When Copy&Pasting either a selection of things i placed ( see images) as well as placing compositions i made myself ( but not compositions added by CUP, for example), some of the things i placed float in mid-air, always.

32-bit or 64-bit versions of what? Your description of what you did is far from clear. Try the steps explained in https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3:_Unusual_Process_Exit#0xC0000135_-_STATUS_DLL_NOT_FOUND If that doesn't help narrow it down, post the issue and the crashdump files to the Bohemia feedback tracker website. Maybe developers can tell what exactly goes wrong at that stage and which DLLs it is talking about.

i need help my UPnP is enabled and i ticked the UPnP when hosting. Mission is fine. But for some reason my friends can't see or join the server. on my old router they could see the server but never make it past the loading screen. Would anyone be able to tell me how to properly install a scenario downloaded from github for use for local hosting?
I've downloaded the folder, placed it into C:\Users\name\Documents\Arma 3 - Other Profiles\Jack\mpmissions, then it shows up in the server creation screen as a scenario but with blue text, and when I double click it it does nothing
So I have a problem with ace Arsenal. when i make a loudout in Ace Arsenal it won't save at all. it shows up when i save it and when i close and then go back on loadouts, it's just done. Arma 3 arsenal loadout works. Any tips on how i could fix it? i just reinstalled my pc and connected one of my storage units to steam and everything works well without Ace Arsenal.
@boreal raven If it's a PBO scenario then it has to go in mpmissions in the game folder (within the steam library)

There was a bug in the previous version where you have to set the ACE arsenal loadouts var manually on fresh profiles but surely they fixed that...

Without more specific information about what scenario you're trying to run I can't help further.
I can still make loadouts in vanilla Arsenal but not in Ace Arsenal which you can Get i to from the tutorial tab. Ace and Ace Arsenal is updated and all. This issue came only After i reinstalled my pc. @umbral narwhal

Repair ACE, restart steam, repair ACE again.
It's a specific bug in the previous version of ACE so you've probably just missed the update.
Using ace arsenal extended?
Yes. That may be, on their steam page is their own discord link ,if you want ask from devs of Arsenal extended. and from the discussion part is many questions about errors between mod and new ace updates.

@worn jungle @umbral narwhal thanks for the help, managed to fix it by copying a .vars.arma3Profile and putting data in it. moved the file to where ace loadouts get saved. so it's fixed

That is one way to corrupt the file if you simply use a text editor. Bye-bye other data stored by mods and scenarios.

Either #arma3_troubleshooting message or go through each mod individually. I'd recommend starting with any mods that touch RHSUSAF.

I've been messing around with the AA settings quite a bit and it seems no matter which of the 3 options I choose, my AA is still terrible. NV control panel, well I tried to explain. It was a downloadable control panel that had presets for a number of titles and also had more options to push the GPU a bit more to get a better picture

I'm not sure if it's only us or not, but is there a bug which when more than 14 players gather within 300m, the VON is not functioning?
Seems like it gets broken when more than 14 players join same group, the group VON is also ruined.
I made a simple debug scriipt to check player's VON channel and when the bug happens, only few players fires direct voice but it lasts like a few frame so that no one cannot say over Direct/Global/Side channel when people gather together.
As I mentioned when group size exceed 14, Group voice also get bugged regardless of group member's distance with each other.
Everytime I open zeus it looks like this, I can't click on anything

After the latest Arma 3 and ace update we have run into a problem with mods failing signature check when running a mod whitelist.
This might be completely unrelated to ace, but all mods we have seen this with are somehow dependent on ace have become very widespread since the ace update.
I know this might be a coincidence.
Last night it was 6 of 20 users.
What happens:
On joining the server user will get the message
Session lost - Verifying PBO failed: mods\ [name]/addons/[file].pbo
This can happen for a lot of valid reasons, but we have people losing connection mid-mission, rejoining and then getting this error.
Our usual process for this:
- repair the mod.
- repair the mod on the server.
- unsub and resub.
- verify arma files
- deleting the mod files in the actual workshop folder (The one with numbers, not !workshop)
Users go through these steps several times, and sometimes they can suddenly connect, and for some, the problem persists. Then they play the mission and two days later the problem is back.
We looked in both the server rpt and the users, but we do not see anything that indicates what the problem is. Some users running with verify signatures enabled can pass signatures and still get bounced from the server, with others joining fine.
This week we have had the problem, first with "VSM - ace compat" and then 3 days later with "Project bluefor - Rearmed"
both mods have not been updated in a long time.
Ofc if we turn signature checking/whitelist off, people can join with no problems. but this really is not a permanent solution for us.

about 110 mods. (I'm from same community as Windwalker and was one of the guys having the issue. And I run with -checkSignatures on).

This might be near the limit given that the default 1500 is typically exceeded with 20 mods.
Although that normally hits everyone equally. Server sends everyone the same packet(s)

You need to say what it is and your question is vague enough
as long as it's needed for it to be fixed
not to mention that your reports are not worth anything as you're "testing" the issue while running some shitty mods.
run vanilla on profiling branch, if it works then it's fixed, if it isn't then provide a proper report in #perf_prof_branch and use words to actually describe the issue.

so i'm running arma 3 on my main monitor that has a resolution of 1920 x 1080p and i'm using arma 3 in fullscreen window mode and with an aspect ratio of 16:9 yet for some reason it has extremly large borders picture for reference (happens vanilla and with mods loaded)
i'v tried changing aspect ratio and resolution in fullscreen mode and i can get the borders to be removed in fullscreen mode but fullscreen mode is trash
try empty/new profile
that fixes it would it be best to copy past profile.vars profile over and change name for same settings or would that keep the issue? also cant see an igui option to empty profile any idea how to do that?
you can just overwrite or remove the vars from the profile with issues

- If you're banned, you can try other server
he does it whenever he joins a server though, so i could be in a server flying helis, he hears my voice, he runs the script, then i have to wait for full restart.

Only you know which Mod you have. Make sure it works in vanilla so you know it is a Mod issue or not
You have to have your server started first, otherwise Steam won't know it is there. But pretty instantly. It takes much longer to get the entire list of 5000-ish servers from Steam in the server browser internet tab.
Check the first/top pinned message in #server_admins for an URL to check if Steam knows about a server at a specific IPv4 address. You get an answer anyway, but how it is formated depends on if there is a server found or not.

hey guys, out of a sudden I've been having issues with ArmA 3. Basically when I load up the game it loads until it reaches the <ArmA 3>> logo with the black static background, then at that point it won't do anything. I left it for an hour to load and nothing would happen. I tried disabling mods but that does not change a thing. I tried verifying files and neither does any effect. I have good hardware and never ran into this issue before. It just started happening out of a sudden. I swear, I didn't do anything like changing parameters, it just started happening

Its not just that side, I have a mod for water and food too that's supposed to be in the bottom right corner.
I have a 16:10 screen, its set up correctly in the settings
Ask the creator of that mod if it is compatible with that aspect-ratio.
FYI, I don't see any GUI in that screenshot. Not even partially.

Have you ever played Ravage arma 3 mod. me and my buddy absolutely love the mod and we took a break for a few months and now we are trying to play it again but we are getting a bunch of errors from the mod. we did a clean install, verified game files, and tried everything we could. Has anyone else using this mod had this problem?

I managed to do port forwarding on my local router but family members are complaining that my pc is sucking up all the internet. We have decent internet but this issue only happens when I boot up Arma 3 even when playing singleplayer.

I don't know how port forwarding can cause the connection to clog up for other devices in your network. Especially if you are not playing online. But make sure you only port forward UDP protocol portrange 2302-2306.

Arma generates a .rpt log file each time it's run, which contains a lot of information like the loaded mods, or any errors that appear, this log file can be very useful for troubleshooting problems.
To get to your RPT files press Windows+R and enter %localappdata%/Arma 3

Select the yellow props icon (clover-like symbol), then if nothing shows up in the list (it should), select the mod through the little pulldown icon next to the search box.
also try vanilla with just this one mod first, perhaps you have something in your mod preset that breaks the PLP stuff.

Hello there. I have issue with server lag and searching for solution. Problem is only when playing on our unit server (located in EU) and I am also in EU. Soldiers and vehicles are rubberbanding/warping like hell when I am on server. My internet is good enough and also server is ok. I have no idea what to do. Was told that it could be client problem.
I dont have any problems playing other multiplayer games (even newer than Arma). Like I said my internet speed is not the issue. It is fast.
Unit server is modded, using Spearhaed DLC and like 80 mods.
I googled warping/rubberbanding in Arma but to no avail.
Have you actually confirmed that it's only you with a problem? Like you asked everyone else on the server and they said it was fine?

Hello All, I have been struggling for months, years even, trying to get UPNP or port forwarding to work on a game I am hosting for my friends and I. I verified through my ISP that the ports are open and that they are not blocking any traffic. I have looked at many forums to find a solution and so far nothing worked. I am not sure if there is something else I am missing or maybe should try a different route. I am just trying to launch a lobby from the in game multiplayer menu. I want to avoid using 3rd party programs like Hamachi for us to play together. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey There I got a problem with Ace on a Dedicated Server its constantly overwriting the Admin Options to Disable Certain things like combat Deafness it is instantly set back to what it was before. in the RPT File i found this which is quite confusing. "[CBA] (settings) WARNING: Value false is invalid for setting ace_hearing_enableCombatDeafness."

No, the trouble is that there's a lot of interface variation so unless you've done a lot of them you'll probably get it wrong.
Also variation in how routers hand out DHCP addresses.

Hello, I am lookinjg for help with my game. Modded yes, Clean install done. Can launch into the server on, get past the first laoding screen, pick my slot on the server in my squad, then the next loading screen the game freezes.
A little more info re @pastel mural and his post above. he's trying to connect to a server we rent. the server is modded and while I know that mods can cause issues i do not think that the mods are the issue in this instance as myself and several other players are all able to join the server without issue. the issue does not take the form of a error or crash but an endless loading screen and i am not well versed enough on the AMRA 3 client to be able to assist with further diagnostics. any help would be appreciated.

it is possibly your friend has installed mods into the game files so that they always run (not gut)
or they have set up commandline launch parameters for mods (for some weird reason)

You have no guarantee that your users are running what they say (or think) they're running then. Check the RPTs.

By the number of lines of mods in the table a bit down from the top I count 128 mods in the client list, vs. 125 in the server table.
And 115 vs 112 if you cull the lines for Arma 3 itself and it's DLCs.
I suggest you search through those tables yourself and isolate which the client loads extra. Before you give John a brain hemerage digging through the hundred or so mods and billions of warnings and error messages.
and since other players joining that server don't have issues, compare their RPT logfile (and the 2nd table in it) with this troublesome client RPT.
any chance that clearing out his mods folder and reinstalling the modpack might fix it? i aint gonna lie those rpt files are a maze to me and seeing i have medical appointments all of tomorrow and our next event is the day after im wondering if that might offer a time saving solution.
Just scroll down until you find the second table. The first one is at the top. Ignore everything else that you don't understand the meaning of. The table should mostly explain itself.
Clearing his mod folder won't do anything, as Steam/the launcher will re-download anything that is missing but is subscribed to. Somehow he is loading more mods than the server does. That could explain his issues.

MOST LIKELY, the immersion Mod you told, can't say it is the faulty for sure, because we don't know what it is, but, MOST LIKELY, it is a repacked Mod from of bunch of Mods - which means, it can be very outdated unless the "author" updates it. Which is very pointless
And it also can overwrite the existed and "proper dated/officially published" Mod, which can cause such outdated issue

Okay just wanted to make it sure - what exactly is the issue?
streamline servers are great but their steam workshop portal... well it makes me cry at times
hes able to launch the game or was up untill last night (ill deal with getting his game to open as he said it has an error code for that) but the issue was when he would join the server and enter the password he would get to the role selection screen and then select his roles then it would open a laoding screen and that would get stuck there no freezing or crashing up endless loading screen. from my end as zeus i woud see the notice he was joining and then that he had connected and then he would be listed in the scoreboard and appear in the left panel but he would be purple denoted unconcious and his "body" typicall a dead body wearing loadouts that where not allowed on the server woud be in a random location.
sometimes hhis body would not even appear in game only his marker in the left zeus panel and in the scorboard. occasionally he woud then loose connection but most of the times he would just sit there endlessly till he backed out of the server.

I’m using the newest version, and i’m not sure out of my head exactly how but in the editor, u can export it or play it as mp or whatever and you’ll get a pbo file somewhere in ur files, im not exactly sure where.

I mean, like every other arms 3 game server. I have to drag the .pbo file in filezilla from my pc to their mpmissions folder.
Then id to be to the class mission in the server.cfg and change the name of the mission to my mission so it shows up on the left mission panel if that makes sense.
But when i start the server then, it just spams error loading mission.
Then let's try to verify that it is a mission issue or something in your server's. Make an empty mission, export, put the PBO into your server, launch with it

I kind of found the issue. I tried to add an infantry role that arma has itself and that worked. Then i tried to put a infantry role from a mod in and it did the same error.
So i guess it has something to do with the mods. Do i maybe have to put all the mods im using into the server files or?

Just place it down, select playable, export multiplayer, put it in the server and it works.
But if its a character from a mod it doesnt work.
If it is an asset (aka an unit) from a Mod, everyone must have them to load properly

Make the folder if it doesn't exist. If the server you are using the FTP to doesn't allow you because of permissions, then complain to the company that rents the server to you. I don't know why that folder isn't there to begin with on dedicated servers, but it is a fact.

We found the problem, and its that i cannot seem to get the mission with mods to start on the server..
Yeah, that is extremely short. Either you did have that -noLogs commandline parameter activated, or the game crashed, which you would have noticed. So must be the commandline parameter being active.
Cut the table from the RPT file as text. Paste it into another text file and import it into Excel or whatever spreadsheet you use. Often it has a way of detecting where to divide up the lines to get the columns sorted out. After that looks like a properly aligned table again then sort the rows/lines. Do thise for the table in both RPT files. Then it is easier to check off a mod that you confirmed is loaded on both sides.
But yeah, that is the reason why you don't just want to throw a bucketload of mods on a pile and hope it works for all. More mods = more work. And if the server has verifySignatures=2 (and the .bikey files of all mods in it's keys folder) then it would tell the joining player which mods/class names it doesn't make sense of and refuses you to continue to login. But that requires all mods to be signed (correctly) to work.
I'm pretty sure i found it. You can upload the modlist.html to ur directory folder and in my control panel u can full in a name that you are wanting to use, so in this case modlist.html. I start the server, and it starts downloading them and putting them in my directory folder.
What is the actual terrain name that this is playing on? What mod provides it? Scenario names (in PBO form), need to be in the format: yourcustomscenarioname.terrainname.pbo (the template= there in the screenshot should be without .pbo at the end.)
Uzbin is the map.
Its a .pbo file, it just doesn't show the file type in the name itself it is a pbo file.

Ok, just some people neglect to save their custom scenario without the terrainname part of the filename. And then the server/game doesn't know what it is for.

Hi I have an issue, my friend have a dedicated server up and we're playing Antistasi
previously I've been able to join smoothly without any issue
but starting today, my side is acting weird
the server is up and there's 2 people playing in it, both of them are friends on Steam, but when I look up through the friends tab on the server browser, the server doesnt show up
I tried to join by inputing the IP and password through the ingame server and clicking the join button does exactly nothing
then I tried the direct connection through the launcher, I input the IP, port, password
the game does launch, however it feels like its taking a time longer than usual to actually load inside the game
almost as if it is stuck (the Arma III logo when its loading)

Oh, if other remote players can connect to the server then it's something else anyway.

Steam verify Arma. If that doesn't help then you could try sending the crash dump (.mdmp file) to dedmen, although if it's a random time / random situation crash then that's often a hardware fault.
