at a certain rhythm, created by me, and with my voice (it could even be a different voice), then Suno would place the instruments according to the rhythm of the song.

I put the audio once and Suno did it perfectly as I wanted. But since I didn't have the signature, he cut the audio to 60 seconds and repeated the first verses of the song for 2 minutes.

If the short gens were from/ in your extension, then it may not be reading or propagating from anything previous and so just throwing short gens with no information to continue. So, if "spin spin " was a new line, you make be right and an indication you might try further previous in the time mark to start the extension. Assuming those are extensions gens.

If not, then it's something else of course.

And in doing so, gives you short generations because it started with, it thinks, nothing and ended the generation as if extending from a blank spot.

In case you did not know, this is primarily a community-ran server. There are almost no official staff present to answer questions here.

What happened is that the auto-moderator, ChatGPT, detected copyright lyrics. Even if the lyrics are public domain, what likely happened is that whatever database the moderator uses, detects copyright status as a whole instead of individual components.

What likely happened is someone had their rendered version of the song with that lyrics copyrighted which resulted in what you are getting (similar reason why Happy Birthday lyrics flags moderation alert too)

Major labels have multiple copyright registration and there are international copyright treaties)

I see, there are two reasons I can think of this:

1. There was a false flag in their detection system. Use an app like Shazam to ensure your song does not flag any known submissions
2. TuneCore may purposely be giving that message when it detects AI music. TuneCore has been known to be anti-AI and still are despite their AI partnerships.

In either case, so long as a real positive is not present, you will need to contact TuneCore support team to get more details and have the issue resolved. There is nothing you can do Suno-wise

The letter says that it has determined by their own measure (or whether you told them) that you did not record this song on your own, but was recorded by a third party. That's all. So unless you can prove you recorded it without any other assistance, they are asking for the mechanical license or other agreement saying the song is yours to do what you wish, including recording or remixing it further in a DAW as a derivative or cover.

They ask for proof that it's yours, so you can start with the TOS and any evidence since then of your involvement with the song.

Since they specifically ask for a license and nothing else, they may be specifically limiting proof to a license disregarding any other legally acceptable document, and I guess that's their discretion. We can certainly outright own the rights to a song by other means, but if theyll only accept a license, that can be quite limiting. This means you're having to show something that won't ever exist.

Let us know how they respond in the letter.

Assuming that isn't a real song, it's probably just a bug in the moderation unfortunately. Suno has been making changes, has been especially flakey lately. You can probably change something random and it will work, or wait.

Replace can be used to change a verse in your song, but it is trickier to change the verse AND change the gender at the same time. Are the words also different or is it just the gender? You may able to use a Cover to flip just the gender if you are lucky too.

I'm not saying I have the answer, I'm saying it helps to know what Tunecore will NOT accept as well. Suno has potential to achieve broadcast quality and take your tracks over the top. Below is a new workflow I invented last week. It has its limitations (perhaps serious) and requires a bit of work and luck, but can give you clean vocals and music.

Due to limitations of the Cover feature, for this to truly be useful and hassle-free, the good folks at Suno would need to do their magic to make this into a 1-click "Broadcast Quality" feature.

Enough of that. Here's the workflow. Use at your own credits-risk. Read limitations below.

1. "Get Stems" of your favorite track.
2. "Remaster" both vocal stem and instrumental stem (This step is required because you currently can't get to the next step without it).
3. Create a "Cover Song" for each remastered stem. (Leave "Style of Music" blank. Enable the Instrumental switch for the instrumental stem).
4. Listen to covers and re-run if not satisfied. Pick your favorites.
5. Download both original stems and cover stems.
6. In your DAW, bring in all 4 stems.
7. Use original stems to line up the cover stems correctly.
8. Discard original stems and make final timing adjustments.

With luck, if everything works out, you'll have a broadcast quality track at the end.

Limitations (where Suno can step in and fix things):

• Cover length seems to have a 3:18 limit.
• Because of how covers work, don't expect 1:1 parity with your original track (need Suno magic for that).
• Covers will change the timing and length of the vocal and instrumental stems.
• The cover won't follow the original exactly, possibly making recombining the stems in your DAW difficult and might make it just unusable.

The potential for broadcast quality is there... and if Suno took this on as a challenge, they could make it function perfectly, giving us a 1-click broadcast quality solution.

Have fun with it and if you find it useful (or not), report back how this worked, or any modifications to the workflow that helped improve the end result.

The video generation is broken from the last update. It's been 3 days that I cannot generate a single video without an out of sync lyrics, and also for the old songs that I had previously generated and downloaded videos, but now changing only the cover or title. And it's not only some simple out of sync that is small delay or something, its like skipping lines and verses.

It could be as simple as Suno is randomly reading a single click as , say, 5 clicks. They recently resolved a big issue of a click prolonging and "re-clicking" onto whatever was visually beneath the first click in that area. Now all that works great.

okey i think i found out what the bug is:
so i was trying to make a song with lyrics of a famous dutch song. but there were some words that suno didnt accept.
when i get this messages two times in a row, then i get the queue messages. but when i refresh it all or use a new account and try it with a song with accepted words it just works normal.
so my guess of the bug is that if you get the "declined cause of lyrics" message the program still thinks your genereating a song which is not happening. and because i cant do many at the same time it thinks im doing like 4 or 6 at the same time

And smart deductions that it lingers in a buffer after a decline. The occassional working in "custom-off" mode was definitely a clue it might be related to "custom" mode. It all fits now.

Ill look for repeats with other members. Still a bug, but maybe cause and effect only.

First, i will say there is no "support team" in this channel for discussing techniwues and trick for using Suno. But as a member here as the rest of you, im happy to talk a bit about your issue.

I will point out first that is little to do but to click the SSO icon in order to log in. The option is to put your register phone number as the login credential.

What happens when click one of the login icons: Apple/Discord/Google/Microsoft?

Does Google ask for your email or password? Normally, clicking the Google icon would automatically log you in.

1. If it asks for email/password for Google, then that is a direct issue with your account with Google. Certainly try another app where you need to use the Google [SSO] icon to enter. There should be many available. This can test your Google authentication.

2. If clicking does nothing and you are not granted access into Suno, then that may be a direct issue with your account with Suno.

I've seen many comments about the update directly related to Replace. My solution this past week was to wait it out and not use Suno. Didn't spend credits, and got my yard work done. I'll go back in today and start looking at the Replace issue. I'm curious to see what's going on.

Is there a way to direct Suno on the rythm/cadence of using my lyrics? I feel like the output is using a sycopated cadence that doesn't really match what I want (or expected). Like running two lines of a verse together with a fast cadence. Or putting emphasis on the wrong syllable.

"System error" can be a pop up error if there is something consistently happening with your submitting generations or in your account in general. Anything from unverified IP address, using VPNs, multiple accounts , repeated infractions. If all of those are null, then other factors such as internet or even country or ISP access may be fouling the works, a bad client handshake from the browser, and so on.

The "system error" is pretty generic and difficult to pinpoint, but if it's continual, it's not common with everyone and seems to be a case by case issue with each member.

Most lyric based errors show a specific reason such as lyrics may be blocked for being offensive, or even just generic phrases, copyright issues and so on.

This week we did have system issues to affect everyone at the same time. But as of Sunday, any "system error" would have to be looked at as, and likely, an individual issue. Email support and go back step by step to see if there is anything that may trigger it.

Try another browser, or course, as part of testing.

Lots of people don't realize, for instance, that they can't use a VPN, as it's against TOS. Once, logging directly, things work.

Small changes like splitting the phrases onto two lines -- or combining words all onto one line. Using dashes to create pauses. Spelling some words out phonetically.

During re-write, I may make a change... listen ... then make another change until the vocals gets it right. And rinse and repeat many times until perfect. This may mean using lots of credits to get it right. It's part of the process.

I must say, I enjoy the idea of generating about 10 outputs , or more, at once to review and choose the best in cadence and rhythm. In a sense, that seems to be a needed step, in my opinion. At times , one really hits the mark and saves me the struggle of re-arranging lyrics.

Capitalizing words will get them shouted, which you probably dont want, but I wonder if capitalizing the first letter might give a bit more emphasis. There's been discussion on capitalizing, but honestly, I haven't kept up.

But now Suno is giving me everything except the voice I selected. I understand it's still in beta, but why did it work initially and not anymore? Is there some kind of trick to fix this?

• Do not use copyrighted lyrics/media
• If you are using v3.0, note that the character limit is actually 1250 char, not 3000

I think the issue is simply that they have a large database of songs and probably now use AI to scan and compare your tracks with existing ones. If something matches closely enough, they reject your submission. Even if you write your own lyrics or optimize them with AI, the music itself is AI-generated and draws from existing works. Since you don't know all these sources, you have no insight or control over this. Therefore, there's always an element of luck involved. Just try keeping your lyrics and creating a few alternative songs. Eventually, you'll find one you like that works out well.

Do you really want to risk publishing your song on another platform where it's accepted without issues, only to face a million-dollar lawsuit later for copyright infringement?

Did you perhaps use a different email address for registration? I personally have five different email addresses. For example, I registered directly via Gmail. However, when I manually enter my Gmail credentials, it doesn't let me log in. So, it's always a bit tricky.

Let's say you currently don't have much money, so there's nothing for them to gain right now—but then your songs become popular, everything blows up, and you're earning a lot from them. That's exactly when they'll show up and take everything from you. It's better to stay safe and avoid the hassle of a legal storm where only the wealthy can truly win.

There's currently a lawsuit against Suno for copyright infringement, and this case is likely going to set a major legal precedent. In the focus on the "license" , don't overlooked that some distributor is looking for full waiver of liability from anyone before giving a member access to promoting AI assisted songs.

Suno has no obligation to help take further liability than what's already explained and spelled out in the contract.

There are more ways than licenses that convey ownership and deemed copyrights. The TOS is one.

Ill give an example: it's year 2010, you send your lyrics off to a studio and get music, arrangement and vocals produced with your lyrics. You send to a distributor and they publish, file and send to a Library service and promote to 40 radio stations. Where's the license?

You don't need a document. You own it. But there are a few things that are good to do in prep for commercial release. @half dragon mentioned DistroKid and LANDR. ( I like the former more than the later but I"m starting to compare a couple others because DK gets expensive at scale...) You should also register with Performance Rights Organization. (BMI, ASCAP, AllTrack, SOCAN, SoundExchange) and probably the MLC as well. Just the legal side of music is overwhelming. But a PRO and Distributor is enough in most cases.

Your distributor, such as TuneCore, will handle your earnings from streams directly, so you're already covered for digital releases.

However, if your music is ever played publicly—like on radio, TV, clubs, restaurants, or live venues—then you'd need to be registered with GEMA to collect royalties for those plays.

In short:

For Spotify and YouTube only:
TuneCore alone is perfectly sufficient.

You'd need to sign up with GEMA, which involves additional fees and registration.

I'd take a couple of steps back and read the MOST RECENT terms of Service of ANY service one is interested in joining, found by initiating a membership but not yet joining a service. NOT any 3 year old TOS that you may find on a Google search.

Companies have no obligation to update any publicly available contracts or terms of services. The one you find-and-sign..... or read-and-bleed (😄) when agreeing and joining is the most current and legally binding one.

To put things in perspective, I ask myself what "style" or "genre" is "female/male". I think Suno can recognize a voicing or vocal as an instrument, so it can deliniate a vocal from other instruments fairly well. But just as you can't well exclude a piano, but have to exclude styles and genres which often use pianos (which are many).

If you want a male or female voice, try adding style such as (kpop for female) at the end (originally) of your prompt list to help seed what metatags you're using in the lyrics. Its OK, it won't affect the style of your piece but add weight to the output of female voices.

There is nothing much in common between hmmm k-pop, femme-folk, musical, opera, Enka (Japanese) except all have a female vocal prominence. Use of these or all of these can have a good influence in bringing in a female vocal to a hard core banger. You can even exclude these styles to help influence a male only vocal.

Remember as well that a male contra-Tenor and female contralto can overlap- so what exactly does "male " and " female" mean to Suno?

If you've listened to Sunos outputs with male/female duets you can sometimes catch one voice slowly changing in timbre to sound like the opposite gender though nothing changes in range of the range of the melody.

It's all interesting to ponder.

There is a way to do the persona thing without a persona. You can crop a song down to 6secs and Extend from there and get something that is generally more consistent than Suno Personas

Well, that's not entirely true. Once the song is created, I can go into the crop option, select "replace section" at the top, and swap out individual words or sentences. Then, Suno generates two new variations for that specific part, and I pick the one I prefer. The original voice selected at the beginning is maintained during this process.

That's actually a great idea! It would make a lot of sense if Suno offered the option to create 30-second samples, instead of burning through all your credits right away. You'd quickly get a sense of whether the style and voice are working for you, and then Suno could generate the rest of the song only after you've selected your preferred sample. Charging fewer credits for these shorter samples would save users a ton of resources, and you'd know early on if you're headed in the right direction.

If you follow the Laffer Curve on the economics I think it makes sense for users and for Suno.
The actual cost of generation goes down by a factor of 3x for Suno but the time waiting for generations to finish goes down resulting in Sunolings pushing the button about 1.5x approx.

If the song is registered with Content ID, or copyrighted, it is likely tripping up the copyright detection system (as it would not know if it actually belongs to you or not).

If you have proof of ownership/rights over the song/lyrics, you should get in contact with [e-mail] and see if they can help you with the process (e.g. allow the staff to upload your music to your account) or they will let you know if they cannot make any exceptions.

It happens. The content moderator probably changes daily or weekly.

It can be a number of things. From obvious violations of threats, gore, secks, politics, strong vulgarity, and so on.

It's recently seems to be trying to avoid frequently used phrasing, or clichés. I can only guess as a copyright song is popular, maybe finding similar phrases could be a sign of copying. Who knows. At least it keeps cliché lines out.

Other may simple be culturally offensive or age apparent, so it's blocked and we get to write Suno and try to unblock it.

Most have gotten success with testing a few lines to find out what is triggering it and modify the lines.

For you to say "as far as I'm concerned" is an odd phrasing that may suggest you have a wider margin of acceptance than the content moderator. Maybe have a mod or someone else check out the lyrics and give an objective opinion so as not to use too many credits testing.

Hello everyone! I’m about to lose it... I’ve contacted support a dozen times this month, and still no human response.

I paid the 10 bucks monthly subscription for the "Pro Plan," I have the receipt, and the amount was debited from my bank account, but I still have no added credits or active subscription.

So if I take another subscription, I’ll have to pay twice, and it pisses me off that I even have to consider this.

2. if paid through Apple Pay or Google Play you may only have a "confirmation" that a payment was initiated but the funds though were never sent. This has been most cases.

Most issues where several days have passed have been with the payment not going through or being rejected. Most solitions have been to check you bank or credit accounts to see if your fund had ever been a) debited from account or b) returned and credited back to your account -- especially If no emailed receipt from Suno.

The last song to go beyond this sudden "cap" was my valentines song for my wife, that prompted a 3:42 and 4:00.

Typically, with covers and personas, they propogate off of using the seed song they are covering or attached to. The length of the original song determines how much they allocated for seeding and so that is "deducted" from the "up to 4 minutes" normally expected. As you reflect, members song can get "stuck" at 3:24, 3:18, 3:14 all being the popular time spots. Whether the song fits in that new allocated time is somewhat irrelevant to Suno, so it is often cut off.

Are your songs complete and not cut off?

@solemn thorn Glad you're back. Click subscriptions , then Edit Billing Details. Scroll to the bottom to see your history to confirm it DOES NOT show a payment for this past month (or maybe it does show a payment). What does it show?

There is nothing so unusual to have a song ending under 4 minutes. With it skipping verses, that's often a sign that it's making it's best effort to fit the song within what it thinks is enough time, so it will skip lines. That's been the history back last year around this time with 3.5. But since then, that was resolved for awhile until only recently (the past month or two) . There have been some UI changes as well this week.

There have been some reports of songs even going OVER the 4 minute mark, and we know that to be just a glitch in the gates being open and some member getting a venture in 5 minute songs.

That said, is it only on this song with these lyrics? Usually this type of issue seems to tie lyrics approaching the maximum (including metatags and line spacings). But 2000 is NOT that close.

If you run a gen with only the beginning half, does it stop at 3:18 as well?

Of course, the work around is to run half your lyrics, then extend with the rest. That could then give a cleaner result anyway. But we're trying to save you credits right?

It's not a joke, but to say, we have many members accidentally creating a second account, including me, due to the confusing log in page.

From just one member here to another: You would need to address those billing concerns directly with [e-mail] with this exact letter if you wish. They would be the authorized staff to work with you regarding this issue.

And it may be best to remove any card or personal information from the chat channel. One can easily obtain your card number from just your last four digits, mate.

In the meantime: I would at least downgrade your account to Basic so that Stripe does not continue to bill you as well as debit your account each month. I assume that's already done.

Once your renewal period passes and you either 1) did not cancel 7 days before your renewal date. Or. 2) the renewal period passed and you had no current payment source, Then the account goes in limbo and is locked. BUT..... it should still only then show a Pro subscription status 2500 credits but no way to use the service until you update payment.

Presently you say you show a Basic account. I will now assume, you may have since clicked cancel at some point. Even so, if your payment wa a applied and the account "unlocked" AND then you canceled, you would still have use of the Pro account until March 17th. You say you have receipts from Suno/Stripe that the payment was posted.

This concept you are bringing up is an overall poor design internet wide and you seem to be hinting at something I too found to be a flawed with integrating algorithms or now AI recommendations into the existing up/down vote that was not put there initially to determine an individuals preferences for suggestions. Results from Remaster 1) same time 3:23 and clean , no shimmer or hiss. Same as original but cleaner sound. 2) 4 minutes. Same.

I can't replicate the issue on a first try.

Seems to work. Choose confirm for a full song in Library while editor stayed open in the other. I've been having to work off of two browsers this week, but hadn't tried two windows in Chrome. Good to know it's there if needed.

If the song has any previously recognized vocal from an uploaed or recorded source, you are correct that it WILL NOT let you create a persona from any of those outputs in that chain: ... covers.... remasters... copies....

its there for you but its SUPER slight the audio fidelity changes at 1:59 once it does that refade or whatever it is. the bass gets hollow

now when I say hollow. I mean in your case specifically, it looses some of its bottom end. and the snare isn't as pronounced

Personas are interesting. a lot of times when I used mine it will take a part of the song I grabbed it from and add it to the new song. which it should not do.
Persona as a definition should be using that voice style and structure to be used in other songs (the tone, the inflection, etc) but it doesn't

ive had some sucess with some songs. but a lot of it is like "oh, this is ...well its a girl...but it doesn't really sound like _____"

You do not seem to be the only one enountering issues with Personas. I too have logged the issue as affecting me.
