You do not understand the future soldier loadout!

First, CBRN gear in camo because there will be an increase in toxic exposure threats, like from depleted tungsten particles and various grades of chemical warfare created by disgusting new-model MRE being distributed along the front lines.

Second, the large backpack ensures that one soldier is capable of carrying their own mess gear, folding bed as well as the mandatory Apple(TM) laptop for R&R as well as social and battle networking.

Third, the extra armor plate protects the most vital and exposed areas against enemy civilians throwing stones and harder projectiles like remnants of the above mentioned MRE.

Fourth, the large-caliber scrap-made rifle with extended enhanced performance tactical scope gives the soldier an all-round combat capability. Due to the increase in range and damage, the soldier will be able to engage any target, be it a aircraft, helicopter, apc, mrap or drones.

Inaccurate rate of fire suppression is also a thing of the old era.
An accurate, large calibre BCAPHETTBA (Capped Ballistic Armor Piercing High Explosive Tracer Timed Boost Airburst) round from the rifle is proven to be more suppressive and less expensive per suppression than rate of fire type weapons.

The RPG-7 has been proven to be capable against any target, airborne, waterborne or land, has a wide variety of ammo-types and a global availability.

Some vehicles have armour around crew that you can't shoot through (or maybe you can with 50 cal, haven't tested with that).

Still works on other vehicles, managed to steal Nyx AA yesterday on pubzeus session by clipping into it and shooting crew.

Just discovered how to move units using high command, you click on the units and literally just click on the map. I kept trying to use ` or drongos command interface and could never manage to figure it out. Yeah, Arma AI does an insane amount of suppressive fire. They almost never stop shooting unless they are repositioning or they haven't seen you or your return fire for several seconds. Not to mention that you are usually outnumbered in most missions, so you have a much lower volume of fire than your enemies.
