i like your discord handle...toking and suno go well together. I just avoid using the credit features, and test them every few days to see if they got a fix.

Previously their content filter would smell out Cover songs as if they had lyrics.comn database on file and would stop a lot of cover song attempts. Now that is gone, but it seemed to nuke the persona/replace/cover features somehow

Bug: "Replace section" regenerate half of the song. Selected 30 sec, but it regenerated 2 min of the song and spoiled it. Replaced words beyond selected section. Changed music and voice. I have deleted tags that did not use and added extra characters in a word.

I found a little\ bug. When you hover the mouse cursor over non-playing track being played a little higher than the play button in the profile menu, the cursor begins to shake like crazy

Instrumental loses its spice unfort, and also hearing a fluttering in the instrumentals that at first is barely discernable but once you hear it, its all you can hear. IMO not happy with v4.0 atm

One of the issues I was having with V3.5 was after 5-6 mins or 4-6 extensions the song style would accumulate a harmonic resonance that would start infiltrating your vocals making it very difficult to not have the whole song overwhelmed. You could monkey with crops, style cleansing, etc... but it would become a wrestling match to minimize that tinny harmonic. V4 Remastering appears to greatly clean up that resonance at a cost. Either the subtle fluttering in the background music style crops up, or the instrumentals as a whole get de-spiced....

Hello Devs, I want to point out that if I do want to use V3.5 settings, my personas get locked to V4 automatically, I can't toggle it. So even though I switch to V3.5 before I hit create, picking a persona locks it to V4 when creating a song. Please fix it, I would like to use my original persona from V3.5 not locking it to v4.

I have a Cover song from v3.5 that refuses to Remaster. When I click Create > Remaster [v4], it pops up the green notification "Remastering clip..." and takes me to the Create page. However, nothing new is added to my Library, and the generation does not appear in the list on the Create page. I have tried on both my phone browser, and my desktop, both Chrome. Other remasters for my songs have all worked so far. Is this a limitation between Cover songs and Remasters? Or another bug entirely?

v4 wasn't ready for release. Still stuck at 200 max letters for style of Music, that's ridiculous. Also, the lyrics box still gets completely ignored when you extend a song. You wanted verse 3? No way, try having the chorus and hooks repeat on every extended clip you created, while all lyrics in the box are ignored completely. When will this be fixed? It's horrible.

It fills me with rage the way Suno extentions completely ignore what you write and just does whatever randomness it feels like. Why even have a lyrics box? It gets ignored either way.

Want to add a bit of an instrumental break between verses? Nope. v4 decided that it's best to have the same lyrics repeated over and over, ignoring my requests for instrument breaks. Why?

Working on my first v4 song that's not a remaster. It's a Disney style song with a Disney princess singer. Etc. Takes dozens more credits than it should because of the same problems that plagued previous models. As far as giving us results that stick closer to our lyrics box or to improve upon issues with subgenres or anything like that, zero improvement from v3 to v4. I'm talking ZERO IMPROVEMENT in key areas that determine how many credits we have to waste to get something remotely close to what we asked for.

Not sure this is on all platforms but on my browser the credits are not refreshing with use. Example I create a 10 credit generation and it still says I have 50 credits. However if I refresh the page it tells me the correct amount of 40, if that makes sense. It started after the maintenance just to put out there that this is a recent thing. I am very familiar with how much of a gatchapon gen AI is. But this goes beyond it. Once this is fixed a blanket point drop is well warranted, because compared to other beta features, this one's performance is well below standard.

It used to be able to recreate them using “get whole song” which would give them a time stamp but that doesn’t work anymore. They’re just untouchable. So, new issue, extending in v4 is a bear, it doesn’t remember where it is in the lyrics and attempt to blend AT ALL. If you are in the middle of a word you are borked. If you try to extend it from an earlier timestamp you better have the lyrics continue from there precisely because it absolutely will not make any attempt to continue a line, it will just stop dead and start over. It hasn’t acted this dumb since v2.

here is aa tip to help mitigate the shimmer, its actually a feedback loop, use this in exclude : Feedback, feedback loop, cross talk, reverb, "bass -1", instruments echo, -1, percussion reverberation, shimmer << this solvs my shimmer 95% of the time with other tweaks

v4 has me nearly convinced that if we had a 24/7 webcam on Suno HQ we would see a bunch of monkeys walking around in lab coats....

On a semi positive note, I did manage to produce a decent v4 song from scratch, but it took like 7x the credits as it normally would in v3.5.
Also the 5 credit per replacement segment generation has to be re-evaluated....5 credits x 100 times to get AI to fix a burp in the middle of a line of vocals seems steep. In all honesty, it is cheaper to fix issues with extend than to waste credits on replace segments. They cost the same and extend simply follows the prompts a lot more closely than any replace. Replace loves to replicate the very thing you are trying to get rid of.

And no one should spend a single credit on remastering v3.5 tracks.....the success rate is probably 10%, with 90% of generations making serious vocal track and instrument note changes. Remastering seems to be a mix of cover+persona. It uses same melody and generally same voice, but it will change notes, accents, and phrasing. Also it can seriously increase or decrease any kind of backup vocals

There is a very annoying sort of plate verb swarming through the whole song.. esp. when you put a bit of compression on it.. it's even worse... it needs to be fixed.. asap tbh.. Its actually horrible :-).. V4 sounds really good.. but this plate verb type of thing if i can call it that... ruins it tbh...

If it's intentional, please put up a warning or something (also I would not use it at all after that as it's quite hard to get fitting replacement and sometimes you need to replace several sections in an otherwise good song)

Audio quality in v4 is mostly amazing, but anything rock or metal styled will have high pitched glitch noises for me. I've generated tens of different covers and remasters, all of them have the same issue. Anything I can do about it? I feel like I'm wasting my credits now.

I would like to know if suno intends that the Cover and Persona feature are now restricted to v4 beta only. I saw an official post on twitter saying v4 beta is supposed to be purely additive and we should be able to continue to use v3.5 if we want to. However, it doesn't seem like we actually can choose to use v3.5 if we want access to Covers, Personas, or in some cases Extend. This feels like a bug to me, and I just would like some confirmation either that it's intended behavior or if it's a bug that will be fixed.

this has nothing to do with the number of words. suno can generate a maximum of 4 minutes of song, depending on which prompts and other elements you have included, the song will be longer. after 4 minutes it's over, use the extend function to continue building that's no problem

A strange problem:

• I do remastering of a v3.5 track
• I generate a persona out of remastered track
  Now if I try to generate a track (the same definition for he track persona has been created from), the v4 generation repeatedly gets stuck and aborted.

If I remove the persona from definition, v4 generation runs normally.

Update: looks like failed songs are "invisible" and on my list: my "Create" page shows only 4 of actual tracks, the earlier one I can only access by listing Library

Tha's a VERY unpleasant Web version bug. I bet if I run two more attempts with that persona, my Create page will be completely hijacked by failed "invisible" songs, preventing me from creating any more.

I would appreciate the tech.support reacting to this one, as it can render the service unusable.

I am completely paralyzed on Suno's website, it will not let me create a new song. It spirals and spirals and spirals, like it's generating a song, but nothing happens, and eventually the generation just disappears.

But interestingly, the V4 remaster still works despite this issue. "Create a song feature" does not work

I’m experiencing a serious issue with my Suno account and hope someone can assist or guide me. Here’s the problem:

When I log in using my gmail, a new account is created instead of giving me access to my original account (@stratosphericremixer454).
I’m unable to locate my previously published songs or even find my old account in the public search.
I’ve already sent an email to [e-mail] two days ago but haven’t received a reply yet. My songs and account are very important to me, and I’m worried about losing access to them permanently.

If anyone has faced similar issues or knows how to resolve this, please let me know. I’d also appreciate it if a team member could escalate this issue to the appropriate department.

Lost Credits
I tried generating songs several times, but nothing was created, and I lost approximately 70 credits. After waiting for 30–40 minutes, the same song was generated repeatedly instead of the unique ones I requested.

Slow Generation
Currently, generating a song takes much longer than usual (30–40 minutes), whereas it used to take just a few seconds. This is causing significant delays and affecting my ability to use the platform.

For me, remastering in V4 generates immediately, but creating a song from scratch in V4 has so far consumed around 80/100 credits in vain because I have found the same song generated many times. The only way to speed things up for now is to create the song in 3.5 and then remaster it in V4, but that will end up using double the credits. I reported everything to support and asked for a refund of the excessive credits spent.

if you use your free one everyday and use you main bulk the day you ghet them that is

2500 credits a mont vs 10000 but you getthe 50 free a day, so two account is 5000 credits plus 100 a day, thats 30x100, another 3000, 2000 short of the 10000, but the system lets you make 18 extra songs if you are a paid subscriber. ie, if you are down to 10 credits, you can still make you max queue of 10 generations or 20 songs with those 10 credits, itrs been that way for months and they never fix it, so, that's 140 credits per pro acct a day, thats 280 for 2 pro accts, you are now getting more credits with 2 pro acct than one premiere acct for 10 bucks less. just saiyan, I've emailed ali telling him this too, nobody ever responds to me

Yes, I know, I don’t like using "Extend" myself, but I recently encountered this issue and spent a couple of days trying to figure out the cause of the error. I still don’t understand what the actual problem is, but I found a way to work around it.

This only happens with "Cover" or "Persona." However, in the case of "Cover," the last few times, even with the text cut at the end, it still created the full song, and I didn’t have to use "Extend."

Overall, I really like v4. A nice and much awaited for improvement.

However, I'm very frequently getting this strange echoing/vibrating noise that kind of messes up the music. It occurs both in fresh v4 generations as well as v4 remasters. It never happened in v3, but seems to be specific to v4. It seems to most frequently occur around a snare drum (though it can occur at other times and places). It occurs in a variety of very different styles of music. It does NOT occur through the entirety of the song. It can occur during both loud or soft parts.

I've compiled instances of this noise for you to listen to (and hopefully identify the issue). The compilation is portions of 4 different songs. I placed small silence gaps between instances within the same song, and larger gaps between each separate song. Some instances are short and some are longer.

I hope you can figure it out and eliminate this issue, as it occurs far too frequently and is really annoying and messes up an otherwise good rendering.

The most unpleasant nuisance is that v4 is he only version available ATM, so the service' most interesting capabilities are severely crippled right now.

In the majority of the recent cases of this bug, it's due to text in the lyrics or style section being flagged by Suno. Suno used to throw up an error message explaining the issue, but it seems like their error messages are bugged out, so now the renders just hang. You can test this by doing a very simple prompt - put "Flamenco Guitar" in the style and "I like cheese!" in the lyrics. If that renders, you'll need to check through your text. If it still fails, it's something else and your best bet is to contact [e-mail]

1. First chorus is fine, subsequent choruses have duplicated words. No matter how many times I continue a song or where I continue it from, this is unavoidable, and "replace section" cannot fix it.
2. Replace Section feature if done near the beginning of a song before the vocals enter, completely changes the voice of the song. This didn't happen in v3.5.
3. Replace Section is introducing audio garbage into the song at the start (and sometimes end) of the replaced section. v3.5 was seamless in this regard.

It is a bug because a lot of innocent people like me are or were affected. I've never used VPN or any music generating app and I've been a paying customer since april.

I have writen MALE VOICE/VOCAL everywhere. Tried a different song and always got a FEMALE tinny voice. 3.5 seems to have degraded over night. 😬

After failing four songs, I added [male voice] to the lyrics but it still provided tinny sounding female vocals and poor sound. It's really bad. Sounds even worse than the worst I had on V3.

Bugs:

Sometimes, the site hides V4 and uses V3.5 instead, which is very strange. On other occasions, it shows V3 in green, passing as V4.

Another issue: my songs always end exactly at 3:14 on V4, and honestly, I don’t know what’s happening. I took a break to see if it would return to normal.

I went back to V3.5, but in some cases it generated one 3.5 version and the second one was not 3.5 as usually but V3.

A bit of a feedback here.

I've been using suno since 2.0. And the music i make with it is always deliberately distorted, glitchy, noisy and "broken" sounding

I do this on purpose, i've figured out a workflow that maximizes the AI artifacting, and makes the songs less "regular" compared to more mainstream music.

With 4.0 this got MUCH MUCH harder. The model practically refuses to make anything "broken" or "ugly". But broken and ugly is exactly what i want. This started to get harder in v3.0. And with 4.0 it's exceptionally hard to make it generate that.

I'm not sure how you would go about training your models to allow that kind of avantgarde freedom. But i'd like to let it be known that it's a sought after "feature" of the AI models.

There seems to be a bug in replacing sections. I can successfully replace one section in a song, but when I follow the same workflow with the now-edited 'whole song' it no longer recognizes lyrics, and even when I put the correct lyrics into the section to be replaced it creates only garbled nonsense words. I asked about this in the technical questions channel and a second person at least is having the same problem.

@prisma pilot @split bloom A workaround for this: As far as I'm aware it only locks you to v4 if you're subscribed, in which case you also have access to the crop feature - if you crop your upload but select the whole thing, essentially it'll just create a copy of your upload, but one you can extend with v3.5

This happened to me twice. A full song that didn’t have a like was not showing on the search even if the liked button was not selected. I had to find the song by searching tab by tab, liking it. Then refreshing the search screen and searching again.

Current workaround for this is to crop the upload, but selectt the whole clip so you basically aren't really cropping any of it - this clones the clip in a way that lets you extend it with v3.5

Trying to find experiences here with v4 issues regarding drifting of bass lines and chord progressions when remastering v3 songs but i either overlooked them or they are not here. But i have quite a few complex generation with large choirs doing complex chords where the remaster tool has a hard time to keep the fundaments of the song in tact and starts drifting with irregular bass note progressions or irregular strange jumpy chord progressions but even songs that only have one singer but for instance two string instruments like harp and guitar where the incoherent jumpy chord progressions happens. They ruin the complete remaster with it. If it just was for one result than it would not matter, but these song never turn out right regardless how many remaster attempts I apply to them so i more or less am wasting credits.
Would it perhaps be an idea to have the full song analyzed and try to find the common sections, learn what is passing by on a larger portion of the to be processed area than just processing per 100ms? I can understand processing 100ms samples makes the remaster process quick but also very dirty.

but damnnnn you Suno. I have a 4.0 song with persona, so it stops at about 3:20 as usual. (will this ever be fixed?) I extend 2 minutes just for the ending but it makes it longer. I can't crop or I get that bug that makes the song invisible. I extend just with [end] and it keeps shooting 2 minutes. Only the song always ends at a certain point and then the music starts again. And I can't crop! and I can't use v3 or the sound changes! I have TONS of songs i can't crop

BUG: The replace section feature flat out doesn't work when you're trying to fix the chorus. I tried over-and-over again and 100% of the time I can't get it to budge. If it sings the lyrics are wrong to begin with, it won't change them.

Yeah. Do not put lyrics in the box if you haven't saved them anywhere else. The prompts, too. 😁 Since yesterday I have to refresh before almost every creation. But it's no problem as I have docs containing lyrics and prompts. But it's tedious to have to fill the boxes several times until a creation goes through.

Don't know if it is a bug. But 3.5 consistently changes the vocal prompts. Since yesterday I get female vocals when male are prompted and vice versa. 😅

This is the growing pains that will take a chunk of time to sort. Best thing you can do is thumbs down and report bug for now or pause your subscription and wait until the model is better.

Its weird that I havent once gotten the shimmer with V4 nor the awful rattling people mentioned. The main issues for me are:

1. Like 1 out of 20 generations will actually follow my lyrics in order, even if short! And those often will be the ones that the instruments are more boring or weird. 😭

2. Ive noticed v4 (in its current state) is far worse at following tag-cues in the lyrics like "[Soulful Verse]" "[Trumpet Interlude]" just flat out ignores those large majority of time except for very simple [chrous], [Intro] and [Finish] tags.

3. Replace section is just entirely busted and too credit expensive to help rate thumbs up/down to help them sort through that 😅 which is so sad because I have a V4 song I am in love with but way too many weirdly mispronounced words. Like I type "brighter" and AI pronounces "Glimmerers" 🤨

4.(And for me getting 3.5 back, seems worse than it was before V4 rollout but I know others are having success with it again so not sure what I am doing wrong there.)

But as they announced: This will take time and we all have solidarity with eachother in dealing with V4's temperamental wild child phase. We can either suffer through and help it along to get better, or disconnect and wait while others do the dirty work 😂
