Agreed. It's not worth pursuing the minimal monetization that might happen. I don't think people realize just how difficult it is to monetize music effectively. My 80-minute album has been listened to 500 times on YouTube, which is great for a non-promoted prog rock extravaganza. But I'm thousands of subs and hours away from monetization. It's not going to happen.

I was a huge fan of the alternative Christian music scene in the early 90s. There was crazy variety in there, and music being made that was better than many of the bands in the mainstream arena. There wasn't a ton of money in it back then, but there was enough that many, many great albums were made. Now, pretty much 100 artists (if that) make up the whole of modern Christian music. It's ridiculous.

One of the key reasons that alternative Christian music scene existed was because of one man -- Gene Eugene, who himself fronted a band called Adam Again. He produced hundreds of albums at his studio called The Green Room in the LA area. Made a ton of music possible. Sadly, he died unexpectedly at age 38 in 2000. It was at that point that the scene started to die. So I absolutely believe one dedicated artist with crazy talent can make a lot of things happen.

But still, the major labels were still spending money to get those records made. And now the labels are running with sure things.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much interest in anything unique or unusual in the Christian music scene, at least not on a commercial level. There are still a lot of bands out there in that broad schema that have been creating for 40+ years, though.

On the topic of making money and touring...Mary Spender just put out an extremely enlightening video on her tour costs and how much money she lost touring. Despite having 770k subs, she sold a total of 1,200 tickets for her UK tour. Ow.

Just proof that touring is not a surefire way of making any money, and in fact can lose you quite a bit. In her case, roughly $15k US.

There's a reason why being a studio musician or a musician in a local church are a couple of the best gigs for typical players out there. Steady work and steady pay. Not terribly creative venues, typically, but not the potential for significant losses.

There's an issue where Chrome occasionally refuses to download .wav files from Suno, where Firefox has no issue for some reason, so I'm curious to see how they "play differently" with Suno 😛

That's tricky, if you want to achieve it in one gen. Sometimes it works but I would recommend to split up the parts with the different voices and extend with female or male vocals.

No, that's not necessary. It's a well known and highly discussed problem. It's called The Shimmer. Since the introduction of V4 it has been a problem. With certain genres and instruments it is worse than with others. Cymbals are deadly, so to speak. Yesterday, I had very clear generations almost no Shimmer. Today it is back. There's a solution in the v4-feedback thread you can read. In some cases it helps. The longer a song runs the more difficult it gets to get a clear outcome. But it is possible.

I don't think so. Many users send credits down the drain with the Shimmer problem. 🤪 Go to the v4 feedback thread and read up on the solution. Maybe it will work for you. You can also try to download the Stems and put them together with Audacity. That helps also (sometimes).

Just to double check: you clicked "Edit Song Details", then click in "Displayed Lyrics" box. Type "space bar" (add an empty space to the lyrics, just so they are changed) then click "Save Song Details". After you do this, you should see in red text "aligning lyrics". Do you see that red text? (After the alignment is finished, the red text disappears.)

If the composition (structure, melody, etc) is what you want to preserve, and not the exact style of music, then you can probably fix the Shimmer by doing a V4 Cover of the song.

You will need to try a few different prompts, to change the song/style enough, but not too much. It's really just a matter of how picky you want to be about the final result. I would suggest changing the style prompt a lot between each try, very different styles, and also styles that tend not to have shimmer problems, acoustic, less "full" sounding, less drums, etc.

Try prompting an "unplugged" version of the song for example. I can't recommend specific styles, but if you catch me tomorrow, I could take a look at the song and recommend some. (About to sleep.)

For adjust some words, you can also use replace option, go to edit, click on replace, high light the part where you want to change the lyrics, but dont' highlight exactly where the lyrics part that you want to replace, give it some extra seconds from the beginning and end so the AI can figure out the beats...

Yes. Replace section will keep the song the same. Remaster is what you want to make the song sounds the same, I think genereate cover, sometime change the song a bit. try both and see.

Fixing Shimmer/Ringing is a hard and expensive (credit, time, patience and whatever you're going to invest) task, but, once you get it done, it's awesome.
I had a song HEAVILY plagued by ringing (not shimmer), getting nearly impossible to use around 3 min. needed 500 credit, lot of remastering, but finally had "the one" nearly perfect.. still some flaws but in some parts it was even better than the original.
So what you need is just recalling a movie i love the "Never Give up, Never Surrender" mood on Suno

If the same thing happens in the app AND the browser, it's likely a payment processing issue - Suno will show the credits but you won't have access to them until the issue is resolved. Check for any payment error emails from Suno and take a look at the billing history (on the billing details page) to see if there are any issues. If everything looks OK, you'll probably have to reach out to [e-mail]

If you just want to change the lyrics a bit, use Replace Section or Extend. That'll get you better results. Persona is most useful for generating new songs using the same or similar voice.

If it's stopping mid lyric, that's probably a bug.

Replace Section is a finicky tool. If you're not getting what you want after several attempts, change the selection, make it shorter or longer, start it at a better place, etc.

v4 has a 4m limit, but if the persona uses a 40s clip for context, the max length that can be "extended" from that context using a persona would be the remaining 3:20, not unlike an extension being limited to 2m after context

They're working on expanding the different types of payment methods they can accept -- definitely still a long way to go, but being added to the app markets seems to have helped in a large number of instances (though it also adds another intermediary when trying to resolve issues, trade-offs, I suppose)

@daring lava Having "Technical" in the name of this channel leads users to believe that this is the best channel for technical support with their account, web interface, or app issues. Unfortunately, they're not wrong since Suno hasn't set up an actual obvious Help channel to deal with these issues. "Feedback" clearly isn't conveying the same message to these new users that "Technical Discussion" does. The flood of support issues, which often come in waves, can be disruptive to prompting/engine discussions and can also end up quickly getting lost in the flow of conversation when the channel is active.

I'd move the entire Feedback category to the top of the discord, below the Info category, and rename it to "Help and Feedback". If you're able to create personas from other songs, but that song keeps giving you issues when you try to create a persona from it, you could use the "Crop" feature & select the entire song -- this would make a duplicate that you might be able to make a persona from.

That said if it's a song that somehow started as an audio upload with vocals detected (even false positive), then you won't be able to make a persona out of it (you also wouldn't be able to set the song to public, if you wanted to quickly test if that were the case)

1. One subscription should follow your account across all formats.

Having said that, you may have inadvertently created a separate / new account using the Android app. Maybe online you created using email and the app you created using phone. Both accounts might reflect the same phone number or profile information in essence, but nonetheless, inadvertently created a new account on the app which you would have to log in to the same online. That's is sometimes a thing that happens.

2. The Android app is a base functioning app, often for newcomers to enjoy having access and just have fun creating songs. The edit features found online... well, many are not yet available on the app and that may simply be your delimma in trying to maneuver about and find how to edit.

3. tying the two, as you may be under another account now, you would not be able to see the library files of your other account, assuming.

One thing certainly to try is to sign out and log back into your ONLINE browser site using first your email... then your phone... and also try the Google sign-in trigger. Making sure you are on the "Sign IN" screen and not the "Create New Account" screen. Both look similar as they only switch out the form as needed.

If you see you're signing into two separate accounts... one with 50 credits... the other with 2500... then you will have to work out , perhaps with accounts staff, what to do between your two accounts.

Again. It's all a guess, but makes sense at least by your description. Let us know if it's a guess in the wrong direction.

At the start, though, get a convo going with accounts at [e-mail] if later you can't resolve on your own, you'll be ahead to have their help.

The moderation is automated, so there's likely to be some content that gets flagged as a false positive and gets blocked when it shouldn't be, just the same as some content gets a false negative and gets let through when it shouldn't.

Another option is making an extension for each gender part and defining the specific gender in the style tag.

With the discussion of personas...I have used them from the beginning to make it simple to keep my genre tags together, and I've made a lot of songs with my personas, but I've never really noticed that they have the same vocalist or even vocal stylings. There's definitely a lot of variance in the effectiveness of personas, as some I've had were way more apt to regurgitate the original song (regardless of prompt that I used with it), where some seem a lot more apt at picking up the previous styles and continuing them.

Disregarding Bach, I get good orchestration just from a word or two. In writing a musical, I've gotten nice ones with "French horn, quartet", "musical" and "tubular bells, sunrise" , so sometimes the odd ball prompts get nice results.

You might try avoiding the word classical and go with Baroque, ensemble strings, chamber music, quartet, etc. You can add in "Bach" and see what happens.

For fun I used most of these and got a couple of results. None of these did i toggle "instrumental" .... i always use Custom lyrics only and leave blank:

I believe because this is the interlude part so it plays just one vibrato because it got from the descriptive notes in the begin. May be. I'll say it a slightly different way. If a bank monitors charges from an unusual source, and then notices repeated attempts, whether failed or succeeded, it may still block the card at some point. Such as someone using a card to repeatedly buy credits within a couple of hours at a gambling site.

You know your bank best though as you say.

I hope it gets resolved for you. If they're not closed and you have time, or your mom, whomever, doesn't hurt to make a 10 minute call.

I’m reaching out here because I haven’t received a response to the two emails I sent to your support address (on December 14 and 18). Unfortunately, the issues I’m experiencing with your platform are severe, and I need assistance urgently.

The Problems:
Drastic drop in track quality: Previously, I could generate several good tracks out of 20 attempts. Now, after 50 attempts, I haven’t been able to get a single decent result. The quality has regressed significantly.
Ads embedded in tracks: Some of my generated tracks now contain ads like “use our app” directly in the audio. This is highly unprofessional and completely unacceptable.
Logo on track covers: All generated covers now include the Suno logo, which wasn’t the case before.
Prompt issues: The platform no longer follows prompts accurately. Tracks sound robotic, lack natural accents or musical styles, and often ignore the specific instructions I provide.
Shortened track lengths: Even with the same prompts that previously generated 4-minute songs, I now consistently get tracks that are only 1.5–2 minutes long.
Version 4 errors: I can’t successfully remaster tracks from version 3.5 to version 4—every attempt results in broken or unusable tracks.
As a paying subscriber and long-time user who previously received 1,000 credits as recognition for supporting your platform, I’m deeply disappointed by the current state of your service. What used to be a fantastic tool for creating high-quality music has now become almost unusable.

What I Need:
A clear explanation of why these issues are happening and what is being done to address them.
A timeline for when the platform will return to its previous level of quality.
Compensation for the large number of credits I’ve lost on failed attempts due to these issues.
I’ve supported Suno because I saw its potential, but the current state of the service is not acceptable for a paying user. Please address these problems as a priority.

Most of the time, it is the prompts entered. Try to be more specific in your style, like specific subgenre instead of using a broad genre. I cannot offer more advice without seeing the prompt.

Ads embedded in tracks: Some of my generated tracks now contain ads like “use our app” directly in the audio.

Hmm, I mean, if you listen to the "ad", it should be easily to tell what the issue is. (Hint: it is not an ad, it is a notice that the song is being generated through suspicious means or your account if flagged).

You will get these if your account if flagged for suspicious behavior like using API, third party app, fraudulant payments, etc. It can even be from VPN if connected to certain servers.

If you did not do anything suspicious or illegal, let me know and I will link you to the form to fill out to clear the flag.

To be clear, the team will investigate your account first. In my opinion, there were some safety, or rather copyright concerns for allowing to upload human voices to use to accompany lyrics and music. It's too often, common and tempting for anyone to have fun uploading celebrity voices that it ruins it for the rest of us. It's certainly possible to emulate ones own voice as we can see from other AI apps.

Add to that, it seems Suno also had its means of trying to randomize and often homogenize sounds, voices, instrument, and such that it had often removed distortions, oddities, hisses, and hums, all part of human voices, that it was difficult to expect anything much.

Recently, Suno seems to have compensated in 4.o and weekly revisions by creating It's owns voices with those gravel, whispery, sultry, country, bellows and other styled voices.

@rustic drift Including a bit more of ones own voice to come through on audio uploads. And so.far, it's done pretty good. Here is a test I just did for this comment , just having woke this morning with my awful voice. It's pretty much on point with my voice.

so I've discovered that if you make covers of each stem you get better result. vocal are really only vocal and same for the instru. and the timing stay consistent so you can mix them back up with audacity. a few artifacts here and there but it suits my dubstep/whatever fetish 😉

To all having any issues with REPLACE... I've used twice today and no issues to get what I wanted within 2 gen clicks (4 samples). So it does work. I think it's just a means of small steps, finesse, review and patience before clicking the Select button. Definitely a learning curve.

Both involved either replacing a word..... or changing a prompt... both within a 10 - 14 second span selected.... both selecting the best 5 to 7 second range left and right of the lyrics to replace. Outcomes were 13, 19, 24 seconds and 2 minutes. So it can be "of little use" 70% of time, perhaps. . I chose the 13 seconds and it was 👌. Cost: 20 credits.

After purchasing the pro plan and using the credits, I haven't been able to buy more or switch plans. Tried different payment methods and non worked. Bank shows no attempted charges made, only the one charge from the pro subscription. Attempting this on the mobile app brings me to a blank redirection URL that doesn't redirect. Charges go through fine with other services, just not suno. Big rip, was cool while it lasted.

It is much easier to get accented vocals when using English lyrics in 3.5 but I haven't done much testing for it in 4.0.
You may be able to get the accent if you repeated French a few times in the style prompt, e.g. "French accent girl vocals, francais mademoiselle, female French singer, Paris woman"

Oh, sorry, misread. Yeah, French is supported, just have the lyrics in French for best results. You can mix languages as well but may need to denote the language in metatags if the AI cannot easily distinguish it

If your lyrics are in French, you shouldn't need to do anything else. But for a female voice, in the style prompt, be sure to write "female, female, female" in English (French could work, but would be more of a happy accident if it did). Style words in general should be in English, but that's not a hard rule, for some instruments or very specific styles, foreign words may be better. But those are exceptions, I recommend starting in English.

French is supported. I've had success with writing custom lyrics in French, and without custom I simply said "a [insert genre] québécois song about [topic]" (without the square brackets)

I'm guessing if it supports the québécois dialect, you might have some success with other regional dialects (maybe even more with the quantity of French from France songs that exist for it to train on)

Upload is your best bet. There's no simple workflow to do what you want, but it is possible. A few helpful tips: make plentiful use of the Crop feature to focus on the chord progression that you want to target, and create shorter duration clips to build on (via Cover, Persona, Extend, or even re-Upload after using a manual audio editor). You want to influence Suno enough to follow the progression, but not the music style, or audio quality. Also, don't try to do it in one try, or one shot as they say in AI. You covered your upload and you don't like how it sounds. If you Cover that Cover, does it preserve the progression, but sound better? And so on.

On another subject: I get varying vocals from the same persona. I ended up liking one of them even if it didn't respect my original persona, but I couldn't create a persona from that track as it used the original persona in the creation. Ended up having to remaster it which altered it a bit and picking one of the remasters to make a new persona.

If your song fits within 3:00 or just a little over, then you can focus on structure and composition, and fix the song quality at the end with a final Cover or Remaster.

I think Suno is at its best when you give it flexibility. If you try to get both sound quality and the progression you want at the same time, it's a little like trying to hit two jackpots at the same time. Whenever you can break something into steps, it will save a lot of credits, you can just do one jackbot, then the other.

I haven't specifically prompted chord progressions, so I can't offer to specific advice, but I'm fairly confident the strategies I use for prompting other tricky things apply. I mainly want to emphasize not trying to just get lucky, but keep trying different approaches, and changing prompsts. For example, you can try using the Replace feature on an audio upload where you have the chord progression on the left and the right, and generating new content in between them. That may lock down Suno more, because you are forcing it to start and end with the progression you want. Alternatively, if it works with the progression only on one side, you could use a high quality clip on the other, and Replace between them, to get Suno to blend between the progression and quality.

"full verse 5 chords followed by chorus, 4 chords" is likely pretty hard though. I think it can be done, but maybe save this for later, it's more challenging for sure. I think a possible future Merge/Join feature would help (I keep requesting it...)

Thanks for the compliment. It was for example purpose only. Keep in mind that suno will pitch correct and make one's voice sound a bit better than it might be.

As for the steps, it's just a matter of uploading audio or clicking "record" and singing directly. Once accepted and you have a saved output of your raw audio generated, then 2) you extend THAT output , posting in the same lyrics which you just sang so it will have a reference. Adding any style prompt you wish. J put "Big Band" on my sample. That's all you need do and the result is what you hear from my sample.

If you do not post any lyrics in the lyric box, as I recall, Suno should , during that extend process, make up what it can as a nice song structure of your recorded audio, as well as transcribe any audio it understood and type text into the lyrics. The text may have misspellings and misunderstood words- so you just edit as needed.

You can work with the extension, or just Get Whole Song, after having finished that extension, then work off of the Full Song of original audio and suno-song combined.

Yes, styles with heavy instrumentation (let's not talk about cymbals ...) tend to get more shimmer. I noticed it in my few metal and gothic rock pieces. 👀 And it sadly happens more often after you hit the 3:30 mark.

Yea. I use almost the time. Frankly, Suno is bad for making monotonous melodies. Killer chord progressions, but monotonous melodies. Extends get around that. Suno perks up a bit on the melody when either extending or replacing.

One workflow I do musically is start off with one intro style, genre style and get a good few seconds, then extend from that while prompting something different. Seems to do that well when building melodies. Then Suno will remember it and quote it later in the song.

I will sometimes get full song and extend from that at an earlier point to "lock in" those changes so it remembers it better. Or at least it seems to do so when I do it.

Suno has to take lyrics, extrapolate how many words in a meter/minute and how much can fit in a 3 to 4 minute slot. If many lyrics, and the genre still not fast enough, perhaps, then suno will just lop off lines, rearrange things and ... in the past just repeats stanzas.

Test by copying lyrics, clear the Create screen, paste lyrics and remove 2/3s of the bottom lyrics. Run a gen and see if the first verse gets repeated. If not , then it may be better to just run a couple stanzas, then extend with a couple more, and continue. A few more credits that way, but more control as well. Cover or remaster when finished and review.

I like to use it, too. You don't need to be an expert. But it helps to read up on basic song structures. Nothing too complicated but if you want to achieve certain effects you can't count blindly on the AI to do that. Well structured lyrics help a lot.

My hard rock prog and stoner rock is almost unlistenable in v4 today, but I had great gens in the last 4 days.

I know that server use had been suggested before, and it made sense to me. I do see worse gens at certain times of day and certain times I think Suno might be busy. But causation does not equal correlation, and so it might just be my mind playing tricks on me.

What's bizarre is that I got it in a song the other day where there weren't the usual suspect instruments playing. That was a first for me.

As hard as it is to do so, I find the best thing to do is close all my Suno windows and just leave the site for a day or so. Like magic, generation gets better when I come back.

Yeah, it's not just you. I almost forgot about some of the issues but all of a sudden they came back. I do think it impacts genres differently though. Heavy rock/metal songs can be harder to get quality sounds from vs R&B hip-hop or Rap.

This is likely completely wrong and not how it works at all but It's almost like not all of their servers have the latest V4 with the fixes they have been working on for V4. If you get stuck on the wrong server you are screwed.

I doubt it works like that, but nevertheless, it seems like that. It is absolutely genre dependent, and quite frankly I doubt I am the target audience, trying to make prog rock with stoner/heavy influences that isn't modern metal.

I tried about 50 different covers of a song that was heavily keyboard dependent in all sorts of guitar genres, and the only time it changed anything was with acoustic-style prompts. 90s alternative and stoner and prog and so forth sounded a lot alike as far as Suno was concerned.

I'm just not convinced that descriptive prompts are Suno's forté. Or I haven't seen songs with descriptives fair any better, and if Suno ignores those as prompts, suno may add the extra words into the total talley of lyric count making the meter a bit wonky sometimes as well.

It may have been working for you though in the past. And others like using descriptives, full sentence phrasings.

So moving on...it does happen that Suno may ignore prompts altogether, or randomly sing "[John]" or "[applause]" or whatever. There's enough varied style members use and myself that I haven't pinpointed what might trigger Suno to read/sing some prompts outloud.

It may be the simplest space between brackets or parentheses, the use of a colon, or any other slight arrangement. I see and have tried [spoken: John] or [spoken]: [john], but have yet to see a consistent output from most any one of them.

The only thing that seems with some continuity is to have the prompts on one line.

And I'd at least suggest to keep it simple with one word prompting. At least give it a go on a couple and compare.

If you are clicking create on the same extend attempts, you might be extending from a silent area. It will reacted by throwing up a 2 second silent output, or something similar.

Try backing up your extend point a second or few. Give it some clear sound to extend from.

Couple of bugs I have come across when remastering. First sometimes one of the tracks fails to have a time listed after being remastered & although the track is complete & can be downloaded, the time is never listed & you cannot use that track to put on Discord as it simply shows the link but the track to play will just be a picture. Second a couple of my tracks cannot be remastered even though they are v3.5, it just says it is remastering but never does & no tracks are even being started to remastered.

Yes, I did, and it was working fine for two songs. But, of course, when I finally found the right song and wanted to replace some sections, Suno started looping and creating the same song over and over—more than 40 times! So, I tried the trick of logging out and back in, and then I got flagged XD.

Well, you can start from a middle point and extend from there to create a new ending (or chain of extends).

But, if you mean can I insert a segment in the middle of a song, while keeping the beginning and ending the same. That's not an extend you can do. Or using other tricks/hacks, not a task that can be accurately or consistently done well.

Worth trying. Yes.

1. Make edits to lyrics as needed, offsite, in lyrics box, using an email box, wherever you can edit. COPY final lyrics.

2. Click CLEAR on the Create form to start with a blank slate (else persona will just sing the old lyrics)

3. Go to you Library/ Personas. Choose persona, click [🎶 Create] button under persona.

4. go back to Create window. Persona would be loaded. Persona's prompts should be loaded.

5. paste corrected and final lyrics in box.

6. click Create (pink button)

So you'll get a totally different song or if lucky, a similar song, hopefully just as enjoyable.

Depending on how much you're editing in the middle, using Replace is a viable option. Certainly, it can be used to replace as much as a stanza /verse of lyrics. So that route is possible. It still has a habit of going longer than what you've selected, so can take 1 to 12 generations or so to get one outcome whose section is the same seconds as the section you selected and are replacing.

As an example: If you selected a 17 second verse, typed in replacement lyrics, hit [Replace], only the ones that are about 21 seconds (17 seconds - shown in bold white line-- and 2 second bleed - shown as a greyed line per each side of the bold white line-- on both sides) will work properly.

To be honest, I found a solution because I’m flagged with SUNO, even though I’m paying every month and haven’t done anything wrong. Since I couldn’t wait for @steady kelp to respond, I used my Suno AI song with the old lyrics and uploaded it to Udio. Honestly, Udio offers more features, like the 'Selected Edit Area is Highlighted' option, which made it incredibly easy to create a new song with updated lyrics in just one click.

Of course, Udio isn’t perfect, but it’s a great tool for solving problems like this.

Yep..in the lyrics as metatags.... not I... but I've seen in others. Whether it consistently works. Dunno. But when used, members will place these tags before each verse to 🙏 that it remains consistent. Could be a thing to try. I just haven't experimented with these.

I do lots of folk and kpop which so far, gives me little issue or need for these tags yet.

2 things I can't figure out and I would be forever grateful to resolve them. There are times I want to do a pickup, like force the vocals to start before the downbeat of the 1st measure of the verse. Sometimes it does it on its own, sometimes not. And I would like to sometimes start a verse on the 5th and the AI always starts on the root. Can that be done?

Those are thrown into New Age back when they first originated.... now they could be called "electronic ambient" style. But it's so eclectic it's hard to pin the genre down.

I tried to get suno to generate similar Enigma style but I don't think suno was trained on those in the libary. It seem like most of the instruments sound very similar. I browsed through some members' song with instruments style, and to me, they all sound pretty much the same :). It's hard to break that pattern

Suno pulls from those qualities of genres which are often used. So how about add "broadway" about 6th prompt into styles? That genre often pushes and pulls lyrics against the melodies.

Physically: type the beginning word of the line you wished starting a beat before the 1-count.... type it onto the previous line, and even with a comma or dash after it to cause a delay. Suno still often grammatically recognizes where a sentence should begin, and will try to make sense of it.

Also, just having those words you need to pull typed separately on a line, with even a linespace between that/those and the remaining phrase.

So if I want a vocal pickup, maybe I can enter the words that are to be anticipated and THEN the (verse) tag? I have not tried that yet, and in fact I just thought about trying that last night as my always cycling brain that denies my sleep thought about that. Do commas and periods add time delays? That being said, I have only been to the Suno party for 3 months and I can't find words to say how much I love this. Songs used to take 5-6 weeks to write, play and sing. I have done about 28 over those 3 months, and I am meticulous as all get out when I write.

Dreamy is a style that will get you closer to Enya.

But Enigma, you'd have to find a balance. True. Pop, afro-pop, dreamy, electronic, ambient, native American, percussive, 80s techno (?), ethnic percussion, stacatto, atmospheric, soundscape, dance, groove, layering..... who knows...

To see how you like the feel: try putting an "echo" like response BEFORE the line. Such as:

(I want to tell you)
I want to tell you
How much I care

Or stick between phrases can get fun results.

I (want to) want to (tell you) tell you
How much I care

or: I want to (tell you) how much I care.

A favourite of mine now is to use "isicathamiya", an african chanting- a cappella style way towards the end of style prompts , just to give a call-and-response feel, but can give a "vocal pickup" vibe sometimes as well.

Alot of those prompts incorporate acoustic instruments, which , with Suno leaves alot of space/room between them. This helps tremendously in not having disonant overtones or noise.

A band I was in long ago did about 8 Gabriel songs. As the keyboard player I should have asked for overtime pay. As it was the 2nd guitar player played a second set of keyboards. Gabriel is intense.
