Ok ive looked and looked for an answer to this but nothing is clear. When a weapon says "+14 piercing armor" does that increase my piercing armor while using it, does it do more damage to enemies resistant to piercing, or something else entirely?

The armor obviously applies to whoever gets hit by it.

What? Theres no effin way a weapon applies resistance/armor towards a certain type of damage to a foe!

It's supposed to increase your character's armor while wearing the weapon. Tho it's a bad stat.
Also cutting armor has the icon for blunt armor (and others are mixed up aswell) so it might also all be mixed up in game code, if it even works properly at all. It needs testing (the armor bonus doesn't show up in the character defence stats).

Yea thats what confused me the most is it not showing in the stats. That and ive got daggers that do 31 dam with +14 piercing and daggers that do 30 dam and the one that does 30 dam is doing hit point damage to enemies.

I purposely placed an altar with a work bench near a set of rib cages just for that material, carry 3 picks on me, then repair when I need to. Very minimal walking to the resource, then when back pack is full, head back to base.

My build with rested buff and food buffs gives me about 2.75 rings of stamina and has a pretty quick recovery time.

There's 2 main issues with World Saves that Keen is working in improving. Steam Cloud vs local and which are you getting when grabbing someone else's files is problem #1. The 2nd issue is Keen had to add this convoluted auto save system that bloated the Save files from 2 to 22 files because there were issues with people losing their progress, repeatedly. The auto save mechanic was always meant to be a stop gap and until they figure out all the issues on the back end, that PDF Kitiri made is the most comprehensive set of instructions to deal with the whole mess we have for saves.

However, Enshrouded is simply a much better version of Minecraft in many ways, least of all the fact that the blocks are smaller, which means you need to give a build more detail, which means more math for circular tower builds

I’m not sure it would apply with enshrouded but downloading cheat engine with some games can be risky if the game is an online/multiplayer. Obviously if you can turn off the online/multiplayer and be careful with how you download so you don’t corrupt files etc then you may be fine. There’s gamers that have been using it to build more freely. But I’m not a pro with it and I don’t wanna mess anything up.

Overall this game was and still is such a huge relief after all those competitive games.
We started on 25th of September, and in like 5-7 days we (both) had 50+ hours of playtime, which is still crazy to me, but was 100% worth it.

Well, there's no rules against using the Builders Companion tool. Keen has stated they allow mods and will probably add mod support in the future.

You choosing not to use it is your choice and you're allowed that, however you set the limitation yourself.

Yea I recognize that it is not illegal or against tis but I watched videos on using the mods and they do not seem very straight forward or user friendly. Ya im dumb so screw me I get it but I don't understand why there are so many props that vanilla users cannot use when apparently it wasn't that hard for modders to make it possible.

The devs are focused on developing the game and finishing the product. Yes they add new props and such with each patch but wasting time adding every single prop that's in-game to crafting is not a good use of time.

As of this patch there's 255 props craftable. And even more not craftable and EVEN MORE in the next patch.

Dont get me wrong its the best sandbox game I have ever played and have 600 hours in it. I just get frustrated seeing these crazy builds that I literally could only accomplish with mods. Best example, Red glass. I totally support the modding community. It helps make a lot of games better.

I imagine you can't craft everything because there's just more important priorities. For example they've overhauled a bunch of core systems like the entire crafting UI. Making the UI and core systems is super important more than having every last prop available.

This should save the area at the bottom to use in the contest, but make sure you store any items that are in the higher level flame area before you delete or you'll lose everything you placed

you have a way out: build an air/flying castle))) to "fly into the sky" you will need several first-level altars and several thousand building blocks made of any material. first, place an altar on the ground, then build a ladder from it "into the sky" until the game says that you need to "expand your zone of influence". after that, at the highest accessible point, place a second altar and make a couple of floor tiles around it so that you have a place to stand. after that, go down and put out the altar that is on the ground. after that, carefully climb up, removing the lower ladders along the way. when you reach the second altar. then build a new "ladder to the sky" from it until you reach the "limit" again. then repeat again and again until you are at the desired height) after that, strengthen the altar to the maximum value and build your castle in the air right in the sky)))) at the maximum level of strengthening, the altar "illuminates" the construction zone in the form of a cube measuring 40x40x40 large tiles with an altar in the center, i.e. up / down / to the sides from the central altar of the maximum level, you can put 19.5 large tiles. you can "go" not from the bottom up, but climb the rocks and "go" from the edge of the cliff into the air))) a large tile is 8x8 blocks

Mods have their fun and places, but I think they're more for after the game releases than when in Early Access. I mean, how many games have you played with mods and the next update completely borked everything? Valheim keeps having this with all their mods. You should take care with them when huge updates are planned.

Although, in the case of Valheim, they take over a year for each big patch, so a mod that keeps you engaged isn't as risky.

The thing about mods in EA is that they color the feedback you can give to the devs. If you install a mod that changes a feature, you might not be as incentivized to request it from the devs, or the mod can create a problem you mistake for a bug and report. I feel that, for the purposes of what EA is actually about, abstaining from mods is the better path.

I usually play without mods) I tried to install mods only with games from the "scrolls" series)) but I try not to get carried away) in principle, Skyrim suited me in general in the form in which it was) but I always had the console ready))) since I was constantly "pursued" by dragons, in any of the "swims")) and they simply mowed down NPCs in "open" villages and towns... therefore, after the harmful lizard once again killed several NPCs in Helgen right after "getting to know" the dragons and shouting "Dovakiin", the resurrection command was always ready for use) but this is the only thing I used from the console)))

Totally agree with this. I have major issues with jumping and cannot get the jump pads to work right even if I get to them. They always launch me in an awkward direction. This as well as problems with heights to begin with are my greatest weaknesses. I have tried to do this spire off and on since the Blackmire update and still have not been able to so it. At this point I am going to have to wait for a cheat or console commands if I ever want to get this spire. It is game breaking for me as I get so frustrated I just quit playing for periods of time where I would otherwise be enjoying the game.

The points of "nah, screw this" I most indulge in are the Western Sun Temple and Deepcut.

Before I built a tower to fly into the treasure cave, there was a wooden palisade with a wonderfully convenient ledge you can stand on. Chop that down with an axe, run along the wall, scoot into the cave, grab the treasure, leave, and all without spilling a drop of blood, yours or the scavengers'.

For the Sun Temple... sure, you COULD go through all three areas to reach the switches to open the front door, the puzzles and enemies and so forth. You could do that, sure. Or you could grab a pickaxe, tear through one of the windows in the main temple, and grab the treasure that way.
