#Flint in altar reset/refreshed
1 messages ยท Page 1 of 1 (latest)
From conversation in #troubleshooting:
- Dug out flint and replaced with dirt
- Upon reentering game, flint was back
- Trees and stones removed after flint was removed were still gone.
- Flint was completely inside the altar range, near the middle.
Okay @upper prairie - if you could, would you zip up your save files and put them in here along with your log file (if you haven't logged out and back in since you noticed this) and your DxDiag.
Instructions on where to find these are here: https://enshrouded.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/9767167725853-Reporting-Bugs
when im trying to download my cloud files there is error 404 not found
Your files are on your computer (with cloud on) they are located in your stem directory here: ..\Steam\userdata\[YourSteamID]\1203620\remote
(YourSteamID is your unique Steam ID number)
"If you have Steam Cloud active, please also check this URL and download & attach the most recent files from before and after the issue occurred:"
The save files are also located on your system in the directory I listed. You can zip those.
All the files are the same in both locations.
The save file is from the wrong folder. If your steam is installed on your C: drive it should be located here: ``c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata[YourSteamID]\1203620\remote`
The folder you zipped up was empty except for a settings file.
Nope that's perfect. Thank You.
I have notified the team at Keen about this, as it's a strange one, and not supposed to happen - If they need anything else or have any questions they will respond in this thread.
also if you get any more information, it happens again, or anything else, you can update it here.
also i will mention that in this case there is some kind of issue i can destroy the hallow halls walls next to "barrier" which didnt occur while we start playing and im not modding/cheating anything
Yeah, that's not a bug. Anything can be destroyed except for a couple of very specific buildings
if I am understanding the posts outside of this thread, there is mention of a server being used and that removing the ore was the last thing that was changed before stopping the server. is that correct, or am i misreading?
i remove all stuff like stones, trees etc and at end ore then i turn on the server off and when i came back today the ore was there while i did cover the holes after mining
It sounds like maybe the server did not save so it loaded an earlier save. How did you stop it?
well i did go to main menu and turn the game off
will try later to dig it again and turn game off and check if it will happen again
well i found out now that the top layer did return to original state but deeper i did go it was like i left it dig out before turning off the server sorry for confusion but i did level down the surface so it should not show again
