I have installed Arma Reforger Tools on linux mint, using proton experimental. But in the world editor i get this white screen and a loading bar saying 'Preparing entities to edit' every time i move my mouse over a different entity. All i have done up to this point is download arma reforger (opened it once), downloaded arma reforger tools (opened it multiple times and also restarted my pc) and ive tried different protons (hotfix and the latest) and i have also tried "DXVK_ASYNC=1 DXVK_STATE_CACHE=1 %command%" in the steam launch options for the tools. Here is info about my GPU:

Does anyone know where I can find an inheritance chart for the various characters? I'm reconfiguring the entire US faction and I'm trying to avoid having a bunch of single-change branches. Obviousl I know BaseLoadout comes first, but then it appears there are a few branches from there and I can't tell which ones are lower in the tree than the others.

The E_FuelService is a prop prefab, then there's the composition E_FuelStorage that has the E_FuelService as part of the composition. Hey, I have a problem with my radio, it's floating in the air, I'm losing hope on how to fix it. When I try to add the radio via BaseLoadoutClothComponent it is not visible, but when I do it via RHS_EquipmentStorageComponent it is visible, I can add it, but it does not stay in the pouch

My workbench has stopped registering colliders. It cannot find the gamemats and when I import it the FireGeo layer is not properly set. I am not sure why this is happening as I did not have this problem last year.

Animations are made for specifics items.

If your items isn't the same shape as said item the animation isn't gonna look right.

If you want to have the player hold a custom item, then you need to make a custom animation.

hi guys, while I was working on my mod I suddenly noticed something strange, I deleted an override of an editable prefab but when I clicked it didn't got deleted right away. instead everything in the workbench stopped responding, I tried deleting another prefab and same thing, no response.

So I closed the workbench and when I wanted to get back to my work and reopen my mod, it wasn't there anymore... I searched everywhere but theres no trace of my mod on my pc anywhere...

Basically I got fucked pretty bad by some random bug that made my mod disappear, Is there a way to get it back maybe through ID or something???

Hi, can somebody help me out with my vehicle turret? My vehicle have a 360° turret which can be controlled from the CoPilot seat over a display. I created the turret and animGraph for the rotation variables and Linked the turret to the CoPilotCOmpartment. But when i enter the Vehicle i can not use it. It get linked and i can fire, but cant use SightComponent or rotation. It looks like the CoPilot can not use DirectAim??

Is there a somewhat simple way to reverse something a mod has changed? For example there is a scenario we run that removes the heavy breathing / weapon sway after sprinting and we want that back. Also, it altered the mortar so that it knows your location and actively targets you even though there is no line of sight or even any nearby enemy AI that could relay that info.

did something change in wcs armaments for adding missles to tanks im making a AA tank for russian side. My main goal is to allow saving loadouts only for the items inside the faction's inventory, the only option I found is to add faction affiliation to each and every prefab.

I was "replying" to someone else, but to answer your question, this is a shot in the dark but this happens when the map you tryna play has the same file name with some other map in some other mod, usually happens when multiple mods use default file names for maps which is "unnamed" 😅 I'm afraid you might need to start taking out mods to see which one it was

I've been having issues with Blender not recognizing workbench. Things that i have done so far, was install blender 4.5 and reinstall the enfusion tools on to that version of blender, restarted my computer, made sure my Net API is enabled, attempted to change ports (I returned it back to 5775) and i also restarted my PC again after the new blender installation. I'm feeling kind of stuck since I'm running out of options here trying to fix this. Any guidance is much appreciated

I have found youtube videos, but a lot of them are 3 years old or so so not sure what the current best practice is

I did try to copy over the entities to a empty eden map, but the editor crashed/hung as I selected all and I had to kill it with task manager

I solved it using the edit button on the top toolbar instead of rightclicking a entity, was able to copy over to a new world and have the emptyEden as parent to my subscene

I'm having an issue that i can't seem to find anything on. I had workbench functioning on a previous ssd, but it fried. I have a new drive, new OS, new everything now. I followed the steps in the guide to get workbench working and...every new project i create isn't listed as a project I can reopen. None of the workshop items I've downloaded populate either. I have the appropriate .gproj files selected for import and everything, but nothing will show up aside from arma itself. When I create a new project and it opens workbench, the log lists errors saying it can't find previous projects in the normal folders despite them existing (i've checked over and over). Any help please?

Solved, my "user" name under "C:\user<name>..." is in French with special characters and 2 spaces. Enfusion workbench hates that and won't recognize anything past my "user" name. I put a new folder on a different drive and now now problems. FOr future reference in case anyone else has a similar issue

Hi! Damn, please help me, I can't solve this problem anymore. I have a house with a "triangular" roof. I want to make it properly, with BSP and portals, etc. But I've run into a problem. When my BOXVOL extends onto the roof (as is done in vanilla buildings), it starts to affect the roof from the outside and colors it darker. No matter how I tweak the settings, I can't figure out how this works or how to set everything up so that the roof below (inside the house) is dark, but there are no differences in brightness from the outside. Interestingly, -0.500 actually makes the prefab work in a continuous loop (eg when refueling a car), I found that this is the default setting with the fuel truck cargo. This goes against what the Description says in the picture. Not sure if @earnest prawn has any idea if this is typo that needs to be mentioned or an undocumented trick ... it should work with a value =>0 and with the "Loop" option checked.

The version on the Workshop cannot be edited, it's a packaged mod (.pak file) and not the project source files.

Completely ignorant on how to use workbench. AI in PvE seem to have incredible skills when it comes to RPG vs a 120 km/h heli. I downloaded an RPG Nerf mod but it does not seem to change the ground to air accuracy. Not even sure of ground and ground to air can have different accuracy settings. Anyway I opened the RPG Nerf mod in workbench but cant seem to find anything in it except the 3d model. I was hoping to learn a bit from looking at it and maybe even decrease the AI accuracy. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Not sure if this is the right place to post or not, but… I’m trying to inherit and edit EditorModeBuilding.et so that it calls custom prefabs for helipad compositions which have a subclass on them in place of SCR_CatalogEntitySpawnerComponent, so I can script my own additional cooldown timer for vehicle spawns. Only problem is: when I run it, the game continuously calls the GUID for the vanilla editormodebuilding prefab instead of my inherited one. Is there any way to make it call my inherited editormodebuilding prefab?

Hey so i recently made my own faction and it works great, my issue however is that when i place a command tent or either vehicle depot and attempt to spawn a vehicle the entity browser is empty and so is the command tent for any buildables. ^^ solved: solved by using factionmanager callsign list instead of US.conf as the primary target for editing callsigns. Possible explanation is other mods overriding my US.conf which was overriding my callsigns, and I think factionmanager would re-override my US.conf

TLDR: Put your callsigns in factionmanager and not US.conf when making an override faction mod

hey so i made my own mission on a modded map and edited it in world editor to change the name of the base factions and there items also changed the arsenal to accept all items still wont let me save the items to the faction it also seems like somehow the depencies are overlapping or taking over my mod for example i put wcs core on the mission config that i made for the mission and put show main bases and it shows when i test the world and everything works fine except for that when its time to test it on the server its not the same

Why don't you use ArmaServer.exe?
It's much more reliable and pretty much never complains.
Once you have everything set up you can start and get on it within 3 - 5 seconds.

false positive is a generic term, there is literally no way for us to know what is triggering it from outside CF/BI because we don't have access to any of that stuff, CF is a magic black box

I built a video upload/moderation system for a large network, We completely deep sixed CF for uploads and went straight to uploading to S3 (which had multipart uploads that didn't make me want to cry) and then we proxied the buckets (where the files went) with CF

Some people have traveled to libraries and work offices, changed their VPN routing, or used some kind of cloud gaming service to upload their mod to Workshop. I haven't had any issues but my stuff is <5MB, AFAIK it's a location based problem they haven't figured out since ~July 2025

IMO i don't think the problem is CloudFlare, it's probably Workshop butchering the connection. They really need to get a contractor to fix it in a week, expensive but fixing a problem early on like this saves countless dollars down the road especially is A4 if going to use it

PS. I did try changing the Proton version but none seem to fix the issue.

It's doesn't matter what addons I try with, dedicated server tool is telling me it fail to load that dependency

That would essentially go through all of your readable files and tell you if anything comes back with that GUID in the file. Which, could be the culprit. It's usually addon.gproj containing the GUID.

I found a half broken mod on the workshop, im somewhat new to enfusion but have knowledge in coding, the guy has broke the mod, no way to access his discord to contact him and help him fix it. Is it still possible to gain access to the mod and fix it myself?

Hey Guys
I'm a complete noob and if I'm in the wrong channel please let me know. I currently have a lot of time on my hands and was trying to create my own map for Arma Reforger. I'm following along tutorials and it's been a cool experience so far. However one big problem I have is when I try to paint terrain the app crashes. It doesn't matter what terrain I use. As soon as I click it's dead. First I was thinking my laptop is just too weak (integrated graphics, 16gb RAM, i7). However I was able to use masks for terains (not sure if they are called that). So I could edit the png files and import them again just fine, no problem. I'm able to use a forest generator and I'm even able to sculpt. I have no problems doing any of that. It's not even laggy. I was even able to start the Reforger Game (single player). Admittedly I only got like 20fps but I feel like if I can do all that maybe the problem is elsewhere and not low specs. Can anyone here help me with that?

With the help of someone else I was able to figure out that it's not my pc but it's something worng with my project. I created a new project and there I was able to paint no problem. I don't know how to fix my OG Project though.
