It's likely just a case of the client (your browser or app) not being synced with the server. It can sometimes take up to several seconds for them to sync. Maybe longer depending upon the network connection.

A refresh will pull the actual number from the server.

Seems to me that it occurs in reverbs. More like a softer more ringing sound like you had cards on your bike to get it to sound like a motor :P. Can't describe it better but it's there for sure.

V4 is buggy as hell 😦 I also wish they could add a proper Vocal extraction. Just generate a clean Acapella.

Having some trouble with Replace Section. it's giving me a good replacement, but when I confirm it, the full song is missing the 3-4 seconds after the replaced section. I made sure to mar 'make replacement the same length as original'. But while my original song was 3:14, the full song with replacement is 3:10.

I'm pretty sure that what's happening is that Suno is taking the time from the preview (which includes 2 seconds before and after the replacement section), and overwriting it with only the replacement section. The 2 seconds after is clearly getting deleted somewhere

There something wrong with the Credit counter. When you created songs the counter / credits stays the same (400). Only when you refresh the page the real amount of credits shows (390). So basiccaly i must refresh the page manualy every time to see how many credits i got left

Mispronounced words -- "Breath" [breth] being pronounced as "Breathe" [ breeth ] ... it's not every time, but enough that it's noticable. flagged a song as 'other' -- but no way to elaborate. This is a common word. fwiw -- I know the way to deal with more complex words is to spell them phonetically (I did this with Thor's hammer, Mjölnir -- which spelled out like "M'Yoll-near" works better)

I helped a mate @wary forge work out an issue of having old songs lyrics play through a new persona and revised lyrics. I repeated his delimma so it may be a bug or something I'm doing? (Such as pasting lyrics copied from old song in instead of typing?)

On iOS, I lost the ability to upload audio from my files app via browser like I was before updating Suno and iOS. These files are vioice memos that I “share” to the files app so they are m4a file. When trying to open, they are grayed out. This has impacted my workflow because I have to use the Suno iOS app to upload audio, the. Flip back over to the browser to create covers of it. I’d gladly use the iOS app to make covers, but the app functions differently than generating covers in a browser. iOS app always includes original audio and the goes into the cover. It’s also kind of a one-off. Usually I upload the audio, make a lot of edits to the lyrics and add meta tag…the I generate covers. So on mobile, I’m have to straddle both app and browser!

It has always been this way. Why do you need to use your vocals if you aren't using your vocals to induce the audio?

Here's the thing. If you're using vocals then the vocals are used as part of the generation in some form, even if they don't come out the end as the vocals that you hear and the actual vocal layer is modified tremendously.

Nonetheless, legally, it could be argued that the vocals used are part of that song, even if you can't hear it directly. Because it is because that's how AI works. The song would not sound as it does without the vocal layer included. Because somehow it's found its way in there.

It seems silly, but there's no way for them to discriminate between your vocals that you own and vocals that were recorded without permission. Even if you recorded them. For example, how can they confirm that two-party States requirements are met? How can they confirm that the recording is licensed to you or any of that? They can't. And so that is how it is. And probably how it's going to stay.

But really there's a hundred ways around of the problem that you were experiencing with this. Anyways, because if you're not using the vocals as part of what is generated , not per se but in so far as you don't care about how the vocals sound from your original.

Okay so that's A little bit different. And you can't just regenerate it from the original after modifying the original.

In this case, what I would probably suggest is to get it to generate something that's as close to this as you can get.

I'm not sure how it works compared to chirp, but if it considers vocals to be part of the instrument set, rather than a discrete element,

Try download the audio, and chop the intro music out, removing the vocals from the song itself, or maybe just get the stems,

And then download those upload them as a vocal free intro to the song you have there already you want to use as persona.

If you use the same style prompt, and you begin the music with the same music that it produced from the prior. It might make vocals that are very similar to the vocals from the one you can't use currently as a persona because it does pretty well to match the other instruments

That is how I would do it. And how I have done it for other reasons. To try and get it to generate the same vocal style

I was putting in the time point of where to extend, and I made it at a very early point but the audios sound the same because it had enough of the music to hear it. So the first part was the full. The second part was like 3 seconds, and the third part was full.

Because that is where I had initiated. The third part was 3 seconds into the second part. But since it was building from the same prompt and audio sequence, it had no trouble following along except when I made the whole song clearly

This will likely all be related. I've heard similar symptoms being experienced by people using fake Suno apps, so for some reason it seems your account may have been incorrectly flagged as using a fake app (this has happened for quite a few users so as long as you're just using the <suno.com> website there shouldn't be an issue in getting this resolved.)

During v4, this is what I did that caused some weird loophole of a song sharing its existence with another one that was covered from it. This means the original song was no longer able to be found in the library which caused !!!stress!!!

The Tale:
I had saved a random song's picture art to my computer while the song itself was still setting in my Suno library. Then I had uploaded that same picture and applied it to another song I was working with. This made the newly edited song not viewable in the library for some reason. Maybe because the picture art was never renamed? Luckily, I had previously made a cover of this phantom song which still referenced it.

So, in panic, I tried to make another cover of the original song, but instead it covered the "cover," hence sharing the original's existence. Then to make the original song more accessible, I once again went back to the *cover's * reference and added it to a playlist.

Replacing the cover art with a unique picture ended up being the fix for the original song to once again be found in the library.

OK.. so I've got an ugly bug... happening with both 3.5 and 4.0; I made a song, it was pretty good but I wanted to change the lyrics... no matter WHAT change I make to the lyrics, even if I change the style markers, the EXACT same song with EXACT same instrumentation, and the EXACT same OLD lyrics gets generated. The vocalist changes slightly, but everything else about the song is an exact copy of the first time the song generated. I'm not using Extend, I've tried hitting CLEAR and copying the lyrics back in and it still output the exact same song with the original lyrics.

The only way I could get the lyrics to change was to change the persona to a different one. Which DID give me different lyrics, but it started in the middle of the song two verses in...

I went so far as to dump all cached data and cookies... after logging back into Suno and pasting in my NEW lyrics it spit out the exact same old song with the old lyrics

Since the v4 update, I have been getting a lot of v3 songs when using v3.5. It's not just happening a few times, but a lot. Those credits are wasted.

Further, the interface has no way to report that issue on a track. Reporting is just for TOS violations, and the "other" category for bugs has no text field to tell you what the bug is.

So when it is "flagged for review", there is no way for the tester to know that's what it's flagged for. We have to hope they just "notice" that it's v3, but then how would they know we had v3.5 selected and that we did not intentionally select v3?

Sometimes it is one of the 2 tracks. Sometimes it is both of the 2 generated tracks.

An issue with the Replace feature. I haven't seen anyone else report this one. I have done a replace on a part of a song , then I have tried to do another replace on a different part of the song but it does not show the lyrics that are selected. On one occasion I could not even get it to do a replace as it never made the button available. That was on a song that I had cropped already. If I go back to the original without the replace and select the 2nd part I want replaced it has no issue. Seems to be if you edit it, then it doesn't want you to further edit it.
Just tried to do a 2nd replace and this time instead of the tow lines or so I selected it showed lyrics for 1 word and start of next one from 1.5 verses plus a chorus back. In all 18 lines behind.

This happened to me over and over with the same song yesterday. First I simply thought I am going crazy or I used the wrong extend to get whole song. But then it happened again. And then I made it right again and even went back to check that it was ok after every crop and extend I did. And when the song was finished and I had changed displayed lyrics and picture and the song was technically done, I listened to it after postning it to discord and AGAIN the section was changed... When this happens, it sometimes helps to ask another AI (e.g. chatgpt) what could be inappropriate/offensive about the lyrics. It seems to be one of the names that is causing this - you can spell it differently, but in a way that sounds the same, to work around this (and then edit the displayed lyrics after.)

Everyone seems to agree – the artifact problem is real and impossible to ignore. That strange electronic clicking, scraping or "swish" sound is everywhere and seems directly tied to the track's complexity and BPM:

Higher BPM = More artifacts: fast songs or complex instrumental layers? To forget. The artifacts are so bad that they can make the track almost inaudible.

Slower tempo tracks: The problem is less pronounced here, but is still noticeable during remasters, especially if there is any complexity in the arrangement.

I'm using Chrome browser on my iPad and the page freezes for several minutes when I tap "Reuse Prompt" or "Extend". Tapping the Create tab doesn't freeze up even though it looks like the same page. So there's a workaround at least. This started about 9 hours ago because it was working for me up until I went to bed then.

Just an update. It happens any time I pick the Persona I created in V4. If I switch the persona to a V3.5 persona and hit create the the new lyrics get followed precisely. Switching the persona back to the V4 persona and hitting Create then immediately goes back to using the old lyrics regardless of what changes were made. I've also discovered that if I hit Extend when using the V4 persona and start before the lyric change, then I can convince it to use the new lyrics... but then I get strange shifts in musical style, tempo, vocalist... basically it completely ignores what was in the song before the point where I extended from and proceeds like you'd made a completely new song (without the persona)

I've noticed an issue where V4 songs are halting generation at exactly 3m 14s instead of the advertised 4m max

Had a different issue using the Replace function yesterday. I had the same length selected and when I selected the replaced part, and it generated the song, it shortened the song by 4 seconds. That might not sound like a big problem but it shortened from the end of the replaced section losing a line and a half of the song that was not selected to be replaced. Then cut back in the middle of the line.
After I realised that had happened I tried doing it again and the same happened.

I've been consistently getting this error on both my desktop browser (Firefox) and my mobile browser (Chrome)

I notice it specifically when I open one of my playlists and click on a song, any action regardless of what it is.
Once I interact with an item in the list, it will give that error and I have to refresh.

Seems like it might be a preload cache issue or something as when I first load the playlist, it will load all the songs whereas after a refresh, it will force reload the list from server.

dont know what happened but suno creating very short songs - even using same setting as earlier i get 1/2 - 1/4 parts of songs, like 1 min, 2 min long, cutted half lyrics. very, very annoying, and just using credits without getting what i got a week ago if i compare. sb have idea what to do with it? in this way its just wasting credits last few: 1:06, 1:11, 1:47, 1:36 long song-pieces instead of a song - simply stopping it in middle of lyrics.
tried with different lyrics, uts the same.
please fix it, because in this way its useless and annoying and disappointing. earlier it cutted maybe 30% of songs in this way, now 100% cutted and useless. last ones duration (with longer lyrics):

I see the images here have the "SUNO" watermark over them. This happens if Suno have detected that an account may be using a fake Suno app or some other service that is accessing Suno in an unauthorized way - however, there are often false-positives that can also affect legitimate users. The majority of the time, when i upload a file song into my library, it recognizes songs without any lyrics as songs that are related to them and cannot make them public because of it. This might be just a personal issue, because of the genre of the song being a bit hard to read (it being j-core, techno, or hardstyle artcore). Okay so for everybody here I found a solution for the watermarking. If you use Microsoft Edge on Windows 10/11 (The newest stable release for consumers) it seems to alleviate any watermarking. Chrome and Firefox are iffy and seem to generate captchas everytime and work randomly. But Edge works evertime if you successfully complete the captcha. Cookie settings also impact water marking and browser apis and restrictions.

On linux the plain chromium open source browser might work with security settings turned down...but that's not guranteed and on mac try safari with security settings low for cookies and tracking.

I had a similar problem once, where I also got the message: A system error occurred. I managed to figure out what was wrong by checking the network tab in the browser devtools. Instead of the generic error message, I found this: {"detail": "Prompt too long."}

Btw, I encountered this issue with v3 generations when I maxed out the character limit, using around 3000/3000(input allows for that) characters for lyrics. So, it might be bug

I found an interesting bug.
When you put two language in the same sentence like (Japanese + English) it makes Suno Bug and it reads the Lyrics conditions which it's not suppose to.
Here is the example.

Splitting the V4 remasters of the V3 songs fail on certain remastered editions. I can't split vocals on these V4 remasters, regardless how many times i recreate the remaster of the same song.

While it's probably best practice, at least for consistency's sake, to stick with using square brackets and parentheses that way, there aren't really any hard rules when it comes to tag formatting. Much of it seems to be context dependent. I've found that Suno will be much more inclined to disregard any brackets, hash tags, etc... and sing/speak text when it's presented as natural language.

There's a bug I'm continuously encountering with replace section. The section I'm replacing is about 10 seconds long.
The recreated section comes out to 14 seconds.
Now, it helps that the replace function provides a preview for the before and after parts of the snippet I want to replace, but
the replacement snippet is giving 11 seconds to the before preview, 2 seconds for the replacement, and 1 second for the after preview.
I used about 30 credits trying to rectify the issue, but no matter how I place the snippet or how long I extend the snippet amount, it always gives an ungodly amount of time for the before preview. How do I work around this? Or is this just a common issue with replace section?

Trying to remaster a song but it has come up with the wrong lyrics 6 times straight now. I think the issue is that the wrong lyrics are a repeated verse that I changed using the replace feature. For some reason doing a cover of the version with the new verse is somehow pulling back the original lyrics that were there. Frustrating though as it's killing credits and not giving me the output it's sposed to.

If you haven't already, I would check your stanza arrangement while also checking them word for word. Sometimes doing edits and then "Get Whole Song" will leave duplicate stanzas that aren't supposed to be there...it's annoying.

You'll need to regenerate the video any time you make changes to the lyrics or cover. Note that discord caches the embedded videos, so if you've posted an earlier version ANYWHERE on discord (other servers, dms, etc), that will be the one that gets shown for... a while.

video regens fail A LOT. An error message will pop up when that happens, but only for a few seconds, so it's very easy to miss it, especially if you tab away while the video is being regenerated. I've sometimes had to do it 4 or 5 times to get it to stick and there have been some days where all attempts to regen the videos fail.

It says "Generating video" and then won't let you download the video for a while. Then, in about half a minute or a minute, it already gives the opportunity to download, without having to write anything else

A question asked many times by many, both on here and reddit. Older v2 songs are not possible to remake with v4 and cannot be extended, even when v2 is selected it doesnt work. Could you try holding the tap on "make persona" and slide finger into the pop-up to "plant" the pop-up from disappearing. Android sometimes will activate whatever is also under your original tap. So a split second before pop-up, you may be inadvertently tapping something under "make persona" which then makes the pop-up show up then disappear. Just a guess, but it's something I have to do on other tap maneuvers on my Android.

You may be referring to the dreaded Shimmer. 😬 It's everywhere. There are workarounds. Just take a peak into the v4-feedback thread. One way outside this site would be to download the stems and then put them back together with Audacity. There's an on site solution, too.

If I try to regenerate some 10-12 seconds from the start of the song, everything is re-generated and I get a 4 minute segment.
Selecting something creates an 8 minute output.

I think starting from 0 is breaking the generation.

I been noticing a sound appearing on my songs on the website since I upgraded to the pro plan and started using the new V4. The best way i can discribe the sound is like shacking metal that seems to company the bass, beat, or drums depending on the song. It's also vice versa. 😅 You could prompt in the Style Box male voice, male singer and so on and additionally in the Lyricx Bos [male voice] or [male singer] followed by the lyrics. It helped in my case. Sometimes it's the genre that makes the AI prefer a specific gender.

It's intended to combat fake Suno apps and websites that leech off of the official service. Accounts used by those services end up getting served these adverts so their users know that they aren't using the real thing.

HOWEVER: Certain things can cause legitimate accounts to be wrongly flagged. This can range from VPN usage, to billing-related issues.

I will second this. it used to be i'd click on the song in my chrome browser on my PC and the lyrics would show up, they hardly do now, its a crapshoot. sometimes they will and sometimes I have to click on the song title to open up a new tab in chrome.

Also the "Liked" sort in your library doesn't work properly. It will show all songs liked or otherwise and if you put in something like "Heavy Metal" from one of your songs styles and try to hit "Liked" it won't work.

Yeah, many generations are getting worse with blown out high frequencies and distortion that either begins with the song or gradually increases throughout.
When vocals are piled with stereo effects in a quieter instrumentation, it also makes the entire song sound like there is a thin layer of raspy ice all over mix.

This will be due to someone using that phrase as a producer tag - a signature soundbite that is used in certain genres of music, usually at the start of each song made by that producer. I expect that Suno want to prevent users from being able to forcibly generate these soundbites (e.g. so they can't pretend songs are made by those producers.) Presumably the audio training is accompanied by the text representing the tag, so spelling it wrongly may have less chance to generate the audio associated with the tag.

It's annoying, particularly as I've seen tags like "it's me again" and "you're dead".

That could end up terrifying as time goes on. Were will the line be? Those all sound like generic lyrics that could be in any song. At pray that Suno does not just start blocking more and more general lyrics like this, we will run out of words. I pray that they draw a line in the sand with this as I can see it getting out of hard pretty fast.

I get that it's easier to just block them to appease the party but you will get walked all over to block more and more.

After the end of the paid subscription, I cannot use the site. It refuses to generate even one track and writes that I have zero credits (we all know about 50 free credits per day, right?). And in the subscription management section I cannot cancel the Pro Plan in order to return to the Basic Plan, the site suggests me to wait for the end of the billing period (January 6). It turns out that before paid subscription I could use free credits, but after it ended, I can't. Anyone else who has never paid a cent at all can use them, but I can't.

Replacing Section Bug: After replacing a large section and working with the subsequent generated clip (replaced 30 second piece) Doing replace on the second section the AI becomes completely lost and tries to work off of a completely different song mapping than what is actually heard. IT claims lyrics are in a section they are not and then generates complete nonsense from this takign song in totally different driection and it isnt good. Also extending the resulting clip also yields nonsense except numbers are heard frequently int he generation. This is possibly stopped this song completely and it is a very good song that I want to finish so please address this as soon as time permits

the picture has a watermark this can be ignored, but the music appears, the sound watermark, affects the song's, you go listen to it to know. The beginning of the song, not I wrote the lyrics, is another added to the mess of sound

It's the voice over that introduces the ads for suno, how come it's in the song, I used it last song week and it doesn't have this problem? Can you help me reset my account back to default?

Yes, the song is fine, but wanted to replace the section noted above adding either spaces or punctuation so I can get it to re-sing the first part of the last chorus without relying on extending, as other than the way it sung the first part of the chorus, I like everything else, including how it ends. However, lyrics are still showing from second verse, even though I changed the section times. So thought there was a hiccup where what was sung was completely different from what is displayed to replace. I hope I'm making sense now?

Hi, this happened to me today too. Many of my original song audios can't be uploaded and are showing errors. I've already contacted Suno via email and am waiting for their response. If I think about it, is there a possibility that Suno detected my songs that I've already uploaded to Soundcloud and YouTube... should I delete them first? Can't I prove that those songs are my own creations.

I also just tried reuploading a sound clip that I previously uploaded, which is a few seconds of total silence (generated in Audacity so it's not even got any ambient/room noise) and this also gives the same error.
