For me, if i seem to be creating 2 accounts , usually, I do a forget password so that I'm required to enter in my email, which an app then checks it against my accounts. At least that check it's integrity as the right email and also reset the password, which is a good thing to occasionally do anyway.

Sounds academic, but helps to remove doubt before going down other paths.

Using metatags in the lyrics section doesnt do much, you'd have to put it earlier in the styles list. Thats how i managed to get dual vocalists

To show them the account I normally use to login with X@gmail the profile associated with it which I am paying for ( subscription) and then the new profile the system created for me despite I login with x@gmail.

Their first response was please try logging in with x@gmail … ( for god sake that’s what I have been doing problem is another new profile associated with x@gmail

Their second response was please click on the invitation and claim my invitation and use the code ( which I explained on multiple email I did not have )

I'm coming into this chat late, so apologies if it's been already looked into, but if there's any chance the browser is associating your google SSO with the incorrect account, you could "Add An Account" from the google.com page and when you Click on the Google SSO it'll take you to a page where you select the account you want to use.

No that did not work . It’s creates a new profile not associated with any email account…so if you sign in with your phone number you have a profile called xy and if you login with Google account you will get xx profile … I believe what happened was the app created a new profile overwriting the old one … but that’s a bit odd considering I signed in as I would do on the website by just click on the Google account option

The safest way would be to generate a song with the first voice and then extend from the point where you need to change the voice. But it could take several tries. I've just finished one who finally did what I wanted. And the voices sang the chorus together. Sadly, there is no one specific tag which guarantees the outcome you want.

What’s your favorite tool for mastering Suno generated tracks which is not Bandlab?
I like Bandlab but looking for other options since it often “amplifies artifacts” if you know what I mean. Any Suno artifact like a bit of background noise etc becomes more prominent.

When Suno is being stubborn about that, I double check that I don't have any new descriptive words in style. The more stubborn, the closer it gets to the front of the style, so: Male Vocals, Southern Jazz in style also add Deep Male Vocals in style, even Jazz Male Vocals or use jazz in lower case later in the style if you are doing another style. In the song I will do as much as necessary.

Any persona can be made un-public. I think the public toggle on is the default.

As far as creating personas from persona-made songs, you cannot as of yet. If the song has a persona attached to it, it's that persona and you can't make like... a sub-persona from it or something. Has to be a completely fresh song, including being unable to make a persona from an uploaded audio

If you have a song (or find a song you like), you can do the "Cover Song" option and create a new song which will use the general melody, tempo, etc of the original song, but will usually, unless you kinda specify in the style settings, use different instruments and voices to make it "different" or "a cover"

I use cover songs to re-encode songs I've made that I like but that didn't turn out quite right or had lower quality than I'd like. Usually, doing a cover of it and having the same style settings as it had before will do the song EXACTLY the same, with slight variation perhaps, using the same voice and instruments

I think, generally though, most people use cover songs to try to recreate the feel of a song they've liked

I wouldn't say so, no -- personas appear to take a sample of the original song to help "seed" the new generations to make it sound similar -- while we don't have the ability to hear the clip the persona uses, you can "prime" your persona by providing it an optimal clip to make the persona from -- if there's a specific vocalist or instrumental section you want to replicate, try cropping out just that section and using it 💪

I think it is down to the very nature of the generative ai music systems. If was possible I'm sure Suno and the others would have been handing them out like sweets!

It would be an amazing upgrade and game-changer and Game-Winner if we had a Lyrical Tag list! The first to achieve this will walk away with the prize!

I have just tried it and it kinda works.
Generated a metronome tick track of 40 ticks in 120bpm. Uploaded it and created four songs by extending the click track.
I got the tracks with 120bpm, unfortunately the clicktrack is part of the new music. Obviously the extension starts with clicking and in parts it is audible within the track.
Making a cover did not work as the speed changed.
Cutting the songs and removing the ticks afterwards is no option.

three of four tracks had 120bpm, one had 117bpm. So it kinda hit.
At this track the ticks do fit, but all tracks start with the ticks , which change into the song one way or another.
So all songs start the same, which is somewhat annoying.

Often Suno jumps straight in, with not intro. I always add, [Intro] [Instrumental] at the beginning of my songs.

Probably. Worth experimenting with. It's not something I've tried extensively, I just know that upload tends to be a good way to set the BPM. It works best if you have the start of a song prepared with the other instruments you want and extend from that.

Aside from cropping the song to exclude the upload, there's not really a way to avoid it being part of the song itself, at least at the start of it.

Extending an upload can give you up to 4 minutes minus the length of the upload. So if you upload 10 seconds it will try to give you 3:50. So it's a bit better than normal extensions that are up to 2:00

It is hit-n-miss! But there a couple of things I use.

1. I always refresh my page and start from new; Suno seems to remember and this can influence the next track.

2. I start my songs with, [Intro] [Instrumental] and [Male Vocal] or just [Male]

3. I add [Male Vocal] [Male] or [Male Vocal Sung]
   before and after the sectional tags ie, [Verse] [Chorus] etc.

This may seem a bit over the top, but I'm trying to make Suno follow.

This is dependent on the Style of Music too!

It'll be down to how they get the tags from the data used for the model. Presumably the exact tempo isn't present, or needs to be flexible to ensure more variation in the dataset when generating? (I.e. not only using data from songs of the exact same tempo.)

I expect they could run a BPM detector across the training data and work it out from that.

It clearly is capable of changing tempo as I have had that happen at random before, and had covers generate stuff that is identical, but slower. But it must be difficult to trigger this behaviour in a useful, replicable way otherwise they would've done it by now.

I've just reduced the volume to almost zero ( beat metronome track for setting bpm) and the track still worked, but without being able to hear the beat of the track. Hope this helps!

Try using the "crop" feature to isolate a section of the song where the vocals are strongly represented & use that as the origin for the persona -- I would imagine 15-30 seconds is optimal, as that seems to be the length that personas use for most clips

If you're using extensions to choose where you want the song to change, it's a lot easier to generate an extension that starts off with a wicked drum fill than it would be to write a prompt that results in a drum fill at the exact time you want & nowhere else

I believe there are no "correct prompts" -- Suno "vibes" with whatever you say.

We can give suggestions and directions, but Suno doesn't respond to "commands" -- also, the 'strength' or 'weight' of each prompt varies depending on what it's used with -- as Dasvon points out, using [boys choir] might be more likely to work if your song is a gospel song, while it's less likely to work if you're making a metal song -- doesn't mean it's impossible to get boys choir in metal, just means you need to continue exploring that idea creatively to see how your attempts vary, trying to understand which of your prompts are working, which can be removed or reworked, etc.

If you make a persona from a song, Suno takes a sample of the song to try to make further generations sound like the same vocalist or instrumental style -- you can get better results by priming the clip you use before making a persona -- crop out a section that REALLY shines and you might notice that songs made using that persona have an easier time sounding similar 😄

without priming it, it's hard to know WHICH segment of the song Suno would use for the persona, so it might be difficult to guarantee that it captures the essence of the song that attracted you to it in the first place, but a tiny bit of work to make sure the persona can ONLY hear the section you want makes it SO much more powerful 🙂

re: cloudflare 5xx errors -- not specific to Suno -- this is something that every online SaaS wrestles with.

5xx errors are not Cloudflare defined but defined by HTTP/1.1 specification. 504 is Gateway Timeout meaning that Cloudflare lost connection to the origin host which is beyond Cloudflare's network.

A rule of thumbs is that the AI doesn't like anything too complex without messing up (ideally like three instruments, three or so keywords, and so on).

I looked at your song. Lumine is absolutely correct, I know there was no question, but there are ways to get what you want. Like Lumine said, you want to use extensions, you make an extension and change the style completely or almost. If you want the descriptions that you are using in lyrics instead put the type of music then the instruments you want to be primary in capital first letters.

imo -- it's less about using "The correct prompts" and more about taking an experimental approach.

For example, boys choir is less likely to work in a metal song as it would in a gospel song -- so it's not about knowing "the correct prompt" to use, it's about the different creative approaches you take to figure out how to coax the sounds you want.

Anyone else having issues with Persona? I try to generate using saved persona and generation just gets stuck and then a message saying credits not used. If I try without a persona it works no problem

3. I scroll down and choose my persona, which auto loads some styles. (Or I can type or load other style prompts if I choose.)
4. I click Create and wait for the output.

I'm sure. It's frustrating, no doubt.

A couple of tests are: 1) just try a simple phrase such as 'This is a test', or 'Mary had a little lamb'.

If this small phrase sticks and gets an error, then it may be an programming error and support needs you to send a bit of documentation , screenshot, to help them out, likely. (Again. It worked for me)

2. Use either all of your lyrics or just use half. If a "stuck clip" or fail, use the other half. If either one is successful but the other fails, or both halves fail then it could be an app issue or lyric issue (some moderated word or phrase, some context that Suno may have listed offensive, some phrase which is too similar to an iconic phrasing of another song or artwork....).

3. click Reuse Prompts of a recently outputed song of yours so your lyrics get transferred to your create page. Then scroll down and choose a persona. This may then replace the old song's style prompts with the persona prompts. I don't think this would matter. Run CREATE and test the output. If it clears and works, refer back to step two and re-evaluate your custom lyrics. I assume custom lyrics indicates lyrics you've written and just copy and pasted over. Being the case, check your line spacings and try to visually have a nice arrangement. Hidden Codes within your word processor, notepad, email or where you wrote it previously may affect sunos reading.

4. as a reminder, using artwork from any published source, a book passage, poem, old song, sample, and so on, might come across as a flaggable piece or phrase. Even a word or two, heck even a concept like torture, bullying, pain, and so on can be "perceived" and moderated to result in an error, as I understand. So consider those points as reasons as well.

Hopefully, it's a fixable error, or just takes a small re-write. To have it constantly happening, on various gens, and with different members is rough and I'm sure support should hear of the issues first hand.

Sucks. It's been eroding my will to even try with Suno. Love the Persona concept. But, I can count over a THOUSAND credits I would have saved.... if the songs it generated went 4 minutes and not 3:20 max. Then the clicks and beeps and nonsense is maddening as when I DO get a complete song, it sounds like I hand recorded it from the radio.

I submit reports, but, that doesn't seem to do anything. No credits returned for broken songs. I try to stay positive about things but it's been rough today. 😦

Well. You tried repeating the same thing I did with the This is a test. It worked for me and not you, so I'd hold off and take a breather while seeing where you can get a response back from [e-mail]. Or given time (12 hours to 1 day) someone throws up a solution. Keep reading the channel then. If I hear further, I'll toss a comment in.

By all means, do all the utility things as well. Clear caches, refresh browsers, log off-log in... try a different browser. All that helps eliminate possible issues.

Hi everyone, I have an issue with creating personas - after successfully making 3 of them and using one of them quite a lot, now I am unable to create any more. After pressing Make Persona button the screen just shows for a second and then disappears, I’m using Safari browser on IPhone.

Yes, it's true duet is very difficult but in some cases I was lucky to get after some try and patience. You can check on my youtube channel (wada karo song, bollywood Ai Magic1), there are other few songs also. WORST is when you did everything right but the output sometimes you will get totally different and messed up output. In my few songs I have to try more than 18 times to get the right tone of the singer.

I don't know the answer to this as I don't use the lyrics generator, sorry. If you post the prompt you're using it might help with diagnosing what could be causing it. If it happens for every song even if you try completely different prompts it could be a bug.

Suno doesn't use Bark any more. The Suno music models seem to have been developed based on Bark (and used to be called "Chirp".) Whilst Bark is freely available and open source, Chirp never was. Suno uses models that were further developed from Chirp. So there is unfortunately no technical information available about these models (I am guessing you are looking to be able to run these models yourself, but sadly that isn't possible.)

You can also use open-sourced music-gen services like Stable Audio Open.

Did you try another browser to start with a clear slate? It says "lyrics prompt " which are the words in your lyrics window -- as I would see it. This infers we are prompting for Suno to create the lyrics? Is that what you are doing before the error. Or are you using your own lyrics, as you said , perhaps saying something "vulgar". The error of "lyrics prompt " is odd, to me , then.

The word "..... prompt" in "lyric prompt" in this case could be confusing.

A simple test is to CLEAR your Create windows (click that Clear button) and type a simple phrase like "This is a test" or "Mary had a little lamb" in lyrics. Use one-word style prompt and create a test. Then use several styles prompts. Then add half of your original lyrics, if you wrote them.

Keep it simple. Go small. "One at a time - Don't combine". And eliminate each process until you get an error again.

If it's already been resolved, let the forum know what you did. Anything helps.

You'll have more luck with generating small parts of a song. Meaning ,that you start a song with a [male voice] and let it sing the intro and the first verse or even a bit longer. After that you choose an extention point from which you change the voice prompt (in the style section) accordingly. Prompts in the lyrics do not seem to work sufficiently. It won't do what you want immediately but it shouldn't take all your credits. I've spent 50 on my last duet. And it even managed to sing the chorus together. 😁

One might have created a "second" account by accident. It's happened to me and seems to have happened to another. I have a quick Q.. im sure its been asked before.. BUT!.. Is there anything in the pipe line for the stems to be actual stems? and not a mix rip? this would be an amazing add on. and would allow us to mix them better or even use as a lerning process n mixing..

Being AI generated, it doesn't seem possible, for my simple mind, to create two stems, an instrumental and a vocal which would mesh up / mix / sync perfectly. If that could happen, then it would be a single-purposed humanly controllable output and thereby copyrightable as well. For now, AI generation is "random".

In order to do that it would take twice the generation and then a merging process. This is not something I see coming anytime soon. The resource allocation alone would make the site worse than it is now
