Because extend is different than cover. It overwrites from where you extended using the rest of your song. It uses the point you extend from as influence. You gave it nothing to be influenced by

Yeah I don't think you're meant to be able to do it - I think at first you couldn't make a persona directly from an upload but there were ways around it (like making a song from the upload and making a persona from the song) but that got fixed.

Sometimes when a generation fails, you get a black space in your screen taking up the place where it should be on the Create and Library screens. These failures will time out eventually, usually 10 or 20 minutes at most, and refund credits. I don't know what specifically is causing your failures, but it could be a Persona that doesn't work for whatever reason. Usually if it's a text/prompt error then you get a normal failure, not a black hole. If the Persona worked in the past, might be a temporary bug. If the Persona never worked, might just be not work, but you could try creating a new one from a Crop of the song or something maybe.

re: song length, the biggest impact on Suno's output is what we use as input -- it's possible that something you're using as a style prompt or lyrics is having an effect.

re: Suno on the picture generations, I know this is something that can happen when Suno is being used in ways other than what the devs intended (like being used by unofficial apps, etc) -- if you're using Suno.com or the official apps (https://suno.com/ios or https://suno.com/android) and still getting these results, you might need to contact [e-mail] so they can look into the matter and potentially resolve it for you 💪

(doing things)like this() having a choir tag helps that, and if that first line is long enough it can overlap the second. And the first line being in brackets meens it will typical sing as choir. Might want to add duet too.

We also discover if you tag male and female duet. (then set up)your chorus like this. It will sing part of that line male and the second as female, and that was a consistant thing that happened

Looks like the guys are tinkering around again these days. I have problems with the video generation. Old songs don't accept changes in image and text anymore and don't generate a new video, and new videos consist only of a background, a tiny image, a text 'made by unknown' (haha) and a text made with SUNO. Such videos without song text are konpletly useless!

I just tested, and "Regenerate Video" changed the display picture that Discord uses, but the picture reverts to the original without any changed lyrics as soon as you click Play.

Make sure the credit card information is correct the numbers the date the CCP code on back and your name
Because sometimes the system will pick out a credit card if you've even off by one digit or letter

Also verify with your bank that you have enough to cover the balance
Try loading the money on the PayPal and then paying with the PayPal credit card if you have one or your venmo credit card or your cash have credit card they all provide cards and you should be able to load the money onto those menus and pay you that way as well

Are you able to test if downloading the video directly shows the correctly regenerated video? That's how it worked for me in my test with an older video

First I tried to regenerate the video, but changes were not accepted. The menue showed a busy sign for regenerate video. When finished, I chose download video, but i downloaded tge old version. I changed the image for testing and clicked regenerate video. Busy sign came. After it, I clicked download video and it still was the old unchanged version.

Then I cropped the video 1 second and now the new video was generated. But now the video only consist of a gradient background color, a tiny image with 'by @unknown' as user name on top and under the image the text 'MADE WITH SUNO' in half the distance between image and bottom. No song lyrics anymore.

re: Personas -- when you make a persona, it takes a segment of the song to use as reference, but there's no current way of hearing which segment is used, so it's hard to tell what aspects of the song is being used. I advise "priming a persona" by cropping out only the ideal section of a song to be used for a persona -- if there's a particularly powerful vocal delivery, instead of hoping that a 30s clip featuring that performance will be selected out of your entire 4m song, you could crop JUST that section for more specialized persona results -- this is a great use of the Get Stems feature, as they might not be PERFECT but can easily remove vocals if you just prefer the instrumentals, or vice versa

You might need to reapproach how you describe the music -- that's what the "song-prompter" I linked above could help with, but since Suno "vibes with us" instead of taking "coded commands", you don't need to know any specific terminology

boy band, heartthrob, highschool sweetheart, dramatic is just as impactful as four-part harmony, vocal layering, falsetto -- the best advice I give is start small with prompting and make small adjustments until you find your way, and you'll end up with something REALLY unique that others will want to replicate 🙂

A good thing to keep in mind is that everything we give to Suno as input is a suggestion that Suno can ignore if it means "creating a better song", so sometimes you might need to find different ways to suggest certain ideas, or "force its hand" if it keeps getting stuck on outputting something a certain way.

If the rest of the style prompt suggests calmly sung vocals, it's not guaranteed that simply prompting [aggressive] before a verse will be enough to have it sung with gusto (as @naive quail can attest, sometimes it leads to the singer outright screaming "aggressive!" 😂)

A more credit-intensive, but ultimately more direct & efficient method could be to create an extension point at the point before you want to affect a change in the song (like a change in vocalist style) and alter the Style Prompt you're using to match

Think about the words that Record Labels and services like Spotify and Apple Music associate with each song in their libraries to aid in genre/style categorization and in user searches. THOSE are likely the words that Suno will have the strongest hits on.

Hate that! Once an extension picks up some noise, it can be hard to shake! Other extensions will happily carry it and often make it worse.

I'm not sure if this is meant to be the case but it seems this generation request keeps polling in the browser. Every 3 seconds. In the GUI I don't see any spinning circles or the placeholder rows for the requested generated songs anymore but every now and then I still get an error returned to me on screen.

I think it's doing this to check the status of pending generations (it's how you're normally able to start playing a song whilst it's still generating.) I know that doesn't help with the issue you're having but just thought I'd explain that.

One big thing I hate about Suno is there is no good way to mass delet unwanted songs. I make so may songs but suno dose not only keep the songs I want to keep but keeps them all and deleting takes way too much time!

There are many ways to generate a new song. Many with this error recognize that having Suno write lyrics seems to not have the same issue. So it's good to look at the steps you're taking to generate a song as well-- assuming the 8 times was with the same means and content of generating.

A small few tests of changing up different aspects seem helpful.

They can save a lot of computing power when they would not generate the video together with the song, but only on demand, because most of the time you edit the image or the text anyway and have to regenerate the video anyway. So the first video generation mostly is a waste of resources.

Each persona uses a clip of the song they're based on for context, and the length of the clip can vary between personas -- the length of that clip is subtracted from the 4m max.
Here's an example of one of my personas -- I cliped out an 18s segment of a longer song in order to serve as the base for the "Boss Tones" persona, leaving me with 3m42 as the max length for that particular persona.

Sounds like your persona is using a 40s segment for context -- I imagine it uses as much as it needs, but you could crop out a smaller segment and make a persona from that if you want to gain those extra seconds back, but I'd just extend from the songs if you enjoy the persona quality as it is 🙂

Changing the title or displayed lyrics will not affect the video as it would be too computationally expensive to update every time someone makes a change, hence the Regenerate Video option (limited to subscribers)

You can try things like Fast-paced in the style, I've had mixed results with that, and putting slow in the negative

Having a "core" suffix should help as well.
If you use dashes (-) instead of spaces between words, it should get the AI to rap/speak fast (though not all the time)

Other than that you may want to try putting some known fast paced musical styles or instruments in lower-case later in the prompt. Instruments that are commonly played fast help too

Instrumentals have a tendency to speed up sometimes depends on how you do it. I have a couple, you can get the speed and tone you want then crop it and extend, replace after.

hey, so finaly after some help from a friend to click on the wave i managed to try the replace section. and... sometimes i just don't understand it. mostly when i turn the same length as selection thing off in hopes that it will just make more room for what i want, but sometimes it even goes farther from the selection and just continues regenerating next parts of the song, before suddenly coming back to where my "selection" is supose to end. i find it very hard to find a balance between turn the same length as selecion on to change some lyrics, which by the way doesn't always work, and off to leave more room for instrumental breaks and stuff but with the risk of it going completely away from the selection. i'm not sure if i ccan explain it correctly but at least this is my vision right now

or maybe i should use v3 to make sure to get shorter generations?

I can see it using AI to do remastering, vocal separation, and other tools that require wave analysis, but to have it make the song for you, I guess but why buy FL Studio if you plan to do that...I guess to stay up with the times.

FL is a complete tool, except in the production of voices, so yes, you can record your own voice, or someone else's, but it would be a plus, if the integrated AI (maybe), allowed to generate one, or several voices!
FL's multi-track mastering makes it even better to work in this direction ...

I'd use cover if there's content you want to preserve, try to describe what you have as well as what you want. E.g. if it's a spoken poem and you want it to be spoken, use spoken word and narrated as prompts as well as describing the music. Use full sentences to reinforce that it should be read, not sung.

Those are the main things I can think of. I haven't tested this specific thing but it's the general way I treat covers.

So while you are around @unique stone do you know of anyway to force covers to replace lyrics, I did a test on rap song with some lyrics I just wrote to see if i could do it, loved the sound i got, but once I finished the lyrics, and tried to cover that original song, it won't fix or even finish with the new lyrics

Id say, in any website and app, If a payment service like Stripe has rejected card information, certainly check things like expiration dates. But also it seems reasonable to contact the payment service directly, as well to their provided contact information.

You might also be able to log in directly to the payment service website.

Those are things I would do to track the source of the issue.

I know I can use CCM ( a known genre) instead of Christian Contemprary Music, and get some change, but can it be better if I type it out? I should try.

So what about BPM. That's not a genre. As a training model , things like BPM and music theory might not be included?
But what about "Beats Per Minutes", now that it's in more of an English form, could suno make more of an attempt? I don't know. Maybe latin words like adagio and allegro are good enough. Just a thought based on the suno.wiki point.

Suno absolutely recognizes certain phrases to suggest that it should approach the song with specific tempos -- even including bpm in the prompts seems to have an impact on it (I'm convinced it's the prompt behind songs speeding up at random points, since bpm is just suggesting that it includes aspects of other songs where bpm might have been included in the training data's tagging -- but in NO way is Suno forced to follow)

There ARE data sets that include tempo information, like LANDR's fair trade AI -- but I don't know what information was available in the dataset Suno was trained on.

Please share what happens when you attempt to make a song -- if you're getting "a song was stuck while generating", that error message has been replacing "your content has been flagged for moderation", but could be received for a host of other reasons.

It's not unlikely that something was mistakenly being translated in a way that triggered the moderation, opposed to any direct choices -- for example, "I'll love you" or "I'll beat you" sound innocuous enough in English, but depending on how it's interpreted, they could mean something else entirely 😛

Perhaps you could post the Spanish lyrics in https://chat.com and ask what lyrics might be triggering an oversensitive automoderation service, and it might be able to suggest some replacements to keep everything "above board"

Like I'd mentioned, since you seem to be making songs from the official site instead of any API / unofficial app funny-business, this is something that the team would be interested in fixing -- having innocent users getting caught up in security stuff is bound to happen at the scale they're operating at, but they've taken it very seriously from every instance I've seen -- the support lead himself responding to a number of cases directly.

Some of mine appeared to have traces of the watermark in it, which I gave to Mike. While it didn't have the actual execution of the watermark. It seems it's not supposed to appear, at all, in any form, unless used through an API. So to me that was a relief to hear and I gladly provided him with them to find out if it was some sort of coincidence (I had done spectral analysis etc on duplications.) Either way it caused no issue to me and was misunderstood by a dev, but I nevertheless gave him the songs cause I figured it would if relevant provide more information ^^
