awesome to see a drone system being made, loved Arma 3 for its 2035 setting (can understand why its not everyones cup of tea) so seeing some of that functionality through mods for Reforger and thus the Enfusion engine is great

Anyone had issues where the AI dosen't reload their weapons even if they have more mags?
Im using bacon M4's on some custom loadouts i loaded onto the AI with GM Persistent Loadouts, they run one mag dry then go to pistol, i have no AI mods enabled other than game master enhanced, the vanilla units reload fine when spawned with GM and i tried loading a loadout onto a AI using the Mk48 mod and he reloads fine.
hum I have used AI with the m4s and they seemed fine, I wonder if its specific to one type of mag only?
if you are using mags with AP can you try other mags? or even vanilla mags
I am using AP but i can grab some other types and try, I wonder if it might be something with the RHS vests? Since i just spawned a RHS Marine and he did the same. Will try to put in backpack aswell to bypass the vest if thats the issue

I see now that it is likely related to how close the opfor AI is the blufor AI, it seems that if they run out of bullets on their rifle when the enemy is within a certain range they will switch to their pistol, but they wont swap back to the rifle until the pistol is out of ammo
But now it almost seems like something has changed because it seems more random now when im testing it compared to when i had the AI defend against hordes of zombies, i wonder if the amount of zombies might mess with the AIs ability to compute.
Currently when testing it with one Zed closed in a cage within 10m the AI does not always swap to their pistol, but when he does, he runs it dry then goes back to the rifle.
I guess i'll try to run the kits without pistols and have them defend against hordes to see how that works

Depending on which type of target the agent is about to attack.
If a agent has multiple possible target's he may will switch back and forth between them and depending on which type the target is (vehicle/Infantry ) and which type of weapon the agent has he may will select another weapon to attack.
Don't think the number of target's will influence it.

step one is don't call mods "mod packs", step two is just enable the mod
generally if it doesnt work on a modded map but it works on a vanilla map you may need to talk to the author of the map

But i Aldo have installed supressor mods and lot of other stuff and i cant put any suppressor on any gun and Aldo foregrips i have very limited selection of attachments too can you give me some mods perhaps that work very well for you

When I load the two mods I mentioned and drop a US arsenal it works 100% of the time

Your server side saved loadouts should be available over restarts as long as the mods for weapons and gear dont change

Hi when I reequip with the mod the AI stops seeing me, does anyone know why that happens or how can I fix it ?
The enemy AI, doesn't see me I can stand in front of them shoot and they just lie down or throw smoke, but I put on standard equipment that I get when I respawn and the AI sees me and shoots me (all normal).
What other mod do you know of that allows you to save equipment and re-equip it when you reconnect?

Before work on the project can continue the following specific cases need to be tested:
- Have someone fly around and delete the drone
- Have someone fly around and delete the operator
3. Have someone fly around and destroy the drone
4. Have someone fly around and kill the operator
5. See what happens when drone flies out of network streaming range of the operator
6. See if drone engine noise synchronizes when drone flies into network streaming range of a player - See what happens to the drone when the operator disconnects from the server (or gets kicked)
First thing I have noticed off the bat: If you gain enough speed and slam it into the ground - you go through the ground and end up under the map with the drone.
I will get my guys to repro every step above and then report back, but again; we run a pretty large modlist as opposed to what you are looking for.
I only care about the outlined items so I will test those cases and then remove the mod when done

if it works in WB and not on the server, then the server cant find the item in the arsenal, in the arsenal catalog have you checked that the entry has the correct class and flags it needs?

I would check for GUID hash collision with items from other mods, sometimes modders create files in folders that are not unique and the GUID ends up colliding

Hello I have this problem with “Loadout editor bank” occupying the default equipment the AI sees me and works fine, at the time of occupying a “saved” equipment the ia stops seeing me.
I can use the “Loadout editor bank” to put on weapons and uniform but when I use a saved equipment this happens, it happens with ArmA reforger vanilla uniform too.
How can it be solved or why can it be?
Please see if you can reproduce the issue with NO OTHER MODS LOADED, maybe you can record the video with no other mods and send me console.log from the server

It could be on the Zombie PVE map Bacon made and it’ll do the same thing
try playing without any other mods enabled and see if it still does it, it sounds like you may have some potentially problematic "effects mods" enabled that might break explosions or something
if it still does it maybe the mod is corrupted, I don't think it has crashed once for me when the zombie blows up in the game in singleplayer and on servers

it probably helps to not ragdoll the player yes? did you try it after the recent update that completely changed how the chute works?

If the helicopter is not in auto hover and is moving in any way your character will be forced into a ragdoll and you will continue falling even going through the ground......heck sometimes it will upright kill you once you exit the helicopter
This however not a bacon issue it's a arma issue with this recent update bringing ragdoll
On another note about the parachute change, I love it and is definitely in the right direction of having a fully working chute, before you deploy your chute after falling I'd be sure to deploy around 100-200 meters above ground otherwise you will be in the air for a very considerable amount of time before hitting the ground so you are kinda a sitting duck to anyone who decides to take a shot at you
I also recommend just before hitting the ground (around 5-10 meters) you press B (for xbox) or X (On PC) to disconnect your chute where you can be combat ready. If you don't....since deploying your chute makes you go into a fixed animation you will be entirely stiff until you exit the parachute
I see also that Bacon has experimented with the "pack chute" mechanic and I love it with no immediate issues.
(I know this parachute project is just a side project and not your eye of attention right now but I thought I'd talk about it anyways since your the only one so far to try this soo good job bacon 
So it doesn't deploy when ragdolled in current version ok
The only issue I've ran into with the updated parachute is that it can't be saved in a load out even if it says no item restrictions

Hey @spice elk I ran into an issue today where moving the spotlight inside the loadout editor (accidentally clicked MMB) causes the player to get stuck in the Bacon loadout editor. I was wondering if this bug has been reported/if there is a work-around (aside from not moving the spotlight)

its paged, which is arguably a worse experience on PC - especially on long lists. the filters are a nice touch.

idk. we'll just have to watch how this all unfolds
few things as someone who has a pretty large mod that touches a lot of things: The first thing is that Reforger is a test bed, so it kind of comes with the territory. I'd rather they get things "right" now and have a baseline for A4 that won't be messed with a ton. If they gotta make big changes then they gotta make big changes and it's better sooner rather than later.
Second thing is that it always depends on what they change rather than how much. It's not uncommon for mods to be bjorked after big updates for any game, I think that once BI has a baseline that they're happy with for A4 then it should be relatively smooth sailing.

also this isnt related to the crash but your log is missing timestamps, seems like a bug in your panel
timestamps are helpful in case the crash occurred say 10 seconds after the error, in which case it would be likely unrelated

We do have a small modlist alongside this but it is unrealistic for us to be able to replicate this without mods. I have no idea how this crash happened and it's the first I've seen.
this is not the first time I see this kind of log with the editor with a crash but every single time so far it was not reproducible on vanilla
mostly because... the loadouts that people had when it happened pretty much only had modded items in them
I also tried copy pasting their loadouts into a test server and was also unable to reproduce, so I'll just give up for now
I'm actually curious if it's because I didn't wipe kits on update day. So I'm scheduling that this week prior to the weekend pending some updates on my end and if that doesn't pop up again I'll let you know.

I guess the editor now returns an error instead of pretending the save was successful. Mods are not able to save files on disk and were not able to for as long as I am modding.

Files cannot be saved on Xbox. Loadout Editor saves loadouts in files. Therefore no worky on Xbox. I am saying this for the 4th time now.

Is there something I might have missed to get the Big Range Antenna to work? Right now, it doesn’t seem to function properly.
Does it need to be at the top of the selected mods list?
I’ve also tried running it with only that mod enabled, but it still doesn’t seem to work.
If I’m standing under the antenna, others can sometimes hear me, but I can’t hear them.
Not sure what the issue could be, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I just had a thought. With the admin tools you said you get the list off the in game list... that guy wasn't on that list but I was able to get his arma ID off my client side console log. Im assuming the server also has a console log that generates... I know this is a significant change but if the admin tools could grab the data in that file would that not be a more thorough way of populating the player list?
Ultimately I think the responsibility to combat cheaters rests on the company that is being paid to do it - BattlEye. Unfortunately, it seems they are not interested in working on the issue.
The ID you have located may very well be spoofed and changed every so often by the person.
There may be some things I could do but I am not sure that it is worth it. Especially not without having my hands on the cheats.

You’ve got to hover and drop, it’s an Arma thing with adding ragdoll after ejecting from moving vehicles
I’m not sure on why but whenever someone in my server fires the URG I or any of the M4 variants the person firing it their game crashes
I have it on my own server as well and use it as dependency for my Beryl pack and it never caused me any of the issues you've described. Could it be that you have some other mod that could cause this?
I’m unsure if I’m honest. It was working earlier on and I’ve added a few other mods to the server but nothing that I think could be conflicting with this pack. But I could be wrong. Everything else seems to work fine
I know it's tedious, but to make this easier for bacon I'd advise to remove few mods that you've recently added (where/when this issues started happening) and test/troubleshoot if it's happening still

People sometimes report to me that my mod crashes their server and the in the logs I see that they are using Super Ultimate Graphics Enhancement Pack Michael Bay Edition 5000 and it kind of makes the bug report worthless.

@plush dagger this is what happens when I slap in what I think is penetration value of the real APIT bullet the gun uses, this appears a bit overpowered?
BZT round Penetration 15 mm RHA at 100 m range and 30 degree impact angle (from perpendicular), tracer burn time 5 seconds.
I would gauge the overpowered potential by what it could do to buildings, tanks and anything else it shouldnt be penning.

I wasn't able to test much except for long long range and it just wasn't working unfortunately. New map doesn't suit this AA. Is there any chance at getting a different scope if theres something historically accurate or less smoke? I can't see anything. I lean towards tandems 57mm cannon anyways since they wont give me a T3485 or a T55 to kill helis.

I really didn't do much besides complain and apparently yall did it all. I'm going to have to ask my buddies what all they learned and about taking down helis. I'm also curious how much of what yall learned could be applied to tandem's 57mm APIT cannon. He told me it fires projectiles with the same explosive power as soviet 40mm gl. I'll have to go back and look at the details, but I really like sniping helis with the cannons. I want it to work so bad.

One problem is I had the rounds 3:1 HE:AP but needs to be 1:1. It is now very easy to cook helicopters.
I noticed the tracers on insurgency turned back to green on one of the next matches and not sure what means exactly. I also was lacking testing material because its so hard to get in range of any helis on that map. There is also an issue with the 23mm truck bouncing and crashing something metal into the ground while rotating the gun and while driving. I'd set up somewhere with the parking break on and have it start rolling bouncing and sliding around. This clip is from 1:35 AM eastern, and I believe that match started at 3:12 PM yesterday, so 18 hours ago.
I havent had much practice with it but that looks like a decent amount of hits

the truck drifting with handbrake on is probably something to do with physics of the gun/turret

They dont even try to lead the target they just aim around the center so it really is bad against moving targets
How are they so accurate with RPGs but so abysmal with guns? They'll nail you with an RPG from 300m against a truck doing 80km/h but can't hit a helicopter with a gun to save their lives

No difference in aiming, but they now fire 1 bullet at a time only
Interestingly I changed the AI ballistic tables for the bullets to UGL grenades and it made no difference, so I think the turret aiming system is the thing that makes them not lead targets and not aiming in general
Huh, hopefully we'll eventually see some changes/upgrades to it. With rocket pods coming itd be really nice to be able to use AI on M2/NSV emplacements as ad hoc air defense

The zu 23 does bring them down a lot easier now, perhaps too easy. But the cockpit is still damn near invincicble. I'm going to have to talk with the creator of the little bird and black hawks next. Cuts through humvees like butter.

Best way to test ZSU is to test it against vanilla helicopters. If they drop easily then yes it is an exterior mod issue and not the ZSU
