Biome and area. Within a biome there can also be different base level chests. So if you're level 30 and open a level 18 chest, you will still get that loot pool regardless of your level or things you are carrying.

Back when the game launched it used to rubberband and lag about 7 players or higher, a year later that was still the case, how is that now? We want to boot up a roleplay server again. of course if you're telling me 3 of your friends are in Brazil and 4 in New Zealand and you want your Chinese pals to join and btw you're in San Francisco... you're gonna have a mediocre time at best

Berry bushes have multiple stages of growing, if you cant see berries then you will only get sticks etc, alot of plants have 3 stages, planted, growing, mature, berries have 4, planting, growing, grown, fruiting if you look at plants with a watering can you can see how many stages they have and what stage the plant is at

Fast way to zip around your build if it's really big and accessing friends build and even main hubs to other planets

But it also did pull in a bunch of resources if you wanted to look through the portal at the other planet since it had to load the planet

I have good things to say about boneless but sadly the developer sold the game to another company to go work on baldur's gate 3 and it's kind of languished ever since

some kind of logic so that we can hide the ||3 queen statue pieces, or the 8 flame mosaics, or the pieces to the cyclops statue,|| ect.

Being a custom engine, it's a lot more work for us to implement things like DLSS/FSR support than it would be in a more established engine (where it's often as simple as just an update).

My hunch is that we will probably have better FSR/DLSS versions sometime in the future, but implementing new versions every single time there's a new version of DLSS/FSR is probably not very realistic. It's something we'll put aside the dev time for when the benefit seems worth it.

Well the fix was getting nvidia to disable it lol, Enshrouded didn't support DLSS 4.5, and when Nvidia would override it, it would completely break the game. A lot of users had no idea they had that setting enabled (no idea how, tbh, I don't think it's on by default), so we had a lot of people who didn't realize it was their nvidia app that was breaking the game.

If we implement support for a more modern DLSS version at some point, we might be able to enable it again

I made a backup. I believe it would still lock you from making other changes via the nvidia app though so its not really ideal of course. Ive used nvidia swapper before with nvidia inspector. It is the better option if it will allow

So I left read only unchecked. Rebooted and verified dlss override preset K is still active. You can leave the file modifiable and keep the overrides active within the app. This would probably get reverted if the app updates though and would need redone.

There's less issues than you're hearing. Most of the issues are just a case of learning how it works (It actually works a LOT like real water :D)

When you Remove Water using the flame altar, every 'block' of water in the build area will be removed, but any dispenser will instantly start filling again, so if you've not found the cause of the flood, it will occur again.

Map reveal is shared by all players; "Do thing on map" is by character.

Same with lore notes and such, pretty sure. Every player has to read the journal to get the note unlocked in journal. But one player in group doing so will advance the quest for any others with them at the time?

The first person to read it will advance the quest for the 'world' (And themselves) but in most cases the individuals use the missed quests to go back and advance it for themselves.

I think it'll progress for anyone in range though but don't quote me on that 😄
