I've read the article. It's an okay response and I hope Perplexity is following up with BrowserBase so that they can respect the robots information.

The real issue, to me, is that many websites get payment in the form of human visitors being shown adds. AI tools don't show the adds to the humans. Perplexity should have addressed that AND used this as a marketing opportunity for their own payment system they are coming up with. Missed opportunity.
