Wagering a friendly-bet that you own a cuíca?
haha. I actually had to ask myself that. I don't currently own one.
currently being the imperative 😂
I quite agree with you, it lacks real precision, to make a model, but by digging persistently, I think there is material...
We'll say "to be continued" Lol
Thank you for allowing me to be a "stick in the mud" and still keeping an enthusiastic spirit 😅
I absolutely believe there is room for experimentation -- we all improve when people contribute the kind of work you're proposing, so merci vraiment mon ami
Every day I try, and tomorrow I will try again^^ 😎
A Brazilian (or carribean) instrument but used in Celtics music alot .... least is my perception.
One of my fave bands is Nightnoise.
I'm into New Age sounds..technically speaking, of course.
@naive quail has a neat collection of some really interesting cultural instruments -- there's a non-zero chance that having mentioned it will lead to him purchasing one.
https://youtu.be/7J2WZGCCpEk fascinating, btw
Kalani demonstrates the CUICA, a Brazilian friction drum used in different styles of music. The unique drum can make lots of interesting sounds!

This will be mine. I'm on a budget.
A coffee can and kabob skewer.. I'll be set..... yo.. ummm upload that audio into Suno. (Gotta remember to keep it technical and AI )
A straw and a fast food softdrink cup and lid...
I still have coffee cans left over from my eclipse viewer project.
Next purchase: handpan and hammer dulcimer
See... suno doesn't kill real music.... it makes you buy more instruments.
Do you know of Alex Ayers' secret tech? If you type this: ¡¡º¡º¡º¡º¡º¡ºº¡º¡º¡º¡º¡¡º¡ºº¡ªª™£ª•™£´ˆ¨¥ß∑∑∑∂ßåˆø¨åß∂ºª•∑œ´®®œªº•¡™£ª•¶¡™£˜√∫∆˚˙åß∂ for the lyrics you will get an hallucination nearly 100% of the time. I've used this many times and only ever not gotten a hallucination once. It's the most consistent thing I've seen on Suno
It’s been a while since I used Suno. Saw some pretty cool new features such as crop and edit.
Is there a way to keep a beat and voice but replace all the lyrics?
The new features are in beta -- so while they allow new tools to approach issues like that, it's not a simple, seamless, perfect 1:1 process of remove lyrics & add new ones -- but yeah, the Replace Section feature can be used to remove or change lyrics
thank you.
Greetings all, Lamprey here, looking for some insights ... struggling to get this replace section thing to work in a way that is an improvement. I simply want to swap out one lyric but Suno always wants to change the instrumentation as well. i really just want to swap out one single word, or slightly adjust the placement of word with the song. I think the first dtep would be reducing this edit length down to as little as 1 or 2 seconds, the ten second minimum is just too much and it allows the system to start changing stuff it doesnt need to change. just my two cents, love the whole process and system here, just needs soem tweaks, getting better tho!!
I don't want to speak on behalf of the devs, but I know the limitations were put in place due to observed issues during the alpha tests. For now, I think the most effective way to improve the feature is to give feedback on the songs in the form of thumbs down or ... > Report > Bugs > ... on songs that really failed to meet the mark.
If you really wanted to get your feedback in front of relevant eyes, where it could make the most impact, they've set up a form for you to share your thoughts https://sunomusic.typeform.com/to/D9VQkHr5 💪
Turn data collection into an experience with Typeform. Create beautiful online forms, surveys, quizzes, and so much more. Try it for FREE.
"the limitations were put in place due to observed issues during the alpha tests" <<< I would love to know more about what that means... youre saying these limitations are by design?
I was trying to use "Replace selection" on ending to change it. But because it plays 5sec after selection, it doesn't seem to work on endings.
Is there any other way to fix endings?
Bottom of the post
It doesn't have the embed, and it's at the end of a sentence, but technically they don't want that level of detailed feedback from EVERYONE because then it becomes a dumping ground for complaints usually -- that's not a staff opinion, that's my personal observation from similar stuff
I understand there'll be differing opinions on the matter, but I think there's different levels of engagement they're hoping for -- #📝┃user-research-feedback is for the times when the research-lead Nedi specifically wants feedback, it can be about anything, so she books sessions and pays people for their time. That's high priority kinda stuff.
I'm probably just being contrarian at this point, but I don't feel like the feedback form is out-of-the-way in terms of anyone who reads what little official documentation we receive, and if the form were made super accessible, the impact of each submission would be lessened to a degree since each submission would be diluted amongst a torrent of lower-effort "make the feature better -- this sucks" posts, opposed to people who had detailed opinions and wanted to take the time to express them beyond making a quick post in #💡┃suggestions-web
Hey guys i have a problem! maybe u can help me. I stopped my Suno Abo but i still have around 5k Credits avaible! now it says that i dont have enough credits for the song creation! can anyone help me?
It mentions on the https://www.suno.com/account that extra credits require an active membership to use 🙏
Hello. All of my creations are being "ruined" because every song I create it always repeat the second verse I created. In every song. Im losing credits on this. Anyone else with this problem?
And before I could write (intro piano) or whatever. Now it just simply it's ignoring and doesn't create that. I'm doing something wrong?or it's a bug?
I wish Suno video supports Arabic characters
Hey, entered my account, a few hundred credits were reduced from it, how to reach support?
there were credits I bought on top of my subscription
Has anyone figured out how to make Suno create ice cream truck music?
billing@suno.com 🙏
@charred merlin please suggest to the dev using this Arabic Unicode font: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Cairo/license?lang=arb_Arab with attribution
I appreciate the vote of confidence, but I don't know if my feedback is given any more credit than other users. The devs genuinely care about the feedback submitted to #💡┃suggestions-web 🙏 💪
That said, I know the .mp4 videos don't support the same fonts that can be displayed on the website -- I hope that gets resolved soon 🙂
Okay -- the song prompter might actually have some wheels. I tried a few ideas off the top of my head and didn't get quite what I was expecting, then I typed "ice cream truck" into the Song Prompter and selected the first row it suggested, and got this https://suno.com/song/f244d35d-3ebf-4eca-904e-0ae37a7a3694
music box, xylophone, jingle bells, synthesizer, playful harmonies, light-hearted, whimsical, cheerful was what it gave me, if you were just focused on this one result, though
Does anyone know how long the max length of a Suno cover can be? Mine keeps stopping at 3:18 and cutting off the rest of the song.
Hey @random brook!
I'm not sure that there's a hard limit that I've seen mentioned in the same way that some other features have minimum & maximum windows. Feel free to reach out if you wanted some community help exploring the issue 🙂
does anyone know if there's a way to carry through a voice or style for multiple songs?
If you use the same upload for multiple songs, it will be able to utilize similar styles and vocals for what you extend from it.
Building off @safe hazel's point, I was discussing a method the other day but hadn't gotten around to testing it out yet -- recently a trend was to make "live versions" of songs using the cover feature, as well as just making original-generation songs sound like live performances, with crowd noise, etc.
One aspect of those recordings I kept seeing was spoken-word introductions from the vocalist before the full performance began -- while using the same melodic audio upload for multiple songs would presumably have them all including some degree of the original melody, if all that was provided was the vocalist "shouting" without melody toward the crowd, it stands to reason that type of audio clip could be used to get the same vocalist without influencing the melody in the same way. 🤷♂️
Have been having this same issue today, wasn't doing it last night.
https://youtu.be/G7pv4Qivn_c Not just America -- our British friends might remember Mr Whippy trucks playing a music-box version of Greensleeves https://youtu.be/G7pv4Qivn_c
Mr Whippy Theme Song!
Took me ages to find.

Not the best quality this is the NZ and I think AU Version.
We used it for an Ice Cream truck mod in ARMA2 lol
Enjoy!
P.S. I think the song name is called "greenslades" not sure though...
https://suno.com/playlist/9951d91f-892a-4fb4-b946-4affaeeeb3f1. Here are a few. Mostly using Music box. They are a variety. I think you can add more grungy prompts to make a more evil tune if for Halloween 🎃 👻
My favourites seemed when I added 8-bit, which distorted it a bit, giving that worn out player effect.
I started with Xylophone, but wasn't getting that toy Xylophone effect, it sounded too rich and Xylophone-y. So they didn't make the list.
I should have tried "looped samples" in the prompt to see if it started repeating, a true ice cream truck character.
Oh.... and I used v3.0.... NOT. 3.5.
Maybe my favourite. The 8-bit seems to help make it bouncer too. https://suno.com/song/0a1b28e9-86fe-4187-9d47-ed0c234de7b3
I tried "loop samples" with no effect in 3.0
The SVOD (second verse of death) has been with us since v3.5 was released. There hasn't been a perfect solution, but some seemingly helpful ones, such as putting an extention before that SVOD comes in. Then extending off THAT extention at the 00:01 mark.
Another recently discovered .....again (seems to make the rounds) is to manipulate either that specific 2nd verse on the previous gen which you extended from.... or as I did for awhile ... go back to the original run, and click edit lyrics, delete the whole lyrics in edit, add a space and save.
It appears to work, but from my doing that over 4 months, I'd say the next extention can sound like it doesn't belong as if it a new gen output altogether. Sometimes not a bad thing if youre doing prog rock. But worth a try.
Also, it's suggested to rethink your arrangement and lyrics. Start with either just an instrumental and add lyrics later as @charred merlin suggests, or start with just intro and verse 1, then build extentions off of that. Until you've completed a song. Perhaps running a couple of Covers to clean it up or enhance the arrangement a bit.
Anyway you go, it may take more patience and credits than expected.
If I can posit my observations, if not personally directed (since we haven't really been acquainted yet), then directed to others in your exact situation -- you're able to create amazing songs with little-to-no effort, but as you start to question WHY certain things about music production typical are the way they are, you're inadvertently receiving a crash-course in music theory
If you "let Suno take the wheel", as MANY do, it'll keep itself on the road most of the time & get you to your destination one way or another.
Like the best video games -- Suno is REMARKABLY easy to learn, and comparably harder to master.
tbf -- I've relied more on music appreciation than I have music theory
I suppose they're intertwined, but I don't believe Suno has any technical learning prerequisite, beyond a love of music -- an intuitive "feel" for it helps -- like know when a good time to wrap up a guitar solo would be.
I'd agree that the more invested you get in trying to ensure songs turn out specific ways, you inevitably educate yourself on music theory -- some people have background education, some people just go with it and embrace an "outsider art" feel, and some just end up getting introduced to a new skill and have a whole new universe to explore -- you're an audio engineer now, @tribal remnant 🙂
Oh, 100% there's still limitations, but AI development is just ridiculous -- we're roughly 1 year into it, imagine what Suno will look like a couple generations down the line when they're continuously building training data to improve the models.
The team have LOTS of songs made public -- and while I know they're pushing to create documentation ( https://help.suno.com being the foundations & likely large-scale home of the official docs), part of the issue is that A LOT of Suno's output is "vibing". There aren't a lot of "hard-coded" tags they can suggest, because what works for some might not work for all.
The "living documentation" is the guides, as far as I know.
The devs specifically assigned the guides because they demonstrated an understanding of how Suno works, and wanted to note that they considered them knowledgeable on the topics they choose to ramble about.
@unique stone has some WILD songs and gets really experimental with the metatagging, tbf. The pig song will forever haunt me.
I believe what happens is that there is a massive amount of music audio that the models are trained on, and then a corresponding amount of textual data from somewhere. I don't know if this is from the internet, if the music is processed somehow to generate text, but it seems the devs don't know what that text is so I assume it's part of the training. Sometimes if you format lyrics like a paragraph of text, it'll get read out instead of sung. Sometimes if you format stuff like a script it may get read out by different vocalists. I expect if they could tell us for certain what would work, they'd document it.
"Use a complex prompt twice, get 3 different results" (or would it be 6 different results... the math starts the mess the joke up)
I was about to say that I was "CERTAIN" that Chorus and verse are recognized by Suno to suggest the the upcoming block of lyrics should be presented differently from one another -- but then I realized that's still just a suggestion that you make to suno -- sometimes the chorus will sound different because it just so happened to "diffuse" that way, or perhaps there's too many metatags used so the AI is overloaded and it doesn't register the difference anyway
It's so hard to give definitive answers for a literal bleeding-edge generative technology
Which would also be their right, tbf
Sure, I expect they keep the training itself secret.
But if they could say "here are the tags we trained on, so you should be able to get results from them" I'm sure they would.
There has to be a reason they don't. Maybe because there's so many possible tags and no way to guarantee things would give meaningful results.
I think the biggest decider if a Chorus will be different than the other versus is what kind of style youre asking it to generate. Some styles just dont have that much diversity in melody throughout while others do
But to expand on that, I think Suno recognizes things like [Chorus] and [Pre Chorus] etc
I say "think" only because I dont have any actual info on how suno operates
other than magic
Maybe it can just read your mind though
Cant rule that out
(Circa April 1 2025) ".....just received my new Suno Brainwave Song Generator for Suno v5.5. This is nuts! I mean, I just laugh and it generates a song about what I was thinking. My girlfriend called an hour ago though and suno started blasting " I can't, I can't, I can't stand your voice....youre so complacent see, its like a neon sign blinking no vacancy " she wasn't too happy. Well anyway.... I'm chuffed at how accurate it reads my mind and emotions. I'm suppose to get the Suno Brainshifter module in a fews days and will try it out. They say it will change anyone's personality just by inputing suno songs. ...."
Suno could also be god, there's another possibility
our thoughts are all just electricity after all 🤷♂️ And what knows about electricity better than a robot
That week that they broke the time-space continuum and let the alpha testers play with v18 was pretty cool
Suno Scenes was upgraded to produce full-length imax movies -- it was ridiculous. But I mean, covers are still a lot of fun.

ZHZZHZHH! ayyiiahhh! The Suno Zap'o'nator just shocked me again cause someone dissed Suno . I'm now responsible for good PR for Suno and will get zapped everything someone has the slightest doubts of its prowess and skill.
Wait what.... someone just THOUGHT about it and it zapped me. Oh mannn! That's not good for me.
I apologize -- I wasn't trying to be outright dismissive and say NOTHING could be determined, a user provided a metatag that worked well for them in order to get a guitar solo instrumental -- I was able to get it to work with relative reliability in the song I was using at the time, but unfortunately that same prompt wouldn't work in every instance.
It's not that there's nothing understood or willing to be shared, it's just that the best advice that I've received from the devs is to keep an experimental approach, instead of trying to find "the right way", because there's so many considerations we can't even be aware of -- AI development and generative-tech is such a crazy new field that we're still understanding incrementally ❤️
I'm still learning new things every time I approach a new project in Suno, and each time I meet a new artist who gets excited about Suno and explores it as if it were an instrument.
I'm sorry that there isn't more of an instruction manual beyond the content in #1151542418991239168 to refer to, though I'd be surprised if having some form of rigidity or structure isn't high on their priority list for upcoming models so people can use Suno intuitively without the need for additional music theory training or documentation.
I think of it like this: It's all random. However, you can bias the randomness with certain meta tags and prompts. So maybe that guitar solo you want has like a 5% chance of appearing just from the training data, but if you put [this cool tag] in, it now has a 20% of happening.
I agree in that the hardest part of answering one who asks "what can I do to get this result" is that most wanted results are a combination of the style prompt, maybe some metatags, but moreso, the length and content of the lyrics.
If you want to get a boys choir to sing a country song, It might not work by using [country, boys choir] and have lyrics about trucks, trains and dogs. Where [boys choir] might work every time if your song is about cathedrals and angels.
That's what makes it SO hard -- it's all so contextual that you'd need to write specific documentation per genre, which themselves spectrum of spectrums these days.
Try testing simple concepts -- if Suno doesn't recognize them, you aren't able to control them.
That's what #1256301881966198805 started off as -- testing whether BPM and whatnot was controllable.
I understand you want the devs to outright tell you what can and can't be done -- they've encouraged people to experiment & named certain individuals as guides to help show the limits & how to work around them -- not just through demonstrations of their songs, but for the fact that they interact with the community and try to share answers to the very same questions they themselves had been asking just a few months prior.
I hate seeing my comment be the last one hanging out there lol
I used to be able to release any song with $500 and above…
Now, with barely $30, (10,000) Suno credits, It is possible to release 60 starter songs ($.50) a song.
Five of those songs made a big hit in a recent wedding.
I modified them somewhat!
How come Suno has no CHANNEL for Modified Suno Songs?
Just a thought!
The foundation is Suno.
The final product is my collaborations, studio knowledge, etc…
A Channel for that would be useful.
I don't mean, to post your songs on YouTube or elsewhere 🙄 and link to Suno.
…A channel for final mastered songs after modification
Anyone else getting this? Im signed in, with plenty of credits and subscription expiring next month.
No. But Suno was working fine a moment ago, now it isn't doing anything.
what's going on here? how will i do it?can't create.
Maybe try closing your browser and restarting it? Some people say it works but Suno could be having issues again. It's been working fine for me tonight.
I have been getting an error called the, “system error occured”. Because of this error I am not able to create any new songs. I am not sure why I am getting this issue. Is there any possible solutions for this?
I have tried to clear the browser, including uninstall! And then there's the same question. But you can use it if you create a new account. I suspect it's suno's problem. This account is broken!
Sounds like something you will need to contact support@suno.com to investigate and fix the cause of the issue
We cannot help you with account-related issues since this is pretty much a community-ran Discord
https://suno.com/song/ab5601e3-bb2b-4b62-af73-3e72da4b5eaa
I have a question about generating instrumentals. In this one I generated a while ago, there is a background orchestra that's muffled, or reverbed like it's in a different room. How do you get the prompt to replicate that sound?
Power-Metal, dark, intense, firey, heroic, ablaze, grande, epic, chaotic song. Listen and make your own with Suno.
Salut ! 🇫🇷 👋
Is there a reason why no application is available on Android?
The only thing available is some sort of poorly made copy, and it's not available for free users.
Using the browser on a mobile phone is not ideal, as you would agree, but I suppose there is a reason for this?
Does anyone else have a sudden issue where, when trying to extend a song, Suno generates one clip of five seconds in length, for which it immediately refunds your credits, and another that is fully two minutes but sounds like hot garbage compared to it's usual quality? And if so, how do I make it stop?
...Okay, now it's just giving me two 2-second clips of noise and refunding both immediately. Did Suno get into the recreational drug stash of the ENTIRE PLANET?
Hi, for a while now I've been having problems creating a full song or a crop song. As you can see in the picture, it tries but never completes.
Have you tried refreshing?
refreshing? i try section confirm
Just try it, sometimes suno shows it’s still loading and it fixes it by just refreshing for me
okay so what do I have to do
I have no other options than these.
I meant refreshing the page
Oh, I've refreshed the page and it doesn't fix the situation.
Darn, I’d try to record the screen as best I can to then report to the devs
I swe you have a full song , full song , full song and two original songs.
To crop, you may click on the menu ( . . . ) of one of the generations and choose Edit Details/Crop Song. That should bring up the crop screen and you choose then by highlighting the lyrics or sliding across the waveform of the song.
To get a full song, as you know, you would need an extension made first. So I think you are saying you want to Crop
Hoi, where can one suggest for features for suno's website?
Beta features, like crop, are available to pro and above members. Are you pro or premium?
It doesnt delete songs for space saving
Or whatever reason they have for not keeping old generation :P
It doesnt auto delete
Thanks :)
Hello, is there a way to download all the music from your library at once? Thanks in advance, for example in mp3
Unfortunately there isn't. I wish there was a way to bulk download a range of songs (especially painful for WAV because they take a few seconds to process before downloading, each...)
What do I do if my song is flagged as offensive and I can’t cover it, despite my song not being offensive?
They are still hiring Android developers, so it may take some time.
Even if there’s unofficial apps, using them may violate ToS
Since Suno uses a similar interface to ChatGPT, you can feed your lyrics into ChatGPT and ask what words might be triggering the auto moderation system — then you just change those words
The thing is I already have the song on Suno, just can’t use the cover feature. Suno tells me the issue is the words “you’re dead” but death is kind of the whole point of the song so.. can’t change it
Is there a way to tell Suno WHY you are downvoting your songs? I am always hesitant to use the thumbs down feature, for fear it will stop doing a bunch of stuff I actually LIKE
Unless you're using a beta feature such as Covers, downvoting a song has no effect other than hiding it from your Create page.
For beta features all it does is indicate to the devs that the output is "wrong" (e.g. a cover outputting exactly the same song, or a completely different song)
Thumbs down won’t impact your generations in the short term, same with reporting … > Report > Bug …, it just impacts future models.
Thumbs down has the added short term benefit of removing tracks from your create page, while leaving them in the library view.
Good to know, thanks guys. Grrr...
Where I've seen this before, it's because Suno thinks "you're dead" is a producer tag (which, because they are the same audio clip used in many songs, producer tags probably have a strong presence in the training data and I don't think Suno want users to be able to trigger these to be generated to make "fake" songs by those producers...)
General way around things the Suno auto-moderation objects to, is to mis-spell stuff phonetically such as "your ded", "yoor ded", etc. It's a dumb way around it, but it's the only way I know of.
I’ll try that, thank you❤️
It worked 🔥🔥🔥
Great 😄 glad it helped
The weird thing is that it is flagging these things in Covers only, while the initial song was already generated. Almost like the Cover feature is using a different model or at least a different moderation system than the versions that are available...
I don't know the specific differences but yes, Covers behaves differently. Given that it seems to have more diverse output (e.g. "theremin" works reliably whereas in a newly generated v3.5 song it apparently does not), it's likely powered by a refined version of v3.5.
My theory is that Covers is using the yet to be released (but much anticipated) v4
I'd hope the mp3 bitrate might be higher with v4. It's probably v3.5 with additional training data, and some developments that have been done so far for v4. But that's just a wild guess based on how it seems more diverse, has generally better-quality output, whilst still outputting 192kbps mp3 - plus "inpainting" (replace section) being something that was meant to come with v4 so there must be something different going on.
Anyone having the ol' gender of singer issue today more than usual? This is my prompt: Pipe Organ, Male Vocals, Ambient Trip-hop, Ethereal, Peaceful, Choral Vocals Back Up, Medieval Instrumentation, Melodic, ‑female vocals, ‑distorted lyrics, ‑Woman Vocals, ‑Female Vocalist. Also have every stanza or song labeled for male vocals.
Given that it seems to take slightly less time to generate a clip than to play it back (i.e. you can stream it whilst it's generating but you can't skip too far ahead) I very strongly doubt that it is regenerating the whole clip from a seed when you request a WAV download. It definitely isn't just rendering a WAV from the MP3 because there's additional frequencies etc. not present in the MP3. The audio must be getting stored somewhere though. I'd guess maybe it's just transferred from somewhere to the CDN when you choose the WAV download option and that's what the small delay is.
Can I edit specific layer? Or add sound over an existing track?
Not natively within suno.com 🙏 Paid subscribers can crop & trim, but it's not quite the same as editing layers.
There's no way that suno is regenerating a song every time you play it instead of storing it.
Is it possible to replace a section of a song which is also part of an extension itself, and then continue the extension for the whole song?
For example, I'm working on a song which currently has 2 parts but will need at least 3 total, and the part I want to edit is in Part 2. I'd prefer to edit it rather than completely regenerate it as the tune works perfectly for what I'm going for, but one line of the lyrics isn't quite flowing correctly. I've already tried to replace the section in Part 2, but when I then try to extend from that corrected Part 2, it's instead treated as a whole new song and will assume the corrected Part 2 is actually Part 1 and extends into a new Part 2. Therefore, once the full song is requested, it ignores everything that happened prior to the section replace.
In theory, I also know I could potentially generate the whole song and then do a replace section on that instead, but this only works for tracks with total length shorter than 4 minutes, and Part 2 starts at the 3:30 mark with the actual amendment approximately 45 seconds into it, so that's not an option here.
TL;DR: What I want to ultimately generate as the whole song is Part 1, amended Part 2, Part 3, etc...
Edit for reference, I'm a Pro user so I can use the extra tools available to Pro users
I was afraid you'd say that, but thanks for confirming it anyway. It would be a nice feature to have on songs longer than 4 minutes once it comes out of the testing stage, but oh well.
I've discovered something.. Upon opening and closing "Notifications" it jumps backwards and fowards in time..
Now everything is "59 seconds ago" for me
Give people an inch, they'll want a mile! 😛
I think it should eventually be unlimited, but perhaps it would cost extra credits for anything over a certain length
I would agree with that if there was a way to limit how long a generation will be
While I wasn't able to specify the exact length, I posted a Prompt Experiment Playlist here 👉 #1256301881966198805 message, where I give ~70 examples showing how motto combined with simple style prompts resulted in generations that resolved within 30s ~84% of the time. 👀
Oh wow, that's useful to know, thanks! There are so many times when I want a short generation to work off of, so that might come in handy
I'm looking into whether or not it can be used to end a song more reliably than just using end as a style prompt, but I'll make another playlist if I come across anything interesting 🙂
Ending songs can definitely be frustrating, I'm learning that more and more the deeper into Suno I get haha
I also find that for some time now,
it has become more and more complicated to finish with standard tags,
like [Fade out], [Fade out to end], [Instrumental Fading Out to End], [End].
You often have to look for a place in the song where there is no interference from the other previous tags.
It's a knack! But it's very annoying^^ Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!
Yeah, my read on it is that at certain points, Suno seems to basically say "we're doing this", and ignores tags because it has already started the process of what it wants to do. I've had success just going further back, but then sometimes that has caused issues with like... humming for example getting cut off. Definitely a frustrating experience. I only just recently started using Suno (first time using any AI music tool). I envy the people who saw the earlier versions when it (from what I've read) didn't have this problem.
I'm sure there were plenty of other issues that got better since though haha
Yes, 3.5 is better in many ways than 3.0.
But, it seems to me that nothing prevents us from seeking the fruit of the quality of V3.0, then finalizing or extending in V3.5...
I am paid dw, but I was trying to help someone, I wasn't having issues this time!
If there was a really succesful song, can you like re use the voice and genre for another one if you get what i mean?
How can I make the voices less auto-tuney?
While it’s not impossible, at the moment there isn’t a straightforward solution built into Suno.
While prompting does play into the matter, the best examples of this largely boil down to trial & error / luck o’ the draw.
Any ideas where I can find such a tool?
While there’s other tools that might handle specific situations better, I absolutely love BandLab — incredibly artist forward, everything for free (paid extras for members, but zero impact on how ridiculously impressive the free tier is — I haven’t subscribed and ADORE the free tier)
The splitter separates your songs into vocals, drums, bass, and other, and you can use their in-browser studio to edit everything and add separate tracks overtop (including your own vocals)
Paid Suno members can upload up to 120s of content back into Suno to extend from, so you can take an “okay” song and make it great depending on the amount of elbow grease you’re willing to put in 😄
Hmmm, only a robot would have greasy elbows 🤔

I don't mind the credits, I throw them in the trash without even counting. The problem with songs longer than 4 minutes is that each subsequent use of Extend adds noise to the track, and if there are many extensions, by the end, it becomes unbearable to listen. I was working on a ballad recently, and the song ended up being 11:40 long, with 6 extensions used. The beginning sounds so clean and pristine, but by the end, it's just all dirty sound with constant noise in the background...
Do you use "get whole song" in between extensions, or are you extending off extensions 6 times in a row? ("get whole song" doesn't cost credits, and extending from a full song is different from stacking extensions)
Yes, I’m layering extension upon extension, so I’m getting noise squared. Not a bad idea to use 'Get whole song' in between, I’ll try that when I have time. Thanks for the idea!
plus using 'get whole song' helps mitigate the "suno noise" somewhat
Just like @leaden lark points out, it helps mitigate the continuation of the static (and I always feel like the Whole Song version sounds cleaner than the 2 parts separately...)
BUT Suno either can't or can't easily infer context from anything before what you're extending from -- this means that if you extend from Part 2 in order to create Part 3, that new extension possibly has NO idea what the original segment sounded like, and the only similarity would be inferred from anything continued in Part 2 -- the problem is, sometimes the extensions only keep a hint of the original melody, so without "Get Whole Song" to tie everything together, it very quickly resembles the schoolyard game of Telephone where the message changes over time.
that is so true, sometimes you need to reuse the first parts style to get back to where the beginning sounded like to keep it going, but that can be tricky sometimes
So, why can't we directly cover stems? Is it supposed to be that way?
But I want to write my 48 minute symphony in just one prompt. When will the limit be extended to 1 hour? ☺️
Hmm, how do I use stems?
Oh no I don't mean that. I mean I made a stem of one of my songs but I don't know for what purpose.
But I do have an audio splitter program anyway
Hope someone can advise... the quality of my songs is not the best.. how do i improve them... also when downloading stems, the instrumental has elements of the vocal which is quite annoying
Hey guys, has anyone got anytips on how to workaround the 120 second limit for covers? Like I have a bunch of songs I'd like to cover, but cutting them up and running sections through cover, then stitching them back together gives inconsistent sections
Sometimes when I try to cover a song I get the same song I wanted to cover just in another pitch/speed despite changing the genres. Anyone knows why?
Thanks. It seems to be working again.
I get an occasional successful request but mostly down still here
Yeah it's down
Can anyone help? I'm on the Pro plan but don't have access to the Edit (I click on the three dots, but no edit option is there)
Help! I created a song that's meant to be a solo but Suno made it a duet. How can I remove the male voice?
You can't, you just need to make a new generation.
If the voice you want sings first, before the other voice, then you can extend from the point before the other voice sings to hopefully keep the voice you want
bots
Nope. Just a buggy website.
It's especially helpful if you want to edit the tracks externally -- using https://www.bandlab.com/studio as a free in-browser example, to record your own vocals overtop the instrumental stem -- or perhaps you want to get rid of the vocal stem & use the in-Suno Clip feature to remove a section of instrumentals that you want to use as the start of a new song 🙂 💪
While the v1 release of Stem Separation might not be industry-leading, as a ridiculously quick way of getting a karaoke version of a Suno song you've come to love, it's a QoL feature for less technically-savvy users
im cant seam to get a extend done at the moment someone else having the same problems at the moment ? kinda looks like that
This happens more frequently if you’re extending from silence at the very end of a track — if that’s the case, try moving the extension point a bit earlier to a point when the song is still going strong 💪
that worked thanks for the hint /cheers :)
Hi everyone)
🚨 Is there anyone here from the Suno team?
🚩 I have a very burning question (2) (of a legal nature).
After the Suno x Flosstradamus contest, where participants extended the excerpts from the Flosstradamus track posted by Suno and created their own original songs based on the excerpts provided (and I also created original verses for my songs and new beats respectively), and now in light of the upcoming Timbaland + Suno contest, where Suno will provide the opportunity to remix Timbaland's track “Love Again” who will own the rights (exclusive or non-exclusive) to the tracks created by the contestants? And how to properly use them for commercial purposes?
Hi Everyone, I have a question about prompting within Suno, Is it possible perform incremental hint prompting for progressive sound design?
Rather than prompting for the final audio product in one go, give Suno incremental hints to refine and progressively improve the output.
for example, Start with broad prompts, such as “Generate a forest soundscape,” and then iteratively provide hints like “Add bird sounds at 10-second intervals,” or “Increase wind intensity after 1 minute.”
this will allow me to "develop" the music the way I choose rather then having one-shot prompt.
Hi ! Sorry if this is not the correct channel for that, but, there is any possibility to make an official integration with Suno from API? my client want to automatizate the songs generation for a weeding platform and i didnt see any information about API in the docs. Official docs is this => https://suno-ai.notion.site/Docs-Guides-Resources-38e5ba5856d249a89dcea31655f4fb74 ?
There's no API offered by Suno at this time. Any that you do find are reverse-engineered hacks that are against Suno's ToS and can't result in actions being taken on accounts used with them, and they may stop working when Suno block them.
The team generally don't field questions in Discord - sometimes they reach out in response to bug reports, on rare occasions might casually chat.
Probably best to ask this to support@suno.com where you'll get an official answer. Might take a couple of days to hear back.
Thanks !! ❤️
Forgot to ask: could you edit your post to remove the link to that API website please?
I want to use Growl voice such as in metal-core,screamo genre music.
What should I use in prompt to control such like voice type?
I can use Fry scream voice ,such like the prompt of [Fry scream shout].
And false chord scream is the same thing I can.
Furrybeans raises a good point that asking official support is the way to go — but https://help.suno.com/en/articles/2871105 this might be helpful.
Same as if someone extends from your song — they can’t monetize it without YOUR permission. Unless Timbaland gives YOU explicit permission to monetize it, pretty sure songs using his stems are just for fun and promotional use
There are several factors when determining rights or ownership to an extension. First, let's discuss the basics of ownership relating to songs made in...
Technically that IS one of the official documentation pages, but it seems to be outdated back from when Suno was Chirp v1 👀
https://help.suno.com is the current knowledgebase for Suno.com
sorry if this has already been asked, but I'm trying to edit a section of a generation and I can't input any lyrics because the max is -203 characters
any tips?
okay, nevermind, it fixed itself somehow after going back to the tab and messing around with time select like 10 times
How do I add a video I created onto the music I made public?
Suno only shows video in the Suno Scenes feature for iOS, afaik -- you'd need to download your song from Suno use an external program to make a video
But that's not something that lives on Suno.com, you'd need to upload it to Discord or youtube or something
Have already created a video via CapCut and would like to share it
Awesome -- I hope people enjoy your song!
On the Suno-side of things, unless you're uploading the video on the iOS app to be used as inspiration for a song (the Suno Scenes feature on iOS #📢┃announcements message), that video doesn't have anywhere to be uploaded on the site for you to share it.
So you'd need to upload it to Discord or youtube or something.
Thank you theharber!! Have had a few good responses. I will have to upload it on here once I suss that out!! Have a great day!! I’m Tiga Tunes on Suno!!
You really can convey more by setting your songs to video, it can be particularly powerful if you created that song with a musical narrative in mind that the video can accentuate -- I'm excited for you 😄
My day's just starting, and it's turning out wonderfully so far -- hoping likewise for yourself! ☕
Hey, why is it happening that I’m getting a song and in the intro it’s perfect volume and then the volume is going down and down in the middle of the song that doesn’t make sense because nothing in the description or prompt is describing something like that.
By the way, I’m still experiencing a lot of credit waste because although I’m prompting everywhere have male voice it’s still happening a lot of times that I am getting a female voice
Had the same issue unfortunately it just happens sometimes. Can be frustrating but keep at it 👍🏾 perfection takes time
Is there a good way to repair the music after removing vocals? Stem split is really bad quality.
Any other services out there for this?
While the largest determining factor on Suno's output is what we use as input, It's not anything that you're doing wrong, this is the nature of generative AI -- you can report these generations from ... > Report > Bug > Poor Audio Quality to help train future models of Suno against these types of results 💪
You can try to remove the stems using a different stem splitting tool -- I recommend https://www.bandlab.com/splitter, which can import directly into their in-browser editing tool -- you can fix A LOT in your song with just those 2 connected on-website tools 😄
Thanks. I will try that
I keep getting this error when downloading wavs.. anyone else have this issue.. please help if there is a work around..
Provided that you're not being prompted to update payment information on https://www.suno.com/account, it might just be a matter of trying a different browser-- if you're on a chromium browser (most of them) you could try something non-chromium based (eg. Firefox, Safari), I've seen that resolve the matter a number of times.
Genuinely not sure what causes it 🤔
thank you.. i use edge.. never really used firefox.. will try... i hope downloading wavs resolves the quality issue I have been having..
You can also try using an AI auto-mastering service like https://www.bandlab.com/mastering to clean up the audio after the fact 💪
Sometimes I get angry at how phenomenal Bandlab is... for free... they're too good.
S/O to @charred merlin for helping members! This community is the amazing that it is because of people like you that continuously help members learn and grow! 🫡
Rafael Nadal-level return as I spike the compliment back to @daring lava -- he busts his ass behind the scenes to implement genuinely helpful changes like the Knowledgebase @ https://help.suno.com and never asks for credit.
There's so many genuinely amazing people working thanklessly to build the foundations of something really cool, and I'm glad to hang around & be a part of it 🙂
MikeB handled all that 💪 Did a tremendous job too if I may say so myself!
But thank you all the same! We do have a ton of people that work really hard to help make this server and Suno a great thing for members!
just tried the splitter and it "failed to fetch"....
https://www.bandlab.com/splitter ? or the Suno-side stem separation?
😅 I love Suno, but if you're intending to split the stems for continued work, it might be better to use an external service for that part
bandlab
Usually just indicates a temporary network issue -- while any follow-up for that would land on the Bandlab-side of things in terms of support, if you wanted to DM me the track, I could see if I get the same issue so we could rule out whether or not it's an issue with the file itself?
i have sent you a DM
Firefox FTW again
Hello everyone, I'm just trying out the replace section tool. I know it's in beta and all. But I'm trying to repair a mispronounced word in the song and it doesn't seem to work at all. The sections created just repeat the same thing.. I even tried to used phonetics and it completely ignores it.
It's not possible to create songs without any drums on SUNO ? Is it ?
Have you tried excluding that from the styles
Yes I did.. -Drums -Percussions
Is there a way to get artifacts for voice and instruments out of the song by mastering it with Suno itself?
Theoretically possible? I'd argue so, yes.
A reasonable use of credits and free time, from which you'll emerge sanity in-tact? Potentially not.
I thought I read somewhere you can basically remaster your track after it's done and reduce noise effects and the like, that would go back to the start of the song
Anybody able to fix lyrics with the replace section?
I've used it to change a line in a song from Will set you right with me to Will set me right with you - worked quite nicely.
Ok I'll give a try again but for me it just repeats the same thing or just makes random noises
The ability to remaster songs isn't a feature outright in Suno, though you can achieve a similar effect through the use of covers while trying to get the same style -- the issue is that Covers is designed to reimagine the song, so it's intended to make changes to your song (the fact that it spits it out the same-ish song with slight variations could be a beta-bug)
It's possible to make adjustments to sections using the Replace Section tool, but as the other conversation occurring suggests, it doesn't always return things as we wanted.
If you have sections you want to tidy up, or general mastering, it's usually more direct to address those externally, as the more specific of a sound you're trying to affect, the harder it generally is to create it through the use of complex prompting.
Thanks for the answer 🙂
I'll have to try with covers and replacements, then sigh
That said, you could use an external splitter to isolate and remove unpleasant sections, then an external mastering tool like https://www.bandlab.com/mastering to make everything sound good, and feed the first 120s back into Suno to have it extend from, if you wanted to make the best of both worlds
If there's a song that you keep wrestling with, shoot me a DM and we could take a look at different ways to tackle the issue 🙂
Na, want to hold it internal to Suno, as first I don't have the software for it and second it's for a song I wanted to get into the SSC6 and It's more or less done, just those artifacts 😉
No matter how I select or modify the lyrics it doesn't even try something it keeps repeating the original part.
I've selected the part to change (10 seconds or more) inserted the correction on the right clicked replace section made sure that it's the correct part in the old lyrics getting changed. Then all of the generations gives me the old version back it doesn't even try to change something in it
does anyone know if it is possible to put multiple songs/stems together on Suno?
Hi, I'm looking for a way to generate music similar to a BGM track I enjoy. Is it possible to upload a song and have AI analyze it to suggest prompts that would help create music in the same style?
Hello ! Working on a python script to auto export SRT
Have someone already done that ?
When Replacing Selection. Can I make the selection that contain lyrics be instrumental instead?
Hello friends! I would like to share with you a disappointing adventure in all respects.
Imagine, I was so enthusiastic to participate in this cover / remix contest of "love again" by this outstanding musician that is Timbaland…
Yes, but after having concocted a personalized version
of this magnificent title, there you go, I am frantically reading
the small print at the bottom of the dedicated site!
I will not say here, the words that came out of my mouth,
for the sake of decency!
So, the question is, what do I do with the cover that has been so harshly reworked?
Goodbye, of course, the $100,000... 🎃
Open to U.S. residents only, must be 18+. Subject to official rules available here: suno.com/loveagain/terms.
What was the fine print?
I added them in bold for my part ^^
Anyone tried changing a verse to instrumental. Or even just remove a line in averse?
Hey guys
i got a technical question
a month ago i bought a subscription
just for month
Suno sends me email and puts the timbaland song on my profile without asking. Makes me waste time and credits and forgets to mention it’s only for people in USA!! What absolute nonsense is this 🤡
but I had like only 2000 credits left and about 70 cover credits
but i didn't spent everything
i want at least my credits back, because i am now only at 50 credits
i know it was like for month
but i want at least credits i bought
would there be a possible way to deal with this situation please?
Exact same thing happened with me. I’m so disappointed and angry 😠
You won’t get anything back unfortunately
cuz i want to believe, that Suno is not a steal
and I have at least the right to get my credits back
Good luck getting in contact with them. I have tried before. To get credits back from songs with lots of errors, but got no answer or credits
You can ask billing@suno.com but they clearly state that credits dont carry over. so, you don't have the "right" to get your credits back.
@steady kelp , would you do me please a favor and get answer at least for us?
Hey! Let me take a moment to catch up here. I’m usually just in dms and general 😅
I am sorry
but i believe we can someone speak about this situation please
somehow
Yeah! The someone is me 😎
So billing@ and support@ email addresses both reach my team, but rarely get to me personally. Happy to help here though.
I see you and Martin had an issue with expiring credits
but if that would be possible, I wouldn't get mad. I am fan of this Ai, because it helped me a lot
of course
yeah
Let’s talk it out, DM me with your Suno handle.
I’ll do my best to make things right 👍🏻
thank you, sir
does someone know how i might get like a male verse and a female verse, and joining them in the chorus?
I do have a question regarding the presented tracks/stems from Timbaland. Are we free to use them in generations and upload those songs elsewhere or is there a copyright issue with it?
For those either submitting to the contest and even for those who arent but still wanna play with it.
See section 8 of the contest details for details about the intellectual rights(https://drive.google.com/file/d/1B-DoWaAeEmTo8j8_au5viBuEno2tQFBZ/view?usp=sharing)
https://help.suno.com/en/articles/2871105 I imagine it's the same as anything else, without express permission from Timbaland, you wouldn't be able to monetize the song since you don't have the rights to the portions he wrote.
Same as if someone extends from your song -- they would need to ask your permission before monetizing it.
I think the exciting part here is that a recognized producer is making his content available to use on the platform -- whereas usually uploading his content would be against ToS.
There are several factors when determining rights or ownership to an extension. First, let's discuss the basics of ownership relating to songs made in...
Appreciate it, not for me. But I know it'll come up sooner or later.. Easier to point to a post where it's said.
Purple section may be of the most interesting. You can share on social media for promotion during this period. And peach section (at the end) prohibits selling or exploiting said work or stems
Oh!
Well it's like I'm back as a free-user.. So I'll just use that headspace and we gucci.
Being a paid user doesn't mean that you own extensions from other users, though.
hey beautiful family, not sure if this topic has been addressed, but:
as AI keeps evolving, our prompts become more and more advanced and part of our identity and recipe of our products
Is there a way to ''protect'' your style of music in SUNO? If your style of music will be part of your identity and unique flair / recipe for your creations
Is this being considered in the future?
thanks ✊ 🔥
I'm aware. It's why it's dangerous to extend from random sources if you want to do something off-suno with it.
The best way to protect your prompting methods is to not make your "serious songs" public on Suno.com, don't share the song links, and only release the audio elsewhere 🧠👈
yes absolutely! but for Contests it's a bummer not to have that feature
While it's not a directly offered method, 1 cheeky workaround would be to start a generation with a "decoy" style prompt, then immediatey extend from it at 0:01 with the styles you genuinely want to use -- when you "Get Whole Song", I believe the final result should only show the first style prompt used
hahahahaha that sounds good, i was using (no style) covers but what you mention + cropping should work it out! hopefully not too time consuming
thanks for the interaction and help sir 🫡
::cough::
I need help with the Replace function. I have selectionned the part that i want to replace... but impossible to change the style.
I'm on an acoustic guitar, but the climax part is to soft, i would like to add more instrument but all my attempt doesn't work...
Any idea or suggestion to make the climax more climax??
lmao -- I specifically was thinking of you when I wrote that, Mr. Enraged Goats on Welfare 😂
haha
As an example: https://suno.com/song/b7933512-fdf9-40be-ab87-4364ed4af5c1
The prompt looks like it's for:
Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, Aggressive, Guttural Vocals, Glitchcore Rage, Distorted Guitars, Wailing Solo
...but what you actually hear is:
Opera, Dynamic Expressive Female Vocals, Classical, Baroque, Opera Seria, Romantic, Operetta
It'll keep the casual users at bay, but anyone with the right tools can still gain access to all of the extensions/segments that make up the track and then dissect what you did.
Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, Aggressive, Guttural Vocals, Glitchcore Rage, Distorted Guitars, Wailing Solo song. Listen and make your own with Suno.
Also... lolz! I forgot I made that one. I am re-entertained!
Is there a way to force spanish from Spain variant? I'm just listening to spanish songs and i apparently hear only Latin American variants, even in styles like andalusian flamenco
The contest instructions are confusing. It says to get Stems for Love Again but then to cover them. Once I got the Stems for the song, it does not give option to Cover. Anyone able to provide clarity?
Are you on a paid plan? Only paid plan users can use the Cover feature.
Yes, I am on pro plan.
Out of curiosity, did you use the "stems" that were provided, or did you upload the song for yourself and separate the stems?
I went to this page:
https://suno.com/playlist/2479ec84-fc53-4611-b014-0ffc90c030dd?campaign=timbaland
I don't see where the Stems are already provided.
WHOOPS. User error. Didn't see the super tiny scroll bar at the bottom. ;🙈
The segments weren't made available until earlier today, but I think the song was available for a bit, so you may have been just a touch early -- best of luck!
Not sure if this is the right place to post this... I can't "Confirm lyrics being replaced" in the replace section because it won't scroll down to the button to click.
Funny. I'm trying to avoid Castellano in Merengue or other Latin American music genres, but more often than not Suno reverts to "original" Spanish. Drives me mad. 😂
wait wait wait we can get back expired credits lolol i assumed it was just gone
i hence why i tell people not to pay for more that 10 bucks for this since i did and could nto generate enough in one month to use it
From what I heard, Support is pretty gracious when you encounter the situation the first time around and may credit you the lost credit.
I do not think they would be as willing the subsequent times as you were made aware.
shiii i have been making stuff with teh daily credits just assumed it was like the time i supported uber duck
every song i create is failing with an error. is there an issue going on right now?
same probleme here
I was about to ask if anyone else is suddenly getting the "generic OpenAI error" when trying to create
forced relog. trying again
I'm tryna make some villain origin stuff here, like c'mon. this error is annoying.
working now
not for me
For me the whole side freezed and now I can't even load the suno hp
Hello i recently paid for a subscription but It keeps telling me generic openAI error is there a way to fix this
It's back on
Whats the optimal aspect ratio and size for the song images?
I'm curious if anyone knows a good way of having slow, drawn out vocals that sit somewhere between speaking and singing, probably more towards the speaking side.
Ghostly/dreamy style tags sometimes half do the trick, but it always seem to err on the side of singing/typical pop vocals. I usually have to pair it with "slow" or "low tempo" etc. But there are times when I want a fast track with slow/drawn out vocals.
I'm not sure if I'm able to give real world examples here?
Yeah, I guess the issue is I'm not super music literate haha. I've tried a bunch of genres that feature the vocals, but I don't know if the particular type of vocals I like have a specific term etc
Yeah, I haven't messed around with inline tags enough, I'll have to do some experimenting. The type of vocals I'm meaning are more of a consistent thing through the whole song though, so I imagine that would need to be more of a style tag solution. Like a kind of ambient talk-singing.
Is there a cap on submissions for the contest?
Might be easier if you don't try generating this all at once, in one shot. Get the vocals you want by prompting whatever you have to, even if it's the wrong kind of music. Then try shifting the song genre into a new music genre while preserving the vocals with some shorter extensions. If you don't mind not being able to toggle the song public, you could do a more powerful version of this by manually editing together an audio track to Upload and mashing together the music style and voice. After Extending or Covering, a series of such things, Suno can usually blend whatever weird music you jammed into the upload file.
That said, dreamy slower vocals combined with faster tempo music isn't that unusual, I bet it could be prompted in one shot as well.
That's interesting, I hadn't thought of that, I'll definitely do some more experimenting. I often start with instrumentals and move from there, or just try doing it all at once to get a feel for what's doable. Doing vocals first is interesting. I guess I've had a hard time generating that type of vocal whatsoever though. There have been a couple of times but it's 'very' hit or miss. Suno seems to love drifting towards the typical pop vocals, whereas my favourite are sort of... mellow? Throughout the entire thing. No highs or lows.
So think about the vocalists you like and look up there genres. Try different prompts combos hardcore punk female vocals, Metal growl vocals, r&b vocals etc
I've had some decent success pulling hardcore punk vocals and getting them to blend with metal vocals.
I try very hard to avoid familiar "suno voices" in all my songs. I know exactly what you mean by "drift" as well, 100%. Also drift towards synths instead of real instruments, like a violin slowly turns into a synth violin.
In terms of vocal identity this used to require a huge amount of effort. But the Cover feature makes this easier now because you can usually focus on the song itself even if the singer sounds generic, and fix the singer later with a cover.
Feel free to use a clip of one my dreamier voices to start your song from if you can't get it with a prompt. Here's a recent favorite. It might hallucinate though, since that was the concept behind the song. Oh I meant to reply to @stuck basin msg
vocal, vocal, vocal, vocal song. Listen and make your own with Suno.
The problem that I've run into, is the kind of vocalists I'm meaning are in the indie-pop/ambient-pop genre, and while I'm not super familiar with the genre, that just seems to spit out generic pop vocals on Suno haha. Am I able to list an example to give an idea? I'm not sure if linking/mentioning real world artists is allowed here. That might sort of give an indication of the vocals I'm meaning. It basically feels like there is a term that I just don't know for these type of vocals.
Anyone has been succesull at changing the voice of a song to a clearer voice now that we have newer features like cover song?
I'm just having another listen to some of the artists I like & the music I've made, maybe it's the reverb? They all seem to have pretty very heavy reverb. I just can't get good reverb on the vocals no matter what I do. That in combination with half-talking/singing just gives a really calming effect.
Edit: The tip of working on vocals first is actually getting some results. It's not perfect but it's closer to what I'm trying to achieve.
Replace Section feature is 100 percent broken. It does not change the lyrics exactly how it should be it just writes a new melody as if it’s generating a new song. Next for certain songs it becomes extremely stubborn it refuses to change the lyrical line and keeps using the old lyrical line. Moral of a story. Never release a feature that does not function.
The only real way of editing the lyrics is by singing the track yourself and eliminating the AI vocals.
it has worked exactly twice for me
Yeah 90% of the time the covers just spit out the same track it seems. From what I've read, cutting down the styles seems to minimise that, but it's still an issue.
Forget this message, didn't end up working like I thought so I'm editing it away 🤦

Trying to mix Bechstein Piano and Symphonic Metal, but other than this one generation, Suno keeps giving me piano solos.
Bechstein Piano, Symphonic Metal, theme is "Land of Carnage and Triumphant over ultimate aversity" song. Listen and make your own with Suno.
Not sure how to rephrase the prompt better to mix the two
Uppload audio wont work, nettwork error
How are you guys handling it to be sure to get a male voice, which is singing I never experienced so many times to get a female voice although I am prompting male voice this is really disgusting the last few days and it’s costing me a lot of credits which could be used in a better way
The Timbaland contest? Rules say you can submit mutiple entries, then only your highest ranked Entry will be eligible for further ranking or rewards.
Hi i would like to change some words on the song, mantaining the same music type. the song is already edited, but i need to make some changes, how to do it?
does anyone know if the Timberland song was actually generated within Suno? the sound quality is much higher than normal 3.5 generations?
leads me to wonder if they have much higher quality generation capabilities that are not publically available yet
There's no way to be 100 percent sure. The AI tends to male or female voices in certain genres. Although I can't say that I had big problems with the prompted voices I wanted. To make sure I put two voice prompts into the box. For example Alto voice and female vocals oder Baritone/Tenor and male vocals (something like that). Works most of the time for me.
Do you know what is the meaning of "Must be original audio between 6 and 120 seconds long. Audio with vocals detected will be made private-only."
This means that uploaded audio without vocals are going to be public...?
It means you cannot switch the uploaded audio or anything made from it to be "public".
i.e. you won't be able to use this to make it public
Everything is private ("link only") by default, even uploads. Anything without a voice detected can (if you want) be made public.
Thank you, very useful to know my original audio is gonna be private 😄
I was paranoid about being public to everyone
how/where do we submit the Timbaland contest thing?
i've done the song just wanna know how/where do we submit it?
@hollow hare would u know?
Just making the song public was sufficient IIRC, so long as it was covered/extended from one of the given stems from this page, see the contest rules PDF for more info.
Just be aware that the prizes are limited to 18+ USA residents only.
For response from the team about this situation, please see #💬┃general-chat message
You are still free to make the remix if you do not meet those requirements.
oh nvm then pretty useless thats its usa only
im in aus
😑 🙄
I understand why you'd feel that way -- know that it blazes the path for similar contests globally.
Having a famous producer (someone who rappers and artists would typically BUY the beats and music from) embracing Suno as an instrument is really exciting.
If these limitations mean that they were able to set the contest up in the first place, I think it should be celebrated that these types of connections are being made, rather than lambasting the team for not holding everything back for the ultimate name of "fairness".
Not every opportunity is meant for everyone, but seeing how new Suno is in the market, I'd argue this is a raeally amazing first step.
and?
im confused why your saying this to me?
I hope you have a better day, @cerulean merlin
pls dont say to me 😑
i never said this made my day worse i only said its useless
also you really dont know, how i feel by suno right now, like you have no idea how i feel about suno
I didn't say that Suno is a source of anything 🙏 -- I just hope that you have a good day, and that you have more things to look forward to
. . . . and anything else will be normal default of "private" unless you choose to switch on "public".
yeah there's nothing to look forward to
.... not only embraced but joined as a strategic advisor. Good for him and Suno. Hazzah!
Now all I need to do is attempt to be more social and learn to use tiktok. It's not the effort, it's the time. But i'm working on it.
Hello Suno Team,
I’m reaching out to express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding the current state of features available to free users. It feels extremely unfair that only paid users are receiving the significant updates and new features. As a free user, it's disheartening to see the gap widening, especially when Udio seems to be offering more valuable features for all users, including those on the free plan.
You’ve introduced great features like covers, instrumental and vocal stems, exclude styles, crop songs, and replace sections, but free users haven't benefited from any of these. Instead, we are left with minor updates that don't enhance our experience. This situation is making me reconsider my loyalty to Suno, as Udio appears to be a more inclusive platform with better offerings for free users.
The cost of living is increasing, making it even harder for me to justify spending money on subscriptions. (example 4 things at the shop is over 70$) This financial pressure, coupled with the lack of meaningful updates for free users, adds to my daily stress and frustration. I feel like Suno is prioritizing paid users at the expense of the broader community, which is incredibly disheartening.
Please consider introducing valuable updates and features for free users as well. It would greatly improve our experience and show that Suno values all its users, not just those who can afford to pay.
Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns. I hope you understand the impact this has on users like me and consider making changes to address these issues.
Best regards,
Chatterwolf

Hello Suno team,
I have pro version but I can modify the text of my work. I make couple of spelling mistakes and the song sound wired and I'm not able to modify
Please help me out
Maybe some of you can help me out
just leave me alone please
Hey @golden knot, can you elaborate on how you aren't able to modify?
Does it give an error message?
No it's just not elaborate anything and leave the same error. Even if in the script is modified
and im saying this again esspisily after they do the contest thing and i cant even enter
I tried to modify all the chore with other words just to see if it detecte but nothing either
I hear you. There's generally been a life cycle where products are introduced to paid users first, then will become available to all users. We anticipate some of the current paid features will go this route, but also, some features will likely stay behind the paywall. Just being transparent, letting you know that I totally acknowledge that a lot of new features dropped in a short period of time, so it looks like there's a substantial gap. It's a balance, but I'm confident you'll find reasons to stick around, and I hope we can give you some of those features soon. In fact, you can try out Covers via the Timbaland contest, even if you're not in a region that can win.
ive cant even pay for suno too i just remembered
I legit didn't know covers were made free for that contest -- that's a cool move 🙂
@steady kelp are u a developer can u help me?
i few months ago i tried to do one subscription but it kept telling me to use another card cause it was infiniston funds but there was more than enough
so thaats another reason im a free user
im forced to be one
not a dev, but you can always reach out to my team at support@suno.com if you don't make much progress here.
that part is something best worked on directly with your bank, or via email with support. We could probably give more insight, but that's not something I'd do in a public channel
naah i treid to dirffrent cards lol

again, not really something that should be discussed here in tech discussion, but feel free to DM me or write to support@suno.com and we can check on some details from there 👍
i think i already sent an email months ago ill look for it
here's the payment issue tho so im getting close
@steady kelp I need to mp
and yes when it says again i tried multiple times
Hi. One last time, this channel isn't for payment related issues. Please continue this conversation in a DM with me, or by emailing support@suno.com 👍
I think this should be reported cause I can create unlimited songs with "Cover Song" method.
This opens a door to us to create our own songs without using credits. I could've abused it but it just doesn't seem to right so there is the report.
Cover Song requires credits
But reloads again
I have just created 4 songs with "Timbaland"s songs.
And still have 50 credits
Which is opening a door for users to change; lyrics, style of music and title.
And you can simply abuse this.
Like, I can record it if you want
@steady kelp should I report this to #🪲┃bugs-web channel?
or this is right channel for it
Are you sure this isn't just a case of the server not being synced with the client? Is it still at 50 credits? From what I've observed, when you do a new gen, the Suno client running locally on your computer/phone will deduct the credits but may not immediately sync with the server, so if you do a refresh of the page shortly after the gen (pulling the info from the server), it can still show the old count.
xD
it just adds credits when song is ready
there is also another bug i guess no one know and aware of
you can actually generate 12 songs daily with free account
Covers are a service of privilege, and not a service of expense. The contest is a couple of weeks long. I don't think suno would be out of any expense to open a gate for a month (of which few may know of anyway) for the savvy few free users to use -- if this were truly the case.
The one I referenced has been reported a number of times... but still seems to exist. 😦
i would like to know they reference it
oh wait
i misunderstood xD
Maybe the free membership are peppered with Easter eggs that make the users feel they are gaining more than they paid for. 😉
Nah, when you have 10 credits left
You just tap to "create" button twice
and it generates 4 songs
which in total you get 12 songs in a day
Cool. I'll try on a paid subscription and see if a universal glitch.
Suno should limit their API with 2 song limits than 4
Good luck with using all your credits xD
I don't know how many songs you can create at once with queue
Like free users can generate 4 at once
But if it is 8
You will create a lot more with just 10 credits lol
Yep this is a deffo an urgent bug
But yeah melody is same which is kinda bad
I guess this is not a bug
Melody should generally be the same for a cover song, depending on genre, and your time stamps are all different, so something is changing which supports your theory.
Just be careful when testing that stuff - you can definitely get your account flagged.
then you're consistently pulling from the next drop. and when you get an odd number of credits, you won't be able to use them all
this only works on the last song generation
just saying, attempting to manipulate the system... will catch up to you.
That sounds like a movie quote
Were you using covers? From the old announcement when the feature was released, it seems like all users may initially have 200 free covers #📢┃announcements message
in theory, you could try it at 10 credits left. when they replenish, you'll start with 45 unless you wait another 24 hours to get that extra 5 credits back. if you don't wait the extra 24, you run out of gens with 5 credits remaining
Then it makes sense
Oh yeah, that happened to me and I couldn't generate a song
I even reported it with mail
exactly. so sure, you could potentially generate an extra song one day, but what you're actually doing is taking away from the next
I'll have to read again how song are "entered" into the Timbaland contest. If simply tracing the stem to find all songs, then any testing would also automatically enter you dozens of times already. 😄
it always catches up with you. and yes, enough of those will flag the account and likely lock it from generating at all
Mike, is this true though?
heh. I think they have to be set to public to be counted
To be counted or "entered" you're right there. My mistake.
To get flagged....?
According to the contest rules PDF, just the highest scored (via plays, likes, etc.) per user is considered, not all the generated tracks made public.
Just make sure that the public song is covered/extended from one of the given stems from this page.
Just be aware that the prizes are limited to 18+ USA residents only. For response from the team about this situation, please see #💬┃general-chat message
Of course it's judged on shares, likes and plays (and tiktok) too... so I should start being nice to everyone. Aghhhh! So much work.. 😇
a.
I forgot it was only USA. F
Yes, th3 last contest, I noticed members were changing titles, so I worried they might not get entered. But yea, based on tracing off the stems seems the most logical means.
Oh, there are other methods to increase the weight of your entry rewards you get (e.g. using a specific hashtag in TikTok and Instagram), first time participant in a Suno contest, etc. Those are listed in the contest rules as well, definitely a way to hedge your bet with the generations you love
Yea. I'd spend time on creating maybe three, promote them all and see which catches fire, then promote THAT one extensively.
Include a strategy of see which genre has been most popular, as most are already doing, then create genre covers for those most popular to try to get trending numbers up. Not a new idea. Just putting out there for new members.
If you start with the (Timbaland) stem and then generate a cover over an existing cover, the original stem notation is either lost or no longer displayed correctly to me.
Ahah unbelievable 😂
Did I understand correct? that you have to be a US citizen to participate in the Timbaland contest?
Yeah it’s us only
Yes
Yeah -- keenan made a comment on the matter 👉 #💬┃general-chat message
Ok, thanks for the knowledge. A bit weird that they announce this contest to the whole world without mentioning it, when about 95,85% of the world population are from outside of US.
Well, they did mention it...
In fairness, unless you think to click here and read the fine print for the contest details, or unless you saw Keenan's post, it isn't immediately obvious the contest is just for US citizens.
But what does that even mean? Like, you can't win but you can still keep creating?
Essentially, yeah!
Technically there's a section about how the stems are made available just for the contest, but prize eligibility doesn't impact your ability to play around with the tracks and see what you can come up with.
Heck -- since Timbaland seems to have put a bit more focus on the social media side of things for this contest, I wouldn't be surprised if he's actively involved in this contest (checking out results, monitoring social media trending, etc), and just because your song isn't eligible for the cash prize, he might end up taking notice of your content
Maybe I'm getting too excited over the idea, but even though I don't plan to participate, I see this contest as a BIG deal.
Dude won 4 Grammies and was nominated 21 other times -- the fact that he's not only getting excited about finding uses for Suno in his own production workflow, but actively working with (and arguably helping to create) up-and-coming artists is friggen WILD.
Hello, how do we get rid of the Timberland ads all over the screen, especially on the far right-hand side? It's in the way when trying to create music
I'm not sure what the proper name for it is, but the far-righthand side is the "context panel" that displays information about the song you have selected.
Without a song selected, it used to show info about the latest feature & would provide quick-links to use that feature on some of your more popular songs. Now it's talking about the newest contest.
If you click on any song, it should replace the contest banner with the image, details & lyrics of that song
If something seems broken & the context panel is taking up too much of your screen, perhaps you could share a screenshot or video in #🪲┃bugs-web 🙏
I wonder what the reaction will be from other big musical artists and recording companies of Timbaland working with Suno
That's what I mean!!!
When there's SO much tension in the music industry to the point you could almost hear a pin drop, if not for the roar of bangers, Timbaland pulled the classic movie scene of being the one dude who quietly claps.
This is him standing up and continuing to clap louder.
I'm SO curious who the next artist will be who looks across the room, nods in agreement, and starts clapping loudly, before many others rush to be included in the trend
Likely the usual generic/typical responses towards AI, at least at the moment in regards to the contest.
The bigger reaction would be finding out his strategic advisor role in the company (probably because they wished others could have acted sooner for going for such a position).
Hmm, I wonder if Udio has a similar role filled too from someone in the music industry
Everyone knows who Timbaland is already, he is very famous
Well he has had a number of very famous songs and has been featured with a number of very famous artists. He isn't just a background producer.
As in, he sings with very famous artists. Like Justin Timberlake
The average person knows who Timbaland is
He isnt just a producer.....he sings as well

Justin Timbaland? He's that guy from nsync, right?
My bad, he's the guy that does the outdoor hiking boots
NSYNC? Never heard of them.
(but yes, I have been calling him Justin Timbaland in my head all day 😂 )
He's the one not in 98 degrees. Lol.
Could have been in Menudo at one time or another though.

Chirp is retired, and no longer on discord. You can make music now on our website: https://suno.com
Since Timbaland was brought on as a strategic advisor it's only fitting that he get to have his own song contest. Of course.
I think it is great that he's been brought on to guide the direction of music
Just because they aren't a household name doesn't mean they aren't influential in the industry -- take Max Martin as an example, people might not know him by name, but it doesn't change the impact he's had on pop music.
But Timbaland is a household name. That doesn't mean every house says his name, but most houses do.
While I agree in essence, I hadn't said his name in likely a decade until this contest, but I had knowledge of him as a producer
Flosstradamus on the other hand, I'd only ever heard that name once in my life, and it was already in relation to Suno before the contest was announced 😂
Sure, if someone is only aware of the past decade then maybe they wouldn't be very aware of him. But most people are aware of more than the past decade
I would be legit interested to see the google analytics of how often his stage name gets mentioned before and after the contest
You can check those

Qestion about the “Love Again” Remix Contest. So if i have made a remix (cover) Can i still cover my cover and still be in the contest?
Have I ever mentioned how much I appreciate you?
Oh that was US only. Here is world
Here's a fun one
People searching for Suno before it even existed
hrm -- not as stark of a rise as I thought, though the valleys in search results seem to have gotten a boost.
Probably better to judge it after another week or so
https://youtu.be/v7jiFpX5SU4 -- this accounts for the 2014 spike, a popular song
The 2018-2019 spikes are likely due to "Suno Chanda", https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODl-DYTyNyM -- a YT tv show
Yes, it's everyone else in the world, and not you
Timbaland's songs have billions of views, but no one knows who he is
It's very realistic that the billions of views on Timbaland's songs result in no one knowing who he is
What's the issue here?
huh?
We're talking about if Timbaland is well known, and he is.
If your argument is that people don't think about Timbaland every second of the day, so therefore he isn't well known....well, that's a weird argument
It wan't an opinion that it would, but a wonder if it would
I had expressed interest in seeing an analytics page, but I don't believe anyone is predicting "stonks".
Now I'm curious to search my name. See if I've been forgotten. BRB.
That isn't an opinion that it would "be stonks soon"
So does anyone know when Suno will be coming to Android? It was promised 'soon' when ios came out, but the Play Store is still just full of fake apps
Timbaland was the go to producer between in the years 2000 to 2010. Mostly known for his collaborations with Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado. Apologize (with One Republic) was number one in 2007 for endless weeks in many countries. But I don't know if many people are aware of him. Compared to Pitbull he might be the lesser known.
Why are we comparing him to Pitbull?
Doesn't really seem technically related to discuss how famous Timbaland is.
I'm curious in continuing the conversation about whether covers of covers of his stems count for the contest, but chat about his fame or recognition might be better suited for #💬┃general-chat?
Because they're both famous producers. Different genres but comparable countless collaborations.
Yeah I was going to suggest this if the discussion continued.
Not sure if you're being contrarian, but knowing whether covers of covers are eligible as entries in the contest matters a great deal to some people -- if that's your preferred workflow, it would stink to enter and be told that you're disqualified for not following rules somehow.
I also have my suspicions, but hopefully we can get a clear answer on it soon -- I might reach out to legal@suno.com to confirm
Are we saying there is a limit on how contest songs are made to be eligible?
Limit= restrictions
Thanks for blocking that, Woodhouse.
@polar spade, there's a link to the contest terms & conditions posted at the top of the contest page, there's a section on terms of entry
Oh. I've read it twice. Just asking what were saying so I'll go check against the contract to see what I'm missing, if needed.
Apparently Timbaland will be picking the winners so it's not solely to do with popularity
Generally no different than Floss. So plays, likes, tiktok and judging artist's imput.
He'll probably be presented with a number of tracks picked by the team and decide from those who wins
Stands to reason if it's popular and not by manipulation, then a song must be half decent at least, or very good PR, which in the music world has weight for even a generally bad song.
If I just do a bleep noise for 5 seconds but get 2 million people to listen to it and 100,000 to like it, you can bet I'll at least be considered in the top list.
In principle though, likely they would choose something that sounds like a remix though, and just hire me as another consult. Lol
I think this is Opti's wheelhouse
how long does it take to respond to an email?
Typically a few business days (Eastern USA timing)
afaik, the support team is active through US eastern business hours (<t:1729774800:t> -<t:1729803600:t>, Mon-Fri)
I don't believe they've announced a general response turnaround rate, but while the response times seem to vary based on contact volume, they fall within industry standards from everything I've seen
With the contest, there may be a larger than usual backlog
Would any of this work if I put them at the beginning of the lyrics?
"[Produced by Skrillex and Cashmere Cat]
[Recorded at Shangri-La]
[Dolby Atmos mix, high-fidelity, high-definition audio]
[90s UK Garage]"
The first 2 are the least likely to do anything.
The third is debatable, but I've yet to see an example of it being used reliably -- in fact, I have a prompt experiment playlist in #1256301881966198805 that shows a lot of generations in a row where they do nothing.
The last one would be more effective placed in the Style of Music section, but 1~3 word metatags can be used very effectively to direct a localized sound when they would be reasonably processed as "lyrics"
Even still, it's not going to negatively affect my song, right?
I know for sure that if I wanted an instrumental song, putting those tags in the lyrics would be better than using the instrumental button.
How to see which songs I created in the free version and which in Pro?
The only negative impact it could have is that you'd be potentially overloading the AI so other metatags could be overlooked more easily.
But even then, it's not likely to make things sound "bad", but it might not be what you'd imagined necessarily 🤷♂️
...or it might sing some of the tags
Is there a metatag limit before they stop doing much?
"ask two sunovators, receive three answers" 😉
I would like to believe that those searches came from people from the future, traveling backward from a time where the Suno AI has overtaken the world (with a killer soundtrack) and are attempting to thwart its rise. But I guess the University one is potentially more likely.
In my opinion, less is more -- Suno "vibes" with your requests (even the lyrics are just requests), and the more you try to outright "command" or "code" it, the less it respects everything (potentially worsening hallucinations, such as skipped/repeated verses, Sunoese lyrics -- though these can happen no matter what)
Not to say don't experiment with them or have fun, but when people treat generative AI like a program that accepts a series of hardcoded commands...
Feels like there's 2 camps of Suno artists -- one who accepts Suno's quirks, embrace them & try to create some weird, wacky & sometimes genuinely beautiful stuff ( non-exhaustively, @unique stone & @naive quail come to mind), where the other camp complains about how Suno doesn't listen to their requests.
I'm in both camps. It's all about what I want out of it. I'm just more experimental
For this Timbaland remix contest, I'm messing around and figuring things out as I go. I might be guided by the quirks too much and try to push for them to be recreated once I find and enjoy them without knowing how.
I probably started in the moaning & groaning camp in the early days of MidJourney. I credit their old Dev Livestreams and Q&A sessions (dunno if they do these anymore) with putting me in the other camp.
I think the real eye-opener for me was when, during one of the streams, the devs acknowledged that they themselves were often as perplexed as we were about half the decisions the AI made. That's when I started experimenting... and prompt noise entered my life. 😆
I wish the Suno devs would do Livestreams and Q&A sessions like that ::cough:: @steady kelp ::cough::
Seeing "purported experts" humbling themselves and creating a common ground can do wonders for breaking down self-imposed restrictions.
Is Midjourney what you use for all of your nightmarish creations? 😂
It's been a looooooong time since I've used MJ. Last time I logged in, my entire library was gone... I suspect all of my political renders caught up with me. lol.
I've mostly been using Dalle or whatever ChatGPT uses on the backend - I find the coherency for my style of prompting to be quite good. That and Fal
Yeah, chatgpt is dalle-3
God I love fal -- and Bender
Ugh the AI is vocalizing the style of music now. So frustrating as it ruins the song.
Just in case you ask because of you get something like "A system error occured", It might be they will not respond at all.
Just had that experience and one of the admins (Mike B) explained the reason to me.
If you get that error, first, there are hundreds of things that can cause it. If it is caused by "something" the system declares "suspicious" / "dubious" your account might get a "blocked" flag. And if that happens they cannot send you an email...
Don't ask for the logic behind that, but that is the way it works. And he said they're working on making the error messages more specific.
Almost forgot. He unblocked my account and almost immediately I got a response to my emails...
If it is something different, the message from theharber is probably correct! 🙂
Ye, always a funny thing when SUNO does that... 😉
One time it "added" a wall of text at the end of a song. After the first bit I just skipped and skipped to find out it went on and on; and then just deleted the song. Too bad I have not kept it for fun reasons. But I have some Instrumentals where SUNO thought singing might be OK... 🤨🙄😯😔😢
Not sure if it's what you're experiencing, but I notice that happens more frequently with me when I don't include commas between my tags or style prompts -- 1~3 words seems to be the sweet spot before it trends toward ignoring them or interpreting them as lyrics.
Subjectively, all of my ska dirge songs turned out phenomenally without hallucinations.
@naive quail has “enraged goats on welfare” spoken a couple times, and my style prompts that are spoken are more commonly conversational phrases, so you might be onto something about it being more likely to speak the prompts if it’s not recognized as a genre
I don't know if anyone has already asked. Can I add my voice so that songs are generated with my voice?
You can upload your voice with the "Upload Audio" button.
Everything was going good with the style prompt and it was incorporating the style into the song. The only problem was it was also vocalizing the tag from the start and through the song. Did it for about 10 songs before stopped.
Note that uploading your voice only adds it to your library to be extended from like a regular song — letting Suno base the extensions off your uploaded content, provided you give it enough vocal context, it should be able to continue your sung melody.
It’s not the same as voice cloning so that your voice can be used in future generations.
Suno website is not working
yeah it's been super slow to erroring out for a bit this afternoon
any idea what is causing this when replacing a section of the song.. trying to test it out for the first time
im only replacing 240 characters
why does it have a negative number in there
Thank you for feeding into my delusions 🙏
The style of music “style tags” it was vocalizing was formant-shifting delay and laid-back vibe. This isn’t the first time I have used these.
I just whisper to Suno and the ghost of Chirp in her Shell
and she sings back nice stuff
Suno gets super excited and distracted - so do smaller chunks and hold its hands if you have a complex plan.
you are not going to prompt for 4 different voices and a spoken bridge 'reliably' in a one shot gen.
The other problem (feature?) is that every song generation is 3:46 now. Which is a bit weird.
but if you have 20k credits to burn - go for it....
So something got flagged on your account, they don't know why and that flag made it so you could not generate any songs or even be seen by support?
close the replace and switch the model from V3 back to V3.5 then it should allow for 3000 if you open the replace again. If you are still over you will have to shrink it down somehow
You probably used V3 last time before opening replace
gets free Premier for being a member of the Sunoversity ambassador program
tries a pop punk cover of "Beachwear Shopping Spree"
both covers sound pretty much same
Should I try again?
Did the video quality get significantly worse and the lyrics on the video shrink for everyone?
Hey, I have been increasingly running into an issue where verse three pops in with male vocals. Any idea of how I can avoid this? I used to just put female vocals into the style section and it was getting okay, but I have had several otherwise good generations where it throws in a dude for no good reason.
Kpop, eurodance, synthwave, disco, electro, drum and bass, catchy, romantic, female vocals, '80s song. Listen and make your own with Suno.
Sometimes verse 2, but usually verse 3
It's pretty annoying
Mix the style prompt up a bit, and add more to it. Seems to help sometimes with knocking it off this annoying track of repeating itself.
Building off Furrybeans' suggestion, using the negative prompt field to describe the instrumentals or styles of music that you're trying to avoid can help influence some form of change -- but it's still spitting out a lot of songs that are similar to the original with minor variations.
Guys, i have a problem when i create a track the BPM Increase on all the tracks... Whats wrong?
anyone else notice that the quility of the output has dropped since timerfake joined the team? 👀
Yeah, I am already aware of that. I was pretty much joking.
Oh, I just did over 30 generations and it was all 44 pop music even though all the tags said otherwise so it’s either just another one of those the AI doing whatever the hell it wants or learn to do timberlands pop song / cover so many times that everything is pop music now
4/4
wierd lag again.... just loading a song.. not generating anything.... cloudflare timeout for the last 4-5 minutes now... i open a inconito window and suno works fine in the inconito window.... just my account lagged out?
My last 3 or 4 songs just disappeared.. and I even renamed them to keep
i've found that putting "#" directly in front of the tag - no spaces - works about 90% of the time for not singing style tags. so something like [#saxophone] or even longer sentences like [#a busy city street] (though the latter won't generate anything for me)
mostly I just thumbs down those generations though, in the hopes that future models will take it into account
I keep getting this for the last hour or so
I just got the same Error code. The probably have their server down.
I got that, but it's working again now for me.
its back now for me
Is it just me or are you not able to scroll on the create page?
I always have to delete stuff i make as I can't scroll down the page on desktop
The create page only has one page, the library has all of your songs over multiple pages
thats not the problem though
I can only make like 10 songs before they are out of reach of me to preview them and have to delete stuff to see new generation
scroll wheel and dragging doesnt work
Is anyone able to help me prompt a guitar solo ending into my song? Everything ive tried has been a bust
I mean considering how many people trying to do some odd thing with mr timbos music i imagine its like the last contest
yah know
Have you tried extending with v3 model (not 3.5)?
Also, I'm having trouble using the Replace Section functionality. The output still sings the same original words, but looking at the generated output it shows the new lyrics.
or mebe what gauge is this besides popular time vote situation which is fine should be clear about that
but pretending a potato tastes great and is also like an orange is a weird concept no?
same as this
thing is i dont know how to fairly judge a contest based on purely prompt tech lolol
so its probably just pop time bebe
I was in the middle of making 🔥
Let me try that
Yeah, still no luck
Hello, today i try download video, but lyric problem with Vietnamese, please check again
here should be also a ticket tool for a contact 😉
Hi, i am month subscription, just now while i am using halfway, suddenly my credit turn from thousand plus to zero...
then i check my account status, it's show i have no subscription at all...
bugs?
Hey, I generated the music but find it too short. Wanted to extend it but I didnt know how, and it keeps giving me a 4 second track without any sound. How do I fix this?
Download song video with lyrics error for Cover Song
I am not able to publish my song for some reason. It does not say any error due to uploaded vocals. There were no uploaded vocals. Everytime I tick publish it says "Clip is now public", but when I go to my page its not there. Refresh my library and the toggle for public is greyed out again.
Whats up with that?
I am not able to publish my song in suno-showcase
I can't make public any song now on suno
I made a fresh generation, hit public, refeshed page and its still not public
what do you know?
its a UI bug
Ah yea i just checked and I can set stuff public and it just shows it as public
And it appears on profile so it seems to actually be public
It showed me for a second that the song had detected uploaded vocals, but now that error refuses to show up over the public toggle. I cannot deduce which uploaded samples are detected for vocals on Suno now. Looks like a UI bug. Heads up if you're using samples– the system might not give you the warning, and you could waste credits like I did.
I’ve already reached out to support about this and hope they can resolve it. If anyone else is experiencing this, it might be worth contacting support as well.
has anyone had issues with creating duets? No matter what i try (copying the structure of other duets on suno) it refuses to follow properly. It starts off fine, female, then male, then sometimes both (mainly female). then goes completely awry with the female doing all parts, or the male etc
Is there an option to generate a completed song in another language while keeping the same style and meaning? Basically, just the language of the lyrics would change, but everything else would stay the same. I tried using the Cover option by replacing the lyrics, but it either mixed the two languages or sounded completely different.
hmm not sure. Thats the way i would try it.
.> Isn’t that the whole point of a Cover? To have the original music with different lyrics?
Can I choose the vocals? most of the time my credits are wasted because of the choice of vocals I feel I have little control of. I put raspy crazy vocals, but I end up getting some smooth generic vocals instead
thats the gamble. I have gone through 50+ iterations. I would try googling the voice style you are after. EG frank sinatra is 'crooner'
not much luck, I put bass-baritone souful, still gives me some tenor voice rapper
🥴
i had this problem also. Let me see if i managed to get around it
I put crooner as an experiment, it doesnt change to a Sinatra style until I only include crooner. Crooner will be regarded as the whole big band jazz style.
I cant put a crooner to sing with my funky band, lol
Not as a hard & fast “command” — you can give suggestions like any other style prompt, but the largest impacting factor on the style of the output is everything you use as input.
There might be a chance that some of the style prompts or metatags or lyrics are strongly influencing the vocal style.
I noticed after experimenting with this for a month yeah, that is the whole lack of control in the system we got
ive generally been lucky. I am struggling with the duet thing. I need one more song for an entire album and i want to have an "islands in the stream" style duet and it stuffs up everytime by the halfway mark
tonight ive gone through 250 credits
Whatever you’re doing, keep it up!
https://www.suno.wiki/faq/style-and-lyrics/duets/
Duets are notoriously hard to pin down with consistency atm, so you might be onto something with your prompting arrangements if you’ve been finding early successes.
I noticed that some songs I can get a bigger spectrum of voice styles, but the one I am working right now, for some reason is more solid on on a more limited range of vocal.
LOL i tried the raspy and it gave me this. https://suno.com/song/d0b0391f-70ad-44a8-92ba-9cd8bbeddda7
soooooo wrong
OH I got iT!!!! the prompt in the lyrics [Raspy voice-Verse 1]
Now work out duets. 😂
70s groovy funk song. Listen and make your own with Suno.
I will!!
dude. this is damn funky
this is the raspiest i could get a while ago https://suno.com/song/f3fd1a1c-d990-4f49-8929-db7be90a95a7
raspy male voice bluesy mellow jazz song. Listen and make your own with Suno.
Suno does funk really well. https://suno.com/song/5147d8bc-6f52-4cc3-aa27-b651b374b234
bass-driven classic funk disco song. Listen and make your own with Suno.
Running into an odd issue, can't cover a song as it directs me to subscribe, although I've already got a subscription
only seems to be localized to that song I believe
thats weird. is the song public or one of your own songs?
one of my own which is even weirder haha, not public as I've been going back to it every now and then covering it

oh thats odd. my two up there arent ticked as public. will it let you cover them?
As in the option is greyed out, you receive an error message, or it just hangs without response?
options greyed out with a question mark and redirects me to the subscription page when I click on it
try a different browser?
will give it a shot actually, recently switched to zen
same issue with chrome as well
Provided that you're not being prompted to update your payment info on the https://www.suno.com/account, Damienb is on the right track -- Zen isn't chromium-based, so it could be a good comparison to see if you get the same error on a chromium-based browser, like edge or chrome
i use firefox generally (*ducks). But when i have issues i swap to Edge because its awful
payment info seems good too, recently refreshed on the 17th I think it was
the grief I had with firefox was insane haha
Is this happening with every song, or just specific tracks?
Firefox is becoming worse i have noticed. I am trying to migrate over to Chrome or Brave
specific track I noticed, can cover my recent stuff
track was made during my subscription cycle too
what version? 3 or 3.5
That's a weird one -- wouldn't imagine that the track being made on a paid plan would impact it -- might be something to email support@suno.com for?
although weirdly enough it doesn't show up in my library when I search it by name, only way I found it was through a song I covered off of it
3.5
most likely will need to, usually I'd be fine genning a new one but it has the exact flow I'm after haha
works the best for the way I structured it
im curious, when i report a song as a bug, does it get reviewed by a human? because i wish to apologise to whoevver as itll be 45 duet fails. LOL
afaik, it suggests to the AI that there's something undesirable about that song, so when they make future models the AI knows what songs/pattern recognitions were undesirable
oh thats good then
Not that you indicated having thought that, but a friendly reminder to all that downvoting & reporting bugs doesn't impact Suno's output in the short term, but it's a super impactful way to help improve Suno in the long run 🙂
how is this new video change any better than the old one? it's such a massive downgrade. (old = left, right = new)
I'm not a massive fan either to be honest, I don't think it looks bad but I'm not a fan of the condensed look at all
Anyone know a fix for songs stopping very abbruptly? I have a lot of songs generated where they slow down and then almost pause, then ramp right back up into the melody about 20 seconds before the end, then just cut completely
makes reading the lyrics and such difficult in my opinion
Besides for cropping
I would extend the song from where it slows down P
hoihoi tech-disc folk, anyone here what a violin screeching sound is called? the one where they start low and go to a pitch high enough to shatter glass?
I've tried both glissando and sul ponticello but it doesn't seem like either of them are correct
unless I'm a dumdum and not prompting correctly
Not always a matter of not prompting correctly, as not everything seems to be directly "commandable".
https://youtu.be/foSJstDFDfg?t=25 Any chance you're referring to this "sting effect" from a waterphone?
I’m really, really excited by this new official Richard Waters’ waterphone made by Brooks Hubbert. Brooks is an amazing musician and instrument builder who knew and worked with Richard. This new bass waterphone is so very resonant, responsive and expressive! It is a dream to play. For a longer audio demonstration go to:

It sounds pretty similar to what I have in mind except for the lingering sound. Thanks a billion for the quick response
Hi there. Here, a new user of Suno. I'm trying to use Suno tu replace spotify because of a bug in Spotify, but I found another bug (I think so) in Suno. Is it possible to make the sound of a random river (or something like that), without liric, and without instrumental? I mean. I love a song that has been made with Suno to Sleep with piano, but it is not the same sound the sound of a river (or a sea, white noise) and a song played with instrumentals... I think it is not trained to do something like that, but I would like to be sure. Can anyone answer me?
While it's not impossible, seeing as users have managed to coax thunderstorm noises before, Suno is trained primarily to make music -- I haven't seen much success with prompting solely for sound effects.
If you're looking solely for white noise like rivers, ocean waves, rain, etc, it might be easier to find a service with those pre-made? There's a lot of phenomenal apps these days (lots of amazing free services & apps doing this, it's just that the ones who charge a fortune for something so simple make enough to advertise like crazy
Small but appreciated QoL upgrade in iOS 18 -- they added a white noise function that can be toggled in the control center -- chef's kiss👌
And do you know an example for Android? Thanks for answer
I just say "Hey google, play nature sounds"
omg -- I used to love asking for random animal noises, but I'm a simple man.
"google, what does a saxophone sound like" and never knowing what kind of sax solo they had lined up for me (yes -- saxophones are my favourite animal)
there are several different ones that it'll choose from when you're not specific. It'll endlessly loop whichever one it picks.
I have had some decent success with Duets not so much Overlapping vocals, but I got it down to changing Vocals mid lyric a couple times. Kept the song too. Not sure if that is what was being asked.
Hello, suno's website is down or overloaded ? I c'ant load page
I have a question though, when I was covering Timbaland's song, I got some Spoken language that sounds either German, Russian, or maybe Ukrainian. Something like that. Do you think that is a Suno error or a hidden lyric in the song?
same here
That happens to me quite often.
The site seems to get overloaded
And since Timbaland's announcement it just boomed and does it way more often
I have had success using other devices some times
That is the language stem and cut from the beginning of the song
thx guys, I check services in few hours.
Suno hallucinates sometimes (has gibberish that sounds like an actual language, but isn't)
Ah, I figured because it talked about a school assignment in Russian
To be honest, sometimes its sooo creepy
That's now going on a few days.. can't open the page or it loads for ever.. and this is new
yeah, one time i got a super creepy laugh
Halloween history biology very very very application 6th grade, page 74 exercise 154
In German it was something like, people are cool aren't they
also there was this time someone got a song where the hallucination sounded like it was threatening to kill them. 👀
It was so specific is what made it nuts
i got the same thing
same the whole site is kind of broken for me atm
Yes I had many many hallucinations, more at certain times than other
so the whole website is so slow and it seems my credits disappeared left with 40 😄 name changed too
Ты казав ей шутку про немовлят чи шо?)
It's up for me
I dont know what that says
I though u will get some Ukranian vibes 🥺
Question le site serra de nouveau opérationnel aujourd'hui ou non ? Me manque 2 chanson a produire pour le push pour qu'il arrive a temps sur Spotify en temps et en heure .
Suno Is Currently down due to Heavy Traffic from The App and Website
seems legit from what message i got
Last time the site went crazy for me my notifications all reset and then flooded in like I was the most popular person on the site. It was all my old notifications came in saying it was done seconds ago...haha
The site gets overloaded quite often for me. At least a few times daily
Even robots need a break sometimes
Yess robots burnout time haha 🤣
If you look in Showcase, you can see it is down or real sluggish, the embeds aren't working
Due to heavy usage, generations are temporarily disabled.
No one can generate
Due to heavy usage...
Ok!
Well, I'm going to go watch a series while waiting for the union strike to end ^^🤬
Since the amount of people here seems to have increased, anyone have any tricks on how to ensure that previously used instruments doesn't reappear later in parts that aren't supposed to have 'em?
the only way I can think of would be "terminator extensions" that would essentially completely wipe the memory of the song from all points before the extension
In that case, I believe I have a cursed generation, as it refuses to forget it 😦 I'll give it a few more 1 sec extensions to see if that can help do the trick
When the site gets heavy traffic hallucinations, especially on Covers seem to happen way more often, I got 5 hallucinations to 1 decent outcome one time. I am still using free covers so it wasn't a big deal but it would have been nice to know that it gets lazier as it gets hammered by users.
imo, covers are wildly unpredictable in general in beta
Very true
Almost every time, I get one that does nothing and maybe something in the second one, only if I use a very basic style prompt
What? Now that is interesting. Since Timbaland's song says that I wonder if it is a bug due to that
Oh dear!!! I try, and i get ... something^^ But what is it:
https://suno.com/song/cd6b2474-a297-4c09-b318-530edd3f3a4a
urban rap, celtic fusion, edm, electro, french style, ballad song. Listen and make your own with Suno.
I have found the <SONG_DETAILS> and variations of to have definite effects but it tends to make my lyrics loop almost every time.
I just pick out a few like production, I have not found structure to be useful. Do you find more consistent results with yours?
Have fun.
[Removed links]
Absolutely nothing concrete in this thing, if not funny at best!
But I didn't calculate anything, it was not at all the expected result!
Nah, I get more use from putting the majority in style and then some specific tags at the top for clarity. Rarely do I get anything from all the advanced stuff. Including the long descriptions in your tags throughout. I have not had actual success with that ever. Maybe accidental.
I have had different levels of success mid song if I want to Break or something, I'll make it stand out more like [Break] which works most of the time, but sometimes it will make a breaking sound since ... is used for sound effects a lot.
That reply had asterisks around the Break tag. I forgot about discord mark
There, I admit that the thing that came out is totally crazy, I had the banner that lit up, barely pressed the create button, I suppose it's an accident, this kind of strange song generation happened to me only once^^
Saxophones;
so graceful...
so demure...
https://suno.com/song/6df936d8-4fc6-41a0-8a4f-b144d84f5bc0 - you were talking about Duets earlier. This is one that isn't the best song but I did get it to switch vocals quite a bit
Emotional ballad, soft piano, acoustic guitar, strings, layered male vocals, female vocals, gentle build, duet finale. song. Listen and make your own with Suno.
Forgot embed doesn't do in here
It was a chatgpt script, forgive me. I just was inspired by the concept and ran with it. Wild Saxophones...
Someone who knows what they're doing could probably make a whole thing with it.
nice! I have a few intentional duets, but most of mine are happy accidents, like: https://suno.com/song/9ea36d55-6022-4994-a9de-b22189beb9e4
Operetta, Show Tunes, Playful, Female, Virtuosic Solo, Light Traffic, Guitar Harmonies, ‑Kevin, ‑Dave song. Listen and make your own with Suno.
I think nothing less of you for having using ChatGPT 🙏
I really enjoyed it by the way, I laughed out loud a couple times -- thanks for sharing 🙂
For your intentional duets, do you feel like it's "luck o' the draw", or is there anything you can advise on how to go about it?
(asking you point blank because I used to refer to your fallout series whenever mentioning user-examples of duets)
Oh I found a pretty reliable way, the only issue is for whatever reason sometimes it decides to swap Female and male regardless of tags.
Besides that. I walk it on. The style needs to have Duet in it in my experience: female vocals, male vocals, duet
The lyrics I will start a verse with [Female Vocals] and at the last line of that verse I will use (....) and it will almost always be sung by the other, then I flip it for the next verse and use {...} at the end kind of assigning the singer to the symbols
It's mostly credits. It does seem like the lyrics have some effect, too. Like that first Fallout song was another happy accident. I was wondering if things like "Us" and "We", etc (like "We're the Atomic Duo" in the lyrics were having any influence, so I did the next two with that in mind... and they both came out as duets, too.
It does seem to help to start with female vocals. Some have suggested not including male or female in the Style field. Pretty sure that all of mine had Female in the field, tho.
Then it accomplihsed my goal. Thanks for the inspiration.
Then in the [Chorus] [Duet]
(.....),{....}
[Both]
.........
Having Broadway or some type of style that normally will have duets and Overlapping vocals tends to help a ton
Also just doing (....), ..... works many times after you have taught it that you mean to use that vocal with that symbol. (...) works more often than {...}
https://suno.com/song/cd06be35-6e92-48af-a341-b3df70408da8 this is an example of exactly what I mean by the vocals swapping for no reason, but other than that the queues tend to work, also this is a very early song, I found Duet to be a much better tag than [Male & Female Vocals] like this song has in it. It does use the "walk it to the duet" method I was talking about. This song is not public so it has the original Instructed lyrics.
Broadway Duet, Layered vocals, emotional build, dynamic shifts, overlapped harmonies, acoustic guitar, climactic, upbeat song. Listen and make your own with Suno.
Is the app not loading for anyone else?
Yup. Very heavy load on the site right now. It's off and on
[Virtuoso Guitar] you can use pretty much anything from guitar lead, riff, piano, banjo, instrumental, etc.
I spent an hour trying to solve this problem.

@shadow timber others in here might know more?
Otherwise, I'd try to report it as detailed as possible i neither of the bug channels.
What the Heck is going on with credits. I watched credits slowly dwindle from 7000 down to now 0 over the past 30 minutes About 25 credits every 5 seconds.
First checking if everyone seems to have their credits? Then I'll check with support or other forums.
still have mine, tho I haven't been running gens.
Same, I still have mine, but not generating, but I noted where mine are at to be sure.
I've run about 3 pages. That's probably about 1500. I'm not touching my screen, but was listening to a gen and kept glancing at credits. Noticing it went from 7000 to 3000. So I stopped and just watched it.
weirdness!
Very strange. As if it were paying for other clicking. It wasn't perfectly timed but every 1-3 seconds it would drop about 25 credits.
I'm premium, so that's was awhile. I have 0 credits now and can't create anything... to mean that it didn't go negative.
I have noticed that credit deduction has been a bit laggy sometimes in the past few days, but I'm talking like 10 or 20 credits taking a minute or so... not 4000 freakin credits just washing away
We can't upload a video can we?
used to be able to here. Not sure if it's still allowed. You can definitely upload to the bug channels
Sounds like the same thing that happened with my notifications, disappearing and then all coming back at one time saying they just happened. Except of course mine wasn't worth bring to support. Yours hits the pocket...gotta check on that.
We can upload videos here
I watched th3 video... yea... an even 25 credits each drop.
Ok. Hold on I try.
Or should I just go directly to bugs?
Thought it would be pertinent to all.
that one happened to all of us a couple days ago
I'd go to bugs
Ahh
is there something I'm doing wrong when attempting to do an extension and I get the credit's returned? Is this user error or a technical issue. I'm sure there is documentation, but I'm too lazy to search.
crazy!
Yea man, that is nuts
Are you extending from silence at the end of a track? If so, move back a couple seconds when the music is still going strong
It's not a hack. It's 25 credits a blip.
Ok. Going to bugs. Thanks goodness I won that 1.3 billion lottery.
That's mad
Wonder if it's some frontend code having a derp
Yea, just buy Suno...lol
I'm coming from 15 seconds from the end where there is an instrumental ending and I'm trying to extend out another minute or so. It did work and I went back to modify and then the errors popped up.
We DID go down 40 minutes ago. Then boom.. my credits kept jumping off the cliff. Maybe a connection issue. Ok. Thanks. Keep an eye on your own. Just in case.
please #🪲┃bugs-web message
someone else is reporting the same thing, tho it looks like 10 cred drops in their video
If you refresh do the credits come back?
During all the heavy load times it seems as if the site itself suffers from strange bugs. Hopefully it is just a front end thing. It will adjust itself back when it hits the database again.
I guess I need to take a break while SUNO gets worked out. Friday Tech issues. I know nothing about that. 😉
I imagine after this Timbaland team up, the hardware/cloud computing will have a major upgrade.
Getting endorsed by Timbaland is impressive.
Yeah someone mentioned this a few messages up. Does it stop if you refresh?
no
it keeps going down if i refresh it goes back to my real total then
does it again
😂
Well at least that means it is front end only
yea scared the heck outta me
Yes. It's reset back to 6625 credits.
for a second 😂
Yeah it's not like they'd start charging just to have the page open 😆
adobe executives just activated upon you posting this idea
They... emmm... they charged me.... ummmm..... 400 credits to reset it... yea.. that's it... they charged me... I swear... (tee hee)
and again, for some reason, they'll only implement it in Australia to begin with
I had that Twilight Zone imploding feeling that when it reached 0 I would keel over on the floor.
EXACTLY! Adobe's business model is right at insane. I got so angry when they went subscription.
I have used them as an example in numerous cases in college.
Suno credits were my Dorian Gray of my lifeline.
I got your reference, BTW. Movie version only though. Love the movie.
Is there any way to remove some vocals with "Replace Selection"?
Have you tried replacing the lyrics with [Instrumental] tags
That would be the in-suno method for removing vocals from a specific section, but there's no guarantee that the section that it replaces it with will sound the exact same without vocals.
The most direct (thus arguably the "easiest") method would be to strip the song into stems using an external tool and remove the vocal track during those sections. If you're a paid subscriber, you could upload up to 2m of content back into Suno to extend from so your song can "live on suno.com" instead of just externally.
That too. I use FL Studio to do things like that, just cut in the Instrumental part where you want.
thank god im not the only one with the credits problem
I think maybe BandLab can as well, but I don't know where the pay wall is.
oh my god -- I love bandlab -- no paywall, just amazing extra features on the subscription, but a literal unicorn-tier free level
#📚┃suno-school message 👈 some of my bandlab favs ❤️🔥
Nope, but it seems to be front-end only so refresh and as long as they keep coming back your good until it gets fixed
Yeah, tried it. Not working. Takes lyrics from all over the place instead.
Done this. Quality is really bad. Even when uploading and making instrumnetal. All the bad quality with ghosting, echos and so will carry over.
Right, the only thing I don't care for is it has a very Windows way of hiding its stuff...lol. Like where are the tools? Oh that symbol up there for no reason. At least on Android
True, but there are tools out there that split it better than Suno
Even some open source ones
Double edged sword -- I'm always blown away by how much they've fit into their app, but the downside is there's a lot of potential confusion in terms of navigation. Admittedly I'm more familiar with their desktop platform, so I'm not too well-versed on the annoyances of using it for a full production workflow.
UVR is great for doing stem splits.
Is that the one I am thinking of, looks like it uses gradio
No idea what it's made in... it runs locally, has a bunch of different models and options
I'd been using vovalremover.org for a while and then someone recommended this and I haven't looked back since

Say goodbye to the music industry as you know it and hello to AI SONG COVERS, the future of music covers! Hi, is anybody else besides me experiencing the credits on the website counting down every 5 secs?
Suddenly I went down to 0 and no more creations possible ... wth
Yes, realized that
Sorry, the question has been asked a lot so you got a copy paste style answer
It runined a song I was working on so there's that
Is it normal that my credits decrease almost every second? Is this a display bug? I am the only one?
display bug
That's all right; there were so many messages so that I found it easier to just ask even though I could foresee that it's not only me 🙂
I think I used all the "good" ones. What are you suggesting being a good splitter?
Already used FL Studio, Lalala, Audimee, Bandlab, vocalremover.org etc. You name it, I've done it.
Honestly I have never seen Vocals removed completely from lyrics. They get close but ghosts remain. I would just extend the song from that spot with the way you want it.
FL Studio I use to cut and splice and remaster or compose, it has some plug-ins but none that worked. That RVC uses AI so it has a chance, but you have to clone a git repo to do it. Not sure if you are that committed to a maybe

Use dev tools and freeze it...lol.
Like a Helter Skelter slide at a carnival -- one more time!
Should be able to create a AI that analyses whole song and not only remove the vocals, but also patch based on the song as a whole.
Don't quote me, but I think there are some out there, but it will probably be subscription. Honestly Suno does quite well considering it is just a small piece and not a dedicated tool. At least you can get clean vocals and then put them on an instrumental.
wait the suno ai ios app isnt available in canada?
#📢┃announcements message international early-access release soon
Don't mind subscription when it deliver.
😢
PROBLEM: My credits keep disappearing and then reappearing. I get messages that I'm out of credits. I click on credits and they show. Once I do that they all come back and I can generate for awhile. It's happened 2x to me in the last hour.
It's happening to a lot of people. It's a visual bug
It's not just visual. It stops me from generating.
same problem here
The devs are aware of the issue, it doesn't impact your true balance of credits.
Please be patient as they work to resolve the issue 🙏
great. thanks. Just wanted to make sure it's on radar.
Hey, I'm currently on the site and my credit's are decreasing by 5, every 5 seconds without me doing anything. However, if I open a new tab they go back to my current amount but also start to decrease after a few seconds.
Cheers, sorry. Should have done a quick search.
Hello. Using Suno for a few months and today's update about terms and conditions for Lyrics are insane. Tried to generate/create song with word "to you" or "тобі" in ukrainian and AI-moderator "thinks" that I'm using artist name "tobi"? It's extremely frustrating right now.
And what I can do with it?
Not a worry -- I can understand why that would be so concerning!
This new video generation method is a great failure!!!!! Bring back the old one!!!
hmmm all my recent 3.5 generations (extend) are 2:00 exactly...
that's the max length of a v3.5 extension: 2 minutes
