i did try the full Windsurf app too and that was good, but atm I'm happy with Visual Studio Code and just using the auto complete from the Windsurf plugin

but in regards to use perplexity with code, i am constantly pasting code in their all the time, or asking questions, or asking if it can think of better ways to organise logic etc

i just use whatever is in front of me... chatgpt, gemini... they all work well

if you're using it to generate entire projects from scratch that might be where some have better strengths

but using them just as a tool, nearly everything is super useful
