Just tried Edge (never logged into Suno on it before) and same problem. Replace Section doesn't have any aligned lyrics. When I Remaster the song I get mispronunciations towards the end as it loses its positioning

It's quite a long song (over 5 minutes) and has a lot of characters but it's still under the 7,500

Match Lyrics to Audio tool also doesn't work as it doesn't register any lyrics to begin with.

Not all fade outs are equal. Often times you want to fade one part before another. I can see a case for AI fade out. Especially since stem splits are so poor.

If you don't have other songs generating, maybe just a glitch, try refreshing browser. Alternative if you had a bunch of failed songs, then those songs might take a few more minutes to be considered fully stopped, even though Suno gave you an error right away. (And your credits should be refunded eventually)

for the record no.2, the same issue is present when removing the metatags. I thought maybe the system is just somehow detecting where the metatags are and distributing the timestamps evenly instead of detecting the lyrics... but nope. It does detect the lyrics and follows them. But with a weird 1 second offset.

TL;DR: It's following lyrics pretty well, but it's misaligned by 1 second... And there's no way to shift the alignment. When I do it with VLC we can clearly see shifting by 1 second fixes it... but we can't do that in Suno.

The "shimmer issue" still seems to be a huge thing to fix. I get that in v3.5 and v4 as well. Sometimes almost not noticable and some songs are pretty messed up

One thing I found useful is trying to pick specific subgenres, it tends to reduce the chance of shimmers (for most categories).

That's an agreement specifically between us and Suno when we signed up. So it's Suno's world, not the real world.

In the real world, you still don't own any part of the public domain song either, but you can use to create you're own song of which that recorded derivative, or other form you DO own both copyright and ownership of. Maybe that is what you are thinking. But could you use THAT one and upload to Suno? I would suspect the TOS would then go back to #1 to say you never owned nor were granted exclusive rights initially, so you have a break in the chain and would therefore have issues with #2.

It's my understanding that many Public Domain lyrics (or someones' audio) are also being moderated to a point by Suno, as you say. Those that slip by, would be searched for eventually and removed. Do too may and possible have your account restricted. And any member as well the new Guardians can also report songs for review they feel are against TOS.

1. Check other browsers to see if they work. If no browser, Check the app to see if any access.

So.... don't extend off of 00:01. It just goes wonky and changes up on you. It's great for variety, but not good for consistency. Then, try "get whole song" first, so you have a full whole song to reach back on for 2 minute worth-- at which you pick your extend point as you wish.

i made a song with japanese words a while back, and got it to work using romaji, but admittedly the pronunciation was off on some parts and I had to tweak the spelling a little bit to think more phonetically rather than spelled properly

but this was before the update, and for the most part romaji worked well enough just with an occasional word pronounced horribly lul

It sounds like it's been put through a slight synthesizer effect to produce a worbble and echo effect. Basically just an extension of Suno's propensity to overuse autotune the longer a song goes on. It's also a consequence of audio quality diminishing as the song gets longer.

1. have an active subscription
2. create a song with a Replace Section -> Full Song
3. Create a Persona based on that song
4. let your active subscription run out
5. with no active sub, your persona access in Library is now missing (expected behavior?)
6. with no active sub, the Replace Section full song you used to make that persona also appears to be missing

Seems like it takes a while to process. I’m not sure of the process waiting time but if you don’t see any credits on your end other option is to contact support and inform them of the invite link and they’ll give you your credits for it. Hope that helps.

I found what his reply was to that other user: The subscription you have made in for example the android app are not compatible with PC. you can in theory generate on pc but you can not refill the account with the different payment method. I think the first step is to find out where you have made the sub and if everything is right with it. Not sure if that’s what happened but maybe you can check.

No backwards generation now. You need to crop song (to let model learn parts you need) and cover it. You’ll get something quite similar.

Another trick, you can edit and select first (as short as it’s possible) part and regenerate it, using NOT-exact time. If you’re lucky, you’ll get intro + start of verse. But replacement of feature usually gives very bad or random results and consumes plenty of credits to get what u need unfortunately.

Hello. I have a song that repeated the first verse (shocker) and I'm in the edit mode trying to simply remove the duplicate. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I used 'Replace Section' and literally deleted the duplicate lyrics, but every time it generates replacements, the same lyrics OR the lyrics that follow are duplicated. How do I simply delete the duplicates?

I also thought Crop would work, but it apparently just lets you choose one whole section to keep, rather than one section to delete in the thick of the song.

Every tool would be a convenience for sure. Working out the genre is sort of contrary to Sunos objective: to take whatever is provided and make a generative output.

That said, if you want a better version of what you upload and keep the same style and genre, then working out the style before uploading is just as convenient to do that with other apps as it doesn't stop the flow of generating your output to be able to do that even before you start.

Sounds like you have 2500 renewed credits, renewed somewhere in the past days or so, and 100 extra credits?

And often then, many members will have a frozen subscription until their payment posts in Sunos accounts. Often a payment simply failed and helpful to check your bank/credit accounts first to make sure they've been debited.

After that, as I say, if you're anywhere east of Sweden all the way to New Zealand, then it can take up to about 3 days for a manual (non-renewed) payment to post.

I don't think Replace Sections tool is intended to be used for "deleting" sections... one option is to find a spot before the part you want to delete, then extend from there and remake the rest of the song. Or editing it out offline in the daw

Whenever I use it, my first creations of songs are always 3m 20s meaning having to use extend because it’s 40 seconds short of the full 4M 00s allowed.

It may not be a bug as it is the process of how personas work. Larger songs become more songs for seeding a persona. So personas allocate a bit of time for them to propogate from. In this scenario, 40 seconds for the seed space, 3:20 for the song.

To be clear, it is "up to" 4 minutes that an original song generation can go. That also means you're allowed "as little as 9 seconds." Usually, that's not the case, where songs, even Personas, typically go over 2 minutes, but as you mention, no more than 4 minutes.

I can create an instrumental or worded and they will always be a set length with persona.

If I look at any song which created that persona in the first instance these are the exact same length.

Therefore the personas are capturing song length and not just the sound.

But you can download the full track and use a third party software to separate the stems too. Up to you. Do what's best!

Possible but not easy. If you Cover a song you can actually get a key shift or something, it can happen, but I couldn't tell you how to prompt for it so that doesn't help much. I have a hunch you could maybe try someting fancy with the Upload function and modifying the song yourself in an audio editor. This would be either using an example of the new key as a segment in the original song, probably the last part of the 2:00, maybe 20 seconds. Then you could maybe get Suno to repeat the Cover (the first 1:40 anyway that fits in the upload) in a new key. But this is a guess. Basically I did things like this with Upload to mix between two different songs, and the key was all over the place, so if you get lucky it would probably work.

TLDR: Possibly but mostly down to luck or experimental stuff.

I don't have the music fundamentals, but if you can shift the whole 2:00 of the og song into a new key even in a crude way in an audio editor, maybe Covering that could clean it up.

I used to be able to do a work around if I played with it enough. I could get extensions and replace sections to work halfway. Decently, they just sing nonsense lyrics. Now, no matter what you do, it doesn't matter if you wind up the lyrics correctly or not. If you're even trying to replace the same exact lyrics that was in the original song, I just run into this over and over again of it, just singing nonsense and it won't sing even real words. It won't sing anything. It just sings fake words and it just ruins. Every ruins the ruins using this service completely. It went from D minus to an F Minus.

I found a fix for that problem at least most of the time if you don’t like that gibberish, then you pay attention to the last vocal that you heard before you changed it . you might even have to go up a little bit more in the verse or chorus or even redo it a little bit more earlier in the extension itself and usually does a good job to fix it .even if you’re so into the melody that it produced sometimes making another one might even make a better one altogether

See a clock and know exactly the times you need all in one screen was phenomenal. Now we have a bunch of garbage. Yes, sorry, should have mentioned that. The short 2 or 3 sec ones were all refunded. All the other ones I tried I just got error messages that "the clip got stuck" and to try it again. But it never works.

Oh yeah dont get me started on that. You try and replace just a section and then it somehow makes the rest of your song have this weird 8 bit quality once inawhile. I think you may have something @drifting perch they recently changed servers somehow. At least I'm pretty sure that's what all the API bad Juju was earlier in the week. But if the new deploys for replace were misconfigured in some way they could produce lower bitrate audio.

But how if I changed my subscription to remastered that song with Pro plan, will it changes ownership of the song because remastered would create a brand new song file? I have the first chorus fixed. But I need the 2nd chorus to sound like the first. You know like a normal song. But no matter what I do to try to put the fixed line into the 2nd chours it makes the 2nd one sound like it's from a totally different song. Violation doesnt only mean offensive. Unfortunately, it seems to often include frequently used phrases , it seems. There's some logic to that, I see as a songwriter.

Often it just means rearranging lines or substitute out some words, if you can see certain phrases are a bit cliché.

So check out your lines. If thats not it, then do some testing in other directions.
