there was a potential workaround I discovered yesterday with an xbox friend of mine. It seems if your versions get corrupted (lets say playing on servers with two different versions of the mod) restart your xbox, go to the original server you were playing on, join it, and join the new servber you want and it works magically. idk , either I agree with bacon it shouldnt be happining, the short work around , is to delete the mods and download them again, but eh

DEVS need to answer this asap - is there any progress going on to fix the VOTE KICK abuse that is happening? Players are able to log on and constantly spam vote kick until the team is cleared out. This is becoming a frequent thing on every server I've played on. A certain player logs on multiple servers and spams vote kick...then goes to another server and does the same. Effectively breaking the game. I have just about had it with these trolls. The majority of these players that I've noted are on X-Box. Is there a way for admins to ban these individuals or control their abuse somehow? This is a deciding factor for me on buying Arma 4. If this is not fixed Reforger will be the last Arma game I play.

There are improvements in experimental, though I doubt there will ever be a complete solution to the problem.

Community servers can have admins who ban trolls like this, and some do that more effectively, but moderation is hard so it won't ever be perfect.

Was just in a official conflict everon and their was a hacker spawn killing the Americans and the troll war on n words dismantling everything they had, the only full server on official btw, the Americans were getting made fun of by 10 plus members of the Russian team for being bad and 1 guy in global chat was fighting for his life trying to tell them what was happening but they were just trolling him by saying how “this never would happen of you picked Soviet” I honestly have no idea who the hacker was but the icing on the cake was after destroying the American team war on n words got on a alt account and joined the Russians and stopped them from winning in the last 30 seconds he was then I assume spawn killed by the hacker because after he talked shit to the Soviet’s for being wrong about winning they all just screamed and made fun of him and then got the radios back up but it still caused 5 more minutes of genuine spawn killing for the Americans, that is the worse possible server I think anyone could of ever joined

Probably just desync. Explosive hit registration against vehicles had a couple fixes in Experimental, but it still isn't perfect there (because it also depends on your lag to the server).

But it also matters where you hit.

Game updates break mods because quite often the base game files that the mods refer to or rely on get changed. Some smaller more minor updates may not break a given mod, but these devs in particular like to tinker with the way entire systems work in a single patch and radically change the structure of the files and so that will absolutely f with most mods.

The "radical" changes are highly anticipated features that have been on the roadmap for quite some time now, and it shows what's being worked on. Depends on the Server, some servers have really good hardware. Those will perform much better than the official Nitrado servers that are likely shared with other game instances.

There are significantly fewer scenarios available, but there are a lot of public servers in Reforger. Depending on what you are looking for, potentially better options for that.

Another thing is that most players are in public multiplayer servers in Reforger, and the player count is higher than reported on Steam (thanks to crossplay).

I know he is aware of the supply duplicating glitch, and the one to level up to sergeant in a few seconds. So I have seen him join games and immediately buy mobile HQ trucks and build up entire bases within the first few minutes of a game starting.

maybe it's just timing, but yesterday playing Conflict on official server as soon as I tried to recruit AI (4-5x infantry) and order them to move (to protect specific point), performance dropped significantly (both packet loss and fps iirc). did someone notice that?

Don't try putting them in vehicles because sometimes they won't get out, not even their dead bodies can be removed.

Network Problem. The hit registration is fine in sp. The a.i. who isn't grouped to a player is run by the server. The servers are lagging like hell so your hits don't register. Possible solution is to get rid of a.i.. There is a conflict config in the files without a.i. It should help

This isn't the first time a Stable update has trashed the game's stability, and it likely won't be the last. As irritating as the current state of official servers is, it's temporary. When the landmine update was released every single mod on the workshop was fully nonfunctional and the vanilla game was regularly DCing players/crashing/servers freezing at 1fps. But at the end of the day the game as a whole recovered and, at least IMO, was in a very stable, enjoyable state prior to the last update. BI will fix the current issues and mods will be updated to work again, in a month these problems will seem far away. Just takes some patience

Something bad is going on now, even the low population servers are crashing before 16:00-16:30 CET we played for hours with max population on official servers and had 1-2 crashes and disconnects. Now every server fps declines rapidly and completely crashes and restarts the campaing and servers. The modded servers are unplayable most of the time you get dc-d every 15-30 minutes and the server resets too frequently kicking everyone.
Edit: right now even in the main menu all connections are failing sometimes to backend servers etc.

Hey everyone, I have been playing MP on official and community servers, but each server I am having insane desync and rubberbanding. Then I am often getting kicked for Group 1 Replication and Reason 6 Stalled. The game is totally unplayable. Any ideas? Every other online game I have works fine, and the four friends I've been trying to play with aren't having any issues. Im wired on ethernet, and have no connection issues in Arma 3 either.

send msgs let them push hotfix ASAP,but now we only can playing and provide some vanilla servers or with few system mods,if you try any servers with heavy moded,crashes all the time,even cant playing at all.

I'm not even trying to play modded servers until they patch it. The vanilla official servers in Europe were all bad they started to have lower and lower server FPS then crashed. I've played in NY for 3 hours and no crashes or disconnections happened with 120-180 ms latency. I'm curious what changed between 11:00 and 17:00 as I've played on Europe official servers and had 1 crash and 1 disconnection in 5 hours then all servers went to shit with conflict game mode. Was there a server side update or change? Etc the developers have to figure it out. I'm just saying it's not normal that we have so radical performance changes on the server side in an hour. The funniest part was that me and a couple of our guys had the 5k logi achievement in the bag and I was also almost max level and that 3-4 hours long stable game just crashed while the server was running with max players for the whole time.

Yeah I've got that why the servers are crashing are related to new changes causing renders and other bugs slowly killing the server or client game. Now the Devs go and check what was the difference between EU and us official servers. Why did the US have still stable games in the perspective of this game's definition of stable while the EU servers went to a full crash and reset in every 30 minutes.
