ChatGPT seems to have longer replies, but they're more dense (like list of items) and don't feel as natural to me as Gemini overall, Gemini usually explains things better and is faster (so you can usually finish a couple of queries in the time it takes for one on ChatGPT, which evens out the breadth of content in responses a bit). You'll see more things in ChatGPT, but they seem to be explained better in Gemini (even though the answer doesn't include as much other things, if that makes sense). From a usage perspective, ChatGPT provides more queries per day/week than Gemini... though it's closer now that Google raised the Flash Thinking limit to 300/day.

If you're looking at multimedia generation (images/video) then that's another thing to compare, but I don't use that too much.

I’m done. Antigravity just became a $20 paperweight. The "Bait and Switch" is real.

But if you're just using LLMs, and you use less than 25/month in API costs (also considering the 5.5% fee that OpenRouter takes unless you bring your own key[s]), then you can carry over the unused balance on OpenRouter, which is pretty compelling.

If you have a clear idea about what you're doing, maybe in Perplexity Labs or something would be best. I'd recomend something simple to try like doing one in Unity (there are many tutorials for analyzing music and creating visualizers for it, and some sample projects on github). But keep in mind Perplexity isn't primarily for development... with Pro, you'd only get 25-50 Labs queries per month, and many people have reported that simply performing regular searches also reduced their Labs quota for some reason.

So it's definitely not the best platform for doing that.

The last time I used Deep Research, on January 3rd, it pulled over 100 sources twice... are you using the "Research" option with a good prompt (I tend to generate a prompt tailored for Deep Research prior to running it, as having a comprehensive prompt can impact the results greatly)

Bare minimum is contact the payment processor (PayPal, the bank, the card company) and tell them to not authorize any more transactions. Let them know that you've contacted the merchant (Perplexity) with no ticket number (if you don't have any) and no human reply, and have not received service. The bank may not be able to refund all purchases (as that's supposed to be reported within a certain amount of time) but they might be able to refund the most recent couple - and they can put a stop on further charges from that merchant. As a final step, see: https://consumer.ftc.gov/articles/what-do-if-youre-billed-things-you-never-got-or-you-get-unordered-products

The payment processor can refund the past 60 days, and stop further charges, but PPLX will have to do more than that if applicable.
