I think they will. I feel like pathing was slightly better before the major update. Then it broke to where nobody was sleeping in their beds. Then it got patched so that they're mostly sleeping in their beds, but seems like still some fixing needed.

I was wondering wtf NAMA was and am surprised that The Finals hasn’t shut down yet and still don’t have an answer.

pretty impressed 35 hours of playtime in but I really hope they improve on the combat the most.
mobs are dumb to ranged attacks but that's not even my main gripe
I got lul'd into thinking this game is too easy, so ramped up the difficulty very early on but quantity of lvl 9 mobs in solo play vs the amount of skill options you have is pretty dreadful.
The game partly suggests it has an identity with sneak and sneak strike but there's extremely little mechanics helping with that and grappling hook use being strictly tied with the bar only...
if mobs are very plentiful and hard to kill, one of them will shout, no way to cancel it, like is it too hard an idea to switch to wand and consume a sleep or some other neat cc.
In short, just really think the game desperately needs a combat identity to elevate it to the heights of a must play game.

They’re overhauling the combat before 1.0 and other systems. Though I don’t know to what degree. They’re staunch believers that the game should be open to casuals, so I’m not very optimistic that it’ll get any more complex.

That’s fine, there’s other things to do and not every game needs to be Dark Souls level difficulty.

Keen has done an amazing job on the game, but a majority of the content, features and systems feel as if they were released after someone thought “good enough” and maybe they’ll go back and improve upon it later.

I say that as someone with over 2000 hours in the game and have maintained the wiki, so it’s with love.

Why is bow damage a stat for arm armor if ranged damage is a stat for them too? The ranged damage stat is universal for ranged weapons but the bow one is only for bows.. if they happen to have the same % value theres no reason to pick the bow damage over general range damage

You can't repair a broken torch, but one you still have can be restored to "full health" easily

the wailing blade is super easy to get early game, and light is as good as a torch

the torch is acting like a weapon when durability is turned on. As long as you have the torch (not the broken one, the real working one) it can be repaired to full HP at any workbench or anvil. It has a hidden durability bar that will get back to 100% once you do so.

hailscourge has a better white light though, but you need to be a tiny bit higher level to get it ~11

Bought the game 4 days ago. Great game. played 4 hours on day one, ran great. Now on day four it takes seconds for the inventory icons to populate when I look at inventory or inspect drops. you are not getting banned on a depot server, you can take as much as you want. You could be considerate of others and leave some, or you don't and take it all (looking at you, giant magic chests )

the serverlist is wonky. Usually loading the serverlist, backing out to main menu and going into the serverlist again fixes that for me

There are 10 Save Slots available for your game worlds.
Save Slots:

Backups:

• Each slot has 10 rotating copies numbered 0-9.
  The file at index 0 has no suffix, but is still part of the rotation.
• The game references the file listed in the -index file.
• Every 10 minutes, a new copy is created, pushing the oldest out of rotation.
• There is no distinct "primary" save—whichever file the -index file points to is loaded.

Managing Saves

Transferring Saves:

• This must be done whilst the game is closed.
• To share a save, copy the latest world save I.E (3ad85aea-7).
• Dedicated servers only use Slot 1. Rename a save file to match Slot 1 if needed.
• Files can be renamed to move them between slots.

Rolling Back to an Older Save:

• Open the -index file in a text editor.
• Find the line "latest": X (where X is a number from 0-9).
• Change it to the desired backup index and save the file.

Additional Notes

• The -info file contains metadata (like world name) but is not needed for servers.
• Each player generates their own -info files when creating a world.
• The latest world save files are what should be transferred.
  Ensure you copy all required files when sharing a save. For servers, only Slot 1 is used.

its honestly awesome.just shred a carrot into slim small slices. put in an egg and walz it like youd do with pancake doe. throw it into the oven same thiccness and u have somewhat of a carrot pancake. garnish with tomatoes, sauce and sausage or other things u like - voila. super fresh healthy fast awesome food
