Hey guys, I’m trying to reach support and I’m stuck. I got an annual charge from Perplexity, but I don’t use it anymore. The payment failed because the card has a limit, but it keeps trying to charge me even though I canceled everything in my profile.

I've got this nagging feeling that Perplexity Pages is a feature that Perplexity neither wants to develop further nor support for much longer. I actually feel like the functionality has gotten worse over time.

I tried creating a Perplexity Page again today and it's honestly not easy. It doesn't take the entire context from a thread, but basically only the last answer to the last question, which makes absolutely no sense. When you want to create a page, you've usually had a longer conversation in a thread and you actually want all the information you've gathered there to be neatly summarized and presented on a Perplexity Page.

And speaking of presentation, the editing functions seem to have been heavily reduced. You can only:

• Generate an image for the title
• Barely edit text, if at all
• Can't add new paragraphs
• Can't create a new paragraph in Pages with the AI
• Can barely generate more images anymore

I don't know, maybe I just didn't really notice it over time, but I'm pretty sure the feature set has been reduced here. It makes me think that Perplexity wants to phase this out so people stop using it because it's no longer useful, and then eventually it'll be discontinued.

What do you guys in the community think? Have you had similar experiences?

The issue is that Perplexity’s global instructions only apply to new threads existing threads don’t automatically update with new personalization settings. That’s why your older spaces aren’t picking up the changes.

If that's the case then pplx will automatically route your request to a model that's suitable for that query among flux, chatgpt, banana nano, seed dream etc, so if u prefer having ur image generating faster then u can try all of the model and then select what fits you the best! here's the first mistake then. perplexity only made a max 6s video again and again with no audio whereas gemini generated the correct video again, I generated this specifically an example only. this happens to me every time when I try to generate.q perplexity always make a 6s video without sound even when i give clear instructions, it just refuses to do it, i've reported it many times but sadly nothing ever happens.

I have a problem using the feature in Labs that let's you create a complete .docx file, when i export from Perplexity the file and put it inside my Google Docs / LibreOffice (I tried both), the formatting isn't the same as the preview on Perplexity that is very good and ordered, when opened to make modifications it's really messy and with different fonts.

guys can someone give me ideas for an issue i'm facing

i use pplx mostly as a startup founder which means i heavily use spaces for product, engineering, sales & gtm etc

so for example, i have a gtm space setup where i've uploaded my pitch deck, customer persona documents, product videos, customer call transcripts etc.

this really helps with personalization, specially on comet, because of the memory and tab history.

now i've made some changes to my product which would slightly alter the product positioning. up till now pplx really understands the current product im building, the customers im going after, the features i have etc. its even got that context in the native memory.

but with the new changes to the product the memory and context it has for my startup is slightly outdated.

i can update the documents like the pitch deck in the spaces, but how do i get the memory up to date? specially there are so many existing threads that reinforce the older version of the product

Hi, I have some clarification questions about Research Mode's context window in Spaces (Pro). Through testing, I noticed some inconsistencies:

1. Input Limit for Text Paste:
   When pasting text directly into a Space with Research Mode, the system converts text to a file at ~40 KB (~40,000 characters / ~16,000 tokens). This is significantly higher than the 8,000 tokens (~20,000 characters) mentioned in the help center. Has this limit been updated recently?

2. Search Mode vs Research Mode - Different Context Windows?
   I noticed the 32k-128k token range is associated with "Search Mode" (where you can choose GPT/Gemini/Claude). But Research Mode in Spaces doesn't show a model selector. Are these two modes using different context windows?

3. Context Window for Research Mode:
   If the input limit is ~16k tokens for Research Mode, and the output needs to maintain quality for complex, detailed prompts (which require larger inputs), doesn't the total context window also need to be larger than 32k? Or is Research Mode using a different context window size?

I have a question about how to improve my MVP in terms of responses. I am using Sonar and have tested Sonar Pro and Sonar Deep Research — the first two together with GPT 5.1.

I am having certain issues when I insert a link: sometimes it says the link is private even though I provide a link that is publicly accessible without any tokens.

PPLX recently changed how their UI handles themes, so the background color is no longer controlled by the same CSS variables as before. That’s why editing it through dev tools isn’t working like it used to.
Just to confirm are you trying to change it using a custom CSS extension (like Stylus), or directly through the browser’s dev tools?
