Yes, I agree. I sent a ton of reports, but nothing happened. And no refunds. One time, I simply stopped generating tracks after discovering a bunch of errors, but Suno charged me for the next month's subscription. I wrote to support asking for a refund, and I didn't spend a single credit, but I received neither a refund nor a response from support. Support did nothing, no help, no answers.

Explain to me what's going on? I had 10 credits left in my account, and suddenly, without any generations, it started showing 5 credits. Okay, if there were 5 credits, then 50 daily credits should have been automatically credited (I always get them when I have a paid subscription). But now it's just 5 credits, nothing is updating, and it won't let me generate tracks, saying that at least 10 credits are required for generation (I already know this). What's going on?

Hey! I ran into the same issue, but I think I found a little workaround.
When recreating a track (for example, drums), I select the “drums” track and, in the Style field, I type something like:

“Only drums, no strings, no bass, no guitars, no synth, no FX, same track but better quality.”

That way, it only regenerates the drums instead of adding multiple instruments or a full mix.
Not perfect, but it seems to work pretty reliably so far!

I've had that all day yesterday, lots of songs between 30 seconds and 1min 30 seconds, just being cut off in random spots. garbled lyrics, singing all kind of technical text that's not even in the lyrics. I stopped using FireFox many years ego, many people using and recommened it to use, but I tried many years again and again. not understanding why they like it. I'm a freelance PC repair/fix worker, including OS tuning, BIOS mod with a flash programmer, and I like when PC works perfect or something close to perfect. FireFox (I tried it once, tried again after a couple of years, again, again, because people recommended it all the time) NEVER worked ok. People who recommend ed it anyway come to me to fix their PC problems, because they just saying "FireFox is a good browser", but realy don't understand what is good but what is bad.

Hello. I've been experiencing this bug for several days now: the track isn't smooth, but jumps to another section, as if everything was cut and glued together unevenly, or the needle on a vinyl player jumps to another section. well I'll admit I don't know much about which browsers are the best and I didn't originally choose it for performance. it was just what I was familiar with. I know it's far from being the most optimal browser for many websites.

still I figured my problem is a web bug so I'd report it and Firefox is a pretty popular browser so I'm sure many Suno users are running it.

main reason why I stick with it is because it's always been enough, it's one of the best in terms of privacy and security, I hate chrome and... well I've been running this PC for over 11 years now. still performs very nicely. never had any maintenance. only thing I ever upgraded was my GPU. so it's just a case of me not wanting to risk the flow of my PC by making any unnecessary changes since I know most computers don't last this long while still being able to run all the latest games and software just fine. let alone go this long without needing any kind of fixes or maintenance. superstitious maybe but hey it works for me. :p

I built this thing with the sole focus of lasting and well... it's done just that. sure it's got many more years to go knock on wood Lol.

Getting poor quality sounds while using inspo. Sounds are over saturated, strange cuts/transitions and it will repeat phrases or words here and there. I turn off inspo and it stops doing it.

My persona is the basis for all of my tracks. Version 5 already has a lot of issues, and removing the personas without any announcement, or the option to create a new one is really another mindblowing decision. Sounds like they have big technical issues there. Burning through credits because of all the glitches, poor structure, terrible voices... Suno 5 was introduced as revolutionary, but it doesn't live up to it's promise. That was made, despite it being a beta release. For me, Suno in more than one way is getting worse instead of better.

In AI, two years is a lifetime ago. You can't keep comparing it to a version that's two years ol. Compared to 4.5, the V5 should never have been released with the promise attached that it would be so much better. It's really worse. And yes I got a credit refund as a 'courtesy'. But it's too unstable to have been released other than for test purposes. Also, I have the strong impression that earlier versions have gone down in quality since the release of Version 5.

Where do I question him being reputable? I'm not. I only mention that it's not working and the explanation I read. It's also not working with new songs. In remasters the option is greyed out. In other songs you get the option to create a new persona, but when you try to save it, it only gives an error message. If it's a permanent new approach and the personas don't return, I will be curious to see what alternative they are going to offer to be able to work with a consistent voice.

I keep getting Finnish dialect in certain words, i keep generating songs for hundred of credits, songs are amazing, but AI, both 4.5 PRO and 5 keep insisting some words should have finnish dialect, wasted about 4k credits and counting on this issue. Can I work with someone to report when this happens?

Hej, I make songs in Swedish and I've had the problem but not recently (on v5). Can you give some specific words I can try? I may have accepted an odd dialect overall, it's magic anyway. 🙂
Three workarounds I've been using:

• Write [Swedish (rikssvenska)] or similar at the top of the lyrics and/or the style. Not sure it helps, but it didn't hurt.
• Misspell the word, write the pronounciation out. It usually changes things, but not always to the better. (Even if it doesn't do exactly what you wrote, it may be enough to get the AI out of that "specific word".)
• In Studio or other editor, you can cut-n-paste syllables (in stem) from other words or make vowels longer/shorter. It's tedious, but if it's just one word, it might be the way and costs no credits.

What did you try yourself? 4k credits is a lot, maybe you can share some more ideas?
I don't think Swedish is a priority, , and the way Generative AI works, it's not easy/possible for them to tweak things like this. I wrote them a suggestion to support IPA phonetic symbols for language independent control. Not to discourage you, but here's the response I got from Support on my suggestion.
"At this time, Suno supports a variety of languages, but performance and accuracy can vary depending on the language. Some widely spoken languages tend to generate better results than others. While you may be able to create songs in other language, please note that pronunciation and overall quality may not always be perfect, as our model is still improving.

We recommend experimenting with structured prompts and lyrics to see what works best. And please continue to use the thumbs up and thumbs down buttons, as your feedback helps us refine the model and expand support for more languages over time."

I’d like to report an issue that occurs when using our own audio tracks in Suno Studio. When applying the "On Beat" feature, the timing of some audio clips becomes completely distorted — the playback speed increases drastically, making the tracks play much faster than intended and completely out of sync.

This issue seriously impacts the workflow and needs to be fixed urgently.

I think this might be "by design", but I'm not entirely sure how it's meant to work. What were you expecting the "on beat" to do? What did Suno think the tempo of those clips to be? It will base the "adjustment" of that number. Maybe a workflow is to import each of the sources into a separate Studio and give them a proper BPM first.

Did you fix manual tempo 120 at the bottom of the page?

I've been camping away from internet for a few weeks, I was really hoping some of the bugs would be fixed by now....
Mainly, that the Persona still generates the same TUNE over and over and over and over........ I've set the Style and Audio Influence sliders to 0%, and it's still giving me the same tune that the Persona is based on. Not just the voice and instrumental sound, but the actual tune, the rhythm, the key, the chords, the note progression.... (this is a problem with the AI Model, or how it interprets the Persona.
This is making it difficult to use the platform. It's frustrating when the same tune starts playing, even though I've given it new lyrics, or hit the Create button again. I get the same tune, often for both songs generated in the run. It's a complete waste. I'm sure this is a very expensive problem....

And yeah, it is with changing the lyrics, still getting the same tune.
I'm putting together a playlist in my music player of all the songs that gave the same tunes, I'm going to combine them all into one video to upload to YouTube. But other things have been more important than that task.....

I recorded a song playing divided by tracks (the tracks are the same size) and then the on beat button is used to adjust possible time errors. And then when I added the tracks and used the button, the suno accelerated some tracks and even if I try to adjust (increasing BPM when I generate the final version it is out of sync, that is, the error is at the time of using the "on Beat" tool.

@solar grove - i have3 an additional defect to log. The create button will at times simply not do anything on all browsers. To reproduce, you can try several generations and then generations will stop. Reloading the page fixes it. By several generations i mean twice, and waiting about a minute between them.

@magic kernel WHAT'S WRONG WITH SUNO AGAIN???? It seems it's happened again. Suno is just garbage again. SUNO CAN'T HANDLE ROCK MUSIC! Version 5 is also broken again. At the beginning, the song sounds halfway decent, but after the second verse at the latest, the same problems reappear that we already had with versions 4, 4.5, and 4.5+. The mix gets progressively louder, thinner, shriller, and overcompressed. The song is really painful to listen to by the end. SUNO... Please reset version 5, because the song results weren't bad at all at the beginning... except for the distorted guitar sounds, which still sound like they're being played by a Tamagotchi character. Before you continue developing the stillborn Suno Studio, you should really focus ALL your resources on sound quality. It's truly outrageous to charge so much money for such terrible quality.

I have to agree with you. It's not only rock music, problems are audible in all genres. Sound quality of V5 significantly degraded this week. I just re-listened to my generations this week and it seems that change happened around October 21-22, since then V5 became much less detailed, and more compressed with very dirty high frequencies and tons of hissing. Currently, V4.5 have better sound, but i like musicality of V5 much more. When V5 was just released it gave us very detailed and realistic stereo sound with realistic scene. Now all this is gone. Before recent changes, i also had situations where sound was more dirty in second part of song, but now it seems that sound is dirty since first second of song. I don't know if they unintentionally broke something in code or is this has something to do with AWS issues and they turned off some processing to reduce servers load, but they clearly need to fix this ASAP, currently V5 is unusable.

1. I create a Suno account via my Apple ID, log in after a week and my account is locked for 2 weeks for no reason.
2. I contact support, they reply once and didn't resolve my issue. (no reply there after and it's been 10 days)
3. After my account lock was gone I had access for 1 day to Suno.
4. Log in the next day and all my songs are gone and my subscription inactive.
   Now I have to mail support after knowing full well they are unresponsive and unhelpful.

Right now, Suno is designed in a way that you basically have to hope the song turns out good and complete right from the first generation. If something sounds off and you try to extend it, it often takes a very long time for Suno to produce a decent continuation, and in most cases, you still have to settle for something that doesn’t sound quite right.

I came across the bug that the same song settings on versions 4.5 and 5 generate songs of different lengths. The 5th version is limited to only 5 minutes, whereas the 4.5 version makes the song to the end of the lyrics. i think you are getting creep influence from other tracks.. i had that problem. cured it by a different means but you can try "create new workspace" have only one track that fits your style without invading voices or abnormal weirdness..you may have to cover it for awhile and see if it stops ...after rendering songs in there, remove them..keep the one in there.. .you have to be in clean space --also clean playlists - using as inspo have a clean playlist. always work in clean space i found...just my experience, not expertise...the button does work though..

Not really. The only thing I could do was just generate again. It seemed like a hit and miss in all honesty. One moment it read lyrics for a generation. Then it read the style prompt for a generation. Then it read the lyrics again. So definitely a suno issue

The only thing I can suggest, that is relying on you not already doing so, would be to use brackets for the lyrics. For example:

I was having that problem, but after refreshing the whole tab/page, the stems were there. I kept clicking in the pop-up box when it showed no stems, only to find that it was generating them and adding them to said workspace; Suno pages rarely refresh on their own in these cases. Manually refreshing the page tends to fix a number of issues.

It keeps mispronouncing words, especially those with the vowel “เ,” which are often read as “เ-อ” instead. Almost every word with that vowel is read incorrectly. The pronunciation doesn’t carry meaning and is full of mistakes. Please fix this issue.

Version 3.5 could pronounce Thai correctly almost all the time, but from version 4 onward, it’s still wrong — and even though version 5 is better, it still makes the same mistakes.

I wonder if Suno acknowledges sound quality issues of V5 last weeks? Currently, the sound is over-compressed (poor dynamic range), high frequencies is noisy and muffled with a lot of hissing. There are less details in sound than before and stereo scene is no longer realistic.

I know, someone can say - sound is ok now, but hey!, 100 years ago people were happy with patefon sound. And if I wouldn't listened to V5 works first two weeks, I would also say that current sound is ok (for AI generated music). If you were subscribed since beginning of V5, just listen to your 10 random generations from that time and compare with current ones. If your equipment is not 10$ speakers, you'll immediately notice the difference. You can also listen to tracks on Suno website, just check "Best of V5" or "Stuff peaks" areas - most tracks are early V5 works there, and they have incredible sound - good dynamics, crisp vocals and perfect stereo scene. Compare them to "Global trending" area were new generations published. You'll notice, that it's no longer possible to create tracks with perfect realistic sound like before.

And last, it's strange that here is no bugs and suggestions sections for discussing model output issues. Like it's not important thing? I'm sad ☹️

Do we still have issues with personas? My usual workflow is to create a song and then cover it with the persona I want to use, but every time I do this, the track cuts short by around 30 seconds. Usually in the end of the last chorus or whatever the last section of singing is.
I've tried this with different songs and different personas. It happens every time.

General advice for this: If something looks like a lyric, even in the style prompt, it could be misinterpreted as a lyric. This is something that can happen both with the style prompt and [style tags] inside lyrics. Keep the style as a single paragraph/block of text (don't format it as multiple lines) and avoid the use of ( and ) which typically are used for highlighting backing vocal lyrics.

If you still find it singing the style prompt despite this, please link an example to be investigated.

Unfortunately, not quite as of yet; I've been whining about this for a while since 100% audio influence is a hoax.

I've tried many, many things like this:

I've even made sure the original audio is sectioned with headers in the song's lyrics page, making sure they match exactly to the lyric's prompt for creation. I've tried header sectioning with both Studio and the old editor—same deviated results.

I hope the developers catch on to this method so that AI can recognize what portions of the original audio are clearly meant to be a verse, chorus, bridge, etc., so that it could further retain the original melody.

I will try to keep it short.
Some time ago, I uploaded the overture from the opera Aida to the workspace, I made if from a MIDI file (copyrights duh, even though Verdi has been dead for ages). I was inspired by cover recordings from the 1980s-90s, when pop versions of classical music were released.
Before version 4.5+ was released, creating such a cover was very easy. Adjusting the sliders was a lot of fun, but the 7-minute piece was perfectly covered in the given style producing quite lengthy results.
Now I came back to check how it works in Suno v5 and was horrified to discover that it doesn't work at all.
I changed the model to 4.5+ and the same thing happened. It is no longer possible to make a cover that is consistent with the source.
It seems to me that Suno loses the original context after the first minute of the source and then improvises (hallucinates) what could have been next. This way, in my case, I was never able to hear the Philadelphia Soul-style Triumphal March again, because that fragment starts at 2:30 minutes in the source.
This is very disappointing and I think it's something that @pearl dock is experiencing with his lack of consistency as he reported.
It must have been a recent change.

Suno doesn't care about heavy Metal that goes beyond normie mainstream. It's the only genre on the site that sounds the WORST out of them all. Without a doubt through experience it's the top of most difficult forms to produce. They will need a big dev team for this specifically even without the stem issues. All stems in any genre do not sound good. It's having issues with the other similar frequencies bleeding into each other. It's not going to be able to separate them with pristine clarity unless the song is very simple without much going on. I don't know how they could improve it without the generator writing each track separately like an artist does in production studios. I wish I were wrong and maybe soon I will be. I like your metal stem btw.

The last crash has cooked my account. I have several issues that did not exist before the AWS crash out/microsoft ending win10 support. I can't change song images, my tiny daily credits are no longer given to me, moving tracks, trashbin won't delete certain tracks and a slew of other issues with Suno. I can't upload my own song.

There's to much going on in Metal for Suno to handle. Garbled sewer pipe sounds with terrible frequencies is what I usually get. V5 seems to be doing way better but I'm not wasting credits on stems. Making covers over and over again of covers of covers while altering the prompt to refocus on certain elements produces pleasant results to avoid replication of stem generation.

the feature itself of "Get Full Song" does work, but it doesn't do as it says, instead it gets the full song, but the song is like 10 mins long, the first half is full song and the second half is the vocals in accappella then the instrumental played on its own. aka its broken.

Yesterday it seems I was the lucky one (wasn't for a while) and all songs turned out nice or amazing. But today "same lyrics, same prompts" outcome so far is trash one after another.

I know they got their capacity AI and sever wise but if they can't manage to offer the same quality to everyone who is paying for it is just not right. And it is clearly a luck thing if you managed to get a good spot system-wise.
Feels more like a Gacha game than making music at many times.

Honestly this is getting old and tired. One day everything is fine and perfect and today all songs are a mess, totally weird instrumentals nothing makes sense. I mean can they just do it right for once and keep it that way as it was on a good day instead of messing it up AGAIN. It seems if they try to fix something they ruin even more each time.

I understand that metal is a bit complex, so is Jazz, Fusion and some DnB, even Rock. so if you can't get that right....then this whole thing is pointless.
If I worked at Suno, we'd have a team literally made to just work on stem seperation (4 engineers is all i'd need).
it absolutely CAN be done. 100% and done well. Ableton 12 Pro proves it. but how many people want to spend 750.00 on a DAW for a hobby?

you are literally rolling the dice, which is why the prompt makes a great song one day and garbage the next, it has nothing to do with the prompt, its the "engine" behind it. sometimes we get a good roll, sometimes not. AI engines for music, art, video creation are not at the level yet where we can customize it down to the note(music) or pixel(art) and have it constantly produce the same result or variant with most of the same features. It just doesn't work that way now...I think in 4yrs, if the AI bubble doesn't burst by then ...cause that's coming. We should that 1:1 ability.

I've been seeing female vocals sneaking into songs that are marked MALE and even have MALE VOCAL in the lyrics...I think the team is working on stuff on the backend and committing things without locally checking. that's the only thing I can think of.

They can't even manage to makes this thing work at a good working level for a couple of days at all. If you are lucky you might get 1-2 good days a week if you work on songs everyday. I do not get this mindset of "NEW, NEW, NEW!" all the time if the Base is still a mess. Instead of working on the real important stuff like styles(genres), personas, and consistencies they waste resources and time on stuff either no one ask for or is simple not a priority at all. It is like if you try to cure a patient but without having a fully Doctors licence but instead of studying they open up another Hospital with untrained doctors.

I've had more success than that my friend. I've made a LOT of music using Suno since I started and most of the album tracks are all made in one week, then I go in and remaster, get the stems and use the horrible stems as best as I can to master them in Ableton Standard 12. using NI and Waves plug ins. its the only way to really clean the horrible stems we get. MIDI is also useless, it spits out junk.https://musiclabs.bandcamp.com/ this whole catalog except for Pimp X has used AI to make music. Geezah takes songs I never finished and loops I made years ago and Suno completed the songs. the rest is AI.

Creating a v5 song with an old-version persona is likely to generate songs that end abruptly (even if they are shorter than the limit of the v5 songs).

I get the best results using BOTH selection "Male" in the Advanced section and including "male vocals" or "female vocals", often with the specific type of vocals, for instance "exotic whispered female vocals". When using both, there is a 90% to get the desired gender.

Have the same issue with japanese. It makes no sense. YOu have the correct lyrics but it makes wrong pronunciations or even sings a totally wrong word. Happens a lot with Rock music. Not so much of an issue with pop music and slow music.

I have a perfect song except that it didn't play the whole outro and instead repeated from verse 1.
I tried to extend to finish it from the final verse to include the outro but that didn't work (10x plus 2-3 second failed extends)
So I thought I was doing something wrong so I literally went into edit mode and cut off the song at the point before it repeats and extended with the outro.. not one single extend worked every single one was a failed 3 second credits refunded issue. And I'm convinced I'm not actually getting all of those refunds or else my credits would be the same and it is less.
I have tried all the tricks for the extend, I am leaving the sliders alone, I am moving the time back a bit and nothing is working.

Asking for a piece performed by a solo instrument, within any given genre, usually results in the instruction being ignored and other instruments commonly used in that genre being introduced (even if they're specifically excluded)
Direct and specific instructions ("not X", "only X" or similar) should ALWAYS outweigh the model's assumptions about what belongs in a specific genre. Assumptions and genre conventions are obviously necessary to some extent as a guide, but specific and direct user instructions should always override them
The exclusion "feature" shouldn't be there at all, if you aren't going to make it work. I've been reporting this exact issue about prompt instructions being ignored for months and there doesn't appear to have been any improvement in any model's ability to follow instructions

Steps to reproduce:

1. Select only the specific lyric line in Edit Lyrics mode.
2. Press “Edit” and modify that line.
3. After saving, the wrong section (Hook/Chorus) is changed instead.

Something about this style prompt made suno wig out. I had 4 generations in a row that started with the words "Time signature" despite these words not being found in the lyrics or meta instructions anywhere. The problem persisted until I changed the formatting of the style prompt to a CSV list.

In this case the 4 separate lines at the bottom where one of them contains "Time Signature" are short lines with a few words on them. It likely works better as a comma-separated list on the same line as that won't look like lyrics.

1. The paging does not seem to work. I show 79 songs in one workspace, but only about 20 on a page. When I try to click to the next page, nothing happens.

I’ve been using Suno V5 for about 10 days and have created over 150 tracks (mainly Viking-industrial techno and metal). The earlier generations were fairly clean and usable, but the most recent 50–70 songs are all unusable, no matter how I write or adjust my prompts.

Current issues across nearly every new track:

Harsh metallic ringing and “air-escaping” hiss in the mix
Scratchy and crackling noises, especially in drums and highs
Over-compression and clipping — boxy, distorted drums and bass
Sudden volume jumps or drops mid-song
Vocals glitching, hiccupping, or saying wrong words
Muffled tone — as if the sound is coming through a box covered by towels
Overall muddy, unstable mix — distorted lows, brittle highs, and no clear depth

I’ve tried dozens of prompt variations and explicitly requested clean or controlled sound design, but the same problems appear every time.
It seems like a recent model or mix-engine change introduced these issues.

Could you please confirm if an update was made, and whether there’s a way to access a previous cleaner model or a “cinematic / clean” mix mode to avoid this distortion and muffled sound?

I love using Suno and have produced some great tracks before, but the latest 50–70 generations all have these severe audio problems. Any information or fix would be greatly appreciated.

The multiple languages might be due to you possibly using a VPN? Perhaps Suno's site sees your post coming from a different part of the world, then switches to that region's language? Failing that, much of these issues seem related to system overload (which would explain the boolean toggle of "good days" and "bad days".) Heavy server load likely causes existing systemic issues to further degrade in unpredictable ways?

Anyway, there are always issues—either weird background noises, mispronounced lyrics, or missing lines. What’s more, the lyrics in the parentheses () are always slurred. The web page is "responsive", meaning that it tries to adapt to your screen size. Using the "inspect" debugger I found that the "library" page removes the "card" on my laptop (Chrome) when the window is less than 1024px wide (about 818px height). On the Create page, that you seem to use, the card disappears already at 1400px width. So first I suggest you try the Library page (https://suno.com/me) to see if that's better, in full screen and 100% zoom. Your screen capture doesn't look too cramped, but maybe you're not on wide screen.
You can close the left pane (arrow next to Suno logo) and resize the panes (dragging), but as far as I could see, the added room does not help, they just look at the screen width. If this is the problem, it's also expected to work the same in all browsers, unfortunately. Try a larger screen if you have, but if not, might need to hack the page or override screen size from browser. In Chrome you can set it in the "device tool bar". If you get the card back, you're in "by design" territory, but could be something for developers to look into. When you confirmed the problem, you can look for workaround and see if wasting space on the cards is important or not. Good luck.

Hitting what seems like a bug.. I generated about 15 versions of a bridge using 'extend' by dragging a section from suno studio into the left column. Worked great, always flowed off the ending point of the audio.
Then, later, i exported from my DAW the verse, chorus, and start of the bridge (roughly same ending as I had done in studio studio). Put that into the left column (the normal suno area), put it in extend mode. Made sure the lyrics match up with what i want in the extension. Set all the advanced sliders to the same settings i used before. Same style references. Everything, identical except the audio isn't from suno studio anymore.
Everything i generate acts like its in cover mode rather than extend. Really bizzare. I blew 10 generations trying it.
Then, i just bounced the same area out of suno studio like I had initially, same settings, and that works great.

Yes, there are reports of that it's too sensitive. A single word that's also a bandname or so, coiuld trigger it. I didn't understand if the "also" part was a second problem or the same, but if you can compare to the previous version maybe you can figure out what the offending change was.

Does it play back at different length/speed, or is it just showing the wrong length? I think you should report that in the Suno interface. We can try to figure out some more info first if you like. Looks like you export to mp3, don't you want the stems as WAV? Is the same file showing different length in different programs, or are the different files showing different? What do you see if you right click the file in Windows explorer and select properties, then details tab? For an mp3, the datarate, sample rate, bit rate and size relates to the length, but it's not so easy for an mp3 if it has variable bitrate. The info could help the developers find out the problem though. In studio there's also a tempo selection, so the "same song" can change length withing studio just by that setting. Maybe the stem export output the raw data, rather than the stretched one, in your case. What happens if you upload one of the files to Suno again, what will it say about length and tempo of that clip?

Edit: I used Studio, the "export multitracks" gives WAV, but "extract stems, download" apparently makes mp3. In the latter case, can see that each stem has different size, depending on content, but they all show the same time length. I didn't try VNC. The detailed metadata didn't tell me anything obvious, but then again my files didn't show the problem.

I just found there's a new feature about stems, that might relate to your problem and the tempo difference I mentioned. I haven't found where the "lock" setting might be though.

There a big issues with personas at the moment, whenever I use one to create or cover a song, the song always cuts off before the end. I'd estimate around 30 seconds or so before the actual end.

What span of length are you on? 5 min or 2 min? What happens if you first extend the track with 30 s garbage, will it reach the full song then? I've read that "memory" is a "problem" in the model, and "source audio" needed for the cover feature, and additional audio from the persona, fills up that memory and leaves little room for the actual output. Perhaps you can start with a shorter song and extend, or two parts that you glue together.

PS. The pinned comment here says that model problems aren't "bugs". While I agree in principle, they should make sure to help the users understand how things work. E.g. give a warning when the "memory" is not enough to keep the prompts.

I don't usually have problems with personas. It has happened on the odd occasion before. but it's rare. In fact my usual workflow is to generate a song without personas first and then cover it with one after I get a song I like.
Today for example, I tried covering a song that was originally 4:19 with a persona. Both generations cut off at 3:45 right at the end of the final chorus. Just clean cut, mid line. I wanted to check if the issue was just with covers so made a song from scratch, but using a persona. Both generations cut off at exactly 4:43, both mid line towards the end of the song

I see, I'm just a user so maybe I shouldn't try to help debug this, but it's useful to see that you're not towards 8 min, but also not in a safer < 2min range. 4+ min is a decent output in my book, although I understand that you expected the full song in this case... Did you use the same persona both times? How long is the song/prompt in there? Maybe you can get the same "persona" with a short source clip? (No idea if it would help, but an interesting experiment to see if "shorter" personas allow longer output.)

Generative AI is much of black box (or black magic if you will), so not deterministic neccessarily. The two output from one run could be more alike than what you get if you rerun the same exact again. I'm not sure how often they change stuff in the model, and in the code around the model and prompt processing, but likely more often than their announcements. The "memory" might also be affected by the number of users currently online, so what worked recently may not be consistent either, unfortunately. It would be really nice if there were some official info on what we should expect. I can't find it now, but I think I saw one of the pinned posts saying "short generations is not a bug" without further explanations.

Appreciate the suggestions. I have tried with different personas and still encountering the same issue. I wasn't encountering the issue yesterday, and as I said, it's not something that I generally have a problem with. I've made longer songs, including covers, in recent days without any problems.
It seems likely that server load is a potential cause. This time of day is generally good for me, but I have noticed that during what may be considered high peak times, the quality of generation is much lower. Maybe it's just busy right now!

I don't remember what it was, but I read here in chat that some word like "reverb" or "echo" was banned. What I mean is that there are so many band names being proper words, like "Oasis", so it's hard to know if you accidentally include some. What if you clear the style prompt entirely, will it still complain then you know it's the lyrics. If you remove half of the lyrics until you get a pass, then you know the general section you removed is the problem. When you find the problem word or section, maybe it is enough to misspell or add some bracket instructions in there, to let it through.

PS. Note that I was just guessing, to help pinpoint the problem. In my case I've not tried personas much. In my experience it put to much of the persona song into the new song, not sure if I used it right, so I only used it once as a "close similarity cover". Maybe I didn't start from a second audio clip then, but just other lyrics. I might also confuse this with the "inspiration" feature, I don't really understand how they are different from basic "cover".

@sand depot Honestly at this point fixing misspelled lyrics in a song with Editor or Studio is stressful/unfulfilling and pointless as it could possible be. You have better chances getting a good version (slightly different) by Covering the song again and fixing those issues that way than using this crap of a studio. I wasted 150 credits only fixing two lines yesterady because the Ai does what it wants instead of following guidance. And I just tried the same again with another song and I am done with this Sh.t! I am so sick of it that 3/4 of Suno is not working as it should be.

If you get 1 good day a week managing getting a good spot in Suno, you are already lucky. Each day is like gambling in Gacha if you are lucky or not and in most cases you are not. This has nothing to do with prompting anymore but with pure luck, what spot you got in SUNO (like ping in online games) and how arbitrary decisions the AI is making because it does what it wants. With each day, each week I feel we have less and less influence and how the song turns out in the end. Literally all from Soundquality, Voice quality, prompt quality is a steady decline and inconsistent as it could be. I do not know what you guys are making in the background but you a ruining this platform with each freakin day a bit more. Because there is no logic anymore to anything if one and the same prompt generates great songs on one day and then absolut gibberish, low quality dog sh.t all the other days.

What I hear: constant hissing and air-leak sounds, a muffled quality like the mix is wrapped in cloth, a metallic ringing present in almost every track, loudness that drops and spikes unpredictably, crackling and scratching on vocals, abrupt cut-offs where songs stop mid-sound, and an overall loss of clarity and dynamic range.

These artifacts are not occasional glitches. They are present across the board and ruin otherwise good songs. I am asking you to prioritize stabilizing the sound engine and restoring / fixing basic audio quality before releasing new features or updates.

Using the new Cover feature, the system never creates a full length cover of my song. It's short by like 2+ minutes. If I try to Extend the Cover it generates, it always errors out after 2 seconds.

I'm having problems generating covers with 4.5 v. In some parts of the song it gets choppy. At first, I thought it might be because my browser was overloaded, causing the audio to cut out, but I tried again a few minutes later and it was the same. I thought it might be a server issue, so I stopped to avoid wasting credits and went to sleep. I just tried again and the problem persists. I downloaded the audio file to see if downloading it would fix the song, but it didn't.

I got a bug where all the songs I play from my Brave browser are sped up like Nightcore remixes with bad sound quality. After downloading it and listening to it on a player on the same device and lowering Brave browser. It stopped speeding up, but the moment I go back to Brave browser from minimize it speeds up everything even in the player. So I think it's a Brave issue. I'm gonna reinstall it. See if it works. Hopefully this helps future issues of this nature. - Fixed. The browser itself caused the issue.

One of the biggest issues with AI-generated tracks is that they often sound muddy, hissy, or unbalanced. I would qualify that my declaring I'm not a heavy metal fan so don't really try that genre very often, but I do many other genres.

Not sure if this is a Studio bug or not. Im trying to download individual instruments after generating them. Right clicking on the track gets a menu that includes Donwload.WAV. Donwloading seems to work, but the wav files are empty despite being 20 to 45 mg. Is this another broken Studio feature? I know I can download the tracks using Export/Multitrack but this has also left me with some empty tracks so I though I found a solution in downloading them individually 🙁 https://i.imgur.com/LtH5yER.png

Okay - it seems my mistake is that tracks were muted due to soloing tracks at some point. One would think that when you right click on a track and choose to download the wav file it would not matter if the track was muted, but apparently it does, and you end up downloading a full length piece of silence. Please fix this.

STUDIO exports are flawed: inside Studio everything sounds fine, but when I save as new song, the result sounds muddy. Seems like the individual track volumes are wrong, guitar and keyboard are too loud, etc.
Also, when exporting as multitrack, the resulting archive is broken. I have a zip with 25 tracks, 24 are fine, no. 17 has archive errors.

No matter how long I record — 30 seconds, 1 minute, or even 2 minutes — only the first 14.2 seconds are actually saved. When I hit Save, the file name and audio both show 14.2 seconds, and the rest of the recording just disappears.

It happens every single time, so it seems like a bug.

So I keep getting a song with a 30 sec start and then having it start the same thing again, and have it run for 30 seconds and never finish the songs. Additionally, v5 continues to ad-lib my written lyrics... the point of me writing them is for them to be sang that way. When it decides to go off script it almost always is for the worst: wrote "Pained Heart" Suno decides to change this the second time it says it to "Pained cart"... wtf

Today I've been getting fever dream music with Weirdness set to as low as 70%. Likes as if it was at 95% or so. From my experience I have to set Weirdness to at least 70% to get anything interesting, so this is a bit of a tightrope walk now... have it a bit too low and the result is very boring, then put it up a couple percent and get drug-fueled brain necrosis fever dream music that makes me feel like I'm having a stroke. Anyone else experiencing this? I'm trying to make ambient background music for video games, if that has anything to do with it

here's a sample configuration... 79% Weirdness shouldn't be too bad, yet now it leads to insane results very often. Here's the prompt if anyone wants to try:

I sent the email to [e-mail] following your guidelines, and in the #archived-ticket-help section. I didn't receive a response so I'm reporting the problem here too. I wanted to point out that the free acquisition of credits hasn't worked for a long time. The song rating that used to give 5 credits no longer works, and the 10 daily credits not arrive. Is it possible to solve this problem? It's not just my problem and it doesn't depend on the browser, I asked many and they all have the same problem.Please let me know if it is solvable because it is due to a bug or is it intentional? I have tried different browsers and different computers. I have tried other friends' accounts on their computers and they all have the same problem. It seems that for a few weeks now, what I have mentioned is no longer working. According to my screenshots, I should be receiving 50 free credits every day, but they never arrive. Creating replacements has serious bug. Only the first pair of creted replacements is shown. When I create another replacements they are shown in list at first, but while I listen them something just flips and all generations except first two vanish from list. This happens each time.

List of generations is user unfriendly. It is small and hard to use. Legacy editor has much better interface for them.

The biggest problems I see now in Suno (except for Studio) are these:

1. Many songs made with the same prompt in a row sound way too similar ! Often same voice, same melody, same intro.
   This was not the case before. Only with 4.5+ it started. And with 5.0 is worse
   It could be that it has to do with the weirdiness level to do. Maybe increasing that
   it would make the songs different, idk.

2. V5 still loses the rhythm making extend and cover a lotery.
   Lowering the weirdiness could make it better. I tried once and it seemed to help.
   But idk.

Ok, I’ve got to give my honest feedback again. I don’t know what changed recently, but the sound quality has become really bad. I’ve spent around 3500 credits and not a single track was usable. Please fix the sound, it’s the foundation of everything. It doesn’t matter how many new features or effects you add; if the audio engine doesn’t deliver clean, consistent quality, all the extras are useless.

Another major issue: the song length in prompts keeps getting ignored. Even when I clearly specify “6–7 minutes,” most songs are only 2–3 minutes long. It feels like the prompts aren’t being followed anymore, as if Suno just generates something random regardless of what’s written.

I really love Suno and want it to succeed, but right now the audio quality, timing, and responsiveness to prompts need serious attention.

For now, I’ve gone back to using other AI studios that still produce clean, stable sound until these bugs are fixed. I’ll return once the core quality and reliability are restored.

All the recent “covers” with %100 audio influence gives bloated results. Historically I was getting results about %50 with the same length of the initial song. It is as if Suno is trying to fit the song to a “traditional” length, messing up with the mixability of the original stem. If it helps, it is on iPad browser (as IOS still does not have the audio influence slider). On a couple of songs, reported the issue as bug.

The issue arose when I followed Suno’s prompt suggestion to include the keyword “lo-fi” in my project. Since the suggestion appeared directly in the prompt input interface, I assumed it was fully supported. However, every generation that included “lo-fi” resulted in noticeably degraded audio quality — with distortion, background noise, and an overall muffled texture — even after multiple adjustments and re-renders.

I’m a Pro subscriber from United Kingdom (UK) and have been using Suno mainly to create remix and cover songs in Indian languages (Telugu and Hindi). However, over the past 4–5 days, I’ve noticed a major drop in music quality across all model versions, including the new V5. The songs generated are now often unusable and unpleasant to listen to.

Issues I’m consistently facing:

Glitches and audio artifacts in both music and vocals.

Music sections abruptly jumping (skipping to the end, then restarting).

Overall loss of clarity, rhythm, and consistency.

I have been using the Report feature to flag every low-quality or glitched output, but it feels like those reports go unnoticed. Whenever I raise this issue here, I’m asked for “evidence”, but since I delete or dislike reported songs, retrieving them again becomes time-consuming. Even after sharing examples in the past, no visible improvement has occurred.

As a paying customer, this is extremely frustrating. I’ve wasted valuable time and credits trying to get usable results. If there’s a known degradation in quality, it would be fair to notify all paid users in advance so we can plan accordingly and avoid wasting credits.

Frankly, it’s starting to feel like a deliberate pattern — occasionally generating great songs to keep users hooked, then pushing out poor-quality outputs that burn through credits. If this is not the case, please maintain transparency and reassure users about what’s happening.

All I ask for is honesty and consistency. Please treat paying users with respect, communicate openly, and ensure reliable performance. Suno has huge potential, but trust and quality are what will keep users loyal — not hype or randomness.

I don't know why there's even a "Persona" option when 95% of the time the AI will perform the song, then glitch out, then restart at a random point in the song. It does it every time as well. I've literally burned through thousands of credits now trying to settle on a version that doesn't have unfixable issues in it rather than a version that I like.

I'm also very careful in how I write my song being very descriptive on [chorus], [hook], [verse], and [bridge].

The latest issue is with the editing software, where I finally got the persona to work but it completely skipped the [bridge], so I went into the editor and added a bridge and the only thing it did was extend the trumpet solo instead of adding lyricsevery single time.

This wouldn't be a huge issue if your credits were actually refunded if the AI left your song unusable, but there isn't so now I'm spending quite a bit on broken, unusable songs.

I've reported this several times and no one responds, they don't respond via email and they don't respond on discord. I use 4.5-all because I'm waiting to subscribe again given the ongoing problems I'm seeing on suno. On 4.5-all for about two weeks, the audio quality has dropped significantly. The audio is saturated and distorted. The music is done successfully but the output is reminiscent of the 3.5 (which by any stretch of the imagination was superior to the 4.5-all) as it is noisy. You can hear the background noise especially in the opening and closing stages, but in general it is throughout the song. Often the songs generated are similar to each other and the singer's voice is always the same. Furthermore, there are also problems with credits not being provided and the Earn Credits section has been disabled because it hasn't worked for over a month. Will they ever respond? Will they ever let us know anything?

Yeah, I’m experiencing the exact same thing.
Normally, when I email Suno about technical issues — even serious ones — they reply quite fast, usually within a day or two.
But since this whole wave of problems started, they’ve completely stopped replying, both by email and on Discord.

My personal theory (and I could be wrong) is that they simply don’t have a proper answer right now.
If the issue isn’t caused by a new internal update but rather by external factors like server-side resource allocation, then their support team probably can’t do much.

They can’t give an ETA on when things will get back to normal because they don’t control the servers directly — and if they were to acknowledge it, it would probably lead to a wave of refund requests, handled case by case.
So instead of giving half-answers, they’re just staying silent for now.

That’s just my opinion, but honestly, it fits with what we’re seeing.

I really hope I’m wrong about this — but honestly, I don’t think I am. Even if these issues are caused by an engine update, for example to move the V5 Pro version out of beta, the least they could do is inform their users. At $36 a month, we deserve some basic communication — not just flashy announcements about new studios or features. If there are going to be periods of instability or technical turbulence, they should warn us in advance or automatically refund the lost credits. Complete silence just isn’t acceptable when people are paying for what’s supposed to be a professional service.

You need to create a separate model for instrumentals. I’m convinced. It’s ridiculous that I spend almost 1000 credits, and every song has drums. I’ve explicitly stated this everywhere, and I even re-uploaded a stem without drums. It adds drums to the music, which is unbelievable.

Extend function doesn't work. Every time I extend it gives me 2-3 second no-sound track with credits refunded

You may have to change your Extend to back up to an earlier time, or use an alternative method like Replace to add a bit more length and then Extend from that instead. Basically Suno sometimes gets really stubborn about thinking "the song ends here" and you need to change the prompt enough to break out the pattern.

Well, I’m using 4.5 Pro too, and sometimes V5 — but most of the time I stick with 4.5 Pro.
And honestly, it’s the same for me: the results are terrible.
Even when I try a remaster with V5, it sometimes helps a bit, but overall the sound is still really bad — like old cassette quality, with harsh highs and weird artifacts.
The drums have no body, everything sounds flat and lifeless. It’s awful.

You’re right — there’s not much choice right now.
But downloading the stems every time costs quite a bit, and I don’t really want to burn through all my credits just for that.

Looks like sound quality dropped once again. All generations of last several days have completely dead, lifeless sound. Vocals became too harsh, and bodyless, like there is a negative EQ at 1kHz. Also music is way too loud very often. Music scene is no longer formed at all, you do not feel presence effect. Bass became unclear also. Maybe someone enjoy this kind of sound? But I want to admit - amount of hissing has reduced lately.

I don't get why Suno doing all those experiments with sound on a production service? Also, by changing equalization, adding or removing effects, dynamic range compression you can't please all. So, Suno either need to provide configurable sound profiles or just generate neutral sound with flat EQ and without dynamic range compression. This way, we could use our DAW to change sound for our pleasure if ever needed.

And one another thing - robotic vowels (especially in first verse) happens too often lately

Select the song the persona is based on
Enter name, and description - create an avatar
Set public to "no"
And then I click on SAVE and nothing happens!

I’m in France, and the sound quality has dropped drastically too.
I’ve been using Suno for a long time and I immediately noticed when something changed. The issue isn’t about prompts or creativity — it’s a massive drop in the audio rendering quality itself, as if the engine was suddenly running on weaker servers or lower bitrate settings.

My personal theory is that it’s connected to the recent rollout of Sora v2 in Asia (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam).
If server resources were reallocated to support that launch, it could easily explain why users in Europe are now getting unstable or downgraded performance.
That would make sense, because Suno (like many other AI platforms) relies on shared cloud infrastructure — mostly Microsoft Azure or AWS, which might currently be overloaded or reprioritized toward OpenAI and Sora.

In fact, the same performance drops have been observed across other platforms too — including Sora v1, ChatGPT, and Leonardo AI, at least here in France.
It seems like a widespread issue linked to a global reallocation of resources.

If that’s true, it’s not just a technical issue — it’s a matter of fairness.
Europe shouldn’t be paying full price for degraded access while resources are diverted elsewhere.
We just need transparency and a clear statement from the team, because pretending nothing is happening isn’t helping anyone.

But like I said, I think maybe they’re preparing version 6 of Suno —
although honestly, version 5 isn’t even properly finalized yet.
So maybe it’s just an update related to that… at least, that’s what I’m hoping for.

From my point of view though, all these issues, the poor-quality renders, the constant glitches,
started right when OpenAI began rolling out Sora 2 in Asian countries (Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, etc.).
And the timing matches perfectly.
As soon as Sora 2 started rolling out, everything else began acting up —
especially other platforms like Leonardo and even ChatGPT itself.
You can see the same symptoms everywhere: latency, strange outputs, misaligned responses,
things that used to be much more stable and precise before.

I really believe Microsoft Azure has reallocated a significant portion of its servers
to ensure that Sora 2 runs smoothly worldwide, at the expense of other services.
Because they all share the same cloud infrastructure,
and if I’m not mistaken, Suno also runs on Azure.

What’s also pretty telling is that normally, they reply within two or three days max.
Now they don’t respond at all.
I sent an email about a week ago just to ask what’s going on —
not even to ask for credit refunds or anything like that —
and still no reply.
I sent another message a few days later — still nothing.
And I know I’m not the only one noticing this.
Right now, they seem to be having a hard time replying to emails,
especially when it’s about quality or performance complaints.

The AWS outage affected services that didn't rely directly on AWS. With the way services are connected, you can have a site fail because one of the services it relies on relies on a service on a third server that went down/was DDOS'd.

I find that my generations mess up in the window after new credits drop for free users and users who have run out of credits for the month (midnight UTC) through a number of hours after that. Which speaks to me that people were waiting for new credits to drop, and the AI is overloaded by all the generation requests, thus acting glitchy. Outside of those hours, my generations work out fine, for the most part. I am in the US.

But even if that’s the case, it can still be affected indirectly by what’s happening with other major AI infrastructures.

The thing is, many AI platforms (including Suno, OpenAI, Leonardo, etc.) rely on shared GPU pipelines and interconnected services — storage, APIs, CDNs, DNS, and even third-party authentication layers.
So if one part of that global network slows down or gets reallocated (for example, to support massive workloads like Sora 2’s rollout in Asia), the effects can ripple through to other services running elsewhere.

In short, even if Suno isn’t on Azure, the global GPU demand and network congestion caused by big AI launches can still degrade audio rendering quality and stability across platforms.

every model is different, and every model, once in the hands of many more people, starts to shift. but, for example, if a user had been working in v3.5 for several months, they had to essentially retrain themselves on how to get the best results on v4 - same applies for 4.5 and v5. they all do very different things, and sometimes the way to get the best result is not how it was just a couple of weeks ago.

yes, as head of community support- i can verify, support is pretty backed up. we have people sending 4-10 new inquiries about the same topic... essentially making it look like there's 4-10x the work that there really should be. kind of sounds silly when you think of it that way, but we do have to parse through to ensure there isn't missing information somewhere, and that if multiple agents get assigned the work, the answer is unified. that's why our auto-reply has so much info in it 😅 we were previously down to less than 8 hours for reply times, and i expect to get there again soon, but there's admittedly plenty of digging to do.
