yeah, I mean obviously it's the same track, what I mean is that if you accidentally add a track twice you can't even reverse this as they all go awawy from the playlist if you remove one

and thanks to the awful mechanics of adding several tracks (most tracks get "selected" once clicked and NOT de-selected once another one is clicked), you often end up erroneously adding multiple tracks

Nice work getting profiles up 🙂 It seems a bit buggy at the moment, I've had a gateway timeout, random page reloads. The error / crash that happens when I turn my phone sideways on Android chrome seems to be fixed. However I have had it appear once on my desktop linux running firefox and that had never happened before. Also after the database upgrade I had a bunch of stuff from my library added to my main playlist (I actually think this happened the last time there was an upgrade too). Just adding these notes here so you guys can patch it up; not nagging or complaining because so far it's good progress at a steady speed.

There was an update to the front end that when you click "Extend", it refreshes the song list. This is a problem for keeping songs straight when working in multiple tabs at once.

For instance, if you're working on a metal track called "Venemous Heart" in one tab, you were able to keep it separate from your country-rap song "Backwoodz Bluntz".

Unless you refreshed, you would only see the songs that you made in that tab. It was easy.
Now, hitting "Extend" refreshes the list and it's harder to keep the different generations separate. It also sometimes deletes the data in our input fields. So we're really lost.

If you were trying to slow down generations, good job. It worked. And frustrated end users.
If you were trying to make things easier for the end user, pretty big failure.

In the song description, individuals' names will likely not have any impact on the result anyway so there's no reason to put his name in the song description. Unless you're referring to the lyrics box?

Artist names in the description is likely going to trigger potential copyright issues which is why it won't generate (Jaden Smith in this case probably)

Yeah my lo-fi gens have been getting shorter when I try to extend them as well. I might get lucky every now and then and get it to generate more than 30 seconds on the continuation. I've also been having the it tries to end early before the clip fully plays out so I've been having to generate a few continuations afterwards to get even a good minute or longer at a time.

I have the basic free account and i just looked and saw i have 540 credits randomly, if i make a song (it generates 2 im not sure if its notmal, i just started working with suno a few days ago on and off.) It will take the 10 credits (for both songs.) But if i refresh the page my credits also refresh to 540.

It's a common quirk with the AI, it'll sometimes want to repeat lines or in some cases return to a line earlier in the song. As far as I know it's random and there's no way to invoke or avoid it.

In the personal create interface(maybe more), the Toggle function for the 👍 button in the work list seems to have some BUG. If the clicking frequency is too fast(occasionally appear), it caused the following effects: (Windows + Chrome):

• The 👍 event (occasionally becomes temporarily ineffective once), and causes a window layout(width) change, eg: 1:6:1 => 2:4:2
• The 👍 event (may also occasionally trigger ▶play/pause)

• The conditions for UI layout changes (possibly, the image preview on the right is "None" after each page refresh), after clicking on the like button, the image will be loaded and displayed on the right side, causing layout changes (but if you click continuously, the first click may be on the 👍, the second click is very likely to accidentally hit the 👎)

• As for the 👍 triggering the ▶play, it's because the 👍Toggle event pierced through the mouse double click event to play music`

There is a bug that’s causing cutoffs of certain words from sentences in certain verses or the other sections of songs. It’s dropping them out unpredictably. It’s very annoying. They are spelt correctly but are cut off.

I'm sorry, this is a very promising tool, but the quality of sounds (especially in extending after first generation) have become so noisy, that songs longer than 2:00 minutes were MUCH better in V3a. Also the excessive usage of Choirs instead of one voice are very bad (also most noticable in extended versions). Is there any way to avoid the choirs appearing? I've tried so many things now... I hope these issues can be solved. I didn't notice this was happening in V3a.

Again, I'm very sorry to say but most generations are sounding like they have been recorded next to some Wind Turbine. I don't know what happened and I think you will be aware of this as well. I hope things get sorted out soon.

I’m on iPad. The new format for playlists has made them impossible to use. I have a big play button on top and nothing is selectable. Skipping lyrics is a persistent problem. The only real solution is to keep generating until it gives you what you want. Use the extend function from the middle of the song if you don't want to lose the beginning.

Hm yeah those seem like normal enough lyrics that it shouldn’t be skipping. Usually if it struggles to find a “flow” based off the syllables and pattern then it may end up skipping lines. But in this case it seems like something that shouldn’t trigger that.

Suno v3 bug: Sometimes when Downloading a song clip as an MP3 file from the Suno 'Create' screen (menu -> Download -> Audio) , the beginning part of the song is cut off a bit in the downloaded MP3 audio file as compared to when you play that same song clip in the player on the 'Create' screen. when you extend a song, it pulls from lyrics that are not actually in the song because of how it messes up the lyric file. lyric file usually always generates wrong (like a nightmare tbh) after extending a part. so after cutting multiple times and extending multiple parts - to get a coherent verse, pre, andchorus - when i try to do verse 2 and beyond it's putting all kinds of words in that have been left over from extended lyrics of previous cuts that aren't in the song anymore but are flooded in the lyric file and they shouldn't be in the lyric file to begin with

half the time it completely ignores my actual lyrical input im guessing cause of how many lyrics it already has filling up the file that aren't in the song

If you're getting error messages, it's not generating a song and won't be using credits up. If you're just not getting good results from the AI, that's still using power and computing time, costing the company money (which in turn costs users credits.) AI gets things wrong. I don't think you can code it to deliberately behave in the way you are describing and it would be pointless to do so. Annoying your customer base is not a good way to keep them subbed.

It was supposed to be just a backend update, but it's really causing me a lot of trouble. As a curious fact, before all this happened and the website crashed, it gave me errors when generating new creations, then after a while it started creating them all at once. I also reported from the suno website, Then generated songs started appearing that I didn't make and I reported it, but the credit was taken away. And after this, the website was saturated, had to log in again and zasss, credit at -500 and 0 available.

I checked the console and for me the network request to the api gave the response “prompt too long” but the error message just said an error occurred. So I shortened my lyrics and then it worked. You should probably display the actual reason for errors 👍

Morning team So I ran into a bug this morning where suno would generate the lyrics ( and they would be displayed in the output ) but the generated song would sing the song description rather than the generated lyrics. I tried troubleshooting (i.e refreshing the page and loging back in) but the next song that was generated had the same issue.

Now it's generating a song but the first lyrics is the song description 😂 The irony is that the song is about bugs in code 😂 potential easter egg?

It's currently not really usable because they broke it with the updates. Both style and lyrics don't matter what you put in, something completely different comes out. But personally I really doubt the so-called developers if they don't manage to simply fix these little bugs that make it impossible to use. I already said yesterday, these aren't big bugs, but they have a brutal impact and it's just annoying.

If i select the song on the right side to start playing from the 'extended from...' section, there's no way to delete it.

You can do it from the original song you have selected with the "..." but the "..." from the 'extended from' selection doesnt show a delete button. So you have to search through all your crap to delete it if you need to.

Highlight in the green area you can delete, highlighted in the red you cant.

On the library, sometimes the play button on a track doesn't work. If I go to the previous page of the libary, and then go forward again, usually the track will respond to the play button being pressed and will work.

I've Submitted this as a bug but thought I would get a wider audience on an Extend Issue. I've tried this a few dozen times and I've gotten different results with nothing really being optimal. I've got a great song and decided to add Verse 3 - So I extend the original from just before where Verse 3 begins (because it originally just repeated verse2 for verse 3) and yet Verse 3 is still the original song and the following chorus which isn't changed is in a completely different beat-paceing. I'd really like to be able to take the original and just replace all the lyrics with a replacement and keep the voices/pacing.

When it does work, it's usually with a terrible voice. If the voice is good, the lyrics are changed, if the voice is shit, it's fine. Not sure if it has already been reported, but through multiple uses of extend on custom lyric songs (along with changing the lyrics throughout) the built-in lyrics of the song are incorrect and just a mash-up of the various changes I made (with multiple repeats). This means I cannot use the video function and people see incorrect lyrics if I share.

I have to be honest, before the last update—which was supposed to be just a backend update—I managed to create some amazing songs using just a few credits, 2,500 credits for 7 songs, and I really enjoyed it. That's why I not only bought extra credits but also upgraded from the $10 premium plan to the $30 one. But after this last update, it’s become unusable. So much so, that I've taken a break and stopped using my credits. I'm going to leave my 8,000 credits untouched in hopes that things will at least return to how they were before this last update, which for me was the best experience I've had so far. But now, really... The lyrics don’t follow through, the timing changes, the key changes, it repeats phrases twice and sometimes three times; the main issue is with the extend feature, I seriously hope it gets fixed.

And we then we are asked to spend time here doing micro polls, and getting news about a new homepage -- while the important thing that brought us all here, the music, is ignored. We all understand stuff happens, so having someone with the company say something like, "Hey, we know there's a degrading sound issue, give us a couple of weeks to fix it." Then we know. Some of the outputs are still enjoyable, the problem is just that you can't continue them properly

Now, for the slow descent into the V3 ugly, go to https://Boles.radio and you'll see some playlists. I call that website the painful beginning of the end of the beginning of the end for V3. Lots of work just to get workable songs. "Boo Hoo Blues" is the song that made me cry "uncle" and give up. It's just awful degradation and it's in the Blues section of that page. So, I moved to the instrumental playlist on that same page, and those songs are okay, but not what V3A was.

As well, https://www.threads.net/@bolesbooks/post/C5v61v4uFdH is a hopeful example from yesterday, that then begins unison singing that nobody really wants on every single song. Not my lyrics. Auto lyrics from Suno. The beat is brassy and overfed. Glimmmers of what used to be but oh, a few weeks ago! So, now I'm just playing around and waiting for you to return the model to V3A.

When in a playlist full of songs, when I try to add a song to a different playlist, after I push "Add to playlist" the selection of the song will change, and if I click the new playlist, the song I previously selected will not be moved, instead, a different song below the chosen song will be moved.

You can tell it's happening by trying to do this, and before you add it to another playlist, you can see that a totally different song is now selected, it doesn't hapen every time, but it happens pretty often

I don't know if its a bug or user error, but when I try to extend a song with new lyrics, it will often cut off the first few verses of my new lyrics and instead start with the like, 2nd-4th verse.

I've tried changing the time of the song it extends from but it always cuts off some of the first few verses.

If this isn't a bug, the feature isn't intuitive on how to get it to sing all the new verses.

For instance this is the song, you can see it starts somewhere around the last line of the first new verse. It does this for all songs I keep trying to add lyrics too, not just stutery/weird songs

Yeah to my knowledge the "malformed" error sometimes happens when you use another language besides english for the prompt. Lyrics should be fine though.

Until they fix the bug you may want to just translate your prompt to english and try that. You should be able to keep the lyrics in Portuguese

When putting the song title in Portuguese, it ends up being generated in English. Wow, I pay for the platform and produce my content entirely in Portuguese. It is essential that this error is corrected, as the Brazilian community is vast and uses Suno a lot.

Since last week SUNO does not correctly recognize accents in non-English words. For example, the word “помнит” is correctly pronounced as "pOmneet". I capitalize the letter to show it a stressed vowel, but the model recognizes the word as “pomnEEt” 100+ times.

Problem with auto-generated lyrics - I've noticed that the lyrics are not being displayed as they had in the past (generally 4 lines) and are often not matching the section tags. Now, I'm getting 7 or more lines. Looks like the commas that were breaking up phrases within a line are now gone. But, that seems to be causing this issue. It's also done something similar with custom lyrics in some cases where the music isn't following my section tags. This might be a known bug, but it's been going on long enough that I wasn't sure it's been reported.

I don't know if this is a bug or intended: I've been using Suno for almost a month now and I've received exceptionally good songs that are unparalleled. The quality of the songs has been outstanding. However, yesterday I happened to watch a very popular streamer showcase Suno, and I was puzzled as to why he was receiving such poor quality songs. So, I decided to try it out myself today and generate new songs using old lyrics and music style descriptions.

All the songs now sound uniformly worse than with the previous version of V3. The voices used to sound so good before, as if recorded by a real singer, and now they sound robotic and artificial, as if taken from the text-to-speech version of Google Translate. Also, the generated main melody now sounds monotonous and devoid of creativity, with hardly any dynamics or emotionally intense parts to be found.

I noticed that the generation process is much faster now. Before, I sometimes waited 2 minutes until the first seconds of the song were playable. I would rather wait longer and get good songs than wait briefly and get bad ones... Currently, I'd rather not wait at all or use credits because the absolutely poor quality of the songs isn't worth it.
Each generation of the previous V3 version was actually enjoyable and satisfying to listen to in the end. It was fun to generate new pieces for days on end, even though there were certainly issues with not always following the lyrics accurately or requiring many generations to expand a song to satisfaction.

Even though this is harsh criticism of the current version, I'm writing this in direct comparison to the previous version, when Suno had significant issues with high demand. Overall, it's an impressive feat for the developers to realize this generative music AI, but in direct comparison, the quality has decreased so much that I'm unfortunately canceling my subscription and hoping that V3 Alpha returns.

I hope for an official statement on this matter (or a link if I've missed it) and an option to switch between the V3 Alpha and the current V3 models, even if it requires more resources, takes longer, and possibly incurs additional costs for the user

I have a question that I was initially hesitant to ask, but things are starting to seem suspicious to me. I've generated about 10,000 pages of content on SunoAI. Having been a music producer for over 13 years, I can quite accurately assess and describe the quality of a music piece, and this is not limited just to the technical aspects of sound.

As luck would have it, I clicked 'generate' just moments before the Suno website went offline due to technical issues. I had written off the clip, but it was still created during the offline phase.

Let me tell you, this clip is by far the best quality of all the clips I have created before and since on Suno. Not only in terms of the variability of the sound but also the frequency spectrum is impressive. And this voluminous synth sound, it's very reminiscent of high-quality plugins like Nexus by ReFx. Overall, there are no white noise-like sound errors or noises in the entire clip. The clip is completely clean.
There's a real reverb and delay effect without any interference noise.

Now for my questions:

Is the quality deliberately throttled back and forth to motivate customers to buy more credits?
And if not,
it is obvious that there exists another model with a performance that is incomparable to V3.

What reasons could there be for withholding this from us?
I know there is no general entitlement, so the second question is purely one of interest.

Has the censorship filter being changed? Looks like many lyrics which were acceptable are now flagged for moderation. This new process seems to filter out accents and diacritics from the text, which may be the cause of the complaints about non-English language support being broken. By the way, it would be great if the system allowed you to make explicit songs, perhaps flagged as non-public or requiring a mature check to be listened.
