Hi, I've been on the Pro plan, but I started looking in the model usage, and I believe you are using cheaper models as stated. Here's the load parameters, showing that you call claude-2 instead of claude-4-sonnet. This is common across all models (using gemini 2 flash instead of gemini 2.5 pro).

I checked out https://www.perplexity.ai/rest/user/settings and see that it deducts a pro_query for it as well. Just wanted to get thoughts on it

I know this is a couple of months old but want to chime in that the issues with Proton VPN are driving me insane. It seems that connecting to servers outside the US lets me use Perplexity Pro without it stopping responding midway through, but that’s not a solution that’s always practical as it creates other issues with other apps/services from using a service from outside the US.

I can always go in my message history and see that the complete response has generated, but it will always pause mid-response from within the chat thread.

It’s super frustrating. I really like Perplexity but am pretty much giving up and going back to ChatGPT and Nano-GPT as the services I keep paying for.

That seems more like an issue with the VPN provider than Perplexity, I've had plently of issues with Proton VPN in the past things like using twitter, reddit etc. I would just switch VPN services at this point

it appears to be actually just a more efficient way to upload attachments that happen to be in your eg. Google Drive
iiuc, you could achieve exactly the same thing (manually) by just downloading the file(s) from Google Drive and then attaching them as usual
