Hello im Nicole a single mother of 3 using AI to teach me everything about marketing online, ecommerce and social media brand building. I generally use ChatGPT for most of my learning but ive used a little of all of the AI systems out. Gemini, Chatgpt, Copilot, Claude, and many many others. Now im trying out Perplexity but im new to it so if youve got any tips or short rundown how best to use it to get the most out of it id appreciate any and all info. Any secret tricks to using it or cool features you like that sets it apart from the others? Fun fact before i started w AI learning everything online I barely had a facebook page and that was all i knew essentially. Now i cam build websites on multiple different sites like wordpress, hostinger, b12 etc and ive built a blog page on wordpress and write for medium. I know a little coding and have some thriving social media pages. I recieved a year of perplexity for free theough paypal and while exploring the app i found this link. Thanks for being here and all your extra info wouid really help.

My first computer experience was a middle school classmate programming a computer to play digital “Rollerball” in ~1977. The first computer I used was a Macintosh Plus in 1987. When I learned about wysiwyg.

I first used AI for real during 5-hour drives commuting between home in the Texas Hill Country and work in Dallas. ChatGPT audio mode.

But Perplexity won me over with its robust research and attributions/footnotes.

Now, only it and Grok don’t balk when I use them to build my new fintech solution for nonprofits. ChatGPT and Claude put up barriers where they don’t need to be. Perplexity’s intelligence and speed have been game changers for me.

Hello! I am from the USA. A fun fact about me is that I used to do Kung Fu, but decided to do Krav Maga now. I also used to have a pet hedgehog named Pickles! She passed away a year ago or so, I miss her a lot. I use Perplexity for random things, like last night when I made the mistake of washing a bunch of new black colored clothing together with white logos and it bled into the logo so I needed advice and it solved the issue hahah. I also use it frequently while trying to learn languages on my own during my free time (currently it’s Russian). What brought me to this server is curiosity and I like to join communities where I interact with what the community is based upon. Nice to meet you all!
