I'm Craig. I found this app with Google Play store. May I add after a great deal of app research and reading through similar AI apps and trialling some too. I found this app to so far be the better of them all, well so far so good I'm pleased at the setup and the information given from everything I throw at it,lol. The poor AI, I open it and throw some long bloody code which I've zero idea what it is. Yet always it gets around the harder stuff like that example with codes and all the computer talk which cannot just simply be read like text. It needs to be converted and firstly before conversion it needs to be identified aswell. So yes I am proud of perplexity very much.

hej! I signed up for pro to prepare for an exam I will have in a couple weeks. I upload course slides and other documents for perplexity to use as sources, then ask the ai questions that might get asked during the exam. It can use the uploads and the wider net to answer the questions. Next thing I will have to do is fact check the ai answers. This way, I don't have to start from a blank slate, I can correct answers instead of having to sift through the slides myself, and by doing this, I fortify the content. Also, the ai always comes up with new interesting questions, from which I can even use some for the above process.
I love to live in the future, when the future is now!

The pro version can do its own research and I can ask follow up questions. For example, I just asked it about tackling new enum value breaking client, the answer is well thought with steps and pros and cons, well done! Btw, Jensen Huang is proactively advertising perplexity now, love it!

I've been using Perplexity for about a week now. I'd heard of it for a while but with all the noise surrounding AI it can be difficult finding just the right fit. I had pro subscriptions to 4 different AI services and Perplexity has replaced 2. I utilized ChatGPT for coding, mathematics, etc. I used Copilot for when I needed quality sources around a subject. I have Gemini but it's tied to my storage plan so I can't cancel it. I kept Copilot because of its integration with Windows applications.
Perplexity has surpassed my expectations, however. The quality of sources and accuracy in linking them along with providing follow-up questions in a query are awesome. Granted, I never had an issue with coming up with my own follow-up questions, but it's nice to see choices of questions I may not have thought of.

I heard a speaker at Rotary discuss AI. This speaker was an investor in businesses that work with AI. Shortly after, I attended a local university seminar that offered a continuing legal education seminar about AI. I started with CoPilot, part of my MS 365 subscription, but I recently downloaded it and switched to Perplexity. My early usage was of their labs after I watched a video from George Hotz in which he talked about how he stopped using ChatGPT in favor of Mistral 8x7b on Perplexity Labs. I have used a lot of enterprise IT products and I don’t impress easily. However, Perplexity AI is more than amazing, and in my opinion, not only are AI features extremely valuable but competes directly with Google and Microsoft’s CoPilot on the IOS platform. IHi 🙂 I struggle to find an easy way to change ai model in spaces when usin my apple app. I change the model from default to Sonnet, and the Sonnet choice generalized over to all my Spaces, not limiting itself to the Space which I made the choice for. It's all I use now, and I recently bought Pro and added the extension to my browser. I'm low-income, so I was hesitant to spend $20 per month on Pro, but I use it enough that I think it will be worth it.

Hello! I just learned about Perplexity earlier today, thanks to a collaboration between them and my mobile phone provider which granted me a promotional Pro license for the next year. It was reported by some local (Brazil) tech outlets I follow as being quite a big deal, so I decided to check it out.
As a chronic Wikipedia user (I spend 2 to 3 hours there daily), my very first queries already revealed I would be having fun with this tool. And, upon further investigation, I realized I could also use Perplexity for my current main objective, which is to find a job as quickly as possible, and a minor side project, to effectively incorporate a Personal Knowledge Management and note taking tool into my day to day life (I'm going with Obsidian, been using it on and off for a couple of years).
I'm sure I'll find many other uses for this seemingly very powerful tool, and look forward to it!

Hi! I honestly don't remember how I found Perplexity specifically, probably just trying different AI sites. I've been using LLMs for a lot over the last year. Everything from generating things for work to personal projects.
I'm currently developing a strategy for my Spaces, specifically using a React app that helps you build characters in the Dragon AGE tabletop RPG. I love the spaces functionality and think it's going to be a hugely useful tool.

Hi, I am new to Perplexity and have a link for one year pro, but haven't activated it yet. I'm just finishing a course on Udemy about Perplexity so want to complete that first before I start my pro plan as I want to make the best of the subscription. I first heard about Perplexity in Genealogy circles. So hope to use it for research and writing citations. But I know I'll have a lot of other use cases. I have a role in my Church and do a great deal of writing and social media and also have an online business.
