It may not be for everybody so, but I learned a lot with Pilgrimage (v1.951) by Rydygier. You start with little stuff as gear, and have the whole terrain to find trouble on. At your own pace, unless you get in too deep of it. You start with a boat on islands (other people ported it to other terrains and then you get a rusty car on land-locked terrain). So it can be a bit of a walking sim, though there are vehicles to be found. The goal is to locate your dead brother's body at one of the many churches. And get it off the island/terrain. But everyone is against you. So you need to learn stealth, careful movement and not stumble into trouble. You are often out-numbered but if you keep your smarts you can use your limited weapons (many options to get loot-crates) to the
best benefit and take things out one by one. It's a bit of a Rambo-lifestyle. Not very realistic, but very rewarding if you manage staying alive.

For ace CSW stuff, the ace arsenal info says which tripods match which weapons.
Then self interact to place the tripod, then interact on the tripod to mount the weapon.
CSW magazines might be included, might need to be reloaded either from ground beside or directly.
Mortars are basically the same as all other CSW weapons.

I can spend like 7 hours in a conflict game slowly capturing the bases and I love how I can even leave a vanilla server, go eat, and log back in to the same server and keep my rank and bases

I usually build a light vehicle depot and a supply depot, dump supplies and try to take a nearby base, and by the time I get a couple of kills I’m corporal
The I build an ammo depot, load up and keep pushing

I always use the construction truck quickly too
It’s a good way to extend radio range

I don’t use helicopters that much I gotta say, and I’m getting better at piloting it’s just I can resupply more often and in larger amounts if I do it with transport trucks

Right now I’m trying to make better use of logistics team, seems like even if I give orders I gotta go with em to make sure lol

the most effective way to get that experience to level up, is to do logistics

If you created a mission in the old 2d editor, you are free to open it with eden once it releases. It is fully backwards compatible.

Yeh i think running supplies and getting kills are two of the fastest ways to make rank

Once I’m sgt I usually go one of two ways, either I change to sniper and scope out the next obj or simply recruit some ai and start pushing on it directly
It depends on the map I guess, if the next point is signal hill or something I’ll go with the sniper loadout, but if it’s a town like monti or villenueve I’ll take ai and storm it

Hey guys, I know this question will be more opinion based than factual, but will Arma 3 be worth my money?

I've played a lot of games related to it, I'd say. Enlisted, Battlefield, insurgency sandstorm andWar Thunder. And I'm wondering, is it too realistic, kind of like Hell let loose, or does it keep an arcadey feel like enlisted?

One of the main reasons I'm interested is because of the Antistasi mod, (this might be cringe, but maybe we all relate) sometimes I'll play a singleplayer game, like (brickrigs) and just roleplay by myself by spawning a bunch of vehicles and npcs and pretending I'm taking over a country or fighting back an attack. Usually, people play it more realistically (or pretend to themselves that they do) than HLL.
There are tons of different servers and mods each that are completely different.
Regardless, A3 will never play like any of those games at all.
Antistasi might be what you want, but I don't think anybody (even yourself) can know what you actually want until you try it.

Almost all DLCs (opposite to Creator DLCs) are already integrated to the game. Purchasing them unlocks the contents ingame, but you can still join without any issue

Laptop fans clog up. So you will get temperature issues eventually. And laptop performance is already mediocre. Trust me, if you don't really need to be mobile, then get a proper PC desktop for gaming. Easier to clean inside.

I suppose it depends on which Antistasi version you want to play and whether they chose to use DLC vehicles for their faction use. But generally speaking, you cannot operate DLC vehicles that you didn't buy. You can only be a passenger in it.

Generally if you use faction mods like CUP/RHS/3CBF, Antistasi uses almost everything from those so the DLC doesn't matter. Exception is civvie cars with RHS.

Otherwise DLC only matters when you're playing with vanilla factions.

If you untick everything then there's still a decent quantity of civvie vehicles. DLC adds some extras though.

I’d go dmr since it’s still potent at long ranges but has more close up capabilities

If you enjoy sitting at ranges 300-500m and supporting then SNPR/DMR Rifles otherwise a long barreled Rifle if you intend to infiltrate within 300m but still require pressicion shots

Typically I will use a Long Barreled AR15 platform to have ammo compatibility to my squad and use a 6x-10x powered optic when applicable

On a typical day Effective Accurate fire at greater ranges then a Riflleman. The advantage to a Marksman is the Intel & Accuracy multiplier for other infantry.
You should support and set up opening for assaulting elements by taking out priority threats etc... then inform and relay infomation up and down the command flutes

The alternative is become a JTAC Operator and have a CAS Pilot available 24/7

Compass, Map Planning and strategy before approach.
Maps Mark your OBJ/TGT
Navigate a Plan along that map to favourible positions and mark Ranges on the map.
Once you make it there in whatever mode of transport range out your targets and know tour 8 compass directions of an azimuth point or feature

The way it is created, it needs to support certain mods to provide gear and vehicles for the factions used in it. So it is important to look up with the creators of whatever Antistasi version what mods they support. But yes, it is more likely that mods are used over DLC gear.

You could make one "empty" mod, and put all the other mods as dependencies.
