As a senior AI/ML engineer, I have been working for 10 years for developing AI-driven
applications and system design architecture to ensure streaming and consistency between distributed components within system.

I solved some challenges that remains on developing ML systems with advanced tech and implemented MLOps/devOps best practices.

Also, I have a hands-on experience with developing AI agents with Langchain, Llama-index, down stream tasks such as developing Multimodal LLM, computer vision tasks, Fine tuning LLM using Tensorflow, pythorch and scikit-learn and python backend framework.

I developed the valuable AI agent and bot for use cases for customized conversational AI solutions, domain-specific chatbots, text classification, language translation, question-answering personalized recommendation systems, and even healthcare and marketing automation applications.

With deep understanding of Transformer architecture and speech recognition, I developed fast, and extensible multimodal LLM that can understand text as well as human speech, without the need for a separate Audio Speech Recognition (ASR) stage. On this project, after research like AudioLM, SeamlessM4T, Gazelle, SpeechGPTs, I have extended Meta's Llama 3 model with a multimodal projector that converts audio directly into the high-dimensional space used by Llama 3. This direct coupling allows this to respond much more quickly than systems that combine separate ASR and LLM components.

Innovatively, this multi modal LLM can natively understand the paralinguistic cues of timing and emotion that are omnipresent in human speech.

Also, I focused on working with the advanced RAG system for improving the accuracy rate to 97% by integrating with various techniques at each steps and I used best fit techniques for developing agent usecase., deeplake, knowledge Graph, langGraph with RAG, and using ReRank, expending query, self query and multi-vector-retriever...

I thoroughly monitor and evaluate the experiments using Cuda-enabled Nvidia A100, Comet ML’s experiment tracker and save the best model to Comet’s model registry. (deployed on Qwak, AWS)
and deploy it as a REST API on Qwak.

Additionally, have extensive experience in managing and maintaining server infrastructure, cloud architecture, and automation for high-performance AI applications, specialize in building microservices and cloud-based solutions on AWS, GCP and Azure.

I'm a CIO for a hospital, almost retired and will be an art student. So I'm interested in AI powered search both in the medical as in the art domain. As a hospital we are interested in using AI to help find information faster but have to clear away from using it as a Medical Device since then the MDR compliance becomes an issue. So it's mostly for research and not to check or interpret medical data from a specific patient.

Hi, I'm Curtis but I go by "purée". I'm an enthusiast, in that I play with frontier models (like Claude) and small models (using ollama on my laptop). I signed up as part of the Uber One deal and am thus far pretty impressed. Only for the last few days have I been forcing myself to use Perplexity in place of Google, so it will take me a while to forge an opinion of how good it is for search. Wishing I had tried non-Pro version first so I knew the differences.

Hello community! I am a LinkedIn Premium member and recently received a promotional year long pro license along with it. But the code never worked and I get an error message.

When logged in Perplexity, it also says in a pop up that I am eligible for a free pro subscription but the code that I got in email from LinkedIn does not work.

Did this happen to anyone? Any ideas what I can do about it.

Hello all! I heard about Perplexity from a work colleague and saw there was some additional buzz about it from the Rabbit R1 device launch. As a senior AI/ML Full stack engineer, I have been working for 10 years to develop AI-driven
applications and system design architecture to ensure streaming and consistency between distributed components within the system.

I solved challenges in developing ML systems with advanced tech and implemented MLOps/DevOps best practices.

Also, I have hands-on experience with developing AI agents with Langchain, Llama-index, downstream tasks such as developing Multimodal LLM, computer vision tasks, and Fine-tuning LLM using Tensorflow, python, and scikit-learn and Python backend framework.

I developed a valuable AI agent and bot for use cases for customized conversational AI solutions, domain-specific chatbots, text classification, language translation, question-answering personalized recommendation systems, and even healthcare and marketing automation applications.

With a deep understanding of Transformer architecture and speech recognition, I developed a fast, and extensible multimodal LLM that can understand text as well as human speech, without the need for a separate Audio Speech Recognition (ASR) stage. In this project, after research like AudioLM, SeamlessM4T, Gazelle, and SpeechGPTs, I have extended Meta's Llama 3 model with a multimodal projector that converts audio directly into the high-dimensional space used by Llama 3. This direct coupling allows this to respond much more quickly than systems that combine separate ASR and LLM components.

#

Innovatively, this multi-modal LLM can natively understand the paralinguistic cues of timing and emotion that are omnipresent in human speech.

Also, I focused on working with the advanced RAG system to improve the accuracy rate to 97% by integrating with various techniques at each step using Euclidean, and cosine similarity and I used best-fit techniques for developing agent use case., deep lake, Knowledge Graph, langGraph with RAG, and using ReRank, expending query, self query, and multi-vector-retriever...

I thoroughly monitor A/B testing and evaluate the experiments using Cuda-enabled Nvidia A100, Comet ML’s experiment tracker, and save the best model to Comet’s model registry. (deployed on Qwak, AWS)
and deploy it as a REST API on Qwak.

Additionally, have extensive experience in managing and maintaining server infrastructure, cloud architecture, and automation for high-performance AI applications, specializing in building microservices and cloud-based solutions on AWS and Azure.

Hi, I am trying out the various AI's for writing programs.

They are getting better all the time(!). They can do much of the grunt work, but in the end it can be easier to tweak code by hand than try to explain to an AI what you actually want to achieve in detail.

With AI doing the grunt work, it is not clear how new/junior developers will get started in future.

Hello. I found perplexity after searching for an AI that would help me generate some therapy notes and format my notes in a nicer way. And now I am addicted and can't stop. I have the pro version and love everything. I use it every single day.

HI, I am looking at Perplexity as a possible tool for our students to use when they begin research. I am the library director at a pre-k through 12th grade private school. I do have a question regarding copyright. If I download a JSTOR article from our JSTOR database and I use that article and have Perplexity create keywords and overall concepts from that article, is that a violation of JSTOR's copyright? What I mean is, do you keep a copy of that article? Do you keep a copy of any personal document that I submit to be analyzed?

I've been using Perplexity as a filter step when asking study related tasks, as opposed to using the raw models. I really like how it can build on the model's answer with actual sources - 4o's hallucinations regarding technical subjects were a problem.

My passions are robotics and tinkering with electronics and technology!!

I was a Maker before making was a thing.

I enjoy using Arm-based SBCs and microcontroller boards in robots and other projects. I think Arm is where it is all at! All of my robots use Arm-based controllers. I am self-taught in robotics and mostly in electronics.

There have been many times when I have done what people tell me is impossible before I knew it was supposed to be impossible. This is what I do. 😉 😉

I come at problems and projects from very different directions than most people.

I do not see things the same way you do.

My current and only project at this time is the Robot Smart Home Controller.

Believe I downloaded Perplexity and did not really use it until I purchased rabbit one which encouraged me to sign up for a pro account as a gratuity. Right away I started to use Perplexity as my homepage in Safari and other browsers. It has done some amazing things.

I have always been somewhat of a geek and really love it when Apple introduces new operating systems and gadgets. I have used Perplexity to do things for me that have made my life much easier in certain aspects.

My work spans various projects such as our Cabinet Automation System, Office Automation System, and the Nagarik App—a citizen-centric mobile application for government services. I'm particularly passionate about leveraging AI to enhance public service delivery while ensuring ethical implementation and robust governance frameworks.

I'm deeply interested in AI safety and its intersection with public policy. As I look forward to pursuing PhD research in AI and governance in the future, I'm keen to join AI initiatives and fellowship programs that can deepen my understanding and contribute to this critical field.

Hi guys , thank you for the invite , my name is Joe or dfsjoeyog on social. I am part of the 100k club on draftkings and FanDuel. I have been playing daily fantasy and sports books since they became legal in Illinois. I had an extremely complex , time consuming , unique but most importantly winning strategy to my research. I love tech and when open Ai was introcuced to the public I was obsessed. I’m sharing this because what I’ve done is to that 8 hour long daily research method and coded it into a chat bot named #thegoatgambler last year it was predicting NFL games down to the script and score. I’d love to meet someone else in this room who has the same interest. My goal is to have my full time profession be AI custom consulting. Helping people create custom bots in order to make their life easier, keep their jobs , entertain them , and maybe even help them keep someone alive. I have a 2 part system and would like to combine Dfsjoey LLC and CHaiCago Consulting into that business. I taught myself prompt engineering back then and tried out various AI applications, and I got stuck with Perplexity. I mainly use it for research. Hey everyone, I'm Myron and I go by the Black Autistic Polymath.

I've got this wild idea that's been bouncing around in my head. I'm thinking it might actually be possible to tackle a self-directed dissertation or research project on my own. I know, I know - it sounds like a massive undertaking, and trust me, I'm under no illusions about how challenging it'll be.

But here's the thing - I'm really passionate about this, and I'm ready to put in the work. I'm just not sure where to start, you know? If any of you have experience with high-level research or know some good resources for learning those skills, I'd be incredibly grateful for any advice.

I'm particularly interested in hearing about tools that could help me along the way. Maybe there are some cool tech solutions out there that I haven't discovered yet?

Anyway, I appreciate any insights you all might have. Thanks for hearing me out!
