If you use an input image and a prompt, the pplx AI will first "summarize" your request and create a new prompt. This will be the AI prompt used for GPT-1.

It will use your input but it has already crippled your ask by trying to "optimize" it.

Honestly, if you want consistent image-to-image generation - just use comfyui and Flux.1 Dev locally. You wont find anything better (yet) that will do what you need.
