#Crashing issue since patch

Hi @drifting ledge - can you please include a copy of your log in this thread:
Open your file explorer:
Navigate to your Steam folder, by default, it should be in C:\Program Files.
Find the following file:
[...]\Steam\steamapps\common\Enshrouded\enshrouded.log
Drag your log file into this window.
Out of curiosity, do these crashes seem to happen more frequently when you are taking focus off the game, like when alt-tabbing, in another window or when an overlay is coming up?
Nope! They happen when Im in game.
I am seeing you have an integrated graphics card that does not appear to be disabled. This could be the cause, if the game is trying to run using it.
I am also seeing that only 9 gigs of your ram is available on game start which would imply that you have a lot of other stuff running, other software or a lot of browser windows that could be eating up too much system memory and causing it to crash.
Hm, weird. Ive been closing down everything before opening Enshrouded, thinking that might be the crash reason
I would first go into device manager and right click on your integrated graphics card to make sure windows is disabling it if you don't use that for anything else. (Since you have the 4070 it's not required unless you specifically have displays plugged into it)
I would also look for background programs that might be running on system start that aren't necessary. These can eat a lot of system memory.
and I am seeing failures to access the memory in here.
I would start with those two. if they don't resolve the issue, then we can look further into it and see if we can't figure out what is going on here.
Hey there @drifting ledge - could you tell me if any of the suggestions from Kira helped you?
Hi @bronze cedar ! I've had much better performance after Disabling my integrated card and removing some background programs, although I have still expierenced a mini dump crash.
Crash after following the above advice:
Forgive this if I have already asked this - did you go through all the fixes in the /minidump command already? Specifically LiAnDrY's tool?
I did!
okay. Have you already installed the latest version of Vulkan runtime from this location? https://vulkan.lunarg.com/sdk/home
for windows systems you are looking at the third one down in the left column:
Morning! I have the most recent Vulkan and I’m
Now expierencing the crash more.
Can anyone help with this at all? I have run the / mini dump thing too but still not working
Can you please post this in the main #troubleshooting channel and I'll make a thread for you?
Okay give me one sec to refamiliarize myself with what is going on here.
Is there any pattern to when your game crashes, like a certain location, after a certain amount of time or while doing something specifically?
I've been in Thornhold, building a fun little village! And it's usually around 15-20 minutes
Can you do me a favor and download GPU-Z and run it while you are running the game? Keep the "sensors" tab open and expanded to show everything in there, and when you crash again, would you be able to take a screenshot of what is displayed in there?
Absolutely! Im in office, but Ill try that tonight!
