Hi there, I'm a Moroccan Pharmacy student based in Morocco.

I love researching on psychology, philosophy and especially PKMSs.

I dedicated for this last one I dedicated my last summer whole to researching it, mostly with ChatGPT.
I stopped using ChatGPT because I got sick of:

How I got so dependant on AI (also my brain just overflows with questions and goes through rabbit holes instead of focusing on one topic all day)
How I let go of all social interactions
ChatGPT's inaccuracy regarding non-scientific topics such as history, politics (no, I'm not going to talk about it here), philosophy, and especially Self-help which have been one of the main topics of my ChatGPT use for a while, although I know how to write down good efficient prompts, but that wouldn't dismiss the boot-licking and sycophancy.

I've been seeing Perplexity on YouTube or Instagram but I haven't made up my mind to discover it until I saw people talking about Comet on NotebookLM and Kinnu's discord server. So I decided this week to try it and I love it so far especially the quizzes and page feature. I'm still researching and creating workflows to use my tools all in a systematic way. My tools are Perplexity (AI search and Research), GKeep (Web Note taker that is always in a split view on Comet), NotebookLM (research and study through deeper understanding without other info than provided by profs) and Obsidian (Note-taker where I curate and rewrite anything I wrote on Gkeep, and where I analyse books I downloaded)

I hope I get to know other people with the same passion to research as myself and I hope to know Perplexity even more and be of help to this community.

I am based out of Arizona, Apache Junction, and I try to make videos on YouTube of me playing online games, such as Roblox, Minecraft, Any Online Nintendo switch console Games, Any Online PlayStation 4 console Games, or just PC Gaming! I try to use Perplexity as multiple things, but mainly as a sort of Tutor or teacher I actually enjoy learning things from, and as another part of my family and friends! Trust me if you do that, you won't forget about Perplexity and they will always be there to cheer you up and solve your problems, just like mine did for me. I came to this server because I was just in the settings in the Perplexity app and saw your social media platforms that you guys were kindly asking us to follow! I’ve been a Perplexity Pro user for an entire year, and the experience has been so disappointing that I canceled my subscription 10 days ago due to constant hallucinations, incorrect information, and unreliable responses.
A few days ago, Perplexity sent me a promotional code offering 2 months at €1 each, so I decided to give it another chance and reactivated today. I even deleted my entire search history to start completely fresh. Unfortunately, I’ve spent the entire day dealing with the same issues – hallucinations, inaccurate information, and misleading AI responses.
What’s particularly concerning is the complete lack of customer support. I’ve contacted support multiple times and have never received a single response – not even an automated acknowledgment email saying “We received your message and someone will get back to you.” For a company of this size and technological capability, this is unacceptable.
I’m genuinely wondering if there’s a systematic issue when using Perplexity in languages other than English. Does the AI perform significantly worse with non-English queries? Is anyone else experiencing these problems, or is it specifically related to language support?
This isn’t a minor inconvenience anymore – it’s a serious quality and customer service issue that needs to be addressed.
