I don't use the A.I me much, I record my vocals outside of suno and import the WAV either using Add instrumental and work on it in the suno studio when required, or I import into the studio and make the stems that way, I do my best to preserve my vocals as best as possible, but obviously suno does polish them up sometimes too 🙂 id love to hear your songs when you sing them!

Its not accurate at all, but I've had luck with getting percussion to sound better this way. This was made because someone in here, a long while back, was complaining about instrumental layer separation so I figured I'd try to make something on it.

If you run this kind of stuff through 5.5, exclude vocals on the first run until you add lyrics. 5.5's hallucinations now include coherent vocals, so the unicode stuff can point to "sing" unless you exclude them on the first run

If the upload system is going to become this ridiculous, then you might as well remove it completely and let everyone use Suno without uploading anything.
The system has become so unreasonable that it is almost impossible to use. It even blocks a song that I created with Suno only two weeks ago. How can your system refuse an audio file that was generated on your own platform?
This makes absolutely no sense and has made the service unusable for my workflow.

Honestly, I think you should remove the upload feature completely so people can stop losing their minds trying to upload different files over and over again. At least then your position would be clear.
I really dont understand what the purpose of this system is anymore. I have been waiting for days for it to be fixed, but instead of improving, it has become even worse. Suno doesn't suck, they have issues just like every other single piece of software does.

Suno is growing, evolving and trying their best to have a solid and stable platform for its users.

Support is inundated not just because there's issues with uploads, accounts etc but because a user sends many tickets or emails and they must review every single email and ticket, then merge them into the same issue for the same person.

There's also the fact that there's millions of users. That's a crazy amount of people to support.

There isn't a tag embbeded in audio files that say "this is my song". Suno just recognizes it as an already existing work. If you are downloading something from one profile and uploading it to a new profile, that's unpermissible. If you are trying to compound on something, there shouldn't be a reason why Suno's already existing remix/sample/inspo features can't facilitate those needs.

The copyright issues should depend on the users, not Suno itself, Suno in my opinion should allow people remixing anything but whatever they do with that generated content should be their issue, which is also why remixes and everything is allowed on DAWs such as FL Studio etc, because they know that users themselves will get in trouble for using copyrighted material not the source itself. FYI Spotify, YouTube Music and all major music companies allow covers of songs. That's my debate honestly. One more thing I'd like to add is that Suno most likely made the copyright system more strict cause of Spotify announcing that they partnered up with Universal Studios to initiate AI Remixing of already existing songs on the platform as a paid add on thus giving the chance to the users to make some profit on it. At this point from my point of view Suno ruined the whole fun and experience for its users making this system. The system a few weeks ago was really fine and now its destroyed, stricting everyone from using it on its full potential and it really sucks cause Suno is the best AI Music Generating tool, it really listens to the sound you want it to generate if prompted correctly unlike other tools which i wont name. Lastly im not attacking anyone nor the company cause i really love using the platform which is also why ive been subscribed for months. This is just my take on the situation right now and my debate.

If that is the mindset, easy take away is suno is a competing product. You either buy it over the competitor's, or buy the competitor's product over Suno. Each have different practices and models that seperate each of them (good and bad). I have a different opinion on other platforms and what YTMusic and Spotify are doing, but in short, I don't agree with their ethics. Suno hasn't given me a reason to question their business model and the people working in Suno have been amazing in my interactions with them.

Buuuut if you take a look at Suno's competitors they actually allow licensed music cause they work the way my opinion is based on the Copyright Law. Only thing keeping them lower than Suno is that Suno is currently the best tool cause it actually listens to the sounds you prompt it to generate. Try that with other platforms and the sound it generates actually sucks (Tested btw)

The system a few weeks ago was not "fine". They (Suno) were finding accounts with dozens of copyright material that had been uploaded, and it wasnt just a few accounts. It was enough that they had to shift resources into mitigating what could well end up being another legal storm. If you dont understand the legal implications and ramifications of this for Suno, I suggest you make some effort to educate your self on copyright and DMCA.

I can't say that I have or have the desire to do so. I like to write lyrics and discover it's sound identity in the process. To that aim, Suno has given me the means to accomplish that goal, so I cannot speak to the quality design of other products simply because I have not had the need to explore other products. I can only attest to their ToS and current implications to the music production space, which seems predatory based on what is written and the feedback given by the artists who left those platforms because of them.
