To host a server or a game session locally, you need to make sure first that your WAN address / external IP uses the IPv4 protocol!
Check your router’s status page in the settings to confirm. (If in doubt, ask your ISP, Websites like “whatismyip.com” give you a false positive!)
Local servers and games can not be hosted on an IPv6 network, or IPv4 via DSlite tunnel!

Once you have confirmed that your connection uses the IPv4 protocol, you need to manually open / forward the ports 2302-2306 UDP (https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3:_Dedicated_Server#Port_Forwarding)
See your router’s manual on how to do that, or ask google: “<your router model> + port forwarding”
i have changed all the settings to match the requirements and yet it always says port forwarding failed
its either im dumb and not realize something or is it just not possible
Don't use the UPnP checkmark in the game and portforwarding settings in the router at the same time.
If your wifi router shuts down I suspect you are setting something incorrectly. Please show screenshots of what you have done.

my UPnP is set, so is port forwarding on my router, so i dont have to tick the UPnP option the game menu?
It is one or the other. Not both. If you set the port forwarding in the router correctly, then you don't need to set the UPnP checkmark in the game.
But since UPnP is often disabled in routers you might as well set up portforwarding manually to begin with.

You can have both setup/enabled in the router. But if the last screenshot is set up, you should not use the UPnP checkmark in game.
I do not recommend allowing UPnP in the router. Since UPnP is considered unsafe, you risk unfriendly applications from creating backdoors through your router. Manual portforwarding gives you a stop at which application may receive unrequested datapackets.
so i should turn of the UPnP and just leave the port forwarding on? and uncheck the UPnP option ingame?

Hey fellas, i'm having issues on our groups dedicated server with vehicles exploding once we get between 5-6 people in the vehicle, and we attempt to move. We are on the Altis map, and it seems to occur with essentially any vehicles we use at random. The vehicles are parked on the apron outside of the main airport on Altis, and are not anywhere near any type of hidden terrain object etc. We had fixed the issue once by disabling Advanced Vehicle Damage through ACE, but the issue seems to have resurfaced, even though that setting is disabled. Anyone ever had these issues before, and if so, how did you solve it? Thanks guys.
Is it Advanced Car Damage? It's a separate setting that breaks everything. What other mods are you using?
I can send you our mod pack, the bigs ones are ACE, RHS, USAF, Firewill's F-15/16/A-10, TF373 MH-47, Hatchet Helos that pertain to vehicles. It doesnt seem to make a difference which mod vehicles we use, and it tends to only happen when we get more than like 3-4 people in a vehicle.

We have Advanced Vehicle Damage turned off, if Advanced Car Damage is a separate setting, do you know where its located off hand?

It's right below normal Advanced Damage. I can't see anything obvious with the mods so just post it here. All I could guess is something with towing or sling loading.
I'm fairly certain we have Car Damage disabled then, I believe I turned both options off in that section of ACE. Ill verify that here in a few, working on a Campaign mission for the boys ATM. I can disable Towing/Sling Loading and see if it persists. Not sure why that would effect it, but who knows with A3.
yo, keybind question, havent played in forever, setting up my stuff again and runing into the issue that while pressing "shift" which is my temp walk and hold breath bind and the same time pressing "num -"(standard just on mw left) it does not out zoom out and character stops moving until it gets any new input like lean for example but everything works fine on zoom in (num +), been testing and had every other shift and num- bind deleted. any ideas ? maybe some hard bind ? ty
Make sure there's no bind conflicts. IIRC, if you have Shift bound to action ABC, but Shift + G bound to action XYZ, it will stop doing ABC and start doing XYZ. If you have Shift bound to action DEF and action HIJ, then it will do both when you hold it.
yea nope, that much i know, like i said i did deleted every single other bind for shift and num- just to test, just rechecked with only temp walk on shift, just weird that it works on num+ but nvm, gonna blind something else to zoom out
Hello. Im currently having my first problem with arma 3 after 2K hours and its a quite weird one. I reinstalled arma 3 when this problem occured and it has not been resolved at all and stays. When i start modded arma 3 my CPU immedietly skyrockets to 100% and im stuck on "Arma 3" loading screen for about 30 minutes before the game closes and not even report shows.
Also for me is very late at night so when you reply i may not be online at the time.

Arma generates a .rpt log file each time it's run, which contains a lot of information like the loaded mods, or any errors that appear, this log file can be very useful for troubleshooting problems.
To get to your RPT files press Windows+R and enter %localappdata%/Arma 3

To share an rpt log here, please use a website like https://pastebin.com/ (Set expiry time to 1 week or less) to upload the full log, that way the people helping you can take a look at it and try to figure out the problem you're having together with you.

In all 3 rpts included, it fails at creating action map cache
The modlist is pretty large, which definitely causes slow loading

Best guess is one of the caches is corrupted, or that modlist doesn't work together or includes a broken mod
You could try deleting the cache files, and Arma should regenerate them afterwards
I don't know if reinstalling would have cleared the caches in appdata and/or documents

I know animDataCache is fine to delete, not entirely certain about the others

You could try reducing the number of cores, and changing some of the launch settings

That RPT is about half full of just script errors, you should fix those and see if you get past whatever script is causing the black screen
Can someone plz help, me and my friend used to play arma 3 a couple years ago and now I cant the in game server hosting to work at all. UPNP doesn't work, I've set up port forwarding and everything. I'm really tech savvy when it come to networking and pc's. I just need a solution lol
Are you sure you're not on CGNAT?

-enableHT combined with -cpuCount doesn't make sense, its either one or the other, not both.
You are setting several parameters multiple times.
Your setting exThreads does nothing.
Does your CPU actually have 12 cores? If yes, then you don't need cpuCount to tell the game that. If it has less than 12, that could be your problem

When the game is frozen, you can go to task manager's details panel, right click the game and create a memory/process dump. If you send me that, I can see what it was doing when it was frozen, with that I could probably fix it.
It got fixed, it was the count of cpu cores for some reason even though it worked perfectly before but thanks for your take on this.
Many (well a handful) others have issues with this and would like to get a fix too.
And I cannot reproduce that issue myself to see what the problem is

You generally can see on the memory usage in task manager, if a process is really frozen.
If memory usage keeps slowly rising, then its still doing something
I tested telling the game I have 31 cpu cores, but only giving it 8.
It loads alot slower, and at the anim cache loading, it's pinned to full cpu usage and frozen (memory usage doesn't move)
So again the question, how many cpu cores do you actually have?
Did the game somehow get less than 12, despite you telling it that it had 12 to use?
I have 6 cores but in some YouTube tutorial years ago he said to put twice as much
so it worked till today. The loading was probably just very slow

This video shows diffrienses between Basic Flight Model and Advanced Flight Model when you we try touchdown on some objects (defult used )in Arma3.
Bug is when we use AFM. After touching Down - even most gentle make it crash. Same things not happen when switch to BFM .

In that photo I am pretty sure they are hovering.

Seems like if you hover above the place you want to put your troops down you don't crash into it. They would jump ontop of it when they get out.
this is also a solution, but i flight only on the first person, sometimes I am not able to assess how far it is to the obstacle. I treat it as a support point. Od nothing can be done about it, then it's okay, I'll survive somehow 😂

Trying to figure out why text chat on dedicated server isn't working consistently. I can't seem to figure out an exact pattern. Most of the time it seems like it works after launching the game, then after playing a mission and going back to the lobby (or just quitting back to the lobby) the text chat stops working.
There is some hackery in engine.
Chat used to be off in the connecting loading screen , but we needed to turn it on.
I think since then its a bit messy

So we can show chat messages to players during that
players may be "stuck" in connecting screen, if the server tells them to wait. We want to inform the player that that's happening, so they don't think they're stuck

Don't know what frame gen is. But it seems vsync is more important. (if without makes you sick)
also I couldn't capture this on video but sometimes it seems like it skippes some frames (like lagging?)

Arma 3 also doesnt support any frame gen natively, so try running the game normally and see if you still have the issue

It might be better if you showed those vehicles driving in the background. Panning the view shows slideshowy frames, but not sure if that is because of your pointer update frequency or the frame repetition of the GPU.

When you are panning the entire view around more pixels need to be processed. And your resolution is like 4-5K at extreme settings. Looks like that is too much of a good thing.
Yeah, seems just like low framerate to me.
frame rate is in the top left corner 30fps-ish
the vehicle moving is super smooth. So either you have a slow update rate of your mouse, or whatever you are pointing with. Or the GPU and/or CPU are bottlenecked by the settings you want to render.

Actually that reminds me. I used to have certain issues just like that with the Zeus cam.

I suppose, but that is what is directing the view. I suggest you lower your rendering settings demands until the FPS rate is more acceptable.
You are only reaching 50fps with a still frame (from the menu where u showed your settings), panning around will drop your frames to 30ish or lower like u said. at those frame rates it will start looking like a slide show
fps is fine though. I'm good with 30fps. the studder is the problem
Though you did good at starting at the top. Setting lowest rendering settings usually shifts the load to CPU and bottlenecks one core/thread.

I also see u have freesync enabled but your monitors lowest support freesync refresh rate is 48hz, so at 30fps you are definitely getting repeated frames. perhaps that is what you are seeing?
idk, i have been playing with lower fps many times and no stutter. the stutter is new. never had this happen before

also, with 60+fps with frame gen the stutter is still there
so even with more than 48fps

I think those are threads, not processes. Otherwise the memory usage would be off the charts

If you are missing System.ServiceModel.dll I suspect that .net framework failed to install after installing the game (steam is supposed to do it)

this time for some reason i keep getting the error 8, i've tried deleting all the changes but nothing seems to work, anyone has had this problem before? if so how did you solve it, please help i've been trying to fix this for an hour now and since the forums are down i'm trying my luck here, good night everyone too.
Don't make compilations of mods. It's illegal to copy most mods. Just use the INTENDED LAUNCHER PRESET FEATURE!

all the compilated mods are authorized by their authors to do so with the condition of them being given credit in the description, which i did.
It's still more work 😭 It only take 30 seconds to export a preset to Google Drive. I don't get why more people don't do it.
Because people are whiny, they cry if you add too many mods, they cry if you don’t, then they whine about the size, it’s better to just hide what you add and tell them to update the compilation
A 20 mod preset is easier to digest than a 120 mod preset with some private mods in the middle.
Apparently it was an error with the publisher, I just created a new mod and it published with no problem.
yo can someone maybe help with my situation: i play with mods and all and i dont know if its ace conflicting it or whatever but 75% of the time when i call in for air support to take me or evac me somewhere it flies straight up in the air and glitches out

Heli evac isn't a vanilla feature. You'd need to figure out which mod or mission is providing that feature to start with.

Anyone know which addon it is that has this Zeus context menu? And perhaps why on my dedicated server (separate machine) I'm able to properly heal units with it (without admin login) but if my friend uses heal it doesn't do anything regardless of him being logged in as admin or not?

If that's vanilla, then why the hell can't my friend use it too :/ His doesn't do anything if he tries to heal or rearm a unit/vehicle
Is there a special way you should setup Zeus slots in your mission? I've just made a Game Master and Zeus player slot and synced them to each other
You need to place it every time you become Zeus. ZEN might be client side so does your friend have it?
We share the same modpack and these are the Zeus related addons

What mods are you using? AI mods in particular.
It usually happens when it's "critically damaged" or immobilized. There might be a script or something that toggles it.

Probably steam protocol packet size related, but that's not the usual error, so maybe your router doesn't support UDP fragmentation.

"Files are not signed by a key accepted by this server" is a separate issue and means that you're either loading addons that the server doesn't have the key for, or addons which are incorrectly built.

i checked and the keys are all there and i even deleted all of my addons and reinstalled them by joining the server and still the same so im gonna just reinstall the server and hope it helps

Any suggestions on improving CPU utilization? I ran YAAB for the first time with my typical settings and scored 52FPS, but looking at task manager, none of my CPU cores were maxed out with the highest being under 70%, and GPU was at around ~75%.
Is it localhost or a service or a physical personal server?

Well, I'm having a bit of my own problem: my graphics are resetting to some really cursed settings ever since that time when I played Fortnite then rebooted my computer.
Switch to perf-prof branch if you want to try it
It currently has better multithreading than stable (and numerous other optimizations)
(also on dev branch, but then you can't play with stable)
There aren't any other solutions due to the limitations of the old multithreading system
(Unless you have it heavily limited with launch parameters, in which case change the launch parameters)

What CPU/GPU and settings? Try turning off shadows.
5900HX (laptop), 3050 Ti Mobile, shadows makes a significant improvement (5-7 FPS) but i'm fine with keeping those on
objects i found was quite substantial too, so i set that to very low

yup, my original settings were High shadows and Low particles
and OPFOR is typically packed densely for the two missions i play, quiksilver I&A and my own framework (both running on DS), so i'd have to really crank down the view distance to see the benefits

Well, you can try to avoid getting damaged. If you enter into hostile territory, expect to be shot at. And in some cases, severe.
I don't know what scenario you were playing, but approach more carefully. Scan for enemy better. Be the first one that shoots.

Oh, sorry. That's Reforger so you should put it in #reforger_troubleshooting. Update your Discord roles to include Reforger so people will know you play both.
Are certain RHS vehicles (uparmored humvee, M-ATV, etc) incompatible with ACE advanced vehicle damage? Seems like you can disable them with 1-5 rifle rounds into the hull with both the engine and gun getting destroyed.

Good evening can anyone help me with an issue, soo i just got a new pc i assembled, i installed everything right and all, but when i started arma 3 launcher it showed less servers than usual, then i went to the in game list wich shows me all the servers, i tried everything, re installing, resting my router, re installing the internet receiver on my pc, using an internet cable and disabling ip6 none of it worked

I swapped around some of the armor values, based off vanilla vehicles, and it seemed to mostly fix the issue.

Spamming refresh restarts it actually. You have to wait until it stops counting up in the 4-5 thousands. Do clear your server browser filter settings if it doesn't go into that number.

I don't know of any Windows settings that could stop this. Maybe a kind of DDOS or flood protection in 3rd party firewall could be blocking them? But maybe even the launcher doesn't rely on actual ICMP pings.

I'm having this issue where I can't place explosives using the scroll menu. If I do it from my inventory menu, I can, but otherwise, I can't. I know it's likely from a mod, but unfortunately, I don't know which one because I have 261 running.

Start with halve of it. Smaller parts only makes it take longer. Binary search is the quickest. But do group the mods that belong together/are dependant on another. Or you get other errors that confuse the matter.
Loading order shouldn't be an issue. The mod should contain a reference inside it on which mod it is based and requires it.

I have reduced.This is a nuclear bomb crater, so it is a 416416 meter plane. In order to reduce the loading time (5-10 seconds), I divided this p3d model into 1024 13m13m plane p3d models. The bomb is caused by this optimization. The original 416*416 meter plane will not have this problem.

Hi, there is a problem with the arma interface. It happens when I log in to any server. I don't have a side/slot selection menu for the game. I was checking the A3 files in steam and was told that everything was fine.
I have seen that stuck camera bug after loading into the server, but not before the role selection 🤔
Arma generates a .rpt log file each time it's run, which contains a lot of information like the loaded mods, or any errors that appear, this log file can be very useful for troubleshooting problems.
To get to your RPT files press Windows+R and enter %localappdata%/Arma 3

Hello, my friend has a long term problem where he gets each 5-15 seconds 5 second lag its basicly in intervals like that and i have no idea how to help him, he tried drivers, upgrading his pc, trying different settings, deleting caches and more and still nothing.

5 seconds is probably too extreme for that, but before we changed around some server network settings, there was quite a bit of that periodic lag, every few seconds but more like a minor hitch than a full freeze
but what he didnt told me is that he apperently has second SSD but its just not showing up in his pc for some unknown reason
it's either not plugged in or isn't partitioned but that shouldn't matter to anything
monitor hardware. Is the CPU/GPU hitting max usage? Are they hitting max temps and thermal throttling? Are you hitting max RAM usage and running into a GC pause?

It's a script command, just tells you the fog values. If they're set really weirdly then locking doesn't work.

The key for that mod is not accepted by the server.
Either the server isn't running that mod or the player has the wrong version/corrupted files
Or the server admin did not put the .bisign file for that mod (usually found in a "keys" folder inside the mod folder) inside the "keys" folder of the server. This is not done automatically. Though some server hosting companies have that automated by script.
Or the mod in question isn't even signed but the server by default does use signature verification to ensure only the correct mods are used by server and clients.

Instead of running the archive directly, try extracting it with 7zip and running the dxsetup.exe. If that still doesn't work, extract Jun2010_XAudio_x64.cab and try installing that directly.

The last resort method is to use -profiles ("Profile folder") in the Arma launcher and specify a folder that onedrive definitely won't mess with, like C:\Armaprofiles

For some reason the appID.txt file got filled with the wrong number? Check that. Though it complains about the correct number that should be for the server that you are running there: 233780
107410 is for the game client.
But you are running the 32-bit server version. Run the 64-bit server instead, it is kept more up to date/tested.
Freshly downloaded server files (perf branch) and steam_appid.txt contains 107410.
I had the same problem a couple of times, had to remove 233780 and paste 107410.
Otherwise it didn't work (Local test server) .

I have amd ryzen 5 3600 and rtx 5060. There's some bottleneck in there, but not that much as the gpu only utilises around like 20%. The average fps are fine and stick around like 80, but there's frequent stuttering

If you have enough memory it should improve over time, but I don't think Arma will load a LOD or texture until it's used. And then it waits to read it off the disk, hence the hitches.

You just have to make absolutely sure that anyone who connects is running exactly the same mods you are. No more, no less.
This is typically impossible.
It's why people use verifySignatures on PvE dedicated servers. It's not for the security. It's just impossible to get everyone to load the right mods otherwise.

Try connecting from within A3 rather than from the launcher.
That's the sort of issue that goes away if you use a dedicated server instead, even on the same PC.

All it requires is making a batch file with a command line that runs the server. However that's a bit tricky in your case because the startup command line is so long that it clips in the RPT.
Arma steam client actually has the server exes with it, so you don't have to download anything extra.

You could try just using FASTER. It sometimes works. You'll need to enable upnp as that's not default for a DS.
But do try connecting from A3 instead of the launcher.

See if it improves with less mods. Also see if your fans and cooling ribs in your computer needs cleaning. And shut down Google Chrome/whatever in the background

Basically, you are giving not enough information about how or with what the lagging or freezing happens. It might actually be unrelated to Arma 3 and just your hardware acting up.

hi so i used to use upnp to host arma server for me and my friedn it worked flowlessly until like a moth ago, since then it stopped working completly and gives me the cant setup port forwording error in arma, i tried updating router firmware, port forwarding directly, reinstaling arma, changing firewall rule but nothing seems to fix it any ideas? thx in advance
If the UPNP throws an error then that either means UPNP is disabled in your router settings, or in Windows.
Windows will quietly disable UPNP if your network type is set to public rather than private. The default firewall rules will also block in public.

I think what happens is that Arma tries to send UDP packets that are nearly maximum size and various VPNs or VPN-like software just throw them away because they can't be bothered to deal with UDP fragmentation.
It might be possible to reduce Arma's max packet size but that's only documented for dedicated servers.
Arma's networking doesn't figure that the large packets are getting thrown away, so it just keeps trying and failing.

Right Click on game -> Properties -> Installed Files -> Verify Integrity of game files
Arma 3
Steam Workshop Mod repair process:
Open Launcher -> Right Click on mod -> Repair
The first process will automatically verify Steam Workshop items as well.

Hi, I've been experiencing image stuttering in ArmA 3 for about a month now. I tried many things: reinstalling the game, using different builds (base, prof, def), testing and resetting launcher parameters, lowering view range, lowering texture quality, rolling back AMD GPU drivers, updating bios, yadda yadda yadda. The issues started happening randomly as far as I know. I am using a new machine but the game used to run properly until now. Today, I disabled shadows and it helped MASSIVELY. It's the first time that I've noticed any difference since the stuttering started. With frame gen the game is now downright playable again, however, without shadows. Since I now know that shadows seem to be the problem, I wonder if someone here might know how to fix the stuttering.
Also, around the same time I've noticed some mouse cursor lag in chrome and other places with varying degrees of intensity. I don't know if this has anything to do with each other but I thought I should mention it.
What's your GPU?
FYI: AMD Ryzen 7800X3D, AMD Radeon RX 7900XTX, 32GB RAM 6000MT/S

Funny you should mention that because the AMD Adrenaline overlay sometimes wouldn't recognize ArmA 3 as a game

It must be a driver issue or something. Because none of this was going on a month ago. The cursor lag and rare flickering is bearable and all other games run smoothly but ArmA has been hit the hardest
I haven't been able to play ArmA for a month now. It's that bad. Feels like 12fps even at 60+fps

No, not fine at all but better. I tested quality levels but didn't notice much of a difference except for turning it off entirely. As far as distance goes, I only ever played with 200m max

Yeah, I don't think that the shadows are causing the issues. I think that whatever causes the issue gets amplified when rendering shadows. As I said it's probably a driver issue or something but then again rerolling those didn't work either so idk

Probably a dying drive but that one's more ambiguous than the similar one in the RPT.
Surprised verify got through without complaining, although maybe it gives up silently.
Make sure you close the Arma launcher before running verify.

hello guys, I have a problem with Arma 3 Profiling, I can't keep the graphics settings at "ultra" (which I did until last month) and when I load the set ups from the virtual arsenal the game freezes not loading the model and the Texture.
what could it be?
That's been half-reported a couple of times. If you can replicate it, go into task manager once Arma is frozen, use the "create dump file" option on Arma and then send it to Dedmen.

stable branch, onedrive completely deleted and the documents folder is not inside of onedrive, reinstalled the game and created multiple profiles and it's also still happening on every new profile created
also no mods running
i also tested on other branches (profiling, development, 2.20 RC) and the problem was still there
the profiles are not read-only and i double checked
i also didnt set any parameter in launcher settings, it was the default
(both the actual arma 3 launcher and steam launch parameters)
if i turn on more than 1 setting, like 3 maybe
the last one enabled always get disabled
so i think this is the same happening for if you turn on 1 settings

the problem that occurs when I try to recreate the event, the freaze, as much as I change pages and find myself in the task manager the pc is completely blocked, I can't do anything anymore.

So, I have been trying to play Antistasi and Vindicta on a server. Problem is that I can't save any loadouts in the arsenal.
I have tried the fix of deleting the vars profile, uninstalling both mods and everything, and still no luck

antistasi has a custom arsenal so arsenal extended may be causing troubles
either way running ace arsenal extended in antistasi doesnt have any benefits because antistasi doesnt use ace arsenal in the first place

Note that loadouts are saved locally and the saving code is entirely local. You can test with Antistasi locally without using a dedicated server.

Might be you had a mod that's adding bad arsenal entries, so it broke the new one too.
btw it's possible to reset the inventory data without creating a new profile, if you wanted other info from the old profile:
profilenamespace setVariable ["bis_fnc_saveInventory_data",[]];
Might be an issue that another mod that creates inventory loadouts considers nils to be valid (because they are in setUnitLoadout these days). That will break the JNA arsenal.

Well, that line of code I pasted will reset the loadouts without changing anything else.
So you could go back to your other profile and run that. It's also possible to fix broken loadouts, but fiddly if you're not used to SQF.

Easiest way is probably to open the editor in Arma, then go tools -> debug console. Paste it in there and run it.
If you can figure how you're getting the bad loadouts (it's probably a mod), let me know and I might deal with it for the next Antistasi Community version.

- log into the old profile
- go into eden
- open addon options
- click export and click copy to clipboard
- go to new profile
- do the same steps before 4
- click import instead of export
- paste everything from the clipboard using CTRL V
Hello, I have a community member who cannot load the game with mods. It just gets stuck on saying "Initializing Mods Management..." and never actually loads. He has verified files, repaired files, uninstalled and reinstalled the game and repaired his harddrive. But it still says the same message and will not load. It's not specific to any one mod, it does it with any mod that's loaded. Any suggestions?
Are you sure that's A3? Don't recognise that message.
I haven't seen it before either, but it pops up over the launcher when loading.

I believe so, it doesn't minimize the launcher and give him the normal loading title card.
It also gives him an "Arma 3 Launcher Exception Log"
When he hits play it actually launches the game vanilla, with no mods at all. Then when he closes the game the launcher crashes.
Any ideas? Deleted the mod, resubscribed, repaired, verified game files, deleted again, repaired, still nothing. Other clients join fine.

It could be that whoever that made that repackaged the PBO and broken the signing process. Find proof that others can use it properly with servers using signature verification.
Report the issue to Drunken on it's workshop page. It was updated a few weeks ago.

Wel,, unless they can look outside a window, (not very common in APCs) they can't see what is attacking them. The gunner or commander that is turned out should direct them to exit and return fire.

New issue whenever I tab out or click onto another monitor, my game freeze-frames. I can still move, hear the game, and others can see me moving, but on my end, the screen is stuck on the last frame before I tabbed out. Anyone know what this might be?
The usual fix for tabbing out issues, is to play in Fullscreen windowed mode instead

Bloodlust was a performance disaster last time I looked and it's probably still a performance disaster.
The glow is a difficulty setting, I'm not sure the specific name
Bloodlust also had security issues if you're running public servers
It's like view aid or something. It's almost the only difference between recruit and regular difficulty.
Also the chemical warfare mods don't work with KAT because it has its own chemical system.
