Hey! Creating Stems has stopped working for me. It creates two separate Songs, one for Vocals and one for Instrumental. All that happens is that the one called Vocals is the exact same as the original track, with vocals and instrumental combined and the Instrumental Track is just lower in volume.

Extensions remain ridiculously short. Often 30 seconds or less. Even when moving the time to extend from back. This is super frustrating and is costing me a ton of credits. New generations are often well under 2 minutes long as well.
Examples of last couple of generations: 1:16 , 1:14 , 1:48, 1:19, 2:34. Is this normal? Do other users have the same?

trying to extend a song, on the uploaded part I put the lyrics of only the uploaded part, and when I extend I put the rest, and the AI starts with the lyrics of the beginning instead of starting from the point I want it to start from

found a workaround, there was a sentence which started the same for every verse, I simply changed the lyrics of the uploaded part so the AI realizes the new verse isn't the same, and now It correctly started when I want to.

Has anyone had trouble with audio recently? I tried listening to my last creations and it looked like it was playing, but I couldn't hear any audio. This might be just me, but my recent music generations suck... like really bad. Suno ignores my entire prompt, and makes something that is completely unrelated to what typed (v.3.5 and v.3). I thought this was a personal issue, until I started getting sub 40 second generations on v.3.5. Most of these songs were finished 10 seconds after creation with terrible song structure. Does anyone have the same problem?

this is an issue cause you guys have 0% web security, and over 100 users have backtracked my page by getting the source info, then they download videos of my partial tracks by extending them and they use that read to my prompts

A few minutes ago, Suno made me sign off on the terms of the Timbaland contest when I was not using his upload to extend.

I have tried this multiple times and once I sign off (because it won’t let me move forward if I don’t) I get an error when I try to extend.I want to use my own upload and I cannot. Has this happened to anyone else?

I am using the browser version on iOS.

Edit: I just reset everything and tried it again. as soon as I press the extend button on my own upload, the only way to move forward is signing off on the how to enter contest pop-up. In essence I cannot work on my own songs.

It's not possible to remove (trash) extensions you made from other user's base song.
The option isn't there

Extending from someone else's song and then doing the usual Suno stuff (Replace Section, Cover, Extend) doesn't take into effect the previous song data.
Example shows the first part of the song without song metadata or author other than the lyrics which I added manually in a previous step.
This also causes certain functions like Video Regeneration to time out.

It seems that only removing the lyrics altogether solves the issue.

The Replace Section feature seems to never get you what you want. When I tell it to replace words with an instrumental, it keeps the words; when I tell it to replace words, it adds an instrumental. Maybe only after several dozens of attempts it succeeds.

Okay Suno what did you do? On an iPad your interface tweak is non functional. There’s not room to see the song info on create and it’s now locked in place whereas you used to be able to slide it sideways and see it. I can only work with my iPad turned sideways now.

Covers are in beta. Sometimes you get the original song back (quite annoying), other times you may get a completely different song (also annoying). At the moment if you use the thumbs-down to indicate that it's not a good cover, and thumbs-up to indicate that it is a good cover, this gives feedback to the developers so they can tweak it.

Misinterpreting a technical glitch as a security issue can stir up anxiety and disrupt community focus. Refreshing the page or even logging out and back in might resolve this, as such cosmetic bugs often auto-correct.

Credit counter bug seems to be related to the web requests being made to check the progress of ongoing generations.
I had no pending generations, and the credit count was stable.
I then generated 1 cover song, and my credit count was decreasing by 10 every few seconds.
In the developer console Network tab of my browser, there is a request being made at the same time as the credit counter decreases.
When one of the generations finished, the counter only went down by 5.
Once both generations had finished, the credit counter stopped going down.

No, the problem still presists. When doing a cover, first the cover counter goes down and after reaching Zero, the credit counter goes down. This happens, until the files have been finshed (showing a playtime). Also the quality of covers has gone from crazy shit to WTF! Currently i need to be happy if the covers do sound somewhat like the input file.

The only problem i still have, is the covering. It uses the Style i set (e.g. i covered a song by choosing "Big Band"). But the song structure (melody etc.) is absolutely ignored. And i really mean absolutely. It is like i never selected a song to cover but just started from scratch and let suno randomly choose some melody.

@low cypress Cool idea, i give it a try. But i can confirm, what gametoday wrote. The song i tried to cover was a song i covered yesterday 39 times with many different music styles. EVERY! Cover was a hit (in terms of catched the original melody and transformed it to the new style). But now 0% coverage with the original melody. the only thing it took was the "genre".

@low cypress I can absolutely understand your side. But i'm not convinced that I was just luck. See, the song i have uploaded is a simple, melodic one. And when i did my tries yesterday, every cover was catching up the whole spirit of the song. I just thought, suno did some modification, because it went so well 🙂 And the prompts are super easy. I just selected the song to cover and chose 1 Stile.. E.g. "Techno" or "Big Band" or "Rock Opera". And even if i did not like many of the created songs, at least i could recognize the original uploaded song. Now when i did my testings in the last 2 hours, the songs that have been covered (i just did with the allready uploaded ones), it did not have anything to do with the original. Not even a bit. I mean, at least in your video you are facing the "it took the whole song wihtout changing anything". And this problem i had also in the past (hence i will give a try to your idea). But then it took at least the very same song. But what i am currently facing is, that it take ZERO from the original. And yeah, i know it is beta. But even if it is beta, there should be a place where we can post what we experience.

Okay, let me try to explain, what i mean through examples. Here are three versions i made yesterday. I just choosed the original song, selcted the cover and then only added the style. Nothing else. And all of these worked (you can hear out the "Theme"). And these are only 3 of the many others.

And at least it gave me the two songs with the melody from the original. So i then selected the best one of these two songs and "covered" it to "Big Band" with a negative [a capella]. The results are not very Big Band like and still contain the a capella elemnts but were funny as hell 😉 Nobody can say, i just complain and do not try suggestions 🙂 so thank you for that hint 3daizy.

When I convert my "Love Again" versions to video, some of them say Timbaland Love Again Remix, and others do not.

Which implies to me that not all of them are being registered as linked to the contest.

Separately... It feels like there should be some way to actively be discovered w.r.t the "Love Again" contest (provided that your songs were actually good) ... Depending on people to like the songs organically - and with some help from the showcase channel - sounds incredibly luck based.

There seems to be a problem with the payment / subscription system. If, as sometimes happens, the credit card charged fails the UI doesn't offer me any options to attempt the charge again. Thus:

1. Payment fails.
2. Money goes into account.
3. No option on Suno to recharge the same card (it acts like it's no longer usable at all).

My options become:

1. Cancel the subscription. This locks all my credits and I cannot generate anything at all - even with bonus credits.
2. Renew the subscription.

Or

1. Go to payment history, click the failed transaction, use Swipe page to retry transaction.

Maybe a 'retry payment' button in clear view of the 'payment failed' warning would clear this up.

When extending a song your character limit can lower by.. some amount. The first time this happened I had a character limit of around 50, which meant I couldn't type enough in the "replace lyrics" section to cover the lyrics in the 10 second minimum time frame.

Have you been creating around the time the credits refresh? Happened to me the last time they changed the time. Depending on where you live, of course. Here the credits refreshed at 5 am, then 2 am, since we had savings time it's now 1 am. If you create in the refresh period you "lose" the new credits and not the old ones. A 5 often comes out when an error occurs during creating. Kiss it good-bye until the credits refresh, as you can only create with the full 10. 🙂

So, Replace Section will generally adhere to the original melody if the section is on either side of the 2:00 mark in a song.

If the section you try to replace straddles that however, you're going to have a terrible time. You'll be flooded with run-on generations and pretty much never going to get what you're looking for. Problem is, I also notice that tends to be where a [Bridge] section goes. Is there anything you could do to help make those sections as replaceable as any other?

I have the same issue at the moment. It keeps throwing in lyrics from something i was experimenting with before. The lyrics are not even in the prompt and even the language should have been different (first few songs were in dutch, then tried something else in english but it keeps throwing in the dutch lyrics randomly throughout the tracks)

That may not be a coincidence - mine was originally in English with the new song in Japanese. Kept repeating English lyrics from the persona song that were not in the lyrics of the generated song. I wonder if it hates changing languages

I used the persona, but it sing the same lyrics as the original lyrics from the persona although i input a different lyrics. And some song still have the same Suno Promo Intro.

It seems that if you create a song with the persona and then extend it to get the full song, it won’t be assigned to that persona. I had to extend one to add the ending, but it didn’t show up under the persona "album", while the version without the extension does appear.

There seems to be a new feature which makes the most recently used playlist be at the top when you add a song. The only problem is it loads slowly so you look for your playlist, put your finger on it, and BAM the whole list flips around and tells you you just added your song to the wrong playlist. Greetings @wooden pelican team : firstly, let me extend huge thank you for the new Persona feature. Right on time ! I'm working on a song with a vocal, and I never tried before, not in SUNO, not IRL. But I see a certain bug.

I've made a persona from a piece. I am trying out the new feature. When I select "Create with this persona", my style box is pre-filled with the style of the original source of the persona, and the Lyrics box is empty. I attempted to leave the style not touched, and also tried to remove ", female vocal" from the end, as, in my mind, the vocal is fixed (that was a happy incident, the vocal matching the song perfectly). Secondly, I fill the Lyrics with similar lyrics but not the same. The original had 2 verses, the new one has three. The pattern is the same: [verse], six lines, [chorus][instrumental]. I'm polishing the lyrics, but the changes are substantial : the number of syllables and the rhimes are closing on the final song.

The issue is, SUNO generates two instances of the new song, the voice match perfectly (thank you, thank you, thank you!), but, unfortunately, she sings the same lyrics that were in the piece which I created the persona from, and ignores the new lyrics completely, with or without the removing of the ", female vocal" from the style. Only one of 6 attempts yielded the new lyrics. Another attempt, she sang the old lyrics starting from a random point in the first verse.

I may send any URLs that you direct me to a non-public e-mail or otherwise. Thank you. The song is dedicated to a friend here on SUNO, and I must not release the incomplete pieces publicly, he'll only see a complete work.

Although, I admit that I don't care a lot about that song. It's just part of an experiment in trying to get Personas to work... Getting a past voice is tough.

Suno should maybe tag its own generations in some way so that you can at least re-upload parts of your own generations (or maybe just allow you to note which of your songs that was taken from)

I pretty much feel the same way, but Suno's gonna Suno. If it links back to an upload with detected vocals it'll get locked down, even if none of those recorded vocals make it to the final track.

Hey team, something seems completely broken. First, songs are being generated with watermarks, which shouldn’t happen. Then, instead of the usual 4 minutes (or less if the text is shorter), the songs are only about 1 or 1.5 minutes and just cut off mid-lyrics. On top of that, the credit counter is acting strangely. After a generation, 10 credits are deducted, but when I check the credits tab, it shows they weren't actually used. Hello, the issue i reported yesterday seems to persist today. (It keeps adding lyrics from older prompts and just throws them in randomly) Thus effectively making the new future a thing to avoid instead of try out and test. You uploaded an audio clip you said? You might want to add the bpm to the audio file, and maybe consider lowering the volume of all instruments around that vocal so maybe suno can differentiate stuff better. It's just a theory but might be worth trying

I am unaware if suno actually is capable of reading the bpm of uploaded audio, but if it is an incorrect number might increase the chance this happens to your results maybe

Please not be angry at bugs. Bugs are inanimate things. Don't drop the alive and conscious wonder of Nature, which is you, down to this level. No one makes the bugs intentionally. Think of it, just a few years ago AI music meant a more or less sensible MIDI stream... And each feature costs some time of your fellow human to maintain. "It's so simple to add X". Yeah, but then someone will need to fix bugs in the X, modify X when the other stuff, which it talks to, changes, and the shutting down of the X will cause the "😡" in a lot of the people, even after the feature is totally obsolete and superseded by a better. The saying of "Please fix it right away" assumes that there are not tens more bugs in the queue of the same tired human who's not less and not more a human than you. Yes, your bug may be urgent, but they have only so much dedicated, separate time to assess even where to place that bug in the said queue. And the AI programs are extremely complex, and probabilistic algorithms are capricious. Please have the patience and the respect of the people who breathed life intioSuno : not in an University's lab with the 3 million in grant money to publish how to do that and advance our knowledge, but rather those who've made an actual product available to you, to me and to everyone in the world for a pocket charge of a few Dollars, Euro or Seashells With A Hole for the whole month ! Hi SUNO devs. I've found that persona ends songs at 3:35 and sometimes cuts them off even before that. Often I will use extend but more often than not the song will extend to 1:59 and then cut off again! So what now? Do I just extend extend extend forever? I feel like I've wasted a TON of credits (my money) on this. The bug reporting isn't sufficient because it doesn't provide the option to explain the bug (hence why I'm writing here). Can someone please look into this, resolve the issue, and perhaps refund credits? Thank you.

I should also add, that this is not just a persona issue, but one that has happened often before.

Good, a few of us did some testing, and it seems that this bug really exists. When a song is made with a persona and extended, it shows the persona tag in its information, but it doesn’t appear in the persona’s album.

It's a known bug. The model v3.5 often repeats a verse if there's enough time left until the 4m00s cut-off. The v3 has not this problem. When I want to cut the extra, I set the model to v3, add the tag [end], and "Extend" the song from approximately the start of the last line of the verse or other element which I want to complete the song. If there is an outro, with the vocal or without it, and an extra verse before it, repeat the [outro] from the same point, about one line earlier. Usually it ends the song the way you want. Turn off ad blockers temporarily to verify. uBlock may become too aggressive (and CPU-intensive, too) if many of the lists are enabled. If it doesn't helps, clear the browser's caches. The Cookie Autodelete extension may clean all the data that the browser stores for a single domain but it leaves the other cookies/the other stored stuff alone. (I turn off timed autodelete in it, and use it only for such selective cleanup so that my other whitelisted logins survive, but YMMV. RTFM SVP).

There was a talk that the tracks are done too short. I can confirm that the maximal track length is 3m27s, not 4m00s, and they end abruptly. However, the lyrics is fit in this time, instrumental choruses are chortened, or the tempo of verses increased. Not all verses: the tempo and vocal energy of the verses seems increasing as the song progresses. The choruses aren't growing the tempo.

The lyrics may or may not be suitable for exactly 3m27s ; with certain diminished tempo it might could have fit the apparent maximal time perfectly. However, I've never observed that. Instead, the 4 verses (the structure is repeated : [verse] {lyrics} [chorus][instrumental], four times) are fit into a shorter time than the maximal. The extended instrumental ending is always cut if the duration of the resulting song is exactly 3m27s, but ends in a cadence and shuts up normally if the duration is less than this magical value 3m27s. I cannot guess the significance of this time in usual time units : 3m27s egalent 107s, the number that draws me a blank. (although internal algo time unit may indeed be entirely unrelated to the second).

1. Regenerate video not working if you do it from the specific song’s URL.

2. Being able to “extend” another author opens up the ability to cover their song, which you apparently don’t want since the option isn’t there
   -note: I have found users that have somehow recreated celeb voices (Eminem in particular).
   If other users can extend and then create a persona, they may be unknowingly participating in a legal gray area which opens them up to being banned. You don’t want this and we don’t want this.

3. (This is my biggest want) to be able to allow specific users to use a persona, cover a song, extend a song, etc.

I haven't seen anything specific from the devs about this but I expect they are aware of it as this has been mentioned a few times in different places here. Cover also seems to generate songs roughly around that length from what I've experienced. Bear in mind that covers and persona are both beta features at the moment.

Extend gives you half the length of a "part 1". For v3.5 a part 1 will be up to 4 minutes, so extensions up to 2 minutes. That cutoff is intentional. Though it's annoying when it wants to keep the song going when you want it to end - normally switching to v3 and extending at the time you want it to end, putting [outro] [end] in the lyrics (on different lines) and "end" in the style will do the trick. Obviously, it uses 10 credits to do the extension but it's the best way to achieve it that I know of.

If the song quietens down to an ending and then starts going again, and you're subscribed (which you must be since you're using personas), you can use "crop" to cut off the end part that you don't want.

I am aware that the Personas are in BETA right now, and we're given 200 free to utilize as subscribing members. Yesterday, I was able to play with this feature and throw together four songs (two generations) that, while cutting off short, sounded pretty good. I have been having an issue where song playback and pitch are slower/lower. Sometimes restarting the browser (or app as it happens there as well sometimes) resolves it, but not always. Unfortunately, it has not been resolving itself with a restart today. I am using MS Edge on Windows 10 and the app on iOS 17.6.1. I don't really get any buffering notification when it happens, it just plays slowly.

It worked for me on the first 2 attempts on 2 different accounts with pro plan (i have 3 for experimental purposes ^^) and when it works, its probably the best feature they've added. But unfortunately after those initial first 2 attempts all kinds of issues start to pop up. Like cutting off the last parts (all songs at some point were exactly 3min12, always cutting off) quality severely degrades, vocals sound really noisy and issues with old prompt lyrics popping up randomly in a totally different new prompt. If you make an extension from a song made using a persona, the part 2, part 3, etc looses the persona icon next to it, making it harder to difference between them unless you title it with the persona name.

It's weird I know but it's likely singing this part of your style prompt. It can happen sometimes. I'd change this part "female voice, clear voice, k-pop voice" (though I am not sure if the last one would really be necessary because k-pop is already in the prompt a lot)

Hello! Can you please fix the content filter for swedish songs when doing covers!? It doesnt allow using the word "ʙʀᴀ" which means "good" in swedish, and also you cant use the word "ꜱʟᴜᴛ" which means "end" in swedish. So you cant use a line like "I want everyone to feel good" because of the first word (ʙʀᴀ/good), and you cant use something like "i want suffering to end" becacuse of the second word (ꜱʟᴜᴛ/end). Every single song contains "ʙʀᴀ" in swedish, its the most common word to rhyme with since it rhymes with so many things.

Yes, it can ofc not be global. But they are in fact being blocked atm for covers (not new generations, only covers). I always get error when using those 2 words and replacing them or removing them fixes the error 🤷‍♂️

DESCRIPTION: It appears that you have fixed one issue (in which we were not able to delete songs when one of the selected songs was an upload) and created another. Now it seems impossible to delete multiple selected songs.

TO REPLICATE:

1. Select a song you've previously created, in the Create section
2. Shift-select another song (note: have at least 3 songs selected)
3. Go to the 3 vertical dots → Move to Trash
   EXPECTED: All selected songs get moved to trash
   ACTUAL: Only one of the selected songs gets moved to trash.

Why on earth does replacing on an extend(part 2) mark it as a full song when you select the part to replace, I can't work towards the finish to the back half of the song as it's no longer marked as part 2, so it wont have part 1 linked if I extend again and get the full song, I can not fathom how this makes sense in any way
