I have a SERIOUS problem with uploading my original ideas, parts songs, loops (my loops , not the other) etc. to SUNO.
EVERYTHING, but I mean EVERYTHING was rejected with the message "Uploaded audio matches existing work of art"
How is this possible if I don't have a single account on social networks, I don't have a YT channel, I don't share my recordings via the Internet, etc. and the recordings have NEVER been published - they live in my head..
My whole work is protected by GEMA and I'm sole owner of the complete rights!
Has SUNO perhaps developed an advanced technology of reading the user's mind and knows in advance what the user will upload and automatically blocks it?
Another amazing thing - I recorded 30 seconds of white noise and uploaded it - guess what the message was?
"Uploaded audio matches existing work of art" !!!
And I also uploaded some incoherent tones that made no sense, strange vocals, screams, etc.. and the message was OF COURSE again "Uploaded audio matches existing work of art"
I mean that's really frustrating, and even worse than that is the complete ignoring from SUNO support - I sent at least 5 emails asking them to look into what it's all about - no response.
I'm terribly disappointed with everything that's happening right now...

Hey Alex, thanks again for your help.

I’ve already contacted support and submitted the form. I also wanted to apologize if older uploads triggered or violated the TOS. At that time I wasn’t fully aware that restrictions could apply even if the material wasn’t published.

For some time now, we’ve been fully focused on our own original productions and I’ve adjusted my workflow to make sure everything is compliant moving forward.

If there’s any chance for a manual review of the upload restriction, I’d really appreciate it.

I used the replace text option using the editor. It refuses to replace the text, places the replaced text incorrectly or generates five minutes instead of the seconds I want to replace. I just want to replace one line. That's it. It must be a bug because I must've spent like a hundred points generating trying to get this right.

I have succeeeded before, in the past, on I believe 5.0 tune. I don't know if 5.5 is the cause for derp? But that doesn't seem likely. Either way, doesn't seem to work for me. I'm not sure if some update broke the function? Granted, I did use the mashup feature, and maybe that one doesn't like text being replaced?

Edit: Covering the tune radically changes the sound. It's basically getting an entirely new tune. You can't really set the reference to 100% and only changing one detail. Everything changes. Thus why I tried the text replace function. But if that function doesn't work, why do you have it? Last time when I made a replace, I replaced two lines. That worked. It replaced the text at the right spot, not being offset by ten seconds.

when I try to login with Facebook, I get this error. I sent an email to Support over a month ago. They looked into it initially responding quickly, they found my account said it was an issue with Facebook, but since I had created another account signing in with Gmail, they said they could merge the two accounts into the Gmail, but that was the last I heard from them and I sent several follow up emails and they don't get back to me so I'll show you hear what the error looks like and please let me know if it's something you could fix. So the bug is with the Facebook login.

Any ideas how to fix this issue please? Support have said this is a fault their end with age verification and they've said they've removed the block twice now but I still have the problem. I've tried logging out and back in again.

I keep getting generations with 10-15 seconds. I also get with under 10 seconds, where credits are marked as refunded, but for those that are more than 10 seconds, it doesn't apply? These are unusable.

Could you fix the volume slider in the legacy editor right quick? I prefer it and use it over the other editors on Suno. It just recently broke and now always reverts back to max volume no matter where you adjust the slider. I'm using Brave but I'm sure it's broke on some other chromium based browsers.

I’m having an issue when trying to upload my own audio to Suno.
I constantly receive the following error message:

“Uploaded audio matches existing work of art.”

The problem is that these tracks are completely original and created entirely by me. There are no copyrighted samples, no reused material, and nothing that belongs to anyone else.

These are private demo tracks that I have never uploaded anywhere before. Despite this, I receive the same error on all of my demos when attempting to upload them.

Could you please check whether my account or uploads are being incorrectly flagged by the detection system?

To be clear, there's a difference between upload bans (that user), and people blocked by the on going issue with false positives (people being blocked on just their own original recordings). If you come to this channel and waste my time complaining you can't upload every song from Dragon Ball Z, you will be treated accordingly. If you are a musician blocked from uploading your demo tape, you have my sympathy and that sucks, and we're working to fix that problem.

Small issue with Extend function

Steps to reproduce:

  1. select Edit - Extend from three dots menu on a song
  2. in Extend From field type 1:30
  3. press play in Audio group box, and scroll somewhere before specified timestamp (like 1:20 or so)
  4. previously, playing would stop once 1:30 timestamp has reached. Now, it doesn't stop anymore.

This isn’t the channel for copyright philosophy debates.

I understand the frustration from the user side, but the reality is that the issue people have isn’t really with Suno but it’s with copyright law and, ironically, the same artists/rightsholders whose music they want to upload in the first place.

Expecting Suno to just ignore existing law and openly allow infringement is not a realistic expectation for any company operating publicly.

It seems to happen randomly to me and if I close the browser and reopen it, the stems are there.

I think it's a browser issue not suno unless its too much traffic on Suno, but I doubt that would be the cause. The backbones Suno uses for their network are some of the most robust available.

Hi! My song details wont pop up on the right side like it used to when I click on a song. So I can't see the song details at all. I tried pressing the "Hide Song Details" button in the play section when a song is selected, but it doesn't do anything.

I tried both chrome and microsoft edge and they both wont show the song details.

When I click the Hide/Show song details it toggles between the two wordings but nothing pops up.

I can't send a screen shot because it only lets me post ever 2 hours.

While I'm wonderfully complimented that my rendition of the 1895 song "Yuki no Shingun" (https://youtu.be/pRkuToXxneo) is considered so professional that it's close to a copyrighted work, I'm near certain that no one else has done a rendition of this song, with acoustic guitar in English, thus I suspect this is a false positive, unless the copyright checker is checking against YouTube and there's a rule against uploading your own works that I missed.

I don't know if this is a hurry up and wait kind of issue or if there is anything I can do to help. I will note, I don't enforce copyright on any of my works on my channel so if this is the copyright checker scouring YouTube for similar works, you can set the tool to ignore anything posted by me.

That is correct anything you try to make after you cancel and go to the free plan is not considered yours anymore. So you cannot download and use it for whatever you want even if it's something that you made before and you're making a variant of it you do not have the rights to it anymore

As for white noise being rejected. On the surface, that sounds funny. *"Why can't I use white noise, it's just noise?" * You have to flip it around, "how could one of the most common sounds NOT already be registered a work." Doesn't mean someone should be allowed to register white noise, that's an abuse of an upstream system, but it is what it is.

Hello. The billing page is completely stuck due to an unclickable pending invoice.

I previously selected the Annual Pro plan but didn't pay for it, and now I want to switch back to the regular Monthly plan instead. However, the subscription portal is glitched and doesn't allow me to change, switch, or clear this pending state.

On May 7th, email support replied that checking the billing portal would trigger an automatic void, and if it didn't work, they would fix it manually. I checked the portal multiple times, the automatic fix failed, and support stopped responding to my emails entirely. My account remains frozen.

Can a moderator please manually clear this stuck invoice from the system?

Yeah, my songs since around early April are not showing up in the public search. No idea what the heck is happening. Have contacted support but so far no reply. They're on my profile, but not on the site through search. Also noticed my biggest tracks with the most listens are gone. It's a game killing bug that ruined the engagement I had as I would presume I'm not showing up in my followers feeds too. I write my own songs so my guess is some offending swear words in a punk song I made a couple of months ago triggered this. unfortunately, still the same problem - here is the (one of many) my own songs which cause "troubles", rather ideas and sounds than complete songs - never published, this is first time in my whole life I put some of my work on Internet - but if this can help to solve problem for community - good 🙂
Please note - this is rather generic harmonic progression. but I have a great melody for it 🙂

If this is stock music that's why you'd blocked on it. Even if this is free to use stock music, or public domain music, because you don't have exclusive rights to it, you can't upload to suno.

Its just cropped. There is no browser zoom its just snipping tool only capturing the side. My tabs aren't going to help as it happens on two different browsers. My Microsoft edge is literally default installed nothing added so its not my tabs.

I just received a response to my bug report about that lyric false positive.

"If your song is already uploaded to another platform (e.g YouTube, Spotify, etc.), Suno AI detects it as a copyrighted material. We have noted that some cases do slip through our detection, but this still does not align with the terms of service."

Is it an official position now? Doing remakes of my own songs with my own lyrics does not align with the ToS?

Issue: many of my songs and hooks seem to get "soft banned" for no apparent reasons, with songs and hooks barely getting any views after hours and days of being published despite visuals and lyrics being very mild, PG13 at the very most. It's been like this for several songs without any explanation. I think they might overtuned some of the "thematic" censors. I mean my hooks and songs get no restrictions on Tiktok and Facebook and they get plenty of positive views and reactions.

I think one issue might be people feeling "offended" by a hook, darker visual vibe, or some lyrics that don't share their worldview (religious or otherwise) and being trigger happy to report songs as "inappropriate" thus possibly (I'm guessing here) toggling off visibility for each such report... Either that or the AI sensors themselves are way too sensitive. Which has been a very frustrating situation for me since I started my project late last year.

The issue is that the timing shifts after I hit 'Next'. I perfectly synced the video to the lyrics in Hooks using the scissor tool, and it looks fine in the live preview. But as soon as I proceed, everything shifts and is completely out of sync

Currently, I have noticed that Suno appears to have difficulty generating music consistently. Quite often, it produces tracks with a duration of 7:59, where the composition seems to loop repeatedly throughout the song. Once it reaches the 7:59 mark, the track ends very abruptly, which makes the result feel unfinished and unnatural.

I'm not really sure if this is a bug, but since 5.5 i noticed if I go into a "emo or classic rock" style the vocals sometimes progressively get more feminine throughout the song even if I exclude styles. to clarify its very minor and Ive noticed the less I put in styles the better the vocals, but the direction doesn't go in the way I want.

I am unable to use the "use your own voice" feature. I see the pink "New" badge on the "+ Voice" button in Advanced creation mode, but when I click it, I get the old "pick a song from your library" dialog, and cannot choose uploaded audio at all, and cannot record audio.
I was able to use this feature once and successfully created a voice with it, but I've been unable since.

I created an instrumental track purely based on text prompts (no samples, no voices, no lyrics, no remix/cover). Downloaded it. Processed it in Audacity to make it sound Lo-fi. When I try to upload it, Suno refuses saying "track matches existing work of art" - this is ridiculous!

Just wanted to let you know I figured out the issue I was having with my profile not showing me all of my pinned songs. It seems that when the number of pinned songs was lowered to 5, it kept all of my pinned songs but some of them just got ghosted and went invisible. Unpinning the visible ones, refreshing, and then repeating until they were all unpinned, then redoing my pinned songs fixed the issue. Just in case someone else runs into the same thing.

I’m writing again about the upload issue.

I already filled out the Google form for the false-positive detection problem, but I still get the same error on all of my uploads:

All of these tracks are fully original demos made by me. They don’t contain copyrighted material, samples, or reused audio, and I’ve never uploaded them anywhere before.

I recently bought a subscription, but right now I can’t really use the upload feature because all of my tracks are being blocked by this error.

What should I do next? Is it possible to manually review my uploads or account?

I am using v5.5 and "my taste". When, I copy/paste my taste in style, I get things from the styles as lyrics in my song. It is especially with the "avoids" part

Hello, I have issue to report. My workspace has a lot of songs, around 5,000 tracks, and the search function often doesn’t work correctly. Sometimes it just returns empty results, even when I know the song is definitely in my library. I can find it by going through the pages.

Whenever I try to Get Full Song with my extensions off my V3.5 songs, it does not work, instead it just says "Error Occured When Generating Clip". We haven’t received any response from support or any indication that Suno is working on this. We’re all paying for this, and in the meantime, we can’t use Suno the way we intended when we first signed up. Going back to the copyright and lyrics situation... Uploading a complete instrumental gives me same result other work match. Cutting it same result. The filter is too restrictive not differentiating on melodies and or leitmotifs or thinking that the instrumental is the backbone of the song. The beat, the harmony, the chords...

Sorry the discord setting didn't allowed me to respond without delay. The thing was that suno itself creates this writing in the My Taste field.

As stated on this page, suno will use this info the generate the style.

I just copied and pasted the text in style itself. And yes by copy pasting itself I did not use negative prompt. However, this might point out that a part of the text generated in MyTaste is not written correctly (accordingly your explanation)

I hereby assume that the magic wand uses the same ai or some rules as the normal generation option.

So I concluded that a part of the code to generate the avoids in the MyTaste is either bugged or wrongly trained and that is why I posted here

I am experiencing an issue with uploading my own audio clip. I previously uploaded an a cappella vocal track that I own the rights to. I generated some variations, but wasn't satisfied, so I deleted all the generated songs and the original uploaded clip (and emptied the trash).

However, when I try to re-upload the EXACT SAME audio file, the system blocks me, stating it is similar to existing artwork and I don't have the rights. Since I am the original creator and I deleted my previous attempts, your copyright system is mistakenly blocking my own work.

Could you please clear this audio fingerprint from your database or fix my account so I can continue working on my song?

It looks like v5.5 can't do instrumentals for the life of it. I put Instrumental in Styles, I put [Instrumental] in Lyrics, I put vocals in Negative prompts - it still adds its own lyrics. It's really frustrating.

Mostly two songs in one without a proper ending. The generations are practically useless. (That one 4 minute gen starts in the middle of the second chorus...). 😑
Don't know what happened in the background but since they did some changes to the UI a couple of days ago Custom Models and Voices do NOT work properly anymore. Lyrics are mumbled, the voices sound drunk, the instrumentation is wobbly.
The newer model drags the songs out even if you shorten lyrics. Trying to change speed with Editor or Studio is buggy, too, though it worked fine before.
It was better for some time and now it feels as if we are back to square one.

I'm on brave browser, but I checked on edge and incognito and it's the same everywhere. And the lag is everything, massive scrolling lag, even if it's just 20 songs or 200, it's very slow to scroll, and when I reach the bottom of the currently loaded songs in the list for it to then load the next 20+ songs it stops and freezes/lags for like 10+ seconds just to load the rest. I tried turning on and off my hardware acceleration too. The lag is of course even worse when I have more songs but even with 20 songs there's still lag. There's a little lag when clicking play but the songs still play normally.

Can you dm me for me to send you the video? Also there's a 2 hour timer on here.

so literally everytime i put in anything going through my actual interface, since the 17th, it fails, including roomtone with no music

edit: I know...? i'm saying i've realized it's every single time i record something, not staying in the box. I've reported on multiple accounts, but now i know it's that.

edit 3: the issue is when using a pro level audio interface, it works without that or in the box (other than the time certain samples trigger it)

It's a general issue with 5.5, not with specific prompts. Vocals quite often appear in absolutely different genres with different prompts. I didn't have this issue with previous models. I like the sound of 5.5 but I'm tired of its issues.

I know the filter is in beta and that it's a system level issue that could affect many people including me, but on the meantime and as I've said and proposed, on system level could be some kind of a feature on which, when uploading the audio if it detects work match it prompts the user if continuing the upload making the original audio private and only private, personal, etc. Or stil cancel? Or it will be as it is right now blocking any uploads? Shall I contact suno support for that matter? Sent a form past yesterday. I'm gonna try again if it passes. Anyone else ever got the "Too many requests." orange pop up in suno before and cannot send comments on songs or as replies? I got it for the 1st time. How long am I grounded from posting comments?

I’m a paid user locked out of my Windows desktop web login. Billing replied once but I haven’t received follow-up. Support previously confirmed this is a Cloudflare/Clerk issue and offered to add Google SSO to my existing account. Could a Suno staff member please help escalate my ticket?

Truth by told you should eventually get those refunded. The ledger is optimistic with I think a 15 - 20 minute window on the refund

Out of 18 tracks I just made, they all went to 7:59 except for one of them, rendering them pretty much useless and a waste of credits. Have Suno ackowledged this bug yet? Are they going to fix it?

Note: Downloading stems is working on Pro Plan; but the "Premier tag" is slightly misleading.

This centuries old tune gets rejected, there is no copyright on this - it is a medieval tune. Also I am a bit lost as to why customers are pointed to the support@suno.com email address, when that address is no longer in use, at least it is not responding to anything! Is there anyone who can help?

I really hate this update. I only use old cartoon songs that no longer exist.

Please read carefully: this song was made by an old Vietnamese company before their channel got banned for unknown reasons. There are a lot of old fans who used to repost every song that is no longer protected due to some old drama between a fake owner and the real owner.

the fact is when the fan got their video mean it their treasure a treasure of the memory from old cartoon i gladfully thank to the fan who uploading it before without this one i cannot find their video or even their song anymore.

Only we know about this, but now it has completely become lost media. I was asking the real owner on Facebook, and I have a wish—I hope he accepts my request to allow me to use his old cartoon songs.

But now he is making a product for his wife, and he no longer makes songs for kids anymore. He doesn’t want to have another drama from copycats trying to copy him again.

Now I want to do my own purpose. I want to make it clean. I want to use Suno to make a children’s song based on his old cartoon song. I want to improve it and make a video recording, and sing it with my own voice after getting a better result from Suno.

After my project is done, I hope he will like it, because I want to fulfill my wish. I cannot wait too long. Without this, it feels very frustrating.

I don’t want to use BHMedia songs because their songs are terrible and don’t sound good. I really like the original owner’s songs—the one who made the cartoon—not BHMedia, because their music gives me a very bad feeling.

SUNO, PLEASE LISTEN CAREFULLY. If you do not remove this issue, I cannot fulfill my wish in one day. I really need this. I believe this is a false positive, and I do not accept it.

G'day. Was excited to see I can create my own model. Resubscribed specifically for this feature. I got an entire backcatalog of original "chiptune" adjacent music that I'd like to bulk upload, but it's triggering the "known recording" bug. Rest assured, I am the rightful artist and consent to my music being used. I similarly don't mind if other users were to upload my music and play with it. Therefore if there is an option to universally whitelist my music, go ahead. Possibly the attached image is sufficent for proof of owernship? Any help greatly appreciated.

I do believe this is a bug—it has to be.

It's too vague and unclear to be any specific issue.

It was an mp3 file, by the way, so that shouldn't be a problem.

I also tried several times and got the same result.

It can't be copyright, because it would have told me; there's a very specific error for that.

Dear admins (I know the v4 model is legacy, But I figured to still point it out): The issue with extending a v4 song which results in a hallucination bug still exists, Wondering if you guys could fix that and also, the cover function on v4 is also broken, As it reverts back to v3.5 or the broken version of the cover in v4. When it is the playlist update in web, where it does not lag. It lags when you scroll. If you have lots of songs on the playlist. It is unusable in web.

I know it has been an issue off and on for a while, but search just never works anymore and it is making it almost impossible to get anything done. Library and create, nothing appears. It used to at least work for some stuff. Especially with as slow as everything loads, I just cannot scroll through ALL of my tracks to find what I'm looking for. I wasn't going to make a fuss about it, because others have reported it and I'm sure it is a known issue... but it has made the site almost useless.

A midi file with one instrument cannot be verified, and a midi file of same song with multiple instruments matches with an existing recording. We're suffering from this issue for almost a week. Can Suno rollback the safeguard to the old one, and bring a new one only when it works?

Hi, I do have some problem in the new editor. I have no sound while the sound in library is working and the song is not divided into sections.

Hello Suno Support,

Your copyright detection system is repeatedly blocking my uploads even though the recordings are original and legally mine to use.

The files contain:

  • my own singing,
  • my own recordings,
  • and traditional Ukrainian folk songs that are public domain material.

I am NOT uploading copyrighted commercial music, covers, or stolen content.

I have already tried:

  • WAV export,
  • shorter clips,
  • different file formats,
  • and fresh recordings.

The system still flags everything as:
“Uploaded audio contains copyrighted lyrics.”

This is clearly a false positive and makes the upload feature unusable for legitimate creators.

Please review and fix this issue or manually check my account/uploads.

I am not entirely sure it is even being looked at - my feeling is that Suno AI is in the progress of being abandoned/dissolved - it has been weeks and not a single actual person has reached out to anyone as far as I can see. Does anyone has similar experiences or is it just me? It was an amazing platform when it worked, but since they broke it, it is unusable - cannot hardly get any upload through. I sent multiple emails to Support - they're not even being acknowledged either. Can anyone shine a light on this? It would be massively appeciated. Just want to know what on earth is going on. Thanks!

Is the “Existing Work of Art” or “This audio matches an existing recording” issue fixed now?

Because it still seems inconsistent sometimes uploads work, and sometimes they don’t.

I honestly don’t even understand what parameters are triggering these flags on recordings or uploads anymore.

I just genuinely want to know: does Suno still consider this a bug? Is the Suno team actively working on it, or is this situation permanent now?

Please, can somebody answer honestly?

Bug - can't generate replacements in V3.5 on songs where the remove feature was previously used. In unedited songs (where remove wasn't used at any point), the replace feature in editor works.

Hello, I know this topic has already been discussed, and I also know that Suno is currently working on detecting existing licensed songs.

However, there is something extremely frustrating: when you created original compositions several years ago using samples or rhythmic loops, the song is systematically rejected.

To be clear, these are samples and rhythmic loops that I purchased legally, with invoices available if needed, meaning I do have the right to use them commercially. It’s really unfortunate that the use of commercially sold samples and rhythmic loops within an original creation is systematically rejected, especially at a time when computer-assisted music production is everywhere, and samples or rhythmic loops are present in a huge number of songs.

I’ve uploaded my original demos and getting that now classic “matches an existing work of art” error.
Just to make doubly sure I ran my demos through a music identifier and it said … no matches!
It’s 100% original.
But the bug persists… and yes this’ll probable flagged with an #🚀┃updates thing and I’ll get a slow mode enabled slap but come on…
Im sure this issue is because of the WMG license testing but for us genuine artists the ability to upload our own works is crucial for development

Luis here. How's the status of the filter going? Did the same uploads again. Mi Spanish language cover of Irvin Berlin's "I hate to get up in the morning", another cover from George M. Cohan's "American RagTime", mi cover of Berenguier de Palou's "Tant M'abelis", tryed even with instrumental versions, raws, dubs, etc. of sons, riddims, etc. And still flags as existing. A false positive through another and I don't know if this gets resolved or not, because I want to go back through those Suno 3.5 days where it was almost free to upload anything, even covers of songs and public domain, or patrimony, songs. Maybe I've sent this message on the wrong channel maybe not, but maybe I don't know if there will be a fix or a returnal to the previous behaviour. I know, I know there's no ETA yet, but still I want to know more since this week past.
