I see that the Research feature does a good job searching fairly deep, but I can't help but feel it could do more.

Here's why I say that. You.com came up with ARI, which can search across up to 500 sources and produce a beautiful PDF at the end. Google Gemini does a very thorough job (as always) and allows you to export it as a Google Doc. Even OpenAI's Deep Research is very thorough and can even produce a fairly crude PDF.

I know there is a way to export an answer as PDF, Markdown, DOCX, or a Perplexity Page, but when you pick PDF, the output is ... plain. No pictures, charts, or nice formatting. If you look at ARI, you will see that it produces long, detailed, and beautiful PDFs. I was hoping Perplexity would have something similar on their roadmap, since this would be a huge addition to support their mission of catering to curiosity, democratizing knowledge, and making something truly personal for their users.
